Chapter 17- Tender love
Minase Koori has always been a lively and helpful girl to others. This was no facade or her attempt to make herself friendly toward others in her surroundings, but rather her natural personality.
However, today she no longer keeps up her smile, despite how much she tries.
The reason was her lover.
Hiiragi Naoko was her childhood friend, with whom she spent more than seven years now and has been in a relationship for about two years.
In these two years, many things have changed between them.
Being just friends was a different thing. Koori was able to share her interests, ideas, and what she felt without having any thought of getting judged by Naoko. However, things are different now.
She now has to think about what she says and does. A slight bit of banter now turns into a big fight and most of the time, Koori has to say sorry to make up.
Naoko has always been a quirky kind of guy, and nowadays he mostly remains irritated because of his family issues. Koori wants to share his grief and support him, but every time she tries to close the gap, he pushes her away.
He doesn't want to get Koori involved in his personal matters, even though she has literally spilled every deepest secret about her life and family. She hid nothing from him yet...
'Am I that unreliable...' Her eyes moistened as she found herself crying once again.
"Are you alright?"
"Ah!" Koori started hearing a feminine yet heavy voice from so near before she turned to look at the leaning figure of a woman, she never have seen before.
The woman had brown short hair, sticking to her face because of the rain, and captivating caramel shade eyes. Her skin was tanned which seemed to glimmer because of the moisture. Her woman traced all over Koori's face, which made the pinkette blush slightly.
"Y-Yes..." She wanted to draw her gaze down or anywhere but her face...but for some reason, Koori wasn't able to snatch her eyes away from hers. It felt like she was captivated entirely by the stranger.
"You clearly are not okay....here come with me first."
Koori widened her eyes in surprise when the woman held her wrist in her long fingers and strong clutch, before pulling Koori to the nearby store.
As both of them stood under the shed of the store, the woman once again addressed Koori, "Boyfriend is it?"
Koori widened her eyes in surprise before asking, "How do you know?"
"Well, you can say I have lots of experience. Now tell me what he did to make such a pretty girl cry?"
Koori found slightly embarrassed hearing the word 'pretty' from such a dashing woman. Even though she was in a white shirt and blue jeans, the woman looked stunning from top to bottom.
Her long legs extruded a mature charm with her ample breasts emphasizing her figure and providing an excellent curve to her body. Maybe because of her short hair, but the woman seemed extremely tall, to the point where Koori had to look up, to see her face.
...for some reason, the stranger was making her a bit nervous...yet excited?
Koori except that she has a thing for mature and strong women, especially those who possess a thing that differs from a man...but surely this woman couldn't be one of those right?
"I-It was a small argument..." Koori didn't find it compelling to tell this stranger about her circumstances. Again, she didn't know why.
"But that doesn't mean you have to hamper your health like this, right? I was in a nearby store and when I saw you like, I couldn't help approaching."
Her voice held a tinge of concern for Koori which brought a healthy blush to her pale cheeks, as Koori immediately ducked her head to save herself from further embarrassment.
However, her attempt turned futile as the woman suddenly cupped her cheeks with her warm palms, urging Koori to look up.
Their eyes once again aligned as Koori found her breath getting stuck in her throat upon finding her charismatic face this close.
"Don't be sad anymore...whatever happened, I know one day, you will get over it, alright? So just keep your chin up."
...as Koori thought this person was very mature and considerate. She could tell just from a glance how protective and caring she must be toward her partner.
'Ah...how lucky her lover must be...' Koori couldn't help thinking, ignoring all the guilt she should have been feeling upon thinking something like this about someone else when she already had her boyfriend.
Koori nodded shyly while trying to fight the blush which had taken a resident all over her face by now.
"Ah..." A disappointed sound leaked her lips when the lady let go of her face and stood straight....it felt nice to be touched so tenderly after a long time.
...Koori didn't mind if the lady had held her a little more. But of course, she couldn't say it as well.
Koori thought that her meeting with this great and admirable lady was nearing an end, however...
"Let's dry ourselves up, shall we? I mean it doesn't seem the rain is going to stop anytime soon, so..."
****
"Aaaaahhh..." Koori couldn't help thumping her fist against the pillow as she laid on the comfortable bed, the hotel room provided.
When the lady suggested getting changed, Koori never anticipated that they would end up in a love hotel. However since it was the nearest from where they were standing, Koori couldn't blame the lady as well.
'Seriously what am I doing...' Once she calmed down, Koori thought that she might be a little lenient with her sense of security since she had never gone to love hotel like this with anyone, even her boyfriend. And her first experience was no less than a person she met an hour ago.
'But...she seemed so nice and warm...' Koori couldn't help smiling while remembering how tenderly the woman treated her and took Koori's choice into consideration.
She never showed any suspicious signs and only was thinking for Koori's sake.
'Maybe she is treating me like a little sister...?'
Koori's thoughts were broken when she heard the door of the bathroom, parting before the figure of a charming woman revealed from the other side.
She was wearing a bathrobe, just like Koori which complimented her tall and broad frame quite well.
....however, it wasn't her figure or face where Koori's attention went...rather, the long dangling object between her legs.
*Gulp*
