“So you’re letting me possess you?! Hahaha! Fool!”
The Spider Goddess rushed towards Orion. Her ethereal body resembled a gigantic purple and black cloud. Using this ability, she entered his body and “possessed him”.
Through that, she saw through his memories and life, and even his own thoughts!
“Not only did I secure such a strong body, now let’s see all your lies, human—Ah?!”
She gasped in disbelief, however, as the memories completely matched! Not only that, but…
“I just want her to be happy…”
“I know she has suffered a lot; I want her to smile for once.”
“I don’t want to lose you again.”
“She has such beautiful eyes…”
“Her exoskeleton is so smooth; I want to gently caress it. Will she one day let me touch it?”
“Her long hair is beautiful and silky; I want to groom her hair gently.”
“I wonder what food she likes the most…”
“I want to learn more about her.”
All these thoughts filled her mind as she grew constantly more and more flustered. Nobody in her long life as an evil spider goddess has seen her as something else than just an ugly spider monster.
Even her own worshipers saw her as one, despite their lies; they feared her and never ever saw her as something else… And well, it wasn’t as if she ever worked to make them see her differently.
And yet, he did, this young man, who came from a future where she even raised him…
“See? I wasn’t lying,” he said, speaking through his mouth.
“W-Wait, I can’t… control you?” She was also surprised she couldn’t do much on his body at all.
“Haha, of course not,” Orion smiled gently, giggling. “So, what do you think now? Do you believe me?”
FLUOSH!
Her Divine Soul escaped his body as she went back to her previous Arachne-like appearance, glaring at him with anger, although her face was now red in embarrassment.
“Y-You…! You idiot! Y-You dare try to… C-Charm a goddess s-such as myself? Hmph! A-As if I would ever fall… for someone like y-you!”
She was incredibly inexperienced at dealing with love, stuttering constantly, which was rather unbefitting for someone like her.
“Oh, you saw more than my memories, huh?” Orion wondered. “That’s not really good… Ah, I feel slightly embarrassed now. I was planning to tell you about my feelings much later…”
Orion scratched his head, growing redder in embarrassment, as the Goddess glanced at him… Now that she knew he was being genuine and that his love for her was real, she only grew more flustered.
Even more now, as she started to see him better, his appearance, even his clothes, everything about him was… Way too attractive! And at the same time made her angry because it reminded her of the woman that humiliated her before.
“You’re that woman’s son...” She muttered.
“Yeah…” Orion said. “But as you saw, I am not going to affiliate with her… For now at least.”
“…” She glared at him with her eight suspicious eyes but could tell he was telling the truth as well. “V-Very well, I-I accept your… offerings! And… we might… share it! Just this once, okay?!”
“R-Really?!” Orion became really happy. “Thank you. Then let me butcher and separate the materials. It’ll take a minute.”
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
“…”
The spider glanced at the young man swinging his sword expertly, slicing through the gigantic, titanic being and reducing it into countless separate parts, which he then imbued into dozens of floating bubbles using his Aura.
“It’s done. We can cook the meat… Or do you prefer it raw?” Orion asked with a gentlemanly smile. “About the materials, we can do two things… You can let me refine them into an elixir for your soul’s growth, or you can absorb them directly. What do you prefer?”
“U-Uh…” The goddess grew redder for some reason, looking down in embarrassment. “I… I’ll absorb it; you don’t need to do all that…”
“Alright then, here,” Orion fused all the material bubbles and compressed them into a single, very small bubble. “You can eat this directly.”
“Ooh… H-How can you do such a thing?” She grabbed the bubble and absorbed it. “Hmm?!”
FLUOSH!
Her Aura grew stronger, and her soul was also healed further; the energies of this creature were more immense than she ever imagined.
She felt relieved; the constant aching she felt in her soul was at least gone, and it was beginning to heal for good now!
“T-This is incredible! My soul doesn’t hurt anymore?!” She was surprised. “Y-You’re really helping me… It is such a strange thing to be helped...”
“You helped me a lot from the future I came from; consider this me paying back that favor,” Orion said. “And I’m glad I could see your beautiful smile.”
As he spoke with honesty, his handsome face, his beautiful eyes, and his long, glistening hair made the goddess gulp down saliva.
“Ugh…” She looked elsewhere, as if she didn’t want to see him in the face anymore. “Let’s cook the meat inside my nest…”
She flew down, grabbing Orion with one of her spider legs that had sharp claws on it, dragging him along as if he were her property now.
“Oh?”
He was a bit surprised but didn’t mind being treated like this by her, going along with whatever she wanted.
Once inside, Orion quickly transformed an area into a beautiful kitchen using his abilities and then started cooking a gigantic Whaleslime steak with sauce made using the fruits he picked.
The smell was heavenly, making the Arachnid gather outside the kitchen to see what was being cooked.
“Smells good?” Orion asked with a cute smile, as the goddess by his side was glancing very seriously at the meat while almost beginning to drool.
“I-It’s an interesting meat… Nobody had ever offered me such high-quality meat before…” She muttered. “Will it help my soul recover faster?”
“Of course,” Orion nodded. “I can guarantee that. Oh, this steak is ready. Here.”
Orion charmingly served her a huge grilled steak, covered with a sweet, citric sauce. He even put a fork, knife, and spoon, but the woman grabbed the plate and opened her mouth wide, eating the whole piece of meat instantly.
“Hmm… Nom… Hmm! So good!” She said happily, licking her lips. “I-I’ve never eaten something so delicious before! Make me more! I want more now!”
“On it! There are three more in the way.” Orion waved his hand as three more plates of meat appeared in front of her.
“Aaaah! Yummy!” She said uncharacteristically of her, as she ate the three huge steaks, licking the plates after that. “This sweet sauce you add is delectable as well! What is this?!”
“Made of a fruit that grows here, it is also good for the soul,” Orion explained. “Though weaklings die instantly after taking a bite.”
“Hahaha! Who would die from such a thing?!” The Spider goddess laughed loudly, growing used to Orion already. “Make me more! There’s more, right?!”
“As much as you want,” Orion said. “It just makes me happy you’re eating my cooking. I had dreamed of this moment for so long… Please enjoy every bite.”
He quickly served her more and more, making the Spider Goddess so happy she screamed until she ended up eating the whole Whaleslime, filling herself up.
“Haahh… Haahh… S-Such a delicious meal… My head is… spinning around…” She groaned. “W-What’s happening…? I’m tired…”
“You must have eaten too much and ended with an overflow of spiritual energies,” explained Orion. “How about you rest for now?”
“Uugh… I can’t move…” She muttered.
“I’ll bring you to bed,” Orion said, grabbing her and carrying her like a princess.
“W-Wha…?! What do you think you’re doing?!” She cried in embarrassment. “T-This is…! D-Don’t’ treat me like a lady or something! I am a monster! An evil goddess! I am malice incarnated!”
“I know, but you’re also a beautiful lady to me,” Orion nodded, smiling gently as he carried her to her bed, letting her rest there. “There you go…”
“Hmm…” She blushed even more, glancing at him and noticing how close they were. “S-So what are you going to do to me? You’re so much stronger… You could technically get… get your way with me if you wanted…”
“Force my love into you? I would never…” Orion muttered. “Why would I do such a thing? My love is genuine. I wouldn’t do something that would make you upset.”
“E-Eh? Is that so…” She looked a bit disappointed, slightly. “W-Well… Um… It’s not like I could fight back anyway, so…”
“Hmm?” Orion wondered. “Is there something you want me to do for you?”
“A-Aaah! No! Nothing at all! J-Just let me sleep in peace!” She said.
“Alright, good night,” Orion nodded, walking away.
The spider goddess stayed there in silence, hugging a pillow made out of her spiderweb.
Her face was still red, as she was trying to process what she went through just now and what this all meant.
These emotions, these feelings, they were all things she had never gone through before. Always living like a monstrous entity, she never had the chance to experience being a woman.
Even less a woman than one who had a handsome young man taking care of her necessities while cooking her delicious meals and bringing her to bed, no less!
Strange feelings within her, which she hated, began to slowly surge from within her evil dark heart… Feelings she never thought she had, thoughts she never imagined she would go through, and more.
“This is so ridiculous… I feel humiliated, embarrassed, flustered, and more… And yet, why am I happy?!”
