Acting Like Yakuza (2)

The greenheads stood up in anger, the middle-aged one even smacking the table in rage.

"What is wrong with you Vincent, what did we ever do to you?" he bellowed with bloodshot eyes.

"Ha, I'm telling you. It's in your best interests to sign the contract as soon as you can, I wouldn't want you nice people to lose any more money you know? I'm a charitable guy aft-"

The man stopped as he noticed Reiji's group, and one of the men behind him leaned in to whisper something in his ear. Whatever he heard, made his face harden as he turned to Baldy and Beardy.

"I'm sorry for not realizing that the Yagami Syndicate had paid a visit. But please stay out of this matter, we are willing to pay ten times the protection fee those fools gave you," Vincent said solemnly.

"Ah, well, that we can't do. We've already accepted the job, and we never leave a job unfinished you see," Baldy grinned, a cold glint in his eye. Vincent frowned at this and took a step forward.

"I understand you have your values, but just so you know, my Tassle Company has placed great importance on this project. That means we are willing to go on a protracted war if necessary. Is it really worth it for the pitiful amount they can give you? We can also ensure that word doesn't get out that you took this job in the first place, so there will be no harm to your reputation," he warned with a determined voice.

The previous greasy tone was nowhere to be found, instead replaced by a sharp and experienced businessman. This made Reiji widen his eyes slightly in appreciation, not expecting him to be more of a mid-boss instead of cannon fodder.

Vincent's claim not only made the greenheads pale in fright and defeat, both Baldy and Beardy also had furrowed brows, not expecting them to be this prepared.

While all of this conversation was happening, Reiji was off to the side on his phone, being ignored by both parties. He was looking up Vincent's information and hissed in surprise on what his search found.

That man was one of the bigger shareholders in the Tassle Company, and this entire project seemed to be his 'baby'. He had put in a lot of resources and time to convince the board to expand to Japan, and this was their first step. No wonder he was taking this so seriously.

'Maybe the reason Greeny transferred in the original game....'

Another tidbit that caught Reiji's eye was that there wasn't a single piece of dirt on him on the internet. Most major businessmen had some scandals or issues, but Vincent was squeaky clean.

This was shocking because of how his behavior was when he entered the store. After thinking for another second, Reiji grinned as a crazy idea popped in his head.

A way to save the store, a way to get himself into trouble with the syndicate, and a way to shut Vincent's annoyingly confident ass up.

He cracked his knuckles as he stood up, his eyes flashing with a psychotic look.

"...I'm sorry Mr Vincent, our syndicate takes our pride very seriously. If a war is what it takes, a war is what you will get. I advise you to go over your options carefully, there are plenty of real estate options that fit your needs," Beardy replied calmly, crossing his arms as he leaned back into his seat.

Vincent's eyes sharpened and he grit his teeth.

"You're making a very big mista-"

"Why are we talking so much Beardy? I thought we were Yakuza, not some fucking lawyers," Reiji cut in with a laugh.

All the attention turned to the young man in a high school uniform who had just stood up from the side. His long black hair and dangling earrings give him an attractive, yet menacing look.

Vincent thought he was just the son of either the store owner or one of the muscly guys, so he had ignored him till now. All three parties in the store stared in confusion at the student who had interrupted, with Baldy and Beardy getting really nervous.

"HAAH? Who is this kid? Shut it before I teac-"

*SMACK*

...

The loud sound reverberated through the silence while Reiji stretched his arms leisurely.

"That felt goooood, WOO!"

"Urghhh!"

Vincent stumbled backwards, falling onto one of his henchmen while clutching his left cheek. He spat out some blood and a tooth rolled out as his eyes swirled with dizziness.

'What just happened? Did I get hit? IS THAT MY TOOTH??'

A thousand thoughts flashed in his mind, none capable of allowing him to stand back up again. As he let go of his face, the entire restaurant saw his bright red cheek.

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? GET HIM!" Vincent yelled at the five guys he had hired, who immediately moved into action at his words.

"SHIT," Baldy yelled as he shot up as well, but they were sitting at the back of the store while the Tassle guys were at the entrance.

Reiji just narrowed his eyes as he watched a massive fist coming closer and closer. He side-stepped very slightly, stepping forward at the same time to give his knee more momentum as he struck forward and into the man's stomach.

As the man had the wind knocked out of him, his arms clenched his belly instinctively which freed up his face. Reiji didn't hesitate for a second, simultaneously elbowing his chin that had fallen slightly forward with insane accuracy, knocking the man out cold.

He didn't have time to celebrate as two more had come up to fight, and they attacked at the same time. Reiji ducked the punch of the right person and jumped to the left, meeting the kick of the other guy head on.

He grabbed his leg, though some of the impact still got through and hurt his ribs. From there he rotated the man by holding on to his leg for dear life and positioned him in such a way that the dude on the right could not get through the small space of the store.

Reiji kicked the guy's other leg, causing him to completely lose balance and fall to the ground, where he was promptly kneed in the face. The man held his bleeding nose and groaned, and Reiji diverted his attention to the guy behind him who saw the opening and lunged forward.

Reiji brushed aside his flailing arm, side-stepped again to the left, and helped the man's momentum by pushing him harder and throwing him straight into the wall. He went head first into the wooden wall, meaning another nose was broken today.

In the same breath, he chopped the back of his neck and knocked out the burly guy and turned back to the one on the floor who was trying to scramble away in fear.

Reiji looked up and saw that Baldy and Beardy had each taken down the remaining two men, signaling the end of the fight.

Vincent shuddered in shock and fear at what had just happened. The entire thing lasted less than 15 seconds, where a guy who looked no older than a teenager had defeated three men who he had specifically hired because of their strength and experience. The other two being beaten by the Yakuza guys was at least believable, but this was too ridiculous for him.

He realized he had to get out of there. Once he got more backup, he'd remove all shackles and completely demolish the store at night.

'Let's see what they'll do then,' he sneered.

"And where do you think you're going Mr. Piggy?"

Vincent froze at the playful voice behind him. He slowly turned to see a grinning Reiji, who had come up right next to him.

"W-wh-what d-do you want to do? I-I'm warning you! You'll regret it if you touch me! The Tassle Company will do everything to take you down if you cross another line," Vincent barked, slowly gaining more confidence as he saw the young man's smile slowly wearing off.

But he froze as he saw the cold glint that had replaced the easygoing grin.

*SMACK*

Vincent tumbled to the ground again, his head spinning in pain and confusion as he clutched his other cheek. Where had it all gone wrong?

Reiji stepped to the door, turned the open sign around so that it showed closed, and then locked it.

"P-please let me go, what are you going to do," Vincent whimpered while he crawled backwards, both cheeks red and swelling. He was terrified of those piercing blue eyes, which somehow had no emotion in them anymore.

"Why are you so scared? Did you do something wrong to be this scared?" Reiji questioned with a deep voice.

"I'm sorry, please don't kill me! I won't go after this store anymore!"

"Kill you? Now why would I do that? That would do me no good, it'll just cause more trouble! Torturing you slowly doesn't sound too bad though...Maybe cut off a few fingers, a toe, hey what about Little Vincent down there?"

If Vincent was scared before, now he was downright terrified. This was the Yakuza. He had heard how far they went sometimes, and he knew this wasn't a complete bluff. Tears started pouring out of his eyes, and a different wet spot grew from his crotch, slowly spreading through his pants.

"Tch tch tch. Did Little Vincent get scared that bad? Don't worry, I won't torture you."

The blonde haired man's eyes brightened slightly but he stiffened again at Reiji's next words.

"No no, I won't torture you. I just thought of something a lot. more. FUN!"
