Chapter 4: Proving my submission…

Melody stood in front of me as I glanced away from my system window and into her eyes. Her face was painted with a subtle smile, looking far too friendly for what she had just suggested.

Did I want her as an owner?

I mean, she is pretty cute, sure, but I don’t really know her yet. BDSysteM, can I change owners in the future, like if we end up hating each other or something?

Yes, but the system will reset everything to the state it was in before you accepted the owner.

That’s terrible. However, I can’t do anything without an owner, so is that really a downside? As long as I’m not locked in, it's probably fine. And I mean…

I looked back at Melody’s dominating gaze, and couldn’t resist my horniness. “Yes, please.”

She smirked, then her gaze unfocused, like she was looking at a system window, which she promptly confirmed. “It appears your system doesn’t like you very much. This is fascinating…”

“I never imagined there was a system like this, I guess that’s X tier,” Melody said before a sudden shift in tone as she commanded, “Now, sit.”

For some reason… I got off the couch and sat right where her hand had pointed, a couple feet in front of her still-standing figure. The low position let me stare up at her medium-sized breasts loosely supported by her partially unbuttoned blouse and gave me a better view of her legs, which were dressed in white thigh-high socks. I could see the outline of her toes as they stretched the fabric thin.

She slowly raised her left leg and stretched her foot forward a little, pointing her toes at my face, still maintaining her gorgeous commanding expression as I struggled to look at her instead of her feet.

And the quest was updated. She didn’t even need to command me, before she started speaking I had already gotten off my knees and reached up her leg, hooking my fingers into the band, as she swatted my hands away, giggling.

“Let me speak first,” she laughed and had to place her leg back down for balance as my heart pounded against my chest. What the hell did I just do? I was reaching up to take her… socks off. Agh! What the frick? And why am I so horny… so willing to become a slave, begging for attention and favor.

I sat back down and stared down at my legs, imagining what would happen if someone walked in on us, saw me like this. What would they say? What would they do? The strongest in the academy, sitting below Melody’s feet, obeying her commands… Meanwhile, Melody calmed down her laughing, and switched back to her sultry tone. “Now… take it off, slowly, with one hand. Patience is key.”

I reached back up, but now entirely out of the blissful immersive state that compelled me earlier, and fully aware of my ridiculousness. I slowly extended my right hand, hooking it under the sock’s elastic band, pushing the back of my fingers against her smooth skin, and tugging down. I needed to shift around her leg constantly to slowly wiggle the sock down as the fabric clung to her.

As I worked the sock down I started sweating as I revealed more and more of her precious skin. I was doing this with someone I met minutes ago, and I was enjoying it. How much of a slut am I? I couldn’t stop imagining her hands swatting me away again, not because I was impatient, but because I’m not worthy of touching her, a mere pest to a goddess.

I had finally dragged the sock all the way down to her foot, and now had to work to get it over her ankle, which required even slower tugs and rotations to make sure I didn’t pull too hard and cause Melody discomfort, while also still getting the sock off. At the same time, the smell became noticeable. As I started tugging around her foot, a stale odor redolent of a new book, enticing me to delve deeper, wafted my face.

After a handful of rotations, I felt all the tension in the sock release, and pulled it off in one last tug, revealing her foot with pristine toenails while a puff of her scent blew at me, overloading my senses. I felt my entire body tense up and slowed my breathing to counter the thrill that raced through me.

I peeled my eyes off her foot and glanced back up toward her leering face. “Make sure you let me command you this time, silly pet.”

As I read the quest, I knew Melody could see my lustful eyes. I was filled with need only exacerbated by the situation's context. It was insane. I met her minutes ago. I’m such a slut. A horny slut, and yet I keep going. I want her. I need her.

“Lick,” Melody commanded, and I felt as if a bucket of ice had just been poured on me, momentarily clearing my thoughts, only for imaginary shivers to begin seconds later from the pervasive cold feeling, which just made me hornier.

I leaned forward and stuck out my tongue…

Then… in such an intimate place…

I licked her big toe.

I immediately pulled back and laid my body flat on the floor, minus my knees, since if I extended them I would invade Melody’s space, and collapsed. All I could think about was that little taste, the salty sweetness of her sweat, that smooth skin, somehow entirely free from calluses, the perfectly cut nail, just barely scraping the top of my tongue as I ended my lick.

As I lay, I could hear Melody giggling and she dropped down into a squat with her hands placed on my feet. “You’re so cute, Scarlet.”

“You’re so…” I breathed out, “hot, Melody.”

“Melody?” she queried, leaning her head over my knees. “I think it’s Mistress now, Scarlet.”

“I think it’s pet now, Mistress,” I retorted immediately, and just as quickly covered my face with my hands. “I can’t believe I just said that.”

“I can’t either, pet,” Melody said, dragging the last word out as she pulled my hands away from my face, revealing that she had leaned even further over me. “I think we should test out your system now.”

“Yeah…”

Melody stood back up and sat back down on the couch. I followed shortly after and as I sat up I was all too aware that Melody’s sock was still laying on the ground beside me where I had dropped it. I ended up grabbing it as I stood and then sat back down on the couch, tossing it onto Melody’s lap. “Here.”

Melody picked up the sock and sniffed it, her face scrunching up, then tossed it across the room. “How can you possibly like this?”

She reached down to her legs and pulled off her other thigh-high sock, also tossing it across the room. Then she lifted her feet onto the couch and laid them across my lap, much to my delight. I placed my arms on top of them and we began our discussion.

“Well, I’m able to grant you one ability,” Melody started. “Every submission tier unlocks something, but I can’t see what, except for the first tier we just unlocked. We’ve got a choice to make…”

Status Share from Melody

Please select one unlock for your pet.

Note: This selection must be discussed with your pet unless they choose to forfeit this requirement.

Core Ability: Heal (Level 1)

Pet can heal Mistress by sacrificing vitality, which is restored immediately upon exiting a combat zone.

When not in a combat zone, health consumption is replaced with mana and pet is able to heal themselves.

Note: Consumes a “pseudo health” that applies a multiplier to most of pet's stats, will not actually lower pet’s health.

Ratio of health healed to health lost:

2 : 1

Static health loss speed:

0.1 health per second

Minimum health:

25% of pet’s max or 50% of Mistress’ current, whichever is lower.

Core Ability: Strengthen (Level 1)

Pet can strengthen Mistress by placing themselves in danger.

All outgoing damage is multiplied by pet’s fear factor, which will be added to the status screen.

Note: A pet can be fearful without being placed in danger, protection must simply be hidden.

Multiplies Mistress’ strength by a value of up to 3.0x when fear factor reaches 10.

The following unlock will automatically be added to your pet upon selection of one of the above.

Core Ability: Safe Word (Max Level)

Immediately cancels all abilities, ensures pet’s safety by creating an indestructible barrier. Permission from pet is needed for anyone to enter, including Mistress.

Barrier consumes mana at a rate of 0.05 per second per protectee.

If out of mana, lowers mana max at a rate of 0.01 per second per protectee.

This ability cannot be blocked by any form of mind control, system disturbance, spatial ability, zone effects, void catalyst, or artifact.

“Any preference, pet?” Melody said. “Are you a masochist kitty or a scaredy cat?”

“Both.”
