Chapter 72 Shadowuser has commissioned three chapters
Slade Wilson was skill-wise probably one of the best fighters in the DC Universe. When he had some way to boost his body to match up with the powerful entities of the universe, he became a weapon of deadly precision.
Because even if Deathstroke was perfectly capable of sending a sword beam off that GodKiller sword at me. He only did so a couple of times before he realized that I could overpower the esoteric energy beams and then he just switched to just tearing me apart in melee with the ever-morphing sword.
"Is your fucking armor made out of Nth metal?" I cursed as my sword made out of my condensed winds only skated across the metal of his armor earning a chuckle from the Terminator.
"You sound jealous Jake... But yes, it is. I have prepared well for this battle, and I am not disappointed so far!" He roared as he teleported behind me and attempted to take off my head with the sword but was instead blasted back as my palm that was at rest at my side shot a cero behind me as people always teleported behind you.
"To be fair I am not either... And I also look forward to looting your corpse of the goodies." I said smiling as my blood boiled at the great fight, as not only could I heal through the God Killer cuts even if it was far more difficult than normal, but I didn't have to hold back at all here in the deep wilderness of wherever we were here on Earth.
Wordlessly we returned to tear each other apart. Countless blades of wind broke against a divine instrument of murder. His physical blows faltered under my own greater strength. Hills, tree's and even the surrounding mountains shattered, crumbled, and melted under the pure ferocity of our shared dance of death.
Even he had his own lesser form of regeneration so any times I could blow aside his arms so I could punch him so hard his innards would break down or likewise if I could get him in a hold to break a limb all such wounds would heal in the course of a minute or two. Nothing to my own regeneration that could heal a cut-off limb altogether in less than ten seconds but still he was able to persist the wounds I did inflict upon him were unable to stack up or anything.
It thus became the dance of death as we sought even as we violently with no sense of grace tore at one another with sword and claw, sought the perfect moment. The perfect second in which his sword could take off my head. Or the perfect moment for me to wrench out his heart as his armor was being peeled off of him piece by piece.
Just because his armor plates were made with Nth metal doesn't mean the straps were...
As we battled fiercely through the air or on the ground, I felt the back of my collar bulge and then I heard Astrid speak to me through the shadow she was filling in my clothes.
"My lord, take a blow to stop him and I will strike through his neck a most deadly blow." She spoke with a deadly intensity in her voice, but I shook my head as I pushed her back into my realm.
This was my proving ground. This was proof that even with Deathstroke's combat skills that beat out mine. I was still able to match such a master of combat and I could stand proudly in this universe without the thought that the only thing that got me here was just blowing people up with Cero's and stuff.
So, our battle dragged on. For several minutes that felt like hours as we moved at speeds that were all but a blur for a human, we did our very best to kill one another until finally, his morphing sword became needle thin and like a wavy string pierced my body and began shredding it internally but in that moment. As Deathstroke locked up as the God Killer sword's sentience took control of his momentum, I stabbed my hand into Slade Wilson's chest and ripped out his heart that was dyed with golden blood streaks from his connection with the God Killer making him stiffen and collapse even with his superhuman form blessed by the Nth metal and Godkiller sword.
I just keeled over vomiting blood and bits of my internal organs as I ripped out the God Killer from my chest as I stared blankly at the ground as I was on my knees with blood and other things covering said knees as I did everything to keep from collapsing onto my face as I met Deathstroke's single eye.
"Not bad kid... Not bad at all..." He spoke gutturally as blood seeped out of the corners of his mask as the speaking obviously aggravated the damage he had taken. "Hey Jake, can you do me a favor?" He asked and I snorted as I could finally feel my mangled heart starting to beat normally after being blended by the razor whip the sword became.
"What... Keep in mind I am still pissed that you stole my kill on Savage, so I won't promise anything." I spoke spitting some blood to the side to clear out my throat.
"My daughter is being held by the Demon Head on his magical island in the name of training my successor, it's why I have been doing the Lights bidding for such cheap prices Haha... I ask when you do kill that undying rat, that you take in my daughter and make her as strong as I was just a bit ago." Slade spoke as he sighed and then tossed the God Killer next to me and he grunted as he willingly relinquished the divine blade to me.
"God Killer won't fight you for ownership. Just free my daughter, you don't even need to train her, but with it, she can be a potent supporter for your Fae Realm... Just settle the score, Jake Barisssss." He hissed before relaxing and I realized the man died... Even with the Nth metal on his body still fortifying him he was but human and a human can't live without a heart that which I had crushed.
For a whole minute, I thoughtlessly and silently stared at Slade Wilson's corpse before I sighed and with as much respect as I could, I removed his mask his 'normal katanna', and took the Nth metal plates to make my own armor or something at some point.
Then with my bare hands, I dug the warrior a grave and made a tombstone for the man as I engraved the words following words upon it along with the date of his death.
-------------Here Lies Slade Wilson. The Terminator. Deathstroke. ----------
--- A noble almost matchless warrior, who with his final breaths asked for the safety of his daughter above all else. Showing that at his core he still had love and care within him. ---
With Slade Wilson's body properly put in his grave along with his hands holding one of his side swords. So, he could get sent to Valhalla as that was the only afterlife that deserved. I opened a Garganta with the Infinity Island as my destination as I held the God Killer sword in my hands feeling its power augmenting my own.
"Let's go kill a false demon and I can see what you can do," I spoke aloud but seemingly in agreement with my words the sword pulsed with warmth as its golden handle molded to fit around and clench onto my hand like a sort of dueling hand guard. that morphed around the hand.
