Chapter 7: …okay, lunch was not normal.

“Sorry,” the guy said. He had on a swampy green hoodie, which reflected his mood well. His hair was brown, combed in the first search result for generic male hair, and his eyes were a similar dark shade.

“Sorry?” Melody lashed out, clearly angered. “Sorry for what?! My state of being? The fact that I’m not some fuckable slut?!”

“Uh…” The guy looked shocked. Can’t say I’m surprised. I reached over and placed my hand on Melody’s left arm, squeezing a little while working my way down to grab her hand and calm her down… unfortunately I also winced a little. I shifted my leg which in turn made my bare lower body touch the chair a little, sending a wave of sensation through me that I forced myself to hide. It was also a little wet. I was dripping… in the middle of a cafeteria… wearing just a skirt… I shook my head at myself.

Simultaneously, the girl across from me spoke, propping her body up as if she was ready to intervene. “He didn’t mean anything by it…”

She was wearing a white knit sweater and had long light brown hair that shimmered a little in the light. Some hair was hanging down the front on her left shoulder while her right was exposed, revealing her sweater.

The other girl, to white sweater’s right and across from sad guy, had a slightly shorter reddish-brown hime cut and golden irises. She was just wearing a loose t-shirt with an abstract panda on the front.

It seemed like Melody had somewhat pushed her problem aside after a few seconds of holding my hand as she redirected to a different question. “What are your names?”

The sweater girl answered first with a slight smile. “I’m Alaya Fraser.”

“Fraser?” Melody inquired. “That logistics company?”

I was lost. I’m afraid I don’t remember much about companies and what not.

Alaya nodded enthusiastically, as if expecting some praise. Melody replied, “Nice to meet you, I’m Melody Celestria, I think we’ve used your company before.”

Celestria… that one I do know of, and clearly everyone else did as well, made apparent by Alaya sitting back down looking a little disappointed.

The Celestria Collective does a whole bunch of everything. I wouldn’t be surprised if the chairs, table, food, and building all had some sort of component from them. They were rich rich and, allegedly, very close to the royal family, likely able to skirt around any laws imposed by local governments.

“Nice to meet you, Miss Celestria.” Alaya nodded politely.

“Call me Mel, please.” Melody shifted her attention to the other girl, with the panda shirt, prompting her to speak.

“Silvia,” she said succinctly. Melody nodded, and turned to the guy, who looked absolutely terrified. “Name?”

“Ah… George.”

Melody turned away and grabbed a small bread oval thingy off of… my plate. Then she raised it and… stuck it in front of my face. “Open.”

I did. My eyes looked around and saw the rest of the table staring at us. Alaya was awkwardly glancing downwards fiddling with her fingers while Silvia watched intensely. It seemed like she was gripped by some thriller movie, and yet… she was watching Melody feed me.

Melody placed the food in my mouth by the time my eyes wandered over to George, who was, much like Alaya, trying to avoid looking. “Eat up.”

I began my chewing. What is wrong with me? At least this wasn’t as humiliating as being naked… Imagine if they saw. Although Melody might have scared them into submission? Silvia though, that stare, those golden eyes just ran through my soul. I wonder… I looked up at her.

She was looking at me, just holding the same stare, examining me.

I looked away again, blushing.

As we all sat there in silence, nibbling away on food, and thankfully Melody didn’t feed me again, Alaya hesitantly began a conversation. “What tier are you guys? I’m a B tier electric blade specialist.”

George went next, after no one had responded for at least thirty seconds. “B tier defensive earth mage, although I have some combat as well.”

Then Silvia went. “A tier recon and agility focus.”

Ah. She’s a professional watcher. Wait… god I hope she doesn’t have any ability to see through things… if she could see that I wasn’t wearing panties… looking at my… vagina… or even if she couldn’t see through everything, just the table would be enough to know I was leaking like crazy.

I looked up at Silvia. She smirked. I really hope… please no. I need to confront her sometime… explain things.

How the fuck do I explain things?!

Ah. Okay. I just need to calm down, observe her, figure out her abilities… Oh shit. She probably saw my heart rate increase. There’s no way a recon A tier can’t see something that basic, right? And maybe she latched on. Now she knows there's something. What do I do???

Melody interrupted my tangent with her tier. “S tier, whips, chains, ropes, nunchucks, anything without a rigid form, really.”

That list totally doesn’t make me concerned… and horny at all. Why did I not ask Melody more questions? I’m not very smart.

“S… tier?” Alaya mumbled out. “Wow.”

Melody poked my side, and I went to introduce myself, realizing I never actually said my name earlier. “I’m Scarlet. Xssss—S tier, support stuff.”

Melody laughed at my speech. How kind. And placed her hand on my leg, pushing it up under my skirt to rest on my thigh. Her hand was nice and warm, but made me exponentially more nervous. I was sitting right beside George! If he glanced down, he’d see. He’d see Melody caressing my thigh, me not fighting it, the puddle of liquid under me, ugh.

Thankfully he was absorbed in eating his food, and I attempted to return to eating my food despite Melody’s warm hand sliding around and squeezing my thigh.

Alaya asked another question, attempting to continue our conversation. “Are you guys going to the orientation Friday?”

“Of course,” Melody replied, inching her hand up higher on my thigh. “Would you three like to sit with Scarlet and me?”

Silvia, surprisingly, butted in. “Can we? Are the sections not divided by tier?”

“They are. But who’s stopping me?” Melody replied, then inched up even higher, now starting to reach the valley connecting my body and legs, and making me completely unable to focus on eating. Her warm hand on my cool skin just felt so good. And then I looked around. The middle of a god damn food court.

I got hornier.

“We’d love to,” Alaya said as Melody inched her hand inwards. She was right above my folds. If she inched just once more, she’d touch them. I’d probably cum instantly. Hell, I’ll probably cum imagining this. I wanted it. I want to cum with everyone watching me. All these people we just met… even Melody is someone I just met… I couldn't hide the embarrassment from my face only for her hand to suddenly withdraw.

“Let me get your numbers.” Melody pulled out her phone and passed it to Alaya while I felt like a dead rock. I felt like she denied me… she didn’t even touch me there yet! How am I so sensitive?! The situation… the food court… all the wandering eyes… all the wondering if someone saw, even just a little peek. I wanted to masturbate so bad. I just wanted to go back to my room and rub rub rub rub… hell, I want to rub right here.

Melody’s phone made it back to her with three new contacts. “I’ll set up a group chat later.”

The three friends said their goodbyes and left the table, having finished lunch, while Melody turned to me and chuckled. “How do you feel—”

“Denied—”

“About the new friends.” Melody pinched my cheek as I blushed and swatted her away. “Horny, kitty.”

Meanie.

“They’re fine, I guess…” They seem like nice people, although I’m not sure there’s anything special about them. “It was kinda awkward.”

“It’ll be awkward with anyone.” Melody sighed, wiping her face with a napkin. “People in general are awkward.”

“How so?” I asked, intrigued. While I don’t interact much, it's not particularly hard to make friends. I had plenty in high school, although none with quite so much interest overlap when compared to Melody.

“They never understand anything.” Melody, I really don’t know what that means.

“You seemed fine back in our dorm building, with Clay,” I countered despite my confusion.

“Clay’s the same social class.” Melody shook her head and sighed again. “He doesn’t count, I’ve known him for years.”

That makes no sense. I mean, I guess I see the problem. Melody wants more friends, varied friends. Friends outside of her sphere of influence. Maybe she doesn’t want to be respected or something? I saw how quickly Alaya switched over her speech. She has me though. “You’re fine with me. I’m not from any rich family.”

“Really?” Melody smirked at me. “You really think you’re a good comparison, X tier kitty?”

Okay, maybe not. X tier… submissive… I’m really not normal at all, am I? “What about the other people in our dorm, do you know them?”

“They’re all rich. Of course I do.” Melody stood up and grabbed her plate.

Being a high tier does make you rich I guess. Although… then they shouldn’t have known Melody already? Rich is supposed to come after, right?

“We should probably leave. We need to go shopping for some skirts.” Melody said as she searched around for a place to dispose of the plates. She found a stack a few feet away and walked over.

I carefully held my skirt while I stood up, ensuring it was nice and smooth and proper to hide everything, then followed and we set our plates on a stack at a little garbage/disposal/tray/plate island.

We left the food court and continued our walk in silence until we finally made it back to the dorms. This time, we went toward the parking lot where Melody’s car was. She pulled out a key and clicked, drawing my attention toward the now unlocked car.

Unsurprisingly, now that I knew who she was, it was a sports car of some kind. The vehicle was painted a light blue and was completely matte, giving it a pastel feel. Melody led me around to the passenger door and pulled it open. I slid in and she closed it behind me.

Once she had entered from the driver's side, the left side, she turned on the car, then, without looking at me, ended the strange silence we had after the strange lunch conversation. “Take a look at your stats.”
