Ch: 34 [Hosptial pt1]

What's this voice in my head? Anyway, I can barely move my body and my vision is almost gone. I can barely see anything. Might as well trust this voice. It's better than nothing.

"I choose to take its power and destroy it," I whispered.

The Symbiote's black mass landed on my body. A sudden burst of energy spread from within me, enveloping me in its dark, ominous presence. I could feel the symbiote's power coursing through my veins, filling me with a dark energy.

I gasped as I felt a sudden surge of power filling my body. The sensation was exhilarating as it coursed through my veins, awakening every cell in my body. I felt like a new being, with newfound powers and abilities that were far beyond human comprehension. I can feel the Symbiote's body fusing with my body. It's like the cells or whatever that Symbiote is... It's fusing with me.

As it did, my mind was bombarded by images of the symbiote's past. It had many hosts in the past, many victims. They became stronger but in the end, all died of its corruption and lack of affinity.

"You will be the same as well... Your soul will be tainted and your heart will be corrupted. You will turn into a ruthless monstrosity. But I don't care. I will give you unimaginable power. Your heart will burn with insatiable greed and bloodlust. You will yearn for power and will kill anyone and anything to obtain it."

A faint voice whispered inside my head.

[Bonding Completed]

[Beginning the operation]

[Seperating Symbiote's powers and entity]

I felt my body trembling. It's like I can hear an unfamiliar voice in my head. I can feel something inside my mind. I can feel its dark presence and the power coursing through my veins. But at the same time, I can hear another voice. I don't even know what's going on anymore. Everything is too dark and cold.

"Wait! What is going on? This is... No! What kind of fuck is this? You bastard... Release me!" The Symbiote hissed angrily.

[Seperation Successful]

[Isolating the Symbiote]

[Beginning the purging process]

I gasped. My head felt like it was about to explode. My body felt like it was burning up, as if it was aflame. My insides felt like it was being torn apart from within. I cried out in agony, trying to escape my burning prison, but I couldn't move my body. I could only scream as the dark energy coursed through my body. I could hear the Symbiote's screams as it became weaker.

Then, the burning sensation finally disappeared, leaving me panting for breath. I collapsed to the ground as I felt the darkness consuming me.

I fell unconscious, feeling exhausted. The last thing I could remember was the voice of the Symbiote in my head, screaming in pain.

When I woke up, I found myself in a white room, lying on a hospital bed. Haaa... It's a relief that I survived. But what about the Symbiote? Did I kill it? I hope it's dead.

The Symbiote... Huh?

Peggy was looking at my face with worry, "Brian, thank goodness you are fine. You scared us all to death." She grabbed my hand and squeezed it tightly.

Near my feet, Gwen was standing, smiling at me. "Hey, how are you feeling?"

"Hey... Peggy... Gwen..." I muttered her name. "How long have I been out?"

"A week..." Peggy replied. "It's a miracle that you survived."

"A week!? Haaa... What about the others? That kid and Peter? You should know Peter is that Lizard freak in human form." I decided to keep the Symbiote a secret for now.

"Don't worry. The kid will be fine, he's in another room right now. Massive blood loss. He lost a lot of blood, but he will be fine. And the Lizard... Peter Parker... He escaped before we got there." Peggy sighed. "We will find him soon."

"Enough about others, how are you feeling?" Gwen asked me with a concerned expression on her face. "You should know you were in a very critical condition. Your heart was barely beating... The doctors did their best but there wasn't any improvement."

I felt my heart pounding in my chest, it was still beating. "So, how am I still alive?"

"Advance biotechnology," Peggy looked at me. "We Illuminati have developed technology, thanks to Black Widow. Although it was still in the trial phase... We didn't have any other choice. Your life was at stake."

"Wow... Thanks," I said with a weak voice. "You saved my ass."

Peggy smiled. "No need to thank me. You were very lucky. Take some rest. You need it."

"Haaa... Alright." I closed my eyes. "I am so tired... I just want to sleep. And, thanks... Both of you for sticking with me."

I opened my eyes for a moment to see Peggy's face. She had a warm smile on her face. "Always."

Gwen took my hand in hers and whispered softly, "Just don't do anything stupid again. Promise?"

"I will do my best," I replied.

"Good," She looked into my eyes and then kissed me. It was a soft kiss on the lips. Then she broke the kiss and said, "Get some rest now."

"I will see you tonight, bye," Peggy kissed me after Gwen.

I felt a pleasant sensation as their soft lips touched my lips. "Bye..."

I lay back on the bed and closed my eyes. I feel so tired. I should get some sleep. I know, I need it. My body is aching like hell. Well, I am glad that kid survived.

I fell asleep after a few minutes.

After a while, I opened my eyes and sat up. It was night already. It's 7 pm. Soon the lady doctor came in with a plate of food. Humm... It's the job of nurses to do such jobs. But the doctor is bringing me food personally. Interesting. But... Her face... She looks kinda familiar. She was a beautiful lady. Short blonde hair, hazel iris, doc's dress... I found myself staring at her pretty face for a few seconds. Then she caught me looking at her and smiled.

I looked away in embarrassment. "Haaa... Sorry about that."

"It's alright," She put down the plate of food on my table and walked to the door. "Are you feeling better?"

I looked at her again. I could swear that I knew her. I saw her somewhere before, but where? It's strange, I have a vague feeling that I knew her. But where?

"Are you alright?" She asked with a concerned expression on her face. "Do you feel dizzy or any pain?"

"No. I am alright. But thanks for asking," I smiled.

"Have some food. You need energy to get better."

She smiled.

"Have we met before? You seem very familiar to me," I said, feeling like I've known her from somewhere.

"Ah! You remember me?" She asked with a shocked expression on her face. "I can't believe you remember me."

"You look familiar, but can't remember where," I replied with a confused expression on my face.

"We met at that orphanage camp, a few months ago. You were donating clothes and stuff to the kids and I remember you cooking food for them. I was like... What? A famous chef is cooking for kids for free... Haha... But then I saw how you mingled with the kids and everyone. Then I heard that you were donating for years. I felt so bad for thinking wrong things about you that I came and apologized to you..." She gave me a warm smile.

"Ohh... Sorry about that, things been a bit hectic lately. But I remember now. You were that doc checking that old caretaker."

She smiled. "Yup. That's me."

"Thanks for the food." I picked up the plate, "So, how have you been?"
