Chapter 237: The Strongest Man Of Earth
Listen While Reading: Hope for the Future
-----
Galaxy Man glanced into the distance with his powerful eyes, enhanced with the power of Solar Radiation Absorption, his alien biology enhanced his senses indefinitely the more he absorbed over a large amount of time continuously. Right now, he had the sight level of a hawk multiplied by approximately one hundred times.
With such precise vision, he glanced as the Dark Storm Dragon was ultimately vanquished, and his existence reduced to a sphere of darkness that then disappeared instantly into nothingness… And they had used a massive machine shaped like a human to defeat him.
“How strange; that machine was able to seal his power but nothing else?” He wondered, his mind and the mind of the Saurian God unified as one. “Could that machine have some special power capable of nullifying his indestructible body?”
As he thought about it, he quickly decided not to care about the details for the moment.
“It doesn’t matter either way; the threat has been eliminated, but another one rises… I shouldn’t confront them on my own. Galaxy Man’s body is immensely strong, but I have no idea what tricks those beings could have…”
Galaxy Man kicked the empty air and rushed into the skies as quickly as he could, flying without using any technique, magic, or ability other than his own alien biology ability to float. This works because Galaxy Man has a special organ that creates a pocket center of gravity within his body, allowing him to ignore gravity around him and float unhindered within areas with strong gravity, such as planet surfaces or around stars, while also releasing shockwaves of solar power to move across the sky.
“The spaceship is now descending; it seems that a full-on invasion is ongoing…” Galaxy Man thought. “Nightman, Jade Star, and Marvelous Woman are not here… Did they die? I never bothered to check.”
He glanced around but couldn’t find their life signals, so he decided to ditch them for the moment. If the Saurian god wasn’t telling him their locations, they were likely dead or unconscious.
“Well, whatever. If they died, that’s because they were weaklings.”
Unhindered by his sense of morality, Galaxy Man had no qualms about abandoning his previous friends, reaching the skies above the planet and glancing at the gigantic mothership descending with a proud smile.
There were thousands of other spaceships around it, with enough power to conquer the entire planet with ease. The technological power of Saurians was simply otherworldly, beings that came from a primal version of Earth that, instead of humans, advanced technologically to the point of colonizing the Moon and Mars, leaving behind Earth.
“That planet had been left behind due to all its savage inhabitants and also lack of resources…” He smiled. “But this planet, full of weaklings and overflowing with precious alien resources, is just perfect. A new Era is beginning, and those that stand in the way of Saurians shall perish.”
As Galaxy Man smiled proudly as he saw the Mothership descend, he noticed something; it was small at first, but it was a flickering light of gold and silver color that slowly ascended from the planet into the stratosphere.
It was so small and insignificant compared to the rest of the mothership and the other spaceships that he didn’t care at first, and yet, the light continued rushing towards the mothership until it stopped.
“Who is that?”
His eyes quickly enhanced his vision, and rapidly he found who it was; from a distance of thousands of kilometers, he quickly discerned its appearance.
The origin of this mysterious aura.
“Huh? A human?”
What he saw was a human, or a human-like living being. It strangely resembled that woman that had been protecting this planet.
And yet it was a male, with long hair similar to hers, but with wolf-like tail and ears, sharp and long claws, beast-like rainbow eyes that suddenly turned completely red, and wearing golden, silver, and white robes around his body.
He was holding a sword with his right hand, which was overflowing with an aura of black and white light, constantly waving and blazing like flames.
“…”
He glanced at the mothership and the thousands of spaceships with anger, showing his teeth, with sharp fangs; his hair suddenly turned spiky, growing longer, and white fur grew over his arms and legs as he became more beastly and wolf-like.
“This world is mine to protect… I will not let trash like you even enter its atmosphere…”
His aura continued growing stronger as hundreds of massive wolves made of his ethereal energies materialized from it, howling ferociously.
Despite being in the middle of space, his voice could be heard loud and clear, against all logic or even the laws of physics.
RUMBLE!
His Aura only grew stronger and stronger…
“Who is that guy?!”
The Saurian God, possessing Martial Man, glared down at the human opposing his fleet.
“W-We’ve been monitoring the entire planet, and there aren’t any records of such a man appearing before, my lord!”
Bloodclaw was in shambles; she didn’t know who this mysterious man was either.
“Tch, he might seem strong, but he’s a puny little being in front of our fleet… I have no time to deal with this; blast him into smithereens! Laser Cannons, fire!”
With his command, thousands of spaceships pointed their laser cannons at the young man, firing hundreds of massive laser beams of blue color against him.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Hundreds of explosions engulfed him constantly; the beams never stopped hitting him for almost half a minute, and yet…
As they finally stopped, his body appeared there, completely unscathed.
“…Weak.”
“Impossible…!” Bloodclaw screamed. “T-That attack could even destroy an entire planet!”
“W-Who is this guy?!” The Saurian God raged. “I’ll have to take things on my own amends again?! Dammit, I’ll have to—”
“Begone, trash.”
The young man glared at the entire fleet of spaceships with utter hatred as his blade glowed with the light of Yin and Yang combined together, creating perfect harmony.
SLAAAASH!
And then he swung his blade horizontally towards his left; at first, a flash of light came out of his blade, but they saw nothing else appear or come, just a surprise.
“Huh?”
“Nothing?”
“Was that bluffing?”
The pilots of the various spaceships didn’t understand what happened, some of them thinking the young man before them was some sort of lunatic thinking he could cut all of them with a tiny blade.
And yet…
“G-Gugh?”
One of the Saurians noticed his head was bleeding, until his eyes widened, and a sharp pain made him vomit blood, his entire body exploding into pieces.
“Hey, what the—ACK!”
The rest of the fleet within that spaceship all were sliced into hundreds of pieces, and their spaceship revealed many slices, exploding.
This was followed by dozens of spaceships exploding, then hundreds, and then thousands, one after another, without end.
BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM! BOOOM!
“A-Aaah…?! W-What?!”
The Saurian God and Bloodclaw, both had almost the same reaction, their eyes widening as they lost communication with thousands of spaceships at once.
The green dots in their map quickly turned red one after another, the explosions never stopped, and their giant mothership was surrounded by beautiful fireworks!
“Utterly pathetic and weak… Did you actually expect to invade my planet?”
The young man mocked them even more, glancing at the mothership in the middle of everything, which had yet to be damaged.
“T-That damn brat, what is he thinking?!” Saurian God cried. “Galaxy Man! Take care of him NOW!”
Galaxy Man didn’t hesitate, rushing towards the young man at lightning speed, trying to catch up to him as quickly as he possibly could.
“You will not destroy any more of my master’s fleet—Ah!”
However, his eyes widened; the young man didn’t even glance at him; he swung his blade vertically this time, flying forward at the same time as he slashed the entire mothership with his sword!
SLAAAAAASH!
A gigantic, slashing wave of golden and silver light cut through metal, wires, and Saurian, and ultimately, even though Bloodclaw and the vessel of the Saurian God!
“W-What the…?!”
“Uuaaaaggghh?!”
As the young man floated behind the mothership he had just sliced, he sheathed his sword. His eyes closing as he smiled confidently.
“Burn in hell.”
BOOOOMMM!!!
The mothership exploded into countless pieces, creating such a massive explosion that the people on the surface saw it as if a nuke exploded up in the sky.
Galaxy Man glared at the scene in utter disbelief, his thick eyebrows twitching in disbelief as his face, covered in black by the ashes of the mothership, seemed utterly flabbergasted.
“B-BASTARD!!!”
With a furious roar, Galaxy Man unleashed his full power again, absorbing the endless source of Solar Radiation to gain tremendous power that seemed limitless!
RUMBLE!
He kicked the empty space and reached the young man within a nanosecond, swinging his fists towards him and unleashing a deadly barrage of punches.
BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!
“Hmm.”
However, the young man easily caught each punch with his two fists, blocking them before they could even hit him. Although he only had two arms, it seemed as if he had hundreds of them at the same time.
“Pretty slow. Do you think you can actually fight me head-on?”
“W-Wha…?!”
Galaxy Man couldn’t believe what he was seeing! He desperately twisted his body and spun in midair, kicking the young man with all his force, aiming at the head.
BAAAM!
“Eh?!”
And yet once more, he was stopped by the young man’s hand, holding onto his gigantic, muscular leg as if it were nothing but a twig.
“All muscle, no brain, huh?”
CRACK!
“Ungh?!”
Galaxy Man felt an agonizing pain course through his leg as he saw the young man’s hand dig through his muscles, crushing his bone and tearing his leg apart!
CRASH!
“Uuuaaagh!”
Galaxy Man cried in agony, his chest glowing bright red and yellow as a massive cannon of pure Solar Radiation hit the young man in front of him at full power.
“DIE!”
BOOOMMM!!!
A technique capable of ending even the mightiest of foes once weakened enough, a cannon beam he used to even end a Universal Conqueror!
And yet…
“Pathetic. Are you trying to kill me or to make me laugh?”
He was completely unscathed, undamaged… Not even his damned clothes had received damage at all, glowing beautifully as ever.
“A-Ah?!”
Galaxy Man, and by extension the Will of the Saurian God possessing his body, were both utterly flabbergasted. Martian Man was confirmed dead now, and all his power had pretty much
“T-This can’t be happening…! J-Just who are you?!”
“I am this planet’s guardian, Orion.”
The young man moved forward and then disappeared, teleporting behind Galaxy Man and piercing his heart with his sword from behind.
SLAAASH!
“Ugh?!”
Galaxy Man couldn’t even react in time, and he already saw the sword piercing his vital organ, blood splattering out of his chest constantly.
“AAAAGGGH!”
As he screamed in agony and rage, he swung his fists against Orion, punching his face as much as he could, his chest, everything!
BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM! BAAM!
RUMBLE!
And yet, nothing!
Absolutely no damage at all whatsoever!
“NO…! I DON’T WANT TO DIE! STOP!”
He kept punching and punching, and yet, Orion continued slicing through Galaxy Man’s body; his heart was already sliced, and the bastard was still alive.
So he moved to the lungs, then the head.
“UUAAAGGH!”
All the Solar Radiation was released at once as he tried to disintegrate Orion with his strongest attack, something capable of even knocking out a Reality Warper he had battled before.
“{Solar Burst}!!!”
BOOOOMMMM!!!
A solar explosion equal to the force of a small star exploding erupted in front of Orion, engulfing him completely. This explosion was so strong it distorted the fabric of space, creating a tiny black hole.
“A-Agh…!”
Galaxy Man let out a small voice, as the sword had already cut through his head, dividing his body into two, starting from his chest, blood and organs splattering everywhere.
Even then, there was still some lingering consciousness thanks to the supernatural powers of the Saurian God within him, as tentacles of flesh tried to unify his body together!
“Hmm?” Orion noticed it immediately, glancing back at the corpse. “Well, would you look at that! There were two of you, huh?”
He immediately teleported in front of the corpse and then extended his hand, made completely out of silver and golden light, and pierced Galaxy Man’s soul with it, grabbing it alongside whatever else was possessing him.
“S-Stop! STOP RIGHT NOW! Anything! I’LL GIVE YOU ANYTHING YOU WANT, BUT LET ME GO!”
The ghostly divine soul of the Saurian God, or a part of it, begged for mercy in the hands of the young man as Orion smiled at it, opening his mouth and revealing countless sharp teeth.
CRUNCH!
