Ch147: A Gift & A Question
“Oh!” A wide smile swiftly spreads across Krvavy’s face as she steps free from the bathroom. “Good, you’re here.”
“Where else would I be...?” Thea slowly sighs back, the hem of her sky blue sundress resting atop her perfectly squished thighs as she sits on a stool by the fireplace, lazily filing her nails. “It is not like I have anywhere else to be... Or much of anything else to do...”
“Do you always have to complain about that?” The barbarian idly wonders, casually crossing the room and purposefully ignoring the petulant glare directed her way. “I mean, you do actually have other things to do.”
“Of course.” Bitter sarcasm drips from those two words... and the ones that follow. “I could practice my detestable magics, or train with that damned bow! What wonderful ways to pass the time!”
Krvavy can’t help but furrow her brow as she meets that noble girl’s gaze, concern entering her emerald eyes. Sometimes Thea’s attitude is just an act. But right now... It is clear that she is actually upset. Or just really, really annoyed.
“What do you want?” The silver-blonde brat impatiently asks.
“Well...” Krvavy slowly begins, carefully considering her words as to not needlessly aggravate that girl. “I’m mostly done making the bathroom look nicer, and I wanted to see what you thought about it. It isn’t entirely made out of the same boring grey stone anymore. I’ve added some nice white marble and polished black basalt in there. And I also have some pinkish-red and dark green stones I can use as highlights, I’m just not sure if I should. That might be a bit garish, you know?”
Thea stares at the Drakling with narrowed eyes. After a few long seconds, she lets out a reluctant sigh. “Fine...” The girl stretches her arms high above her head – the soft fabric of her sundress clinging tightly to her chest as she straightens her spine – before even bothering to stand up. A faint flush colours her cheeks as she does her best to not acknowledge the Drakling’s appreciative gaze, simply making her way over to the bathroom as grumpily as she can.
“Wait, before we do that...” The barbarian quickly holds an arm in front of Thea, stopping the girl from walking right by her. “I’ve got a gift for you!”
Thea opens her mouth to spit out some undoubtedly snarky comment... but stops before she can say even a word. Her brow shoots up in surprise as a small rectangular box appears in the barbarian’s hand and is promptly pushed towards her. “Did you just...?”
“Spend some favour to get that? Yup~!” Krvavy does her best to keep an innocent smile on her face, despite the feeling of unease welling up inside of her. She isn’t expecting a good response to this gift. Especially since this probably isn’t the best time to give it... But hey, better now than never... Right...?
The bratty noble girl looks like she wants to scold Krvavy about wasting favour like this, but can’t bring herself to do that when she is the one benefiting from it. “Hmph...” Thea quietly huffs, trailing a finger over the beautifully polished wood and elegant golden clasp of that small rectangular case. A faint smile plays at her lips as she opens it up with a sharp click... Only for that slight bit of joy to die in an instant, replaced by cold and indignant fury.
Krvavy maintains her innocent smile, even if it is just a weak façade at this point. “Do you like it...?”
“What. Do. You. Think?” Thea icily asks that obviously rhetorical question, loudly snapping the case shut once the last word leaves her lips.
“Come on, don–”
“I do not need glasses!” Thea cuts Krvavy off with an angry shout, petulantly stomping a foot on the ground as she glares up at the significantly taller Drakling.
“Then just treat them as an accessory!” The barbarian hastily responds, dropping whatever plan she had and deciding to go with the manipulative one that Beryl suggested. “You’ll look cute in them! All dignified! Prim and proper! Sexy and refined!”
The bratty girl’s fingers clench around that beautifully polished case. “Do not try to trick me! I am not wearing glasses!”
“I’m being honest! I think you’ll look great in them!” And that isn’t even a lie! Krvavy does think that Thea would look great with glasses. But that clearly isn’t enough to convince this girl... “They... They’re enchanted!”
“So?!”
“They’ll adjust to the eyes of whoever first wears them! So if you don’t need them, they won’t do anything! They’ll just be a cute accessory! If you don’t believe me, then Inspect them!”
The bratty girl scowls and looks like she is going to shout back at the barbarian, but after a moment she simply grits her teeth and lowers her gaze back down to the little wooden box in her hands. Its top pops back open. Silence hangs in the air for a few long seconds. “Hmph!”
With a furrowed brow and pursed lips, Thea lifts those glasses out of their case, before shoving that now-empty thing back into the barbarian’s hands. She squints and holds this new accessory of hers almost at an arms reach away, critically looking it over. A finger trails along the black metal wire hugging the underside of a rather oval shaped lens.
Slowly... those glasses are turned around and brought up to this brat’s face. Another second passes before they are reluctantly slipped on.
Thea’s nose crinkles and twitches at the unfamiliar sensation of something weighing down on it, but any discomfort she feels is quickly brushed aside as her sour expression shifts into one of complete surprise.
The noble girl blinks again and again, almost as if she thinks something is stuck in her eyes, before glancing down at her hands. She looks closely at her nails without needing to squint even a bit, slowly moving her gaze down her fingers to her palm. The faintest smile plays at her lips before she remembers where she is, snapping her head back up to glare at the barbarian even as her cheeks flush an adorable red. “What are you looking at?!”
Krvavy can’t help but earnestly smile at her brat. “Just my beautiful princess~!” She lovingly coos, gently cupping the girl’s cheek. “Do you like your new accessory~?”
“Ugh!” Thea rolls her eyes and swats away the Drakling’s hand. “It is... alright,” the girl hesitantly grumbles. “But I do not need them! I see just as well now as I did before!”
Krvavy resists the urge to playfully tease Thea about how blatant a lie that is, no matter how fun it would be to do so. She wants her beautiful brat to wear these glasses, and if that means she has to let some perfect bullying opportunities pass by, then so be it. “You can change the colour of –”
“I am aware.” The bratty girl cuts Krvavy off with glare, which looks almost seductive through her new lenses. Thea lifts a finger up and taps the hinge beside her right eye. A shimmer passes over the black metal, turning it silver. The girl goes a little cross-eyed as she tries to look at the wire while still wearing her glasses, frowning a little before another shimmer passes over them, leaving the lenses rimmed with gold.
“They look great on you!”
“Ugh,” Thea rolls her eyes again, “you would say that even if I was wearing a tattered sack for a dress.”
“You’re just that beautiful~!” The Drakling replies with a playful smile, the tip of her tongue darting out to unconsciously lick her lips. To be completely honest, she never really was one to find glasses attractive. They were just something that some people wore. Nothing more, nothing less. But this sight in front of her has really changed Krvavy’s mind. These glasses are emphasizing Thea’s bratty bitchiness in a surprisingly wonderful way... This girl could easily pull of the sexy librarian look... Though the bratty attitude might spoil that... So maybe some sort of rich and spoiled schoolgirl vibes might fit better...?
“How much did these cost you?” Thea crosses her arms and glares at the barbarian, trying to appear rather firm and tough even with her cheeks as flushed as they are.
“Just a single point.” Krvavy proudly answers, unconsciously reaching out and gently grabbing onto the girl’s shoulder. “I could have spent more to get a pair which would adjust to the eyes of whoever wore them, but I felt like that was a bit much. Do you like this style though? Half-moon, I think it was called? I didn’t really get a choice about that.”
“Yes, this style is... fine.” The bratty girl softly sighs, relaxing ever so slightly as the barbarian idly massages her shoulder.
“Good, that’s good.” A bit of relief washes over Krvavy, as she actually was a little worried about that. These glasses were meant to be a gift, after all, and they wouldn’t be a very good gift if Thea thought they looked ugly. Her relief falters a little as a concerned thought suddenly pops into her head. “Hey, you doing alright? You looked pretty upset before I, well, sprung this on you.”
“Ugh... I am fine.”
Krvavy simply raises an eyebrow and meets her girl’s gaze.
“Tch,” that hot and haughty noble unhappily clicks her tongue. “I had a headache.” Thea seems content to leave it at that, but the Drakling’s insistent stare is enough to make her continue, albeit a little reluctantly. “I am also getting increasingly frustrated with my... excruciatingly slow progress. Is that what you want to hear?”
“You’ll get there eventually.” Krvavy gently reassures her frustrated brat, bringing her other hand up to cup the girl’s chin.
“You are just saying that!”
“No, I’m not. I believe in you, I really do. Seriously, look at what you can do now and compare it to what you could do a few months ago. Sure, you aren’t that happy with the kind of magic you can cast, but it is still magic.”
Somehow, the bratty girl’s face flushes even more as she hears those earnest words. “Sh-shut up!”
“No.” Krvavy leans in closer, nearly touching the tip of her nose against that of her beautiful brat. “I love you. I want to see you happy. I want to see you grow, both as a person and in power. I don’t like seeing you frustrated or upset. I –”
Delicate fingers wrap around the handlebars that are this Drakling’s horns, using that grip to drag her head down more than enough for Thea to silence her with a quick kiss. An intense feeling of joy and love flashes through her very being, lingering long after those warm lips leave her own.
“How can you say things like that...?” The silver-blonde noble girl whispers as she pulls back, looking downwards and feeling far too embarrassed to make eye contact.
“I don’t know.” Krvavy answers with a shrug, feeling her cheeks burn with a blush of her own. “I don’t really think and just let the words come out.”
“Ugh... I should have known...” The bratty girl rolls her eyes, trying to act more composed than she really is. She turns her head away in an attempt to appear bored and disinterested, even though her face is still flushed a bright red, and begins to grumble quite grumpily. “Just show off whatever it is that you did to the bathroom so that we can be done with this already...”
“Actually, I’m not sure if I want to do that anymore~!” The barbarian playfully remarks, pulling Thea into a tight and clingy hug that sees that brat’s head buried between her bare breasts. “The stone won’t suddenly get up and leave, so there’s no need to rush~!”
“Seriously?!” Thea incredulously groans as a single strong hand trails down her back, groping at her ass through the soft fabric of her sundress. “Are you really incapable of holding yourself back?!”
“Can you really blame me~? Don’t answer that~.” Krvavy looms above her beautiful brat, a warm and lewd smile playing at her lips as she gazes down at the girl who isn’t trying to escape her embrace. “I’m just in awe at how sexy you look with those glasses~! They really make your angry little glares into... into something else~! I’m not sure how to put it, but it is wonderful~!”
“Hmph!” The girl reluctantly turns her head away, depriving the Drakling of her adorable scowl. “You are lucky that no one else is up here right now...!” She dramatically sighs, glancing around the room. “Can we at least move this to the bed first?”
“Of course~! Anything for my pretty little princess~!” Krvavy hardly wastes even a second before scooping this noble girl up into her arms, planting a quick kiss on Thea’s forehead as she hurries on over to their big bed. “Any specific way you want to do it~?”
“Ugh... just sit back...” Thea does her best to hide her excitement under a disinterested and indifferent act, but the blush spreading down her neck and to her shoulders completely betrays her true feelings. As does the smile that she can’t quite keep off her face. “If I let you hold the reins it will end with me being unable to walk for the rest of the day...”
“Is that so bad~?”
“It is if I want to get anything done.”
“So you do have things to do~?” A teasing grin fills Krvavy’s face as she lowers herself down onto one of the mossy platforms further into their ridiculously massive bed, tucked away and mostly hidden from the rest of the room.
“Hmph...!” The silver-blonde brat huffs to herself and pushes away the Drakling’s hands, slipping from Krvavy’s lap to stand on her own two feet. That noble girl lightly nibbles on her lower lip as she finds her gaze drawn down to Krvavy’s loincloth, briefly watching it rise before she catches herself staring. “Just... take that thing off already!”
That order is swiftly followed, that singular piece of clothing getting untied and then tossed to the side, landing out of reach of both barbarian and brat. Not that either of them have any intention to grab it.
Krvavy’s eyes hungrily trail up and down her brat’s beautiful body, finding herself focusing on a slight trickle of glistening liquid trailing down the girl’s leg from beneath this sky blue sundress.
“Ugh! Finally~!” Thea groans in a rather lewd manner, almost sounding as if she just moaned, before reaching over and giving the Drakling’s dick a poke.. Her lips curl upwards ever so slightly as the already swollen shaft twitches and stiffens even further at that small bit of contact. “You are hopelessly enamoured with me, are you not~?”
“Of course~! I love you so much~!”
The bratty girl’s composure wavers at that bold admission. Even though she has heard those words countless times already, and will undoubtedly be hearing them for years to come, they still draw such an adorably flustered reaction from her. “Sh-shut up!” Thea tries, and fails, to keep the giddy smile off of her face as she climbs back into Krvavy’s lap, straddling the barbarian’s muscular thighs.
“I’m not sure if I want to~!” Krvavy playfully comments, her heartbeat quickening in anticipation. “I lov–~!”
The Drakling is once again silenced with a kiss. A tingling shiver runs down her spine as her bottom lip is so gently nibbled on, issuing a challenge that she would never dream of turning down. Her long, inhuman tongue presses forwards, claiming Thea’s mouth for her own and soon dominating that girl’s far more delicate tongue in a passionate dance. One which grows increasingly wild, reaching a near-frenzied pace as both lovers lose themselves in each others’ embrace.
Those new glasses repeatedly bump into their faces, yet that mild discomfort is hardly even noticed.
Krvavy’s stiff and swollen shaft throbs in the cool air, feeling neglected and alone. But that doesn’t last for very long. Soft fabric gently grazes against that Draconic dick as Thea raises herself up without breaking the sloppy seal between their lips, the hem of her sundress teasing across its tip. The Drakling’s dick bumps into this beautiful brat’s thighs as she blindly positions herself, taking a few clumsy tries before it presses into her sopping slit.
Pleasure rolls through the barbarian’s body as her little princess’ lower lips kiss at her cockhead. Her hand trails over Thea’s jaw and to the girl’s chin, firmly grabbing on before forcibly bringing their kiss to an end. Her long tongue slips free even as the silver-blonde noble sucks on it and tries to keep it from leaving.
“Whyyy~...?!” Thea whines with a moan, her soft-blue eyes blinking away the haze of lust.
“You little slut~!” Krvavy nearly cheers as her fingers continue to lovingly squish the brat’s cheeks. “You aren’t wearing anything beneath that dress~!”
Defying all logic, Thea’s already flushed face becomes an even more vibrant shade of red as her blush deepens even further.
“Not going to deny it or try to justify it~?” Krvavy’s emerald eyes gleam with a sadistic joy as she teases her brat, letting the tip of her long tongue briefly lick across Thea’s lips.
“I... I am your... I am yours~... Your loveslave~...” Those new glasses sit askew on this normally bratty girl’s nose as she bashfully mumbles those embarrassing words, struggling to maintain eye contact. “An-and with how perverted and amorous you are, it only makes sense for me to always be ready f-for you~...!” A bit of her usual energy returns as she speaks, but not enough to hide how vulnerable that honest confession left her.
Krvavy’s breath catches in her throat as an intense feeling of pure, unconditional love washes over her. “You know how I occasionally tease you about being my wife?” She finds herself asking that question, her tone steady and serious. “I don’t want to tease you about that any more. I want it to be real.”
Thea audibly gulps and struggles to speaks, growing even more flustered by that sudden statement. “Are... are you asking me to... to marry you...?” She breathes out, her voice wavering and just barely audible.
Krvavy blinks in realization at what she just said, idly moving her hand up to straighten her beautiful brat’s glasses. “I’m... sorry. This isn’t the time or place to ask that...” The Drakling sighs as a bundle of stress claws at her heart. She can’t just leave it at that. “But... yes. Yes, I am.”
The silver-blonde noble girl is completely stunned. Her soft-blue eyes grow a little watery as she stares at Krvavy like a deer in headlights, hardly even reacting as the barbarian’s thumb brushes away a tear before it can drop.
An immense amount of dread wells up within Krvavy at that lack of response, almost making her regret having said anything at all. She resists the urge to close her eyes, drawing upon all of her confidence to keep talking. “Theadosia Constance Severina,” each word that she says feels as if it could be her last, but still she continues on. “Will you marry me? Will you be my wife?”
“Haahhh~!” Thea loudly gasps, taking her first breath in over a minute. “Yes! Yes! Yes! I will!” The noble girl cries out, tears flowing freely down her cheeks.
Relief washes over the barbarian as her beautiful brat’s lips press against her own once more. Passion flows between them, warm and lively, but unlike the kiss they shared just minutes ago... this one remains chaste and pure.
Even so, it is the best kiss Krvavy has ever had.
