Chapter 79: Compliments…

Following dessert, the five of us migrated to the living room where we played a round of Carnal Conquests, no penalty though, didn't seem like anyone was in a stripping mood. And then our night was brought to a close. By the time Melody and I returned to the dorms, it was around nine-thirty.

After a quick greeting in the common area with Clay and Brendan, two of the other S tiers at the academy, we headed back to our room. Once the door shut behind us, Melody spoke. "That was fun."

"Yeah," I agreed as we both stood facing one another, right in front of the door.

At some point, Melody broke the silence, ripping me out of my… I guess I wasn't really thinking. Just kinda looking at Melody. She's pretty. I say that a lot, don't I? Not enough though.

"You're wearing a lot of clothes." Unfortunately my not thinking was interrupted by pretty Melody's offhand comment.

"Oh, shit!" I immediately scrambled to grab the bottom of my gray hoodie. I forgot earlier today too! Melody must've forgotten too, she never reminded me. Or she didn't remind me on purpose. She was trying to see if I remembered, testing me. I failed, I think. Once I had both my hoodie and shirt off, I moved to unclasp my bra only to be interrupted by Melody.

"Don't take that off." Melody took a step toward my frazzled self and grabbed my arms, which had frozen behind me, dragging them in front of my body. Once they were in place, both placed right in front of my belly, she removed her hands. "Take off your skirt."

I obeyed, sliding my right hand over to unzip my blue skirt before slipping it down my legs where it fell into a pile around my feet. Almost naked, I looked back up toward Melody. Her eyes were locked on my body.

Gently, she brought her hands back up, wrapping them around my hips, just above my panties.

Slowly, she dragged them upwards.

My body shivered while my eyes stayed glued to her face. She was just as fixated on my stomach. Once her hands had reached my chest, she paused.

"Do you want to try whips?"

What type of question is that? The answer is pretty obvious. We already had this convo a while ago too. Melody's eyes glided up to meet mine. Admiring their pretty blueness, I replied, "I already agreed."

"No, this wouldn't be a punishment," Melody stated, dropping her hands away. I shivered again. "I just want to whip you."

Uh… I'm not dreaming, am I?

Surely I didn't hear that correctly. It's not a punishment… I just want to whip you. I am going to die from heat radiating off of Melody's perfect, insanely hot, insanely pretty body.

"Right now, in this moment, do you want me to cover you in whip marks?" Melody asked again. And the answer is obvious. I'm horny enough from our game earlier and the last time Melody and I had fun was… a few hours ago? That recently? Really?

I mean, it got interrupted rather abruptly, but still. Felt like decades. I must be getting corrupted. Dang, that's so sad. I would never want to be objectified and turned into a sex toy by a rich, pretty, whip-loving dom.

True to my emotions, I replied the best way I know. "Yes… Mistress. I-I want you to cover me… cover me in stinging scarlet welts, I want you to sear my skin, ruin me for days… I-please."

Oh my god I can't believe I just said that. Eek! That was so much more embarrassing than I expected, emotion sure, but holy shit that was hard to say. I was gonna say more too, like "I want you to mark me, chain me, torture me, break me" or something similar but I couldn't. I'm not corrupt enough yet. Get on it Melody.

"I've never heard more beautiful words." Melody's face grew into a sinister smile, followed by the first of many orders to come. "Take off your shoes, now."

Immediately, I stared down at my feet, stepping out of my skirt, then slipping off my shoes, leaving me in just my socks and undergarments and very ready for what was coming next.

"I want you to go the bathroom, look at yourself, and compliment yourself until I come and get you." Scratch that. I was not ready for what was coming next. Melody followed up her order with a warning. "Keep count too. BDSysteM will let me know the truth."

However, I couldn't help but wonder, and totally not because I assume I'll only be able to reach like two, about our agreement last night. "I thought it was just one per day?"

"I don't recall saying one. We'd never hit a billion compliments if you only said one per day," Melody explained. Did she really not say one? Was it just my interpretation? Huh. Well, that makes it harder. Regardless, Melody's always right. "Now head on up."

Taking a deep breath, I looked at the stairs. Then, I began walking, feeling oddly more exposed than if I were naked as Melody drilled into me from behind. As I reached the last stair, I peeked over my shoulder. Melody hadn't moved.

I swiveled back and rushed up the last step, heading straight down the hallway toward the open bathroom door.

After closing it behind me, I looked over myself in the mirror, combing my hand through my strands of black hair. Time to suffer. What do I say? Compliments, compliments, compliments… I guess let's just start from yesterday. I'm… oh god, I can take a lot of punishment, which Melody corrected to being strong, and I'm good at listening. So, if I'm good at listening…

I looked up from the sink, my eyes having somehow drooped, and stared at myself once more. "I'm good at following directions."

That's one. Okay. What else? What else can you do, Scarlet? Are there any secrets in your red eyes? No? Okay. That's fine too. Um… "Two… I'm happy? Does that count?"

It does right? That's a compliment. I'm happy here, happy with my system, happy with Melody, happy with my dorm, with my dungeon raid team. Yeah. Yeah! I'm happy. That's a compliment. I'd even argue with Melody about that. Now, number three…

"I'm… uh… horny but that's not a compliment." I guess I'm smart? Like, I didn't really struggle much in high school despite taking some advanced courses and things. Not that high school classes are the end all be all of smartness. Actually, didn't Melody say that yesterday? Whatever. I didn't so it counts.

"Three, I'm smart." Onto the next one…

I'm kinda cold. Wearing just underwear makes me cold. I guess I'm warmer than usual since usually I'm naked. Maybe it's just colder outside today. Winter is coming. Hopefully I cum first. Those aren't compliments though.

Does it count if I compliment my bra? I wasn't paying much attention earlier today when I threw one on after the shower… also how did I not remember to be naked? That was weird. My mind must've just been out of whack from our workout stumbles.

Anyway, bra? It's kinda cute looking. It's a little on the revealing side, everything just slightly under-sized for my size, but it's a nice shade of black and the material feels super silky. And now I'm playing with my boobs instead of complimenting myself. Bad Scarlet.

Hmm… my panties are also cool. They have little frills at the top making some flowery design instead of just a boring band. Doesn't count as complimenting me though. Although, right in between my garments, my belly button, is a little cute. I think I'll just…

I poked my right index finger into it. Huh. Now that I'm doing it, it seems kinda weird. I mean, it feels kinda kinky though? Like, its a little more sensitive than just my belly, and when I rub it around… it feels so weirdly satisfying. Uh—wait. Am I hypnotizing myself with my belly button?

Ahem. Well, this counts right? Number four… "My belly button is cute."

Okay okay, enough of that. Back to normal compliments. Number five. Let's see—

"How's it going in there, puppy?"

Melody? "Puppy?"

I spun around to face the door, instinctively covering my already covered self with my hands for no particular reason while Melody continued speaking. "Well I told you I'd make you a zoo. Zoos have more than one animal."

Fair enough, I guess. Does that mean I get different ears tonight? Floppy dog ears?

"Can I come in?" Huh?

"Of course," I replied immediately. Why the hell wouldn't you be able to come in? You can enter any part of me anytime you want, Melody.

The door swung open revealing Melody dressed exactly like she had been today, short-skirt dress and thigh highs, but without her sweater, revealing her beautifully smooth arms, perfect for grabbing puppies by the collar and showing them their place. Or whipping them I suppose. Wait, no. Don't whip puppies. Only whip human puppies. Yeah.

Melody took as step forward and placed her hands on my shoulders, then spun me back around to face the mirror, her head resting on top of her hand on top of my right shoulder. "Tell me the compliments you came up with."

"Uh… One, I'm good at following directions." I began hesitantly, looking at Melody's warm smile.

"Move your hands down to your sides." Melody said confidently, our mirrored eyes locked with one another. I obeyed, and took my arms from around my chest down to my sides, my hands gently pressing against my thighs. Melody chuckled. "Looks like that's true. Do you have another?"

"Yeah," I answered, blushing. "Two, I'm happy."

Melody tilted her head for a moment, before responding. "I think you look pretty embarrassed right now, but sure, that counts. Another?"

"Uh, three, I'm smart." My blush had only grew.

"What's 1 + 1?" Melody asked, raising her chin.

"2," I answered.

"Smart indeed." Melody nodded, then let her head rest back down on my shoulder. "Any more?"

"Uhmm…" I don't know if I wanna say this one. I… Melody… probably won't care? She'll probably say I'm cute even if I do stupid stuff so. I guess I should just say it. "Four, my belly button is cute."

Melody's eyes shot downwards, gluing themselves to my belly button, while my hands shot up from my sides to cover it. Even though she's seen me naked and it's literally a belly button. God I'm so stupid—Ahem, smart. I'm smart. It's a fact set in stone now. Since Melody said so.

Giggling, Melody's hands slid down my arms until they reached my wrists. "Show me."

With the gentle pressure Melody placed on me, I relented and slid my hands back to my sides. Then, she stared… for at least a minute. Until finally, she spoke again, letting go of my wrists, and gliding her eyes back up my body until they reconnected with my own. "It's pretty cute."

With my face still beet red, Melody clamped down on my sides and spun me around, pressing my butt against the counter. Then, she leaned in close. Really close. Until our noses were an inch apart. And paused.

Abruptly, she dove through the last couple inches and kissed me. Melody immediately found her way into my mouth as it opened in shock and she gave me a brief, but passionate kiss. After a mere second, despite me craving more, she broke away, then drilled into my eyes, and asked, "Are you sure, Scarlet?"

Melody's asking about the whips again. I'm sure I want to experience it. Why does she keep asking about it? Maybe because it's connected to her system? Although it's not like the other stuff we've been doing aren't connected. Maybe not as directly, but as she herself put it, "anything without a rigid form" qualifies. That's bound to include the cuffs she's made me wear. "I'm sure… are you?"

Before I managed to watch her reaction, Melody closed the distance once more, this time going in for a hug, her head resting on my right shoulder. "As long as you are."

Following her words, Melody's hands slid down my back until the reached my butt, where she put a little bit of ticklish pressure and soon converted our hug into her carrying me and exiting the bathroom, heading straight into her bedroom, while I just stared at her skirt fluttering behind her and the lovely thigh gap that kept peeking at me while she walked. Melody's so pretty.

All of a sudden, Melody's hands left me, causing me to fall backwards onto her waiting bed. I sat up while Melody bent down to the floor, grabbing three whips, and placing them all across my lap.

The three whips were all black, as whips tend to be, and all very painful looking, as whips tend to be. The closest one had a bunch of tendrils and a steel grip. The next one was a normal-looking whip with a wooden handle. The third one also had tendrils but like, flat, weak-looking braided leathery tendrils, and a leather handle. The third one is kinda pretty. I mean, the other two are pretty too, but in a more painful I'm-going-to-get-tortured way. Also… I didn't realize whips were so big. I mean, I did, but like, seeing them on my lap… whips are big.

"The one closest to you is a cat o' nine tails," Melody began, reaching down to grab it. She picked it up, then threw it to the side.

"The next one is a single-tail deerskin whip. 18-inch fall. 1/2-inch thong width. Makes a nice crack too. Focused stinging pain." Melody did not reach down to throw this one away, instead, she went right along to describing the next whip. "The third one is a leather flogger with twelve 9 millimeter braided tails, 18 inches long. Less intense, spread out pain, although the braids… not that it won't still be painful."

Melody gave me a moment to process everything she said before she continued and I'm very thankful for her addendums about pain since I don't even know what the fuck a fall or a tail is even though I probably should. I assume its like the whip part of the whip. Also thong width sounds like a swimsuit spec.

Once the break ended, Melody asked bluntly, "Which one do you want to use?"
