Ch: 59 [Susan’s Lust]

As Sue and Brian entered her apartment, a mixture of nervousness and anticipation filled the air. The events of the evening had led them to this point, and Sue's heart raced as she considered the possibility of what might unfold next. She hadn't expected her encounter with Brian to take such a turn, but there was something undeniably appealing about his company.

As she led him into the cozy living room, Sue couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. The weight of her own relationship challenges still lingered in her mind, but being in Brian's presence offered a welcome distraction from her thoughts.

"Make yourself at home," she said with a warm smile, gesturing toward the comfortable seating arrangements.

"Thanks," Brian replied, returning her smile as he settled onto the couch. The atmosphere was charged with a sense of intimacy, and he couldn't deny the attraction he felt toward Sue.

As his gaze fell on the table set for a romantic dinner, a somber mood seemed to settle over the room. Sue followed his gaze and sighed softly, a hint of sadness in her expression.

"Yeah, that was the plan for tonight," she said, her voice carrying a note of disappointment. "But I guess things don't always go as planned."

Brian's empathetic eyes met Sue's, and he nodded understandingly. "Life has a way of throwing curveballs at us, even when we least expect it."

Sue moved to the table, her fingers trailing over the delicate wine glasses and the melted candles. The scene before her seemed to echo the emotional turmoil she had been experiencing throughout the evening.

"Sometimes, I wonder if it's my fault," she admitted, her voice soft. "Maybe I'm asking for too much, or expecting things to be different than they can be."

"I'm sure that's not the case," Brian responded, his kind eyes conveying his understanding. "You deserve to be happy, and you shouldn't settle for anything less."

The sincerity of his words touched Sue's heart, and she was grateful for his support.

"Thank you," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "I appreciate that."

Brian gave a small, soft smile before moving to join Sue at the table. As they looked at each other for a moment, the atmosphere in the room seemed to shift. The underlying tension between them was intensifying by the minute, and it was clear that they were both feeling the magnetic pull of attraction.

He touched her hand and gave a reassuring squeeze, "Don't let the things outside of your control ruin the great moments you have in life."

His words were like a balm to her soul, and Sue found herself feeling bolstered by his support. He was right—she couldn't allow herself to become so fixated on the difficulties of her romantic relationship that she missed out on the valuable experiences waiting to be seized.

With a determined lift of her chin, Sue felt her resolve strengthening. She wasn't going to let the night end on a sour note, and she wasn't going to let Reed or her regrets bring her down.

She was going to make the most of the evening and embrace the emotions that Brian brought out in her.

"You're right," she replied, her voice infused with newfound resolve. "It's time to stop worrying about what might have been and focus on what could be."

She moved closer to Brian, her gaze locking with his. Their faces were merely inches apart, and the tension was palpable.

His scent filled the air, a faint but distinct mix of pine and cedarwood, and she could see a longing flash in his eyes as he contemplated the possibilities.

Sue's heart beat faster, and an electric energy flowed through her body. Time seemed to stand still as the world around them seemed to fade away.

Unable to resist the overwhelming desire pulsing within her veins, she leaned in and claimed Brian's lips in a searing kiss. The passion between them ignited, and their bodies pressed against each other as their hands began to explore.

Tension rose as desire coursed through their veins, and it wasn't long before Sue's skin was burning with a fire that needed to be quenched. The heat of Brian's touch elicited a moan of pleasure from deep in her throat, and she pulled him closer.

Their breaths mingled in the air as their bodies melded into one, and the floodgates of desire were finally opened.

Brian grabbed her by her waist and pulled her up on the tabletop. As she felt her butt rise on the rough wood, her senses were still tingling with all kinds of heightened sensations. It was then that he began to kiss her tender neck.

She had no time to react, for Brian's full lips were already on hers, making their way along her jaw line and down her neck.

"Do you know how long I've wanted this?" he whispered in a husky voice that made her shiver. She let her fingertips trail the expanse of his chest, feeling the strong muscles hidden underneath his shirt. His hands moved over her bare legs, teasing the hem of her dress higher and higher.

As his touch grew more intimate, she allowed herself to indulge in the moment and stopped thinking. Instead, she just felt.

Sue pushed her hands past his collar and let them wander down his body. His chest was so muscled that she could feel the outline of his chiseled pecs. Every inch of his front seemed to be as defined as the next, and a muffled growl escaped her throat. "Jesus, you are like steel underneath there."

"Let me show you more," he urged her quietly and proceeded to take off his shirt in one skilled move. It seemed all business to him, but to Sue, this was pure entertainment. A movie unfolded right before her eyes, and she was front-row center.

The shirt opened and let her gaze meet a magnificent body.

"Damn..." Sue murmured, "You aren't taking those drugs to buff up, are you?"

Her hand touched his chest once more, feeling every valley, nook, and cranny. She couldn't believe how well-built he was. Her fingers ran from his shoulder, across his pecs, and over the rock-hard abs, sliding right into the tantalizing V of his obliques.

She couldn't believe how hot her body temperature had gotten. It wasn't as though she was having the foreplay of her lifetime, but somehow, that didn't matter right now.

Sue bit her lip and dove in for another passionate kiss. It was happening, and in her mind, nothing could interrupt this. Then, the landline phone began to ring.

"Oh, you have got to be kidding me," Sue said breathlessly, unable to hide her frustration. Brian stood back, not amused at being interrupted at such a crucial moment.

"It's from Reed," Sue whispered.

Brian went behind her and hugged her tightly, "Why don't you answer him while I..." He bit her earlobe, making her moan in pleasure.

It took all of her willpower to think straight.

Sue and Reed haven't broken up yet, and their marriage date has already been finalized. If he was reaching out to her this late at night, after breaking his promise to have a romantic night together, something must have happened...

Slowly, Sue picked up the receiver, a little wet to the touch because Brian's fingers were doing all kinds of wonderful things to her body.

A male voice erupted from the other side of the line, "Hey, Sue, sorry about today. The cosmic radiations were going off the charts so, I had to check up with the interstellar relay system."

Brian's hands moved underneath her dress as he cupped her firm and round breasts through her bra. His tongue was licking her throat, and slowly gliding down.

Sue could hardly hold herself as a flood of sensations seeped through her.

"Mumm~" Sue tried to hold back her moan, but it escaped her mouth as she struggled to reply with an annoyed sigh.

"You alright?" Reed asked from the other side of the phone.
