Chapter 97 Commissioned by Deathknight
After thoroughly venting my venting my frustrations at a demonic realm and probably shattering the core of the realm leaving it to die in the future, I returned home to my own with my fury tamed into a cold simmering displeasure that I could control without issue.
I just sat perched atop the stonelike tree that Hera's peacock landed upon with my spiritual energy roiling under my skin with my eyes closed as I calmed down fully. Though with my energy filling my realm I made it clear to all who approached my realm where I was and pulling any would-be travelers directly in front of me.
With a rustle of feathers upon the sands of Heuco Mundo I heard the soft sounds of wheels softly brushing over the surrounding sands. Opening my now eyes I was able to calmly gaze upon the Goddess Queen of Olympus as she gracefully stepped from her chariot pulled by a dozen large peacocks.
Hera was... Well, she was beautiful in a way all men would desire out of a homely woman. She was voluptuous with large breasts and a curved S figure as her prodigious hips filled out her tight-fitting robe and her facial structure was soft and non-confrontational with her having soft brown eyes that matched her hazelnut brown hair that trailed down to her backside in a reflective curtain.
"Lord of the Unfettered Winds, it's an honor to meet you finally after watching you for so long." Hera bowed her head in respect to me. My eyes tightened in confusion at what she meant by watching me for so long and she recognized that she as smiled softly. "From the very moment you came back to Earth and Wonder Woman bound you in her Lasso, I was made aware of by Hestia who found your soul interesting... Thus, I decided to make a play and had my daughters conceal your fate so others couldn't scry for you and through that."
At Hera's smile, I snorted as honestly it made sense, I was a Vasto Lorde and until I became a Realm Lord the magical community that Batman almost certainly had looked into me should have been able to cuss out some kind of info on me whether it be for the past present or future. But nope nothing could be found of me, and I thought it was just some protection that came from being Isekaied here.
"And through that protection. I became the newest Realm Lord as none could scry the future of my actions in getting the Mundane Egg." I finished for her, and she demurely nodded. "Well... I cannot say I don't appreciate your help as I truly do." I said frowning as I wondered what her game was. I accepted that she truly did do that to help me for whatever reason and thus I acknowledged a debt between us. But now I needed to know what she wanted.
Hera sighed shaking her head before she spoke. "May I simply call you Jake and you call me Hera please?" She asked and I nodded in assent as Hera snapped her fingers, so a throne made out of some kind of dark hardwood grew from the sands of the desert for her to sit upon. "You know I have been talking to my mother Rhea for the last couple of years quite extensively." She continued and I blinked in surprise at that as Rhea was a touchy subject with how she was the wife to the head titan Cronus and also the mother to the majority of the Olympians.
"Thousands of years ago my mother Rhea loved her husband Cronus most sincerely but ever since that prophecy of the sons usurping their father no king of the Olympians has been sane in any terms of the words... Zeus not only ate some of his children and Metis just as his father Cronus did to the Olympians but to say nothing of my situation but Zeus is reaching a breaking point as all his pawns are escaping his control like the Wizard who hands the power of Greek gods to children of all things." Hera said annoyed and I chuckled as I recalled Captain Marvel.
"Captain Marvel is a wonderful hero and wise beyond his years," I said cutting her off.
Hera only raised an eyebrow as she clasped her hands in front of her stomach. "I agree with you Jake as I helped bless Diana when I got past my bias over her being one of Zues's many bastards. But in his view, he merely sees him as a sign of his power being used frivolously especially when the young man doesn't bring glory explicitly to Zeus by shouting his name from the skies as he throws each lightning bolt." Hera said snarking as though repeating something and I could imagine a scene of Zeus bitching in his temple as he watched Captain Marvel go about being a hero.
"Jake through my conversations with my mother Rhea I have come to a conclusion I wish to share with you," Hera spoke after a moment of silence as we digested our thoughts. "I desire the complete collapse of the Zeus Faction of the Greek Pantheon. I honestly desire for there to be no such King as the very word king is a curse upon the Pantheon as not a single one wasn't a deviant monster though I have no plans or particular hatred for Poseidon or Hades despite them both being despotic psychopaths of their own in their realms."
"And what?" I asked smiling sarcastically. "You want me to roll up and kill your husband Zeus. And of course, all the other gods who will desire to stop me from shattering their Pantheon." I asked wryly and Hera paused as she chewed on her thoughts.
Hera sighed as she looked up into the night sky of my realm before she looked back down to me with a sad expression, and I would normally say I didn't buy it for a single fucking second... But I did, as she spoke, I knew her words were as true as they could come.
"You know the myths and history of Zeus correct? Well, what about the horrors that don't make it to history? What about the hundreds of Zeus's children who die before they make a name for themselves? No, the real question is what happens to the history books?" She spoke but I raised a hand to stop her.
"Look... I get it, being married to Zeus is hell. I do believe you that he will come to take over my realm and his... Other objectives and frankly I will kill him or die trying for the attempt but why are you here talking to me as although you are currently in exile, I would be surprised if Zeus didn't have you under constant surveillance." I said and Hera smiled.
"Thats just it. I want to be the Queen of Olympus and should my husband die, I will become the true queen of Olympus. Thats not an empty title and as I said before. I want the Zeus faction of terrible gods and goddesses to be broken upon your knee... Should you accomplish that I will submit to you in all ways, and you will be able to merge the Realm of Mount Olympus into your realm as you take me as a concubine." She said calmly despite the ridiculous words passing through her mouth.
I covered my face as I shook but I couldn't help but break into peals of laughter making Hera frown before I got control over myself. "You," I said pointedly. "Submit to me as a concubine?" I said rhetorically before continuing. "Out of everything you said, that's the only thing I do not believe in the slightest," I said dryly and Hera chuckled as she shrugged.
"Yes, Jake you are quite right... That was a lie of omission, I would honestly accept being your concubine despite my great distaste for it, but I know you and your women well. I would work towards becoming your main wife as I would lose my domain of marriage with how I am setting up my husband for his death so most of my frothing divine jealousy would be lost with it." Hera explained before letting me digest her words before continuing.
"But there is no other way, other than conquest and claiming of the blood of the realm can you merge your new realm with Olympus as your realm is far too young and weak otherwise to swallow Olympus." She said and I nodded as her words were true.
Hera then stood up gracefully before laying her hand on her voluptuous chest. "For countless millennia I have been faithful and honorable to my husband only tripping him up so he could learn to become a better king and person... But after seeing him kill his latest indiscretion to hide it from my displeasure. I like you, after those plant monsters attacked realized the cycle needs to end. And I will cut the cancer from the roots as you did. If you accept my offer, I will show you that very same devotion if you will treat me with respect and not harm any child, I bore you without them betraying you." Hera finished as she climbed back aboard her carriage pulled by car-sized Peacocks.
"Zeus will attack you within the fortnight so be ready Jake Barriss... If you accept my offer hang a ribbon from this tree and I will know you accept and will move to support you, however I can in the battle to come." Hera warned me before snapping the reigns to her ride which had the Peacocks flap out their massive wings and take off into the air.
