Chapter 2: Now about that elf

As he stood up, the newly christened Fenrir wondered briefly if the name was a bit too on the nose. 'Eh, should be fine. After all, I doubt anybody here knows anything about Norse mythology. If anything, it may be a handy little isekai-ed detector. If they recognize my name, I know they're not originally from here.' Turning to check on the other demons, he suddenly remembered another ability he had chosen. 'God's Eye will give a much more accurate picture of their injuries than my untrained eyes.' It took him a moment to work out precisely how to tap into the ability, but then it clicked. It was rather like having been nearsighted for all one's life, then being given properly adjusted glasses. Looking at the demon- no, the succubus before him, he intuitively knew every detail of her physical strengths and weaknesses. Seeing her mental attributes was slightly more difficult, but when he identified the necessary technique it quickly became second nature as well.

He quickly scanned over the rest of the succubi. All lesser, almost all wounded in one way or another. Thankfully, most were not life threatening, though without proper treatment several would soon become so. He noticed there were only eight succubi now. Whether he had miscounted earlier or another had died while he had been slaughtering his way through their attackers he didn't know, but deemed it of little importance at the moment. Right now, the priority was ensuring the ones alive remained that way. He couldn't help but let his eyes linger over their curves as he checked their wounds. As befitting of pleasure demons, they were all beautiful, effortlessly seductive, and every movement suggested eroticism.

As his cock stirred in its sheath he slapped himself mentally. 'Save their lives first, eyefuck them later, dumbass,' he thought. Casting about for a method to heal them, his eyes fell on the elven mage he had fought earlier. God's Eye quickly identified her.

Safara CidrinFemale ElfIce Mage Lvl 12 - Sage Lvl 16Status: UnconsciousAbilities: Ice Bolt, Icy Blast, Restore

There was more, but he didn't bother looking further. He wasn't sure what Sage was, but he was willing to bet Restore was a healing spell. In several quick strides he was beside the unconscious woman. Cradling her upper body in one arm and gently slapping her cheeks, he tried coaxing her awake. 'Shame there's no water handy,' he thought. 'A cold bath would wake her up.' Thankfully however, she moaned and stirred several moments later.

"Wh- what's going on? Where am I?" she asked groggily. "Ah! My head... what did I hit it on...?" Safara's eyes wandered about confusedly until they rested on Fenrir's face, when a look of dawning comprehension and growing horror overspread her features. "You!"

Figuring this was a good time to test just how intimidating he could be, Fenrir had turned off Warmth, and now he growled threateningly, "Me. I have need of your skills, mage. You will assist me, or I will kill you. Slowly, and very painfully." A bluff, but she didn't need to know that. She was an uncommon beauty even amongst these succubi, he wasn't killing her if he could help it.

Safara seemed to buy it, if her evident terror was any indication. Her eyes roamed over the bloodbath that was the hall, took in the blood that was soaked into Fenrir's fur, and made the obvious connection. "All of them?" she asked faintly, almost to herself. Fenrir said nothing. She moved as though to try to run, but she was helpless in his grasp. After a few moments however, she took a visible grip on her courage, and although she was shaking from head to foot, she said in a remarkably level voice, "I understand, monster. What would you have of me?"

Rather than answer, Fenrir lifted her to her feet and half led, half carried her to where Koreen was sitting propped up against a pillar. The blue-skinned succubus was alarmingly pale, and her breath was growing more shallow. The brown-haired succubus -Yumiko, God's Eye informed him- was still working at her leg, but had made very little progress in closing the wound.

She looked up as he approached, then recoiled in terror. Throwing herself at his feet, she half moaned, half sobbed, "I'm sorry sir! I tried my best, I really did! I just can't! I don't know how! Please sir, I'm sorry! Please..."

Fenrir looked at the groveling succubus in some surprise before realizing he was still suppressing Warmth. He growled internally at his own forgetfulness. 'I really need to get a grip on these new abilities of mine. Cannot afford to go around scaring the shit out of people for no reason.'

Allowing Warmth to flood back into his being, he bent close to Yumiko and putting a hand gently on her shoulder, told her, "I'm not angry. I know you did your best."

She looked up in shock, tears streaking her face. More, Fenrir realized, than could have been spilled in the last few moments. She must care a great deal for the wounded succubus. He turned to Safara, who was watching him in perplexity. Understandable, considering how quickly he had gone from terrifying harbinger of doom to gentle and comforting guardian. She still flinched when he turned his attention upon her, and he could hear her heart beating rapidly. "You will heal this woman, and then all of the others who require it. If you fail to save all of them, whether by accident or design, there will be consequences. Am I clear?"

She nodded, rather more rapidly than was entirely necessary, and then dropped to her knees beside Koreen, who was barely conscious. Muttering an incantation, she moved her hands in complex patterns above the wound. Beside her Yumiko divided her attention between anxious looks at Fenrir and anxious looks at Koreen. Curiously, she was still a little aroused, despite the danger to her friend's life. He wondered if his Alpha perk could affect people without any actual sex occurring. Or was Yumiko just turned on by his size and appearance? He knew he looked powerful, with sleek fur and muscles defined enough to show even through his thick coat. Speaking of which, there was quite a lot of blood drying in it, and that was not a good thing.

He addressed Yumiko, who straightened up immediately upon hearing her name. "Yumiko, is there a place to wash nearby? I would rather not let any more of this blood dry in my fur."

"Yes, Master! Down that hallway and to the left there is a bath. Would you like me to come with you?" As she said this, however, she gave a brief glance back towards Koreen, obviously still deeply concerned about her friend's condition.

"No, stay put. Help Safara heal the rest of your sisters, and when she is done, bring her to me."

"Yes, Master! I will!" Yumiko was all enthusiasm at the thought of being able to stay with Koreen, but Fenrir saw Safara throw him a startled look. Being unaware of God's Eye made his knowledge of her name a concerning mystery. He ignored her however. A little bit of mystery could only be a good thing, and would serve to fascinate her. The more she thought about him, the easier it would be to make her his.

As he walked the length of the hall towards the great doors which appeared to be the only means of ingress to the room, he thought of the icicle Safara had put into his side earlier. Examining the spot, he could find no indication of a wound. 'Is my natural regeneration that good? Then again, I don't even know how deep the wound was. It may have been only a scratch.'

Leaving the great hall, he stepped lightly down the hallway, noting the blood spatters on the floor and walls. Only one or two bodies, however. It seemed most of the fighting had taken place in the great hall. Reaching a door on the left, he opened it to reveal a large, vaguely Roman style bath, albeit with a roof. Along one wall were waterspouts, slightly above head height for an average human. No water was currently flowing from them. Along another wall he saw several floor-length mirrors, most long since shattered. Even this place was not untouched, some fresh scoring in the stonework and a spurt of blood near the door testifying that a skirmish of some sort had occurred.

Without hesitation he stepped up to the bath and sank into it, submerging himself entirely as he swam back and forth, letting the water run through his coat. After several laps he began scrubbing his fingers through it, working the blood out. It occurred to him that he had had much longer claws when slaughtering the human soldiers, and he took a closer look. A few moments of experimentation revealed that his claws were retractable, about a foot long when fully extended, and about an inch long when retracted. This discovery made him curious about the rest of his body, and he took the time to fully examine himself.

Standing at a little over 8 feet tall, and with a well proportioned frame, he was a sight to behold. At a glance he looked rather like a humanoid wolf. His shaggy black fur could not entirely conceal musculature to equal an Adonis, though he knew he had built himself for speed as much as strength. His coat was shorter and softer on the belly, but thickened significantly about the neck and up the spine of his back, the outer guard hairs having silver tips which gave the black a silvery sheen when in motion.

His eyes were a piercing, commanding gold, and seemed to glow slightly in the dark fur of his face. At the top of his head were pointed ears capable of rotating in nearly any direction, or even laying back flat against his skull. His hearing, and indeed all of his senses were much more sensitive than before, except for his vision, which seemed to be about the same. His muzzle was long and slim, with intimidatingly large white fangs that showed to great effect when he snarled. When at rest, however, his face seemed rather more calm and gentle than otherwise, perhaps because of his Warmth Blessing. Toggling it off, an action rather like flexing a mental muscle, he was amazed at the metamorphosis his appearance underwent. While he could not see any actual physical changes, he now looked fierce, dark, forbidding, a monster to strike terror into even the staunchest heart. 'I really am a child of the Dark, it seems.'

His arms were strong enough to tear humans limb from limb with sheer brute strength, with hands mostly human in shape except for the aforementioned claws, covered in a fine layer of fur with some subtly thicker skin on his fingers. Upon closer examination he realized this last was to allow him to run on all fours, thereby significantly increasing his speed and maneuverability. By using his claws as anchors, he could make sharper and more abrupt turns or changes in speed than was usually possible for a creature of his size. His legs were similarly well muscled, being digitigrade in nature, meaning he walked on his toes. In contrast to his hands, his feet were shaped rather like a very large wolf's paw. His tail was over four feet long, thick and shaggy, providing a good counterbalance for his movements.

He had two testicles, each roughly the size of a softball in a furry sack below his sheath, and last but not least, his cock was large even for his size, being sixteen inches in length when fully erect with a diameter of almost three inches. It was shaped roughly like a dog's cock with the tapered head and knot at the base, but instead of being mostly smooth, it had ribs spaced evenly down its length, designed such that they would allow easy penetration but then flare out and drag along the walls of an orifice upon withdrawal, causing excruciating pleasure. Add to that the aphrodisiac and elasticizing qualities of his precum, and the complete package was a bitchbreaker worthy of a monster such as he.

While he had been entirely naked from the moment of his advent into this world, it didn't concern him much, his thick fur acting as all the covering he required. Now clean, he stepped out of swimming pool sized bath, and giving in to a sudden instinctual urge, shook himself much as a dog would, sending water in all directions. 'Ahhh, that felt surprisingly good. No wonder dogs love to do it so much.'

His attention was attracted by a sound behind him, and he turned as the door opened and two women entered the room. "You are done?" Fenrir asked.

"Yes," Safara answered. "All the demons have been healed to the best of my ability."

She looked exhausted, Fenrir noted. "To the best of your ability? Not fully healed, then?"

"I can't create more blood for them. The best I can do is close their wounds. Maybe two people in the entire kingdom could bring them back to full health. Or the Saintesses, but I doubt you want to ask them." Despite her acerbic tone, she didn't quite meet his eyes, her posture that of a child expecting punishment.

"Will they live?" He kept his tone flat, unreadable.

"I think so. The blue-skinned one-"

"Koreen," interjected Yumiko.

"...Koreen," repeated Safara, with a sidelong glance at her interrupter. "She lost a lot of blood, but I think she'll pull through. She's sleeping now."

"I see." Fenrir let the silence build for a moment, then added more warmly, "Well done."

"..." Safara said nothing, but her face betrayed her perturbation of thoughts. A part of her was pleased at the praise, and the rest of her was mortified that she should be happy at the approval of a monster.

"You should clean yourself up, then get some rest," Fenrir advised her. "Do not attempt to run. I will catch you, and you will not like what happens when I do." Safara just nodded, but he didn't miss how her heartbeat quickened and an involuntary shudder ran through her frame. She clearly had some idea of what could happen to her if she antagonized a monster. Curiously, not all of her reaction was prompted by fear, Fenrir's nose informed him. He had to suppress a smile. This elf was turning out to be very fun to play with.

But at the moment there were more important things to be done. "Yumiko, come with me."

The succubus straightened quickly, her ample breasts bouncing somewhat as she did so, and answered in an eager tone, "Yes, Master!"

They left the bathing room, and Fenrir paused outside the door, considering his next action. "Is teleportation common in this world, Yumiko?" he asked.

"Um, no, Master. While it can be done, it takes an extremely precise magic circle, and absurd amounts of mana to perform. There are only a few mages who can do it. And if you get any parts of the spell, or the circle, or even your destination wrong, the results are ...messy."

He allowed himself a small sigh of relief. All his threats meant nothing if Safara could just teleport away from him. "Very well. Take me somewhere I can have a good view of the surrounding area."

"Hmm... Okay, the western tower should have the best view. Follow me, Master!"

As she led Fenrir through the halls, he couldn't help but notice that she seemed to put a little more sashay into her hips than entirely necessary. Was it only because she was a succubus, or was she attempting to seduce him? His curiosity now piqued, he took the time to fully examine everything God's Eye could tell him about her.

YumikoFemale DemonLesser Succubus Lvl 4Status: ArousedAbilities: Lesser Seduction, Sneak, Minor HealKinks/Fetishes: loves the idea of submitting to one significantly stronger and larger than herself - likes being manhandled - her greatest fantasy is being fucked by someone large and powerful enough to use her as a toyDisposition Towards User: somewhat frightened of him - aroused by his dominant aura - believes he may be the master she's been waiting to serve

'How very interesting,' Fenrir mused as they began climbing a spiral staircase. 'No wonder she's so turned on all the time. To be fair, she is a succubus, but I tick practically all of her boxes. If I'm not mistaken, this "dominant aura" bit indicates that my Alpha perk doesn't require sex to have an effect, though admittedly this isn't very conclusive. She's a born submissive already. And she makes for delightful eye candy, too.'

She was fairly tall, only a little under six feet, with a slim frame. Her breasts were large, soft, and enticing, looking almost too big for her body. A narrow waist which swelled into pleasing, though not especially wide hips was supported by two long, slim legs. Her ass was of an average size, but tight and perky, bouncing slightly as she walked. Her soft brown hair fell in sleek abundance to her ass, her demonic nature made plain by the small batlike wings which spread from her lower back, as well as her spaded tail and the horns which crowned her head.

He had to restrain himself from ravaging her then and there. 'First things first,' the great lupine thought regretfully. 'Let's have a look about and see where I am. I can indulge myself later.'

Coming out onto the top of the tower, he finally got his first good look at the world he now inhabited. His first impression was mountains. A cold breeze was blowing down off the peaks around them, bringing the scent of snow to Fenrir's nostrils. The tower they stood upon appeared to be at one corner of the castle, for castle it was, if only a small one. The main gate faced southwest judging by the sun, the path which led from it winding down around a small cliff before intersecting an old and disused road which ran past the castle. Fenrir realized they were at the summit of a pass, and this fortification had most likely been built to guard the pass. To the southeast past the shoulder of a mountain, he could see flatlands, green fields, rivers, and forests. From the great distance and the angle at which he viewed the plains below, he surmised that they must be quite high up, and that this mountain range must be of a significant size.

The castle itself had clearly seen better days, appearing to be about ready to fall in on itself. The tower opposite them was only half standing, a good portion already having collapsed at some point. In the courtyard below them, he could see several rows of orderly tents, and he realized with a start that he had never verified that all of the attackers had been neutralized. Examining the camp closely, however, revealed no movement.

Yumiko noticed where he was looking and shook her head. "You killed all of them, Master. We checked. The only living things in the camp were the horses that pull their supply wagon."

Fenrir smiled at her. "Good thinking."

The succubus blushed at the compliment, fidgeting with a lock of her hair, and mumbled something inaudible even to Fenrir's sensitive ears.

He turned his attention back to the castle, noting the great hall, situated at the back of the complex, and a detached section which looked rather like a chapel. 'A church? Who do they worship, I wonder? I rather doubt it's Carnachias or Melanoche. A question for later, however.'

He took a deep breath, scenting the air. Amongst the smell of snow and pine, deer musk was detectable, along with other animals such as rabbits. He wondered briefly how he knew what each scent belonged to, before mentally shrugging. 'Probably not worth wondering about. After all, I don't know how I knew how to access God's Eye, but I did. Best not to look the gift horse in the mouth.'
