Chapter 246: An Unexpected Foe
-----
“{Continuous Assault}!”
Combining raw physical strength, Mana, and Ki together with his Skills and the Techniques Juan learned, he rushed towards two more UFOs, piercing through them as if they were made of paper.
BOOOM! BOOOM!
Juan’s muscular, burly body was sweating as he glanced at the result of his efforts, flabbergasted with his own strength… He was currently almost completely bare-chested, wearing stat-boosting and strength-multiplying armor around his arms and shoulders.
He had gone through excruciating and painful training sessions where he thought for a moment that Katherine was enjoying seeing him struggle. But despite that, she made of him a man, an incredible man at that.
A man that, if he walked through Murim, would be known as a terrifying savage and berserk, a Weapon Master!
A combination of pure raw muscle and weapon techniques, Weapon Masters are advanced Immortal Cultivators who have ascended after mastering every weapon.
Highly feared and respected, they walk the path of violence and destruction.
“Hell yeah, Juan! Go for it!”
Ruby celebrated as she saw Juan unleash his true prowess. She had seen what he went through, and she had also partially gone through a similar training herself as well, but every time she saw the huge man he had become, she felt very thankful to her sister…
“We shouldn’t be slacking either, Kitty! Let’s go!”
“Mereow!”
The Doppelcat followed Ruby anywhere she went, as the three family members began rapidly protecting the skies from the invading Saurians, who were completely unable to stop them.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
With barely a few handfuls of spaceships left from the over thirty that had come to destroy the country, the Saurians were quickly cornered. Unable to fulfill their mission, they were growing desperate.
“Looks like this is as far as you bastards go! Now go back to where you came from! Or do you want to die?”
Ruby threatened the Saurians, huge, humanoid dinosaurs that were at least three times her size, burly and scaled, fearless creatures… And yet they trembled in horror as they heard her voice reverberate through the skies.
The spaceships began to fall back slowly as Ruby smiled confidently.
“Heh, alright! I think I got—"
“You’ve got a lot of guts, girl. But that won’t be enough to face against my Master, let alone me.”
“Huh?”
Ruby suddenly heard the voice of a woman right behind her, glancing to find a huge, over two meters tall amazoness with long brown hair and sharp blue eyes, alongside slightly tanned, white skin.
Her beautiful, flawless facial features, combined with her muscular body while wearing skin-tight clothes and golden armor, as she held a mythical shield and a legendary-looking sword, quickly showed Ruby that this wasn’t an average woman…
“W-Who are you?”
“…”
CLAAASH!
The woman only answered by kicking Ruby in the chest, sending her flying down before Ruby could even react to what was happening.
“Ugh?! Agh! W-What the…?!”
As she fell, she saw the woman rapidly descend, easily floating through the skies and then catching up to her. Using her golden sword, she infused it with a strange, yellow and red aura until the sword turned as red as blood itself.
FLUOSH!
“In the name of my Lord, I shall decapitate you!”
She swung her sword towards Ruby’s neck as Ruby gritted her teeth, quickly spinning in midair and using her two blazing katanas to parry the incoming blow, unleashing a powerful technique within that split second.
“[Space Tearing Black Star Swordsmanship]: {Shadow Repulse}!”
CRAAASH!
An explosion of darkness and blood-red energy exploded as Ruby was sent flying away due to the massive amount of power that was reflected, and yet the woman in front of her remained unscathed!
“T-That bitch didn’t even move?! Wait, who the hell is she anyway?!”
As she fell, the woman quickly chased her down, rushing towards her and quickly taking out a golden-colored lasso with red crystals attached to it, glowing bright red.
“Lasso of Punishment!”
As she roared, the lasso moved on its own, rapidly rushing towards Ruby like a snake! Ruby desperately called for her Doppelcat, appearing by her side and parrying the incoming attack together with her.
CRAAASH! CRAAASH!
The lasso was pushed back, yet it remained unscathed; rapidly rushing back towards Ruby and wrapping around her swords, the red crystals began glowing, as her sword suddenly started growing weaker, the black flames beginning to disappear.
“W-What the hell is this weapon?!”
“One of the many Divine Relics I was trusted with by my mother. Weapons once wielded by my Mythical Ancestor, the God of War Ares.”
“What?!”
As Ruby was trying to even process what she heard from the woman that had come to kill her, the muscular and tall amazoness overflowed with a power that rapidly strengthened her bones and muscles, her blood-red sword rushing down like a guillotine, every time almost cutting her in half.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
“You’re fast enough to evade the Sword of Judgement; you’re a commendable warrior, to say the least. Let’s see if you can actually go further than this!”
The woman rushed forward, kicking Ruby with her long, muscular legs. Ruby conjured her Abyssal Shields to defend, each shield exploding into black smoke as she was hit constantly.
“Aahh, dammit! Kitty! Behind me! Let’s do a Dual Dance!”
As she roared, the kitty went behind her, copying her once more and sticking to her back; Ruby’s eyes shone brightly.
“[Space Tearing Black Star Swordsmanship]: {Abyssal Dual Dance}!”
“Hmm?!”
The amazoness gasped as Ruby suddenly changed in an instant, charging towards her while constantly spinning around like a ballerina, using the dancing techniques she learned when she was a little girl learning ballet, combining this with her own swordsmanship.
The result? A constant, never-ending assault of attacks without any rest and without any openings! The woman was quickly pushed back, as the Primal Power flowing through her helped her keep up and defend with her sword and shield but could simply not retaliate.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
“A commendable effort, but simply not enough.”
She quickly leaped in the air and then rushed upwards, as Ruby managed to deal some damage, as she noticed her arms and legs covered in bruises.
“Yeah, you managed to escape that, but can you escape this?!”
As Ruby smiled, she unleashed the power of her abilities; each slashing wound on her foe blazed with black flames, encompassing her completely and releasing tiny explosions!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
“UGH?!”
Each small explosion opened and worsened the small wounds, making these wounds, which the amazoness believed to be small, become more dangerous, all of them bleeding constantly.
“A wicked technique, that’s for sure!”
FLASH!
However, she didn’t give up. Moving as quickly as before, she reached Ruby, kicking her face, then slamming her stomach with her shield, and then catching her up in midair with her sword, thrust into her chest!
“But this is as far as you go, girl!”
“S-She’s too fast!”
Ruby gritted her teeth as she quickly put another Abyssal Shield in front of her, but this one immediately exploded into black smoke, the divine sword rushing towards her chest.
CLAAANK!
And yet, it ended hitting metal and not flesh; Ruby’s eyes widened, seeing a huge, muscular man catch the Amazonian woman’s sword, the woman twice as big as he was. Despite all his growth, he had to employ all twelve weapons to resist her gigantic blade.
“Juan!”
“Ruby! Are you okay?! I came as quickly as possible, but those damn reptilians wouldn’t let me get to you!”
“I’m fine, but watch out; she’s insanely strong!”
“I-I can tell—UGH!”
CRAAASH!
The Amazonian didn’t let the man push her around, quickly exerting even more brutal strength and pushing Juan and Ruby away with a powerful shockwave.
“A man as strong as him is quite rare, but one capable of holding up against me, even more.” The woman smiled. “There is only a single man that can go against me, and he is Galaxy Man. Unless you’re as strong as he is… Don’t expect the descendant of Ares to struggle against mere mortals.”
“How is she so damn strong? Is she as strong as an Immortal then?” Wondered Juan.
“No way! We are already at peak Immortal Physique; that bitch’s at least above that…!” Ruby muttered.
“Now fight and struggle!”
The Amazonian didn’t even let them continue talking, appearing in front of the two and swinging her giant sword against them, a blood-red aura exerting from it.
“Sword of Judgement! Bloodstained Battlefield!”
Her Aura erupted, expanding everywhere. Juan and Ruby suddenly saw for a moment thousands of female soldiers appear around her, attacking alongside her!
“What the…?!”
“Watch out!”
The couple fought together, clashing against constant attacks from almost every angle! They were struggling, unleashing their techniques desperately while pushing the woman back by barely a few meters.
Only for her to unleash her power once more and push them back again and again…
“What’s going on over there?!”
Elena quickly caught up to what was happening, rushing to help her daughter and her son-in-law.
“Wait, that’s… My daughter told me about her…!”
She remembered one time her daughter told her about these weird “superheroes” that had appeared from another timeline gate.
“That one must be the one she called “Marvelous Woman”!”
