Chapter 363 – Scary Plans

I quickly fall asleep, basking in the warmth and weight of my lovers. It was a quick session of love, but a fun one.

"Hello?" a voice calls out. "It's a lot harder to pull up someone who isn't my daughter. You'll need to speak for me to hear you. I'm not the owner of this land."

"Um, what?" I say. I'm surrounded by black, but I can still feel my body. This is a bit different from the Goddesses taking me up. Shouldn't I be scared about this?

"Good. I normally only bring up my daughters here. Sorry," the woman says. "I'm Sarania's Mother. The demon at the divorce and then the marriage and all of that."

"Oh," I say. "I was hoping to talk with you about stuff." I can't see her, so I'm not sure if I should trust her. Does Nature or Justice have some way to pull me up here? That could be dangerous.

"Yes, one second. Things still aren't right. Damn Goddesses making everything hard on me. They believe that since they are the shiny ones, they are the center of attention. Here we go."

It takes a moment after her statement for anything to change. A small glow forms, like a fire, letting me see the white demon. She doesn't have that small shine the Goddesses have, I guess, but she is still bright. She's missing the sword and hat, but has the same black dress on.

"I want Sex to die," I say. "What do you want in return?"

"Sarania wasn't wrong about you having a request," the Demoness says, not even flinching at my declaration. "You'll have to bait her out of her territory. Love has her rules, and the fact that she was overseeing a marriage, something she doesn't truly control, is what gave me the ability to threaten her. You can hate Sex as much as you want; she rules over just her own affinity. I'm not going to wander into her territory unless you get her to start wielding an affinity she doesn't own. Otherwise, you'll have to drag her out somehow."

"Got any ideas?" I ask. Is there a ritual that would drag them out? I doubt Fertility has a lot of knowledge about them when everyone calls her absent. Maybe Sea could help, or Space? Maybe I could promise Hearth that I'll be nicer to my wives?

"Dragon really has done a number on you," she says. "No. I wasn't really planning on killing Goddesses. That isn't a small thing to ask. The others don't care about Sex, and I think they all wish to be her, but they won't let me kill her for free."

"I'm willing to pay," I say.

"How are you willing to pay me?" the Demoness asks. She studies me for a bit. I don't know why, as she clearly knows my body well. She knew about markings I didn't even know I had. "I've heard about what you've done so far, and I'm not sure if you wish to continue with that approach."

"What is the mission Sarania has for me?" I ask. "I'll complete it."

"I have two succubus daughters left. Well, direct daughters. I do like to call all my descendants Daughters. One is your servant, and the other is a prisoner of the temples. For a few hundred years, they tortured her for trying to have a kid. They've stopped in recent years, but they're still keeping her locked up like some murderer. I can't just free her, too many wards in place. So I would have to go down personally, but the Goddesses have a pact not to go to the lower realms, and I'm the one exception. If I go down, they can come to fight me. I've been waiting for them to do the right thing while I gather supplies. Can you promise me you'll get her out?"

"Where is she?" I ask. Please be close. They all seem to think this Queendom is important, so wouldn't they put the long-term prison here? Unless the higher realms took her away. But I have some connections there, I just don't want to wait until after the war. I need this promise now.

"The Queen should know. She's in your Queendom. But becoming Queen will only get you access to her. You'll have to find a way to convince the stuck-up bitches holding her there to let her go. Priestesses can get a little too into following the Goddesses, following rules that no longer exist."

"I can do that," I say. "No need to wait for me to be the Queen, or to have a broodmare become Queen. I can start now. I have a few things I can promise the Queen if I need to."

That earns me a small smile. Not that I deserve it. I should've asked Sarania about this a while ago and started working on it without needing something in return. Sarania's sister has been through worse than I have, so how could I not do something about this? I'll get her out. Fertility should help as well.

"How much more do I need to pay to kill two Goddesses?" I ask. I doubt I have enough to get all three, but maybe I can sneak in Justice as well. I doubt I could get Nature out of her territory, but Justice... I think Justice is a prideful woman. I can trick her into coming out, I'm sure.

"I..." she lets out a heavy sigh, her eyes falling to the ground. What could make the powerful hesitate? "I want a sister."

"I'm good with kids," I say. "But I'm not sure how to give you a sister. I need someone to get pregnant, and I don't know who that would be for you. You seem to be the oldest of your line."

"The only way I can explain it is that you need to get the world pregnant," the Demoness says. "I don't know how, or if that means a sister will pop out or not. I just know the world is my mother, like with the elder Goddesses."

"Anything else I can give?" I ask. I know I wanted to stop doing this, but I would really like to give her some daughters. She's kind of pretty. "How do you know that getting the world pregnant will give you a sister? Couldn't that just make another elder Goddesses?"

"Promise you'll try to find a way to give me a sister," the Demoness says.

"I'll ask Fertility about it," I say. "She should know about it, or maybe she has a ritual for it tucked away somewhere? I'll figure it out." Two things I need to figure out now. Three, if you count getting Justice and Sex to leave their domains. But I'll need to get them to come out together, as I doubt they'll be leaving their territory anytime soon if I only get one of them out.

"Then I want a daughter. Promise to help me get a sister and get me pregnant. I know the world will make me a sister because the Goddess of Poison, the one I killed, poisoned the world before I was born, and that is what created me. I don't know how, or why, or anything else about it. I didn't care about the Goddess of Poison until she sought to poison my line. And I've been thinking she may have succeeded at that."

"I'll give you as many daughters as you want," I say. "But this deal with getting the world to create a sister for you is going to be hard. I doubt the Goddesses are going to be much help."

"I understand. Do what you can. I have a feeling you'll have plenty of time and a lot more power to do it than you think. In the meantime, find a way to get the two Goddesses together, outside their lands. And I would like some help. Taking two of them at once won't be easy, even with what I've prepared."

"I'm sure Fertility would be happy to help get some revenge and make it so I'm not Sex's Champion anymore."

"Thank you," the Demoness says. "Good luck. Make it through this, and you'll get your final revenge on two of them."

"I can't wait to see you with a belly," I tease.

The light fades away, and dreams take over.

*** Nature ***

Slow. That genocidal Goddess just had to step in to cause more deaths. Fights everywhere! Why not let the stronger side just walk in and enact their will? I've been grooming this army for millennia, so why should these Queendoms get to hold their own against me? I can't flank them, I can't surprise them, I can't do anything but fight head-on, with the enemy knowing everything that is happening the very second it happens. She won't help me. She'll let me, a Goddess, get surprised.

"You've got how many beasts, and you can't move faster?" Justice says.

"Most of them are stupid," I say. "You try getting something that will live this long and be powerful out of a mortal. I'm moving along a lot faster than you are."

"I'm not the Goddess with full control over my forces," Justice says. "Many of them are just hiding behind Dragon's skirt instead of fighting for Justice. Letting a Dragon breed with the Phoenixes isn't getting them to come. They just don't have the heart for it. I'm in a fair fight, unlike you."

"I've got several Goddesses against me."

*** Phrogni, Sister to the Queen of the Dragons ***

It hurts more than I expected to have our Goddess refuse to help us. I've come close to making my sister into my mate. Maybe I should. But the Goddess wants the strong to live. If she wanted us to stop, she would openly support Alzi. No, our Goddess has what she wants already and just needs to see the strong survive.

At least, I hope so. It could just be a cruel game to get us killed. We're closer than I'd like to blasphemy.

"Sister," I say. "We have to be careful. Nature isn't moving as fast as we thought."

"It's crazy that they're getting held up," my sister says. "Champion! What is going on? We were told they would be fractured. Why are we facing two higher realms and the Queendom? And even the Goddesses are helping them. Justice and Nature aren't doing much for us."

"They are working for you," the Champion says. "Do you think you would be alive right now if you didn't have them backing you?"

Nature did secure us a place to set up in the lower realm. But with us having to worry about the Phoenixes attacking our own realm, we can't bring all the limited warriors we have into the attack right now. Too many have listened to the Goddess's will.

We'll have problems if this level of fighting continues. My sister may do something unforgivable if we remain stuck. We're only here to take back our blood, not destroy the lower realm.
