Chapter 98

I can only sigh and say.

"What do I need to do?"

Amaterasu looks at me and says,

"Nothing. Nothing at the moment. This is a matter of the Gods, and the Gods shall be the ones taking care of this problem. You and Yasaka will not get involved in this matter. At least not yet."

I nod in understanding and say.

"Then I will keep on training."

"Good. I am sorry for involving you in this mess, Ryan. However, we need every person to fix this mess."

"Don't worry about it, Lady Amaterasu. I am happy to help."

She smiles, gets up from her seat, and then walks toward me. I blink a little and am about to get up, but she kisses my forehead before I can. After kissing me, she smiles at me and says,

"I have given you my blessing. Your body will not tire as long as the sun is up. Your body will be more powerful as long as the sun is up. All dark creatures shall fall against your blade as long as the sun is up."

I can feel a warm feeling coursing through my body, and I understand what kind of blessing she gives me. As long as the sun is up, my body will not run out of stamina, and as long as the sun is up, my body will be two times stronger. Lastly, my attack will work better against dark creatures like devils and some youkai.

The last is not really useful because, at the moment, I did not want to fight any devils. As long as they do not cause any problems, I will not kill them, and this blessing is rather lethal against them. I still want to spar against Riser. At least this blessing only affects blade attacks and not all of my attacks.

I kneel on the ground and say.

"Thank you for your blessing, Lady Amaterasu."

She smiles at me and says,

"It is my pleasure, Ryan. To have someone worthy to carry my blessing is something that I want. Look at my brother. He has been smiling like a loon since he saw you using his blessing to beat that dragon."

I look to the side, and true enough, Susanoo's grin is still on his face. I understand why they are proud of what I have done. It shows the world that they are still powerful, as someone they bless has the power to kill a dragon.

After giving my blessing, Amaterasu is back in her seat and says.

"Anyway, while you guys did not need to do anything about the problem in Takamagahara, that doesn't mean I did not have any orders for the two of you. Yasaka."

"Yes, my lady."

"Sent someone to the five clans' territory. Their job is to gather as much information as possible about the metal. Search for any hidden blacksmith or something along that line. We will investigate the one supplying the metal, but we also need to know about the one making all these weapons."

Yasaka nods and says,

"I will do that. Shall I make Nuraihyon involved in this matter, my lady?"

Amaterasu thinks for a few seconds before saying.

"Invite him here. Tell him that I am the one inviting him. The three of us will stay here for another two days. Tell him to come here himself."

"Of course, my lady."

|Nurarihyon – Commander of the East Youkai Faction|

I look around the city and cannot help but release a content sigh. I don't know what that vixen has been doing, but this place has become a kind of heaven for all Youkai. Kyoto has always been the capital of the world of Natural Energy, but it has not always been a good thing.

Natural Energy is wild and cannot be tamed by a normal person. If someone tries to absorb natural energy, they will go crazy if they are not careful, and there will be a lot of accidents when a youkai accidentally absorbs the natural energy.

That is why many Youkai teach their children to make sure not to absorb natural accidents by accident as their first lesson.

However, it happens because natural energy is full of corruption and anger of the planet against any living being. Here? It was pure. It is still not good for absorbing a lot of natural energy, but a little of it will not be a problem in this place.

And the more I walk toward the palace, the more pure and thick the natural energy becomes. Do the gods do this? No. Even they cannot change the natural energy to this point. There must be something else that makes this change happen.

If this happens in Kanto, the youkai under me will not be afraid of losing their child after they accidentally absorb some of the natural energy. The pregnancy rate will increase with them not being afraid, and the youkai faction will finally thrive.

"You are doing it again, grandfather. You start to scheme once again."

I look to the side and see my grandchild sighing. I laugh and pat his head before saying.

"I cannot help it, Riku. As a faction leader, my mind will automatically go into a scheming mode when I see something fresh and exciting."

"Is that so?"

"Hahahaha~ You did not need to worry about it, Riku. You will understand it in the future just like your father."

He will become a great clan head in the future. I only need to make sure he has a future, a great future.

"If you say so. Anyway, we are here. Please behave."

"Bah. I am already this old. Behaving is no longer in my vocabulary."

We walk through the long stairs to the palace, where we can see a pair of Karasu Tengu guarding the gate. I frown a little because the two of them are strong. They are as strong as the assault captain of my clan.

What was that Vixen doing?! The last time I got here, it was not like this.

I take a deep breath and follow the guard to the meeting room. As we get closer to the meeting room, I can feel three presences that dwarf any other youkai in this city or even the entire Japan.

The guard opens the door, and I walk inside the room. After walking inside, I quickly kneel in front of Japan's Three Great Divine Beings.

"Nurarihyon, Commander of the Nura Clan Alliance, has come to your summon, master and mistress."

"Get up, Nurarihyon."

I get up and look at Lady Amaterasu, who looks at me with an intense gaze.

"Nurarihyon, I call you here for a small question."

I cannot help but swallow my saliva at that word. What do I do this time?! I have been a good old man lately!
