Ch 312: Please accept my daughter.
"Noah-kun, please accept my daughter." said Ling Shuren.
Noah raised an eyebrow.
"This is quite surprising, considering you have barely known me for half a day. When you requested a private talk, I was expecting you to order me to stay away from Shuiruo."
"Ah!" snorted Shuren. "I know my daughter well enough not to fall into that pitfall. When she is set on something, she simply won't budge. And she has set her heart on you. Besides, she always had a good eye for people, and I trust her judgment."
"I'm aware of her feelings." nodded Noah. "I feel both happy and flattered. I will of course accept her. I would be a fool not to. Shuiruo is quite exceptional. Almost a goddess among mortals, both in looks and temperament. I'll fall for her in no time."
"Right? I'd like to take credit for it, but I don't actually know how we managed to raise her into such a good girl." replied Shuren with a proud tone. "I will count on you to treat her well, or you will have to answer to me, Demi-God or not."
"Of course." nodded Noah. "And I worked hard previously to gain the right to share my immortality and some of my abilities with my women. Soon, Shuiruo will be immortal, become able to heal others just like I healed you, and it will take something like a bunch of Legions to be a threat to her."
"Immortality?"
"My Goddess doesn't like having to search for new suitable underlings every few decades, so she makes sure she doesn't have to." shrugged Noah. "And after racking up enough achievements in her service, she let me extend it to my girls."
"I do not want to sound greedy, but…"
"Can I make you and your wife immortal, too?" cut in Noah, smiling.
"Well, yes. I know it is shameless to ask, but…"
"I do not mind you asking. But my ability to share is conditional. I can only do it with those who are extremely loyal to me, because the kind of power I share shouldn't be misused. There are ways to artificially induce that loyalty, such as a magic form of hypnosis, but I do not do it for ethical reasons. And if your wife were to reach the required loyalty threshold, if she started feeling more loyal towards me than towards her family, it might endanger your marriage."
"…I see." nodded Shuren. He remained silent for a few seconds, then nodded to himself. "Even if it were to happen, as long as my wife didn't have to die again, I would consider it a price worth paying."
"…Wow." said Noah, impressed. "That's very noble of you. Not every husband would be prepared to go that far for their loved one."
"Then they simply do not love them enough." shrugged Shuren.
"Ask me again in a few years." decided Noah after a few seconds. "I have a good relationship with several other Champions, and they too, are pursuing their own ways to give immortality to the people close to them. Maybe one of them will have a way that will be less problematic for a happily married couple. If not, I will do what is needed. Shuiruo already had to attend yours and your wife's funerals once. I do not want her to go through that again."
"Thank you very much, Noah." smiled Shuren. "Once again, Ruo Ruo proved to have good eyes."
"If there isn't anything else, I need to have a talk with Shuiruo. I want to enlist to Cassell College, and I'd like for her to come as well."
"That institution only recruits people who are Sacred Beasts' descendants or have some kind of supernatural power." frowned Shuren. "Well, there are a few scions of extremely wealthy families as well. Most Chevaliers are alumni from the Cassell College."
Noah nodded. Erica had told him the day before what Chevaliers were. Sacred Beasts' descendants who had been granted some kind of additional blessing allowing them to gain some lesser body strengthening and the ability to summon Legions, just like a Legatus Legionis. But where a true Legatus could summon at least 800 Legions, a relatively talented Chevalier, serving as a high-rank officer in a national army, might summon maybe fifty of them.
"Well, I have plenty of supernatural abilities, and unless your daughter changes her mind about me, she soon will at well." shrugged Noah.
…
Shortly after his discussion with Shuren, Noah went and found Shuiruo. She was chatting with her mother as they planted new flowers in the freshly mowed garden.
"Would you mind if I borrow Shuiruo for a little while?" asked Noah with a smile.
"By all means." grinned Ling Gengxin. "How about you take Ruo Ruo out to eat Ice Cream? It seems it has been a while since she left the house."
"Great idea, thank you for suggesting it!" nodded Noah.
He extended his hand to Shuiruo, who took it with a radiant smile.
"Alright, we're off. We'll be back soon." smiled Noah.
"Take your time, there's no hurry." winked Gengxin.
"I'm quite fond of your parents." smiled Noah. "They're great people."
"They are!" nodded Shuiruo as they walked out of the Ling residence. "I'm so happy that I can see them again!"
Noah nodded, used Promise to search the surroundings, and found an Ice Cream parlor not too far. As they walked, Noah told Shuiruo a few funny anecdotes of his off-world adventures.
The city was now bustling with activity as the evacuation order had been lifted the day before, once the government added two and two together and decided the new Spirit who had taken care not to injure the AST members who shot him wasn't a threat to the general population.
On the way, he suddenly tensed as they crossed path with a girl with long black hair, with longer bangs hiding her left eye. Her right eye was red, and she was dressed in a black summer dress with frills.
The girl gave him a small smile and a short nod as she passed by, and Noah did the same.
Noah wondered why Kurumi Tokisaki was here, but he didn't want to confront a Spirit with a volatile and violent personality like her while Shuiruo was with him, and not in the middle of a busy street.
He would still need to be vigilant about her.
"Do you find that girl that just passed us interesting? She's cute." teased Shuiruo.
"She is but not in the way you're implying." said Noah in a low voice, eyeing the departing Kurumi to be sure she was too far to hear. She whispered in Shuiruo's ear.
"Keep your distance from that one if you meet her again, and do not turn to look at her. She's a Spirit."
"…Oh. And it seems she recognized you as well, since she nodded at you." frowned Shuiruo.
"Let's continue our date, we're almost at the Ice Cream parlor." smiled Noah. "This reminds me, I do not have any cash yet, and I doubt they would take gold or gems as payment."
"It's fine, I have my credit card." nodded Shuiruo before grinning. "So we're on a date, are we?"
"We are. I noticed how you look at me, and you didn't really mind the fact that I'm a pervert. There's no way I'm not going to keep such a gorgeous, tolerant, smart and kind girl by my side. I'm sorry that I can not give you the attention you deserve, Shuiruo, with me already having other girls, but I will go out of my way to make you happy despite this."
"Eheh!" giggled Shuiruo, happy at the praise. "So will you make me your love slave, Master? I'd even be willing to play that game of yours, if you want me to."
"…Let's discuss this when we're back home." nodded Noah. "Before we talk about your potential participation in this game, I think you should wait to see how it goes with Erica and Liliana. Things may be relaxed right now, but the system of double and triple rules means that it will accelerate a lot around the later half, and the two of them may put a significant time constraint on me. I'm not sure it would be really practical to manage three players at the same time."
"I see." nodded Shuiruo, feeling a strange mix of both relief and disappointment at the same time.
"Besides, the intent of that game is to ease them gradually into that lifestyle, to erode their resistance to bondage and stuff. But you do not seem to need it."
"I do." replied Shuiruo. "I want to be by your side, even if for that I must be your slave. But that doesn't mean I am not apprehensive about it."
"I understand." nodded Noah. "I do not know if we'll play that game, or if I will revert to my usual methods, but I promise you we'll make it nice and slow and gradual. And I do not actually require my girls to live a BDSM lifestyle."
"You don't?"
"No." chuckled Noah. "Most of them like having rules to follow because it scratches their itch for submission, or they do things like wearing a chastity belt because they find the loss of control arousing. And in most of those cases, I am entirely guilty of being the one who made them develop a liking for it."
"But there are only two rules I require all of my girls to follow. They need to devote at least a few hours per week doing humanitarian work, and they can't have a romantic or sexual relationship with another man. Hypocritical of me, I'm aware, but that's how it is. At some point soon, I'll make a short trip back home. How about I take you with me, and you can talk with some of my girls, and see how they live?"
"Yes, please. I need to get to know them, if we are going to live together." nodded Shuiruo.
They reached the Ice Cream Parlor and made their order. Shortly after, Noah and Shuiruo were sitting at a table in a corner, facing each other. Noah was savoring his chocolate and mint ice cream, while Shuiruo had chosen strawberry and pistachio.
They didn't talk about slavery and BDSM anymore, as people were close enough to hear, but rather about their personal preferences in movies, music, and so on.
"…And the first two Alien movies are great, but each in their own genre. The first was all about generating anxiety and jump scares, while the second was about action, a squad of marines against dozens of monsters that kept surprising them because the marines kept underestimating them, because they were 'just animals', you see? and…"
"Hey, you!" exclaimed an angry voice behind him, and Noah turned to see a blonde girl with long messy blonde hair, wearing a black tank top with a white lab coat over her shoulders, and green military pants and black leather shoes. She wore a pair of oval glasses, and a second pair of welder's goggles was sitting on the top of her head.
It was a strange combination of clothes and accessories to wear in the middle of a city, but Noah wasn't going to judge.
She pointed angrily at Noah with a finger.
"Hum? Do we know each other?" asked Noah.
"You're the Spirit that destroyed so much of my stuff! Do you have any idea of how much work you gave me? I'll be forced to work the entire weekend because of you!"
The other customers had been listening, and at the mention of the word 'Spirit', many of them panicked, abandoning their ice cream to rush out of the parlor.
"And who might you be?" asked Noah with squinted eyes.
"I am Mildred F Fujimura, the mechanic of the squad whose hardware you trashed!"
"I am Noah Enfield. Great job. You just ruined the owner's afternoon. He should sue you for interference of business." sighed Noah as he stared at the strange girl's companions.
They were dressed in street clothes, but he recognized Origami Tobiichi. The girl with neck-length, silvery-white hair and blue eyes was one of the main female characters and comedic relief of the Date A Live fiction, a kuudere whose face rarely showed any expression, doubled with severe stalkerish tendencies. She had been part of the AST squad he had faced the previous day, but he had been too busy with Liliana and Erica running away to pay much attention to her.
The other two girls standing behind the blonde were also AST pilots he had encountered.
Noah was a tad peeved that his date with Shuiruo was interrupted so crudely, and decided to tease them a little.
He stood, and made a deep bow toward Mildred.
"My humblest apologies, for adding to your workload. Next time, I will take care not to damage the AST members' equipment, and I will target their bodies instead."
Mildred's eyes widened in shock, and she waved her arms in panicked denial.
"No, wait! This isn't what I meant!"
"It was a joke." chuckled Noah, enjoying her over-reaction.
Mildred stopped waving her arms and puffed her cheeks, glaring daggers at him.
"I try to avoid killing people, at least innocent people. As long as the AST doesn't take shots at me, you have nothing to fear from me."
"That is what we thought." nodded the tallest of them, a young woman with black eyes and black hair styled in a ponytail. "I am Ryouko Kusakabe, the commander of the AST. I wanted to thank you for the restraint you showed yesterday. You spared me and my comrades, when we attacked you unprovoked."
"The commander? I am surprised you personally took to the field. Or maybe the AST is smaller than I imagined."
"We are a small outfit, less than thirty people in total." acknowledged Ryouko with a smile. "Which makes the lives of every single one of my subordinates all the more precious to me. I also wanted to ask about your intentions. Are you going to stay in Tengu City?"
"Only for a little while." shrugged Noah. "I intend to enroll into Cassell College for the foreseeable future, so I will be out of your way. Mildred here won't have to worry about me breaking more of your equipment."
"Mmpft!" snorted Mildred, crossing her arms, but her glare lessened.
"Actually, how about I lend her a hand in repairing it, since I am the one who broke it?" said Noah, seeing an opportunity. "I am able to create spare parts with factory-level precision, for example."
"Deal!" suddenly exclaimed Mildred, forestalling Ryouko's objections.
"Well, I suppose it's fine, since you have no interest in stealing a Realizer unit, but I will stay with you to monitor you. I also want to learn more about you. You do not seem to have amnesia, like the Spirits we encountered before."
"My memories are intact, and I don't mind telling you more about me." nodded Noah. "But if I go with you, can I ask one of you to accompany my friend back home?"
Ryouko nodded and turned to Origami.
"Origami, get the lady safely back home."
"Understood." nodded Origami, her face showing neither like nor dislike for having an errand imposed on her.
Noah created in front of them a gold ingot, and walked to the shop owner, who had remained behind, stressed about the possibility of a Spirit wreaking havoc in his place.
"For the inconvenience." apologized Noah.
"No, ah, it's fine, thank you for your patronage!" hurriedly nodded the man, accepting the ingot despite his protests.
"Let's go, then. Our base is close by." said Ryouko.
…
"So, what is it like, being a member of the AST?" asked Shuiruo as they walked.
She was a bit disappointed that her date with Noah had been cut short, but felt happy for him, since he had gotten his opportunity to get a close look at the AST equipment.
"Like being a soldier, but we use more advanced equipment." shrugged Origami. "What is your relationship with that Spirit?"
"He's my savior, and my friend."
"Your savior?"
"I was very sick, to the point that I couldn't even evacuate." replied Shuiruo with a dreamy smile. "Noah found me, and he cured me. He even revitalized my atrophied muscles back to their current state."
"Why did he do it? Spirits are evil existences. If left unchecked, they go in a rampage and slaughter everyone."
Shuiruo stopped walking and stared at Origami, as she thought she felt some emotion in Origami's voice.
"Do you have a personal history with Spirits?"
"…One of them killed both of my parents."
"I see. You have my condolences." nodded Shuiruo with sympathy. "And I understand why you would have negative feelings toward their existence. But Noah isn't actually a Spirit. He has no Angel, and he's a man, although you surely noticed that part."
"He is not?" frowned Origami, tilting her head. "Then he is a Legatus Legionis?"
"He's not that, either. Noah is something entirely different. I'm not sure I can tell you about his abilities without his approval."
Origami nodded, and they resumed their walk.
"This villa is my home, thank you for accompanying me." smiled Shuiruo.
"It's fine, no thanks are necessary." nodded Origami, already turning.
"Wait!" said Shuiruo, taking her smartphone from her jean pocket.
"What is it?"
"Like I said before, I can't tell too much about Noah's abilities without his permission. But, speaking as someone who also lost both of her parents and know how painful it is, it would be in your best interest for you to become close to him. If you're ever in danger, if you strongly desire power, go to him. I can't give you his phone number, but please accept mine, and I will relay a message to him if you ever need help.
Origami hesitated, then nodded, seeing no harm in having another entry in her contacts, and they exchanged numbers.
"Farewell, Origami-san." smiled Shuiruo.
"Likewise. Be careful with him." nodded Origami as she left.
Shuiruo watched her walk away for a few seconds, wondering if she had been right not to mention that second Spirit lurking in the city. She had not wanted to risk triggering a fight if the AST started hunting for her.
Her parting remark with Origami had been an impulsive decision, and she hoped Noah would be willing to humor her. Learning that Origami had lost both parents to a spirit had pulled on her heart strings, and when she thought about the possibility of him reviving them, she started seeing Origami as a potential member for Noah's harem. She was beautiful enough, in her opinion, and her silvery-white hair were signs of having some Sacred Beast lineage.
Shuiruo hoped they would have more opportunities to interact in the future, so she would get to know Origami better and evaluate her suitability.
…
Noah spent nearly five hours helping Mildred, generating parts that weren't too complex to replace the damaged ones, and understanding how Realizers worked from Mildred's explanations. By the end of it, he was confident that he could make golems with Realizers to power energy weapons and give them flight capabilities. With practice, he might even create magitech hybrids using both that technology and customized spell arrays, thanks to his Magician Arcana.
He had told Mildred, Ryouko and the other AST girls curious enough to hang around about himself being the Champion of a Goddess, the Multiverse, and some of his adventures, but hadn't say anything about having a harem, or his intent to eventually take over the world.
It was almost time for dinner when he returned to the Ling residence.
"Welcome back, Noah." smiled Shuiruo, while her parents nodded at him. They had been watching a movie together with Erika in the living room.
"Thank you." nodded Noah.
"Lily, Arianna and Karen are in the kitchen. Dinner is almost ready." said Erica. "How did it go?"
"Very well. I now have a cordial relationship with the AST, and I used the opportunity to request that the Japanese government issue me official ID papers. I will need them to open a bank account and get a credit card. They told me the government would likely accept, as it is in their interest to have a good relationship with independent supernatural actors. Especially the strong ones, and I fall into that category."
"I see." nodded Erica. "I got a reply regarding your request to enroll. The Principal is sending a few examiners tomorrow. The location for the test is the AST's military base. They will verify you have supernatural powers, and give you an initial rank."
"Initial rank?"
"Yes. We have ranks in the college, and they determine how much stipend money and access to the educational resources you'll get."
"I understand. Thank you, Erika." nodded Noah. "Why the AST base, though?"
"It is fortified and well away from civilians since the AST regularly trains with live rounds, and the college has an agreement with all the world's militaries. They'll use the opportunity to test several applicants as well. You won't be the only one. And Lily and I will retake the test to try for a better rank. We're both A-rank, which is great, but being S-rank would be even better."
Noah nodded, thinking that they would surely be promoted at least one rank, once they signed a contract with him. He walked to the kitchen, where Liliana, Karen and Arianna were busy.
"It smells good already. Could you girls use an additional pair of hands?"
Liliana, wearing an apron, turned to him and blushed slightly, no doubt thinking about their kiss. She was so adorable.
"That is very nice of you to ask, Noah-sama, but we have things well handled." smiled Karen. "We will serve dinner in five minutes."
"I see. I look forward to it." smiled Noah as he left.
He climbed the stairs and knocked on the door of Shuiruo's room, and she opened.
"Noah, welcome back."
She opened the door wider and let him in, then closed the door.
"Thank you. Sorry again for cutting things off again earlier. But I benefited from it a lot.
"It is fine. More than fine, really. It allowed me to learn something important about Origami Tobiichi." said Shuiruo with serious eyes. "Tell me, Noah, do you find her cute?"
"Yes. Why are you asking?"
"Then, please take her in your harem."
"…Did you two get along so well that you want her to come part of your extended family?"
"No, its… Both of her parents were killed by a Spirit, and I empathize with her a lot. And when I thought about your ability seriously, I realized that it would be a huge bother if it became public knowledge. You would be harassed by desperate people constantly. But if that girl was part of your harem, to make sure she doesn't talk about it…"
"If the opportunity arise…" nodded Noah, not telling her that he would make sure the opportunity came, one way or another.
"Yes. Thank you, Noah. Although I first want to make sure she isn't actually a bad person, but I have a good feeling about her."
"We'll see how it goes." shrugged Noah. "But there is something else I need to speak about."
"About the game?" smiled Shuiruo.
"No. I do not know if Erica told you, but people from the Cassell College are coming tomorrow to test several people, myself included."
"I know." nodded Shuiruo with a sad sigh. "That mean we'll part way for some time, right? Will you come back to visit when you can?"
"I was rather planning to have you follow us. You had to drop out from college earlier, right?"
"Right, but the entrance exam, I have no chance to pass it." frowned Shuiruo.
"It depends." replied Noah with a solemn tone, and he took his hand, then put a knee on the ground as if he was going to propose. Which he was, in a sense.
She started to tremble, her free hand going to her mouth. "Shuiruo, you already said you wanted to be by my side. And I want you. Would you be willing to sign a magic contract with me, and bind your soul to mine with an unbreakable bond, as my subordinate?"
"I am willing!" choked Shuiruo, as tears began to fall.
Noah displayed a gentle smile as he created a spatial ring with a few additional minor upgrades, a golden band with a diamond and two aquamarines that suited her eye color. He slowly put it on her ring finger. The ring resized itself to a perfect fit, and she lifted her hand to admire it.
"I claim you as mine, Shuiruo." said Noah as he stood. We'll make it official it after dinner by signing the contract."
"I couldn't be happier right now, Noah." declared Shuiruo, hugging him tightly. "Or maybe I should call you my fiancé? My Master?"
"Call me however you want." grinned Noah. "Well, fiancé may be a bit much since I have yet to marry any of my girls, you aren't the first one I give a ring to, and there would be a fierce competition for that particular title, but returning to the matter of you passing that entrance exam, once you sign that soul contract, if you love me as much as I think you do, you will exceed the required loyalty threshold and gain some of my abilities. Most are related to combat, but you will also be able to heal and cure other people."
Someone knocked at the door.
"Shuiruo-sama, dinner is about to be served."
"We're coming!" replied Shuiruo with a soft laugh. She couldn't wait for her parents to notice the ring.
…
Less than two hours later, a laughing Shuiruo was using Light footholds to walk in the sky, laughing to herself, while everyone else was watching from the back garden.
"It's like a dream, my Ruo Ruo now has such a bright future ahead of her." said Gengxin as she wiped a tear of happiness. Shuren nodded like his life depended on it, an arm around her shoulders as he stared at her daughter as well.
"Noah, what did you do to her?" asked Erica.
"I shared some of my abilities with her. That is a perk I can give to those who are willing to forever be by my side." shrugged Noah. "Anyway, I will stop her for now. If someone notices her, they might report her as a Spirit on the loose."
"Yes, that would be a sensible idea." nodded Erica, looking at him with a complicated expression.
Noah smiled, and used Shunpo to appear near Shuiruo.
"Alright, let's go down before someone reports seeing a girl walk in the sky. We do not want the AST to be called in."
"Ah, yes, you're right." nodded Shuiruo before going down to hug her parents.
Noah returned as well and walked to Liliana. He whispered into her ear.
"Tonight, about me needing something, I will tell you in advance, Lily. I will give you a choice between another kiss, or massaging my back for 15 minutes."
Liliana got flustered, both at the mention of the kiss, and him using her nickname for the first time.
"Of course, you can also do both." added Noah with a grin.
…
Noah and the girls had gathered to have breakfast in the kitchen, while Shuiruo's parents were sleeping in. At least, that was what everyone else thought. Noah had used Promise to check on them for an instant and smiled as he saw they were busy trying to give Shuiruo a sibling.
"Alright. Since Shuiruo's parents aren't there, and today is an odd day, now is a good opportunity to do your rolls. Go fetch your dice, Erica, Lily."
"I was hoping you'd have forgotten." mumbled Erica, instantly in a sour mood.
"Not a chance, Erica." said Yui through her bracelet. "I would have reminded you soon."
Lily simply stood with trepidation and went to her room. They were both back with their dice, and Erica threw them as soon as she sat down, wanting it to be over with.
"5 and 6" said Noah, taking out from his inventory the sheet showing what 5 with the white dice and 6 with the other meant. "You would typically want to avoid rolling any 5 or 6, because that's where the double rules are concentrated.
"Indeed." said Yui, with the tone of someone enjoying herself. "5 and 6 or 6 and 5 actually have similar results. Double rules, and Master gets to choose them."
"Oh, by all that is holy." groaned Erica, wondering what devilish choices Noah would make.
"If I were the nasty kind, I would give you two more levels in Worship to try to get you to add +1 to your white dice rolls as soon as possible." smiled Noah, and Erica winced. "But I'm not going to do that. And considering we still have to spend a few days in this home, and I do not really want to have to explain that game to my future in-laws, I'll choose something more discrete… Let's say, one level in Independence Restrictions, and one level in Lifestyle restrictions."
"Acknowledged." Declared Yui. "Independence restriction: Erica, from now on, your Owner must choose your public outfit, including the use of jewelry, and dress you up. As a side note to the jewelry clause, Master cannot force you to get piercings."
"Wait, I can't dress by myself anymore?" asked Erica, her face draining of color. "He'll have to see me naked every day?"
"No. Underwear isn't considered public clothing, and you can already wear those before Master comes to dress you up in the clothes everyone will see. And you can change by yourself in private. This house and its front and back yards are considered private, so you can wear whatever you want as long as you do not get out."
"I see. It's still bad, but it could be worse." sighed Erica. And the second rule?"
"Lifestyle restrictions: You can't use curse words anymore. Accidental use will be considered a minor infraction and extend the game' duration by three days."
"…But what about dual use words, like sh… the S-word describing fecal matter?" protested Erica.
"I will be the judge of it depending on the context." said Yui. "As an example, saying 'I'm in deep shit' is okay. 'Saying 'You little shit!' to someone is not."
"Just great." grumbled Erica.
"Master has gone very easy on you with his choices, Erica." added Yui. "There are some options you would have found much harder to endure, even at their first level."
"Erica, I want you to show me your wardrobe soon, to see what I have to work with, and I will take you girls to shopping tomorrow, to expand those options." grinned Noah before turning to Liliana. "Your turn, Lily."
"…Here goes." muttered Liliana as she threw her own dice.
"6 and 3." said Hikari. "Oh dear, Yui was talking about how things could be worse for Erica. This is worse."
"Ugh, I can see that." said Erica with a wince of sympathy, her eyes glued on the grid.
"First rule, Oral training: Every day, complete 20 full-depth repetitions on a 15 centimeters dildo. To forestall the obvious question, full-depth means that your lips must touch the base for it to count, even for just an instant."
"Nnngh…." whined Liliana, her face losing its color. "But I don't even have a… dildo."
"I will provide accessories, clothes or restraints as needed." shrugged Noah. "I will create them brand new, they won't be used stuff. And the second rule, Hikari?"
"Second rule, Anal training. Every day, wear a small butt plug for 6 hours."
"Something in my!" squeaked Liliana.
"Lily, I think that for your first time especially, the oral training is going to be difficult, depending on your gag reflex. I strongly advise you to do it this morning, so you have time to try again and again if necessary. And if it proves too hard, you can seek help." said Noah.
"I would be happy to help you, Liliana-sama, if you require assistance." said Karen with a sympathetic expression.
There was something in her tone that made Shuiruo look up at her, an eyebrow raised.
"Y-Yes, thank you, Karen." numbly said Liliana, completely unaware as usual of her personal maid's true personality.
Karen was secretly hoping such help would be necessary. This maid wasn't really a sadist, but she enjoyed a lot seeing her Master get flustered and embarrassed.
Noah mentally snorted, thinking that in the following days and months, Karen was going to feast.
But eventually, it would be her turn.
…
"Yes, Sir, understood. I will find someone." replied Ryouko, her phone glued to her cheek.
After a few more meaningless formalities, the general hung up, and Ryouko left her office. Her girls were currently training, running laps around the obstacle course.
Ryouko blew her whistle and the girls stopped, assembling in neat ranks in front of her.
"At ease, people. The AST just received an order related to the allegedly false Spirit we fought two days ago, and met yesterday afternoon. We have been told to keep an eye on him, even if he moves abroad as he said to enroll in Cassell College."
"Which bring me to you, Origami. You're the only Sacred Beast descendant in our platoon, so, while the government could pull in some favors to have someone else enlist, it would be a lot less suspicious if you were the one to go. Do you accept this mission?"
Origami remained silent for a few seconds. She hated Spirits, and even if that girl yesterday assured her that he wasn't one, she had her doubts. But what she had told her came to her mind, that Origami should come to him, if she wanted power.
And she wanted power. Power to fight Spirits on an equal footing. Power to avenge her parents, and to make sure such tragedy didn't happen again.
"I accept." nodded Origami.
"Thank you." smiled Ryouko. "Cassell College is sending people here to test him and a few other candidates. You will pass that evaluation as well, but even if you fail it, they will pass you. Just try to make a credible effort."
"Of course, Commander." nodded Origami again. "But won't he suspect me of being a spy, considering the timing?"
"That's possible, but even if he does, he strikes me as intelligent enough to know that the spy you know is better than the one you don't. I doubt he would do anything against you even if he was aware."
"You also have an optional objective, in addition to observing him. You are to do everything you can to prevent him from behind coopted by another nation. If he stays neutral, it's fine. But if he leans toward joining a country's military, you are to make sure that it is our country. You will have the authority to negotiate with him if necessary. The government will give you a list of acceptable terms to offer him."
"…I understand, Commander." frowned Origami. She didn't like this order one bit, even if she could see the logic behind it. Has she been the general, she would likely have given the same order.
"Alright, everyone! Ten minutes break, and then I want to see you all except Origami running again!"
"Yes, commander!"
"Origami, come with me."
Ryouko walked inside and ordered two can of coffee, before giving one to Origami.
"Are you really okay with this, Origami? If you aren't, maybe I can do it myself, and I don't care what the Brass will say about it."
"They wouldn't like the Commander herself going. And Noah would find it more than strange." pointed out Origami.
"Yeah, but at least my conscience would be clean. I know you're an adult, Origami, but you're inexperienced. I feel like I'm throwing you to the wolves."
"I will be fine, Commander." said Orgami with the hint of a smile.
"…Alright… Be wary of the women who will approach him. I think women are his weak point, and with a face like his, many are going to end up in his orbit. Any of them could be working for a foreign nation."
"I understand the mission, Commander. Even if I have to resort to using my body as bait, I will make sure he doesn't become an enemy. Or I will find a way to kill him."
…
In the bathroom, Liliana stared with apprehension at the dildo and butt plug near the wash basin.
The dildo was 15 centimeters long, of average thickness (according to Noah), and made of a slick, transparent PVC material that felt a bit like jelly. It was firm, but flexible, and had a suction cup behind its base.
The butt plug, on the other hand, was shaped like a small steel pear, with an artificial aquamarine gem decorating the base.
With slightly trembling hands, she finally took the plug, and coated it with a generous amount of lubricant (also provided by Noah).
She shuddered when the tip touched her butt hole, and tried to push, but it wouldn't go in. It took her a while to understand that she was clenching her butt. She took a deep breath, forcefully relaxing her muscles, and she made progress.
And this was supposed to be a small one? It felt huge as she pushed harder.
The wider base finally passed her sphincter, settling in, and Liliana gasped, feeling weird. She felt like she had to go to the bathroom… And she would have to endure that feeling for 6 hours, every day.
With half of her tasks done, Liliana took a deep breath, got on her knees, and used the suction cup to put the dildo at the right height. She tentatively opened her mouth wide, and started trying to perform her task.
The dildo didn't have any taste, and Liliana leaned forward, hoping that her lips would reach the base before her gag reflex triggered.
She had no such luck, however. As soon as the head touched the back of her throat, the gag reflex triggered, and she had to pull back with a "Ggk" sound.
Liliana gulped, breathing heavily for a few seconds, then tried again. And again.
After fifteen minutes, she had only managed to touch the base once before pulling back in a hurry and retching.
"Liliana, taking an anti-nausea medicine may help reduce the gagging reflex." said Hikari with a concerned voice.
"Huh. Maybe I really need it." sighed Liliana.
She left the bathroom to talk to Shuiruo, who gave a pill, and twenty minutes later, she tried again.
It went a little better, and she managed five full-depth repetitions in the next ten minutes, but it was a real struggle.
Someone knocked at the bathroom's door.
"Liliana-sama, do you wish for me to help?" asked Karen.
"No!" exclaimed Liliana.
"Too bad. I would have been happy to be of help to you, I mean."
Liliana sighed. Her maid Karen sometimes spoke a little ambiguously, but she knew she meant well.
"It's fine, Karen. I'm managing it somehow."
It took her another ten minutes to finish her task. When she was done, she removed the dildo from the wall, cleaned it, and walked to her room to hid it in the bottom of a drawer.
But as she walked, she winced, realizing that the butt plug was slightly shifting with every step. She would be unable to forget about it, and blushed in shame.
