Ch 189: Kimaris

Akeno was teaching Izumi and Kazumi how to use the Gandr spell when her phone rang. Not the phone she used to contact Noah, but the one Da Vinci gave her.

"Please excuse me." said Akeno as she walked some distance away.

"Hello?"

"Hi, Akeno." said Da Vinci. "We have your location at last. The enemy is in South Africa, thirty kilometers north of Calvinia."

"Thank you. We will go there as soon as possible." nodded Akeno.

"Good luck. Although I do not expect you to need it."

"Yes. And look forward to a surprise when we return." grinned Akeno, thinking about Olga-Marie.

"A surprise? A good one, I hope."

"Yes, a good one. See you soon."

Ending the call, Akeno turned to the others and ended the call. She clapped her hands to get everyone's attention.

"Everyone, gather around, please."

"We have the location?" asked Rin as the disciples came closer.

"Yes. South Africa."

"Should I contact Captain Kazama?" asked Kyouko. She wasn't part of the military anymore, but she was still a disciple, and the government hadn't objected. They had still to name a replacement, but the bureaucracy moved at its own pace. And now, it looked like that had run out of time.

"No need, I will do so right after I explain everyone what is going on."

"Oh, so we are finally going to learn about the things you and Rin are hiding." nodded Mayumi.

"Yes. Some of you already know, Rin and I are visitors from another timeline."

Akeno briefly explained the situation about timelines, how the surface of Rin's world had been divided into 73 fragments, and one of them was being pulled to their own. About their mission to deal with the thing causing it, and how they would leave this timeline almost immediately afterward.

When she was done, Masaki was the first to ask.

"Akeno, I understand why you didn't tell us before, but why are you telling us now?"

"Because you all have a decision to make. You can stay here, or come with us, and get all the benefits we can offer you. Unfortunately, this will likely be a one-way trip. That means saying goodbye to your families."

"Akeno-sama, you really are a great person, coming to our world to save us." exclaimed Izumi, her eyes almost glowing. She seemed to have missed the part where they had to come anyway to recover the world fragment.

"Count me in. Sounds like a great adventure." nodded Erika, as if her decision was ever in doubt.

"Yes, I'm in as well." said Lina, the most recent of her disciples.

"I am going." said Honoka. Shizuku looked at her without much surprise. She had already guessed that Akeno and Honoka had become more than friends.

"If Honoka is going, I am also going. Besides, If you came here to save our world, it would only be fair that we help you save Rin's world, and other worlds as well."

"I will, too. Shizuku is right." said Airi. Touko nodded, and seeing them, Shiori followed suit.

"I will stay there." said Masaki. "Someone needs to stay to transmit Magecraft to more Japanese magicians."

"Yeah. I will stay as well. Sorry, Akeno, Rin, but I do not want to part with my folks." said Leo.

"Akeno-sama, please allow me to follow you." said Izumi as she made puppy eyes at Akeno.

"Yes, you will be welcome. And stop with the puppy eyes already." Izumi almost melted into a puddle of happiness.

Kasumi saw her sister's state and sighed as she understood that she wouldn't be deterred.

"I'll be going. I can't separate with my idiot sister. And what Shizuku said isn't wrong. I'd rather be the heroine who helps save worlds than the princess being saved."

"You are both idiots!" complained Mayumi. "Huuh… That was your plan all along, right, Akeno? You knew that Izumi would choose to follow you, and with her going, Kasumi and I would have no choice but to go as well, right?"

"I do not know what you are talking about. But it is great the scheme I didn't have is working as I didn't plan. I am deeply moved by the strength of your sisterly bonds." grinned Akeno as Izumi tightly hugged both of her sisters.

"What about you, Sayaka?" asked Rin.

"I think I'll go. How much time do we have to meet our families?"

"Not much. Maybe two or three days. That is why we are going to stop the Magecraft lessons. We will gather here before leaving, and I will contact you a day in advance to give you the time of departure."

"Yes. See you later." nodded Erika as she walked away. She had people to see, and not much time to do it. Every other disciple followed her example.

Akeno contacted Captain Kazama and Tatsuya.

…

Five hours later, Akeno, Rin, the Valkyries and Tatsuya, all wearing the thick black bodysuits that were standard armor for magicians in the battlefield, reunited on the Tarmac of a military base as a long-range stealth bomber converted into a transport was being prepped for departure. The sleek black plane looked so good that Akeno almost considered stuffing it in her inventory after the mission.

She stopped admiring the plane when Captain Kazama walked to her. She only met him in person once before, when she and Rin had been asked to demonstrate their magecraft.

"No poaching it." smiled the Captain, as if reading her thoughts.

"I wasn't thinking about it at all." grinned Akeno.

"We obtained the permission from the Union of African Nations's government to enter their space, on the condition that we allow them to observe our actions. There will be drones in the air, and some of their people on the ground."

"I do not mind, but I won't guarantee their safety. Noah told me that demonic pillars are pretty good at attacking multiple targets at the same time, and they have a lot of firepower."

"We told them about the safety issue. They did not believe us at first. But they did send a few drones at the coordinates you gave us, in a valley that had been deserted since the last major war, and those drones got shot down without them getting a glimpse of what was shooting them. Both the drones and satellites show a blurry and distorted area. The pillar must be using some kind of camouflage. That is why they are willing to use us as cannon fodder or bait, before they risk their own troops."

"They better not get ideas about shooting us in the back at the opportune time." shrugged Rin, but she immediately frowned. "Wait. If they observe us, won't they discover about Tatsuya-kun, if he has to use his abilities?"

"Tatsuya-kun will remain in the plane and support you from a distance. He will only take action if the enemy proves too difficult."

Rin and Tatsuya nodded.

A technician came to them to announce the preparations were done, and they climbed into the passenger cabin. The comfort was minimal and there were no windows, only a screen displaying the view from one of the plane's front cameras, but they weren't here to play tourists.

The plane took off immediately and accelerated to Mach 2 when it flew over the sea. There were going to take an indirect route to avoid entering the airspaces of other nations, but despite the delay, they would still reach their destination in about seven hours.

…

Olga-Marie moved her head back and forth as she sucked on Noah's cock, moving her tongue as he had taught her.

She didn't like giving head. Before everything happened, she would have bitten the head off of anyone even suggesting she do something like this. And it scared her that her dislike for it, and all the other things Noah subjected her to, became less every day. If this kept up, she would end up liking it.

Her bondage was very light today, compared to the previous week. Only a pair of leather cuffs keeping her hands behind her back, and a leather blindfold. And the collar, of course, connected to a leash he held in his hand.

She didn't know what the fond the most humiliating. That she was leashed like a pet, or that she was on her knees before him, using her mouth to pleasure him.

Her body was covered by the latex bodysuit she had become used to, and a vibrating butt plug kept her aroused whether she liked it or not.

"Good girl."

A wave of pleasure spread from her spine, and she groaned at the way her body reacted to his words. She knew she was being conditioned to seek his approval and praise.

But the awareness didn't blunt the effectiveness of the training.

She felt his hands on her shoulders as he gently pushed her away, and Olga-Marie felt some confusion, as she expected him to cum in her mouth.

He removed the blindfold, and she blinked several times as he took her in his arms and lifted her above his cock, facing him. He slowly lowered her, and she gritted her teeth to suppress a moan as her wet sex accepted the intruder.

"I have some important news, Marie." said Noah with a smile, playing with her breasts with a hand as he kept the other arm around her waist.

How could his hands feel so good? She resented him for making her feel this pleasure.

Part of her wished she had never known about the things Noah could make her feel when he put his mind to it. She was already starting to get addicted to it.

"What news?"

"You already know about Flauros being defeated. Beleth met the same fate at the hands of Scathach, so she and Asuka are back to Chaldea, and soon will go to another. Or they might form new teams, now that sending Servants isn't a big issue anymore. And Alaya gave Akeno the position of the demonic pillar on their world. They should be on their way to fight it."

"That's good."

"Yes, that's good." nodded Noah. "But once Akeno returns to Chaldea, one of the first things she will do will be to use a reward Lilith gave her and bring two people from the island to Chaldea. Takina, and you."

Olga-Marie felt happiness when she heard him. She missed Da Vinci and Mash. Even the lazy Gudako and the anime idol-obsessed Romani.

She had made a few friends here, starting with Ophis and Claire, and everyone treated her well, but she still wanted to meet them again, and take back the direction of Chaldea.

At the same time, she surprised herself when she felt a burst of disappointment. And revulsion as she realized the source of it. How could she feel sad that she wouldn't be trained anymore?

Noah laughed.

"Your face really is an open book, Marie. Don't worry, your training will continue, Takina and Akeno will see to that, until you submit completely. And after that, you will still be regularly disciplined."

"I wasn't thinking about that at all!" exclaimed Olga-Marie, only to jolt when he gave her a spank, and she couldn't stop the moan from escaping her mouth.

"That was for lying. Akeno is my second in command, so I expect you to follow her orders, especially when they relate to your own training, or the training of other people. Although she will leave the direction of Chaldea's operations to you."

Olga-Marie sighed, but nodded.

"You won't leave empty-handed, either. I am crafting dozens of spatial rings, as well as half a dozen Sanctuaries. I want each team to have one if possible, since the time dilation feature is so useful. That's a lot of work to have them all fully furnished, but they should be ready by the time you and Takina cross over."

"I see."

"Yes. And since that means that you're going to be up to several years without seeing me, Marie, how about you tell me what you would like me to do with you before you leave?" smiled Noah.

"I…" started Olga-Marie, and she blushed. "…I want a proper date."

"Very well. We'll have a shower and I'll take you to lunch, then we'll do a theme park or visit some landmark, then dinner, and more. But before that, make me cum, Marie. I won't move, so you'll have to do all the work."

"Humph. Not just a pervert, but a lazy one as well." grumbled Olga-Marie as she slowly started going up and down his cock.

With the butt plug still vibrating, she came twice before she managed to make him cum.

…

After landing, Akeno, Rin and the six Valkyries climbed into a troop transport of the UAN. They would use it to go within five kilometers of the blurry area, using the terrain to deny a direct line of sight, then continue on foot.

…

Captain Oumar Mukadi didn't know what to think of the eight women he had been charged to escort to the anomaly. They were young, and had the looks and behavior of people who already had seen their fair share of life and death situations. But six of them had strange wing-like appendages sprouting from their heads. He had thought they were some kind of accessories before, but a closer examination showed they weren't accessories, and could move. So, they had to be implants, but he couldn't figure out their functions, or why they would have made them so obvious. Implants were typically installed under the skin, and you wouldn't be able to tell who was augmented.

"So, you guys are magicians of the Japanese army? Pardon me for asking, but most of you seem more Caucasian." he asked, referring to the Valkyries.

"We are a private contractor, sort of. Not part of the military." said the one with long black hair and purple eyes.

"Sort of?"

"The Japanese government doesn't pay us for this. They just helped us with getting there, like you do."

"So the target must be valuable, if you're risking your skin without them paying you." speculated the Captain.

"Not really. We do not intend to take anything from the target with us, so if you wish to examine the carcass, feel free."

"Carcass? An interesting choice of word. It is suggesting the target is organic, and that it isn't human."

Akeno smiled. "You will see. Just make sure to surround yourself with a shield at all times."

It took them a while to reach their destination, but when they did, and when the… gigantic thing dropped its camouflage, revealing a white and green… flesh pillar twenty meters wide and well over a hundred meters high where it tapered into a point, the Captain understood.

Dozens of huge red eyes with slit pupils opened along the surface. And the thing spoke.

…

Akeno, Rin and the Valkyries each deployed multiple layers of golden shields in front of them as they advanced toward the area where the air was distorted. And then, the demonic pillar decided to show itself.

"Foolish mortals, rushing to your death before your appointed time." rumbled the voice of the demonic pillar.

"…I imagined you taller. Did you have proper meals as a child?" replied Akeno. She jumped to the side with a laugh to avoid a beam of purple light coming at her, leaving a small furrow of molten stone and burned soil behind it.

"So, which one are you?" asked Rin.

"Kimaris! Engrave that name into you soul as you perish!"

"Hey, that almost rhymed! Everyone, start!" said Akeno, casting Augment on herself.

The six Valkyries took to the air and spread, wanting to give themselves room to maneuver. They used both Augment and Shunpo, and then they started targeting the red eyes.

Demonic Pillars were strong. They had access to a large variety of attack spells, with each eye being able to cast independently, and could equal the firepower of dozens of Magus. For defense, they had a thick scaly skin that could easily equal a modern tank's armor, and their vital organs were protected in the middle, behind meters of resilient muscle tissues.

Kimaris started the fight delivering withering fire against the women who dared challenge him, devastating the surroundings.

With that kind of firepower, Kimaris would have crushed any conventional army, or large group of magicians in less than twenty seconds.

But against Akeno and her group, it was simply useless. His targets were too nimble to be hit with high-power attacks, and explosions detonating near them didn't seem to do much either.

And the enemy wasn't content with just avoiding. Kimaris soon found his many eyes peppered with golden spears and mana-charged bullets. He started to lose them at an almost unbelievable rate, and only fifteen seconds after the battle started, he was blind and incapacitated!

"Damn you! You puny gnats!" roared Kimaris in both rage, and a bit of fear.

"Use your Noble Phantasm." called out Akeno, and the Valkyries nodded. Light erupted from their rifles. Not the blue light they used a sword-sized bayonets, but a golden light that was easily four times larger.

The War Maidens dashed toward their target and passed it by while leaving deep cuts that immediately gushed blood, then gathered above the demonic pillar.

The six Valkyries adopted a hexagonal formation, and a giant white halo appeared between them. A beam of golden light fell from the heavens, passed through the halo, and struck Kimaris as it's base, causing a huge explosion of fire and gore.

The middle and upper sections of the demonic pillar crashed down with enough force for the people on the ground to feel the vibration through their feet, and it stopped moving.

Akeno took her smartphone and called Chaldea.

"Hello?"

"Romani? Can you confirm the kill?" asked Akeno.

"Already? that was fast. Wait… Alaya says it is done. Good job."

"Thanks. I'll call you in… thirty hours, more or less, to bring us back." said Akeno as she made a thumb up to the Valkyries to confirm.

They made their way back to the transport. Captain Mukadi walked to them, his face pale.

"What the hell was that… thing?"

"Kimaris, one of the 72 demonic pillars of Solomon. Don't worry, there was only one of them in this world."

"I'm not sure this explanation makes it any better!" retorted the Captain.

"Sorry, Captain, but I won't explain any further." smiled Akeno. "You can always ask the Japanese government later."

The Captain shook himself, closed his mouth, and sighed. He decided to keep his curiosity in check.

After seeing what he had just seen, he was afraid of them.
