Chapter 11

When I open my eyes, I see beautiful orange eyes and the biggest pair of breasts I have ever seen. I, of course, look at them respectfully. I blink for a couple of seconds and sit on what looks like a fluffy bed.

I look around for another second before I hear a shout.

"Big brother!"

I look to the side and see a young girl jump at me. The next thing I know, she hugs my head tightly. I laugh a little and pick her up. I look at her, pouting at me, and let her sit on my lap.

"Hello, there. My name is Ryan. What is your name?"

"My name is Kunou! Big brother is the one helping me!"

I smile at her and pat her head. I can see her pushing her head at my hand, and is that a purring sound that I hear? That is cute.

"Fufufufu~ This is the first time I see her get attached to someone this fast."

"Ah, I'm sorry for ignoring you, my lady."

"No!"

I blink for a second and see her look at me with the same pout her daughter gave me earlier. What with these vixens and their pout? They are too dangerous to be let loose without someone watching over them.

"No?"

"Call me Yasaka! I insist."

I look at her for a few seconds and sigh a little. Seeing no way out, I nod and say.

"Yasaka, then. Please call me Ryan."

"Of course!"

She gives me a bright smile and sits next to me.

"Hey, Ryan~."

"Hmmm?"

"Can I ask a question?"

"Sure. Ask away."

"Can I ask about your magic? If you don't want to talk about it, I don't mind. I will not force you. Magicians are known for their secrecy, after all."

"I don't mind."

I think for a second and decide to give her a half-truth.

"My magic is called [Sky Dragon Magic]. It is a magic that mimics the magic that dragons use. Here."

I open my palm, and a second later, a small whirlwind appears on my palm.

"Can you feel it?"

"Hmmm~ Which one? The feel of pure wind around your palm or the feel of a dragon coming from your magic?"

"Yes."

I can hear her chuckle a little and say.

"I can feel them. I can feel how you conjure a pure element and how your magic smells and feels like a dragon. Only a dragon can conjure pure wind."

I want to ask her the difference between pure wind and regular wind, but I decide not to.

"That is what my magic can do. It mimics a dragon's magic. At the moment, I don't think I can be compared to one, but I will in the future."

"Good. Dragon is a great goal. They are a creature of power that even Gods think twice about fighting. I also hear you have other magic?"

I nod and change my left hand into my Weretiger form. After I change that, I can see Yasaka look at me in a different light. I don't know what it is, but I don't like it. She looks at me as if I'm a piece of meat.

I quickly change back and see the disappointment in her eyes. A couple of seconds later, she looks at me and starts sniffing.

"Pardon me?"

"Hmmm~ Weird. Transformation magic usually leaves a scent of their previous transformation. You did not leave anything behind, however. Can you tell me why?"

"Because this is the more advanced version of Transformation magic."

"Really?"

"Yes. I can't tell you more, but let's say this is two or three more steps ahead of Transformation magic."

I can't tell her that I have the soul of a beast inside me to use for my transformation.

"You're an enigma, Ryan. An enigma I want to solve and keep all for myself."

I shudder at how she said that and only give her a small smile.

"However, we can talk about it later. For now, I want to ask what you will do now?"

"Now? I want to get back home and study. We have a quiz tomorrow."

"Study? With your magic, you can be rich easily, you know? I will pay you five million Yen monthly if you want to work for me. I will give you a personal lab, a house, or a mansion if you want, and other things you have in mind."

"I'm sorry, but I must reject your offer."

"Ara~? Can I ask why? Don't you want to work for me?"

Yasaka gives me a sweet smile while lowering her kimono. I can see her bountiful hill from here. I shake my head and look away at that dangerous honey trap.

"I did not want it, Yasaka. I prefer my peaceful life. I know in the future I will get a lot of attention, but for now, I want to be left alone."

She looks me right in the eyes for a few seconds and sighs.

"Haaaa… I wish I could be like that. Free from politics and people trying to use you for their agenda. That will be a great life."

She releases a tired sigh and says.

"Very well. I will make sure the other does not disturb your peaceful life. However, will you help us if we ask for it?"

"I don't mind helping, but please don't ask me for something small that you guys can fix on your own."

"Of course. You don't need to worry about that."

"Then I will help you when you ask for it."

"Thank you."

She bows at me.

"Please, you don't need to bow at me."

She raises her head and shakes it.

"No. You might not know it; you are an important person to the Youkai faction."

"Me? Important? I'm just one person, you know?"

"One person who can heal anyone."

"Anyone? I only heal humans and youkai so far."

"You can heal all Youkai; the Head Healer already tested it when you told the chancellor you could use healing spells. If you can heal most Youkai, you have a high chance of healing the devil and vampire. Some of us have similar natures. Oni to Devil, Vampire to Kappa."

"Really?"

"Yes. Not many know it, but Kappa needs human blood every now and then to survive. They don't like it, but they must have it. They prefer cucumber to blood."

"Huh."

"Anyway, you are an important… asset, shall we say. That is why I want you as an ally instead of an enemy."

I look her right in the eyes for a few seconds and say.

"You are surprisingly honest. Most people will try and use me without me knowing about it."

She shrugs and says.

"Because I prefer to have an ally than tools. It is more reliable and lasts longer or even forever."

"Fair enough."

I can hear her giggling and getting even closer to me for some reason. I can feel her bountiful hill touch my arm.

"And maybe we can be more than an ally, hmmm?~"

I know it. She is a dangerous person. I can already feel little Ryan screaming for his freedom. Urgh. I need a cold bath.
