Chapter 25

"Ryan…. Is that you?"

I can hear Yasaka's voice.

"That is me, Yasaka."

"Why does your hair become pink?"

"Does it matter?"

"No. Take my daughter to the edge of the village. The other should be trying to break the barrier. Go."

I nodded and quickly ran away to the edge of the barrier. I can already feel them from here. I can see the man try to stop me, but Yasaka blasts him with a powerful fire breath. I continue to run to the general area where I feel Senjutsu User is located.

After a minute of running at full speed, I arrived in front of a group of youkai. I can see a mouse youkai walk forward and say.

"Is that lady Kunou?!"

I nod and say.

"Yes. Can you guys hurry up and take her away? I need help, Yasaka."

"We are trying!"

The dog Youkai, who has a magic circle around her, shouts.

"This barrier is too hard to crack in a few minutes. Give us another three minutes."

I nod, sit on the ground, and let Kunou sleep on my lap as I gather natural energy. I gather the natural energy, purify it, absorb some of it, and give some of it to Kunou so she can recover faster.

I ensure my breathing is steady and continue absorbing the air and the natural energy. I can feel my body enter Sage Mode, and it combines with my Dragon Force Mode. After a few minutes of meditating, I can feel the barrier behind me crack, and when I open my eyes, the Mouse Youkai already stands next to Kunou and me.

"Thank you for the wait."

I nod and give her Kunou.

"Take care of her, okay?"

I am ready to return to Yasaka, but before I can move, the Mouse Youkai grabs my shoulder and says.

"We will come with you."

She gives Kunou to the cow Youkai, and I can see the woman disappear with Kunou. I can still feel them moving from tree to tree like ninjas, knowing that the cow Youkai will take Kunou back to her home.

"Let's go!"

Seven of us run toward the fighting scene, and I can see the enemy is already beaten and on the brink of death. He looks at us and suddenly laughs.

"Perfect! Perfect! Give me your chakra and resurrect our lord!"

He stabs his chest, and a massive magic circle appears underneath him. I can see a string of chakra migrate from the Youkai around me, and they have a hard time moving. Seeing the situation, I appear in front of the man and punch him.

"Sky Dragon's Crushing Fang!"

I rip apart his throat and watch him fall to the ground. However, at the last moment, he laughs and says.

"H-Hail Lord Orochi"

"Shit!"

I jump away from the magic circle underneath him and keep moving away. I land next to Yasaka, who slowly gets up from the ground and looks at the massive, expanding magic circle.

"Run! We need to get away from the magic circle!"

Yasaka shouts, and we take action. We jump away and get away from the magic circle. As we get away from the magic circle, I can see a figure appear from the magic circle. It looks like a serpent, but I can feel the energy it releases. My Dragon Slayer magic is screaming at me to kill that being.

The being in front of me is not a serpent but a dragon, and from the previous word I heard, this must be Yamata no Orochi. However, there is something wrong. This figure only has one head.

"Tch. They manage to revive him."

"Yamata no Orochi, right?"

The Mouse Youkai next to me nods her head and says.

"Yes. It might not be in its full form, but it has the same power as a High-Ranking Dragon."

"Then this will be easy, no? Yasaka is an Ultimate-Rank Being, after all."

"You don't understand. A High-Ranking Dragon is different from a high-ranking being. They are ten times stronger and equal to an Ultimate-Rank Being."

"Shit."

After a few seconds, we can see a dragon fully formed. It has the body of an eastern dragon. It is two hundred meters long and three meters tall. I can see three horns coming out of its head. Two on the sides and one coming out of the middle of its head. I can see venom dripping out of its mouth and blood coming out of its eyes.

(This but with blood running out of its eyes)

The dragon looks to the sky and roars. I cover my ears and see the dragon look at us.

"Ah~ Miko of Amaterasu. It has been a while since I ate one of you. When I eat you, I will recover one of my heads."

The dragon looks at Yasaka and gives her an arrogant smirk. He then looks at me and frowns.

"And a dragon. A hatchling. How cute."

After he says that, Yasaka releases a beam of fire at him. The dragon smirks and releases a purple beam to combat the attack. With Yasaka opening the fight, we also joined the fight. I take a deep breath and shout.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!"

I released a torrent of wind from my mouth and hit the head of the dragon. I also add natural energy to my attack and add more power to it. The others also start to release their attacks to hurt the dragon.

However, instead of focusing on the other, Orochi looks at me and blocks my attack instead of Yasaka. He creates a massive magic circle and flies away. The dragon looks at me and says.

"That is not dragon magic. No… It is more of a Dragon Slayer Magic. You are a dragon slayer."

I did not answer him and was only prepared to release more attacks.

"Good! I like that gaze! Let's fight, Dragon Slayer! Only God can beat me! Let's see if you can be the mortal that can beat me!"

I take a deep breath and release another torrent of wind.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!"

Orochi smirks and releases his own dragon breath. Two forces meet each other and battle for dominance. I boost my attack using my natural energy and overload my attack with Natural Energy.

"Sky Dragon's Blast!"

The torrent of wind pushes a little bit further before exploding. A few seconds later, I can see Orochi laughing at me.

"Good! Good! Keep entertaining me, mortal!"
