Chapter 246 – Will this Promise Come True?

*** Alzi ***

"Am I done?" I ask. Yes, as the head of the healers, I should probably know if I'm done without having to ask. But it's difficult to tell when you have to take a mini trip in the middle of the day to save a stupid princess, and then come back to a full tent and have to fuck some nobles to keep them alive, get my cut-in-half wife pregnant to heal her, fuck my helpers, and finish healing the rest while my maid is trying to keep my cock in her mouth.

"Yes, my Lady," Shyla says. "Only one noble died in this tent today, despite the numbers."

"WHAT?!" I shout. "When did this happen?! I wasn't gone that long, was I?"

Shit! Did I just wake the nobles? No, they seem to still be asleep. But it's probably best not to talk about my failings around these nobles, who are always looking for any reason to complain.

"You were out for a while, my Lady," Shyla says. "But this was after that, while you were healing Inanos. Multiple women came in with her, and all of them had similar, but not as severe, injuries. They couldn't all be saved."

"I could have done it," I groan. "If I hear one bad thing about it..."

"Nobody blames you, my Lady," Shyla says, dressing me. "The nobles got an earful from Princess Elora and then Geta, and they had to admit you have done an excellent job keeping them alive. Anyone else besides the Royal Healer would have had many more deaths than you."

"You should've told me. I could have saved her, I think."

"I will remember that in the future. But it is hectic in here, as you know."

"Should I get a manager or something, who only has to worry about the condition the women are in, or is that my job?"

"I think everyone would prefer you keep healing instead of worrying about that, my Lady. I will look into getting such a person for you."

"Thanks. I'm hungry."

"Yes, we should retire for the night. Do you think you need to...?"

"No, I have plenty of mana, and I'll be full by tomorrow. Maybe, I'll even have a few new fucking Skills."

"They should be healing Skills, my Lady," Shyla says. "But, coat first. You ran out of here without it before."

"That's the Princess's fault for putting my kid in danger like that."

"Yes, last time was the Princess's fault, but before that, it was you running out, my Lady."

...

"My Lady," Shyla says, waking me up early again. "The sun is up now."

"Sure, it is," I say. It should be a good thing that the sun is waking me up instead of a fight. "Do I need to move fast?"

"No, both sides seem to have had enough blood for a day," Shyla says. "Did you level up?"

"Yes," I say, glancing at the window. "Two."

One must have just been mana. My tits feel heavier, which is a first for that. I normally have to look at them to figure that out.

"Then I should get ready to fix your wardrobe," Shyla says. "Do you know what size you'll keep when you stop growing?"

"How would I know what size I'll end up with?" I ask. I did actually get some Skills, one of which is pretty good. The other two are, well, as expected, I guess.

"Once you reach a certain amount of mana, you get to control the size of your breasts," Shyla says, taking the liberty to check out my new size through the blanket. "The Queen is a lot stronger than she looks. The Princess is likely also holding her size down a bit. Yuki, as well. And you should be close, maybe just another level or two of pure mana. Champions are truly different. Fluvis must be a danger to the Queen at this point."

"I could shrink my breasts?" I ask.

"Yes, I don't know how small you can make them. But yes, the max size is determined by your mana, and for how small you could make them, you would need to ask the Princess or the Queen."

"I don't know if I would use it."

"You will want to, my lady," Shyla insists. "Or you will become more tits than woman at this rate. This is several sizes of growth in just one night, and you have plenty of growth left to go."

That explains the jump in the weight pulling my chest down. Thank the Goddesses they thought to give extra strength to our backs.

"I'll figure it out later," I say.

"And your useful Skill?"

"Dragoness Mother: Suck the life out of those that try to harm your children, born or not," I say. A Skill Oriphusa would be pissed about. I doubt that I'll be using my magma for this Skill; it talks about life directly, after all. A defensive Skill, but since I seem to always be pregnant, it should be easy enough to run into situations where I can use it. The best part is it doesn't mention sex!

"The others are group heal Skills?"

"Yes, I hope you or the healers are down to get fucked in the middle of the tent today," I say. "I think the tent will become a brothel for the injured at this rate. I just need a group curse cleansing by fucking someone Skill, and I'll have the complete set."

"That does seem to be the way things are going, my Lady," Shyla says, her fingers drumming against my tits. "If I need to get pregnant, then so be it. Just be kind to the one who has to march beside you, is all I ask."

"Do maids normally play with their Lady's tits so easily?"

"No, but their Lady isn't normally a formal brothel slave who is also fucking them nightly and asking her maid to dress her like a slut," Shyla says. "Do you not like me playing with your tits? They feel wonderful."

"Just wondering," I say. "Will I ever be more than a brothel slave?"

"You are more than a brothel slave, my Lady. I did say, 'former brothel slave.' Soon, you'll be more than a slave, and when that happens, I think we should talk about boundaries. Actually, we should decide on them now. It is wrong of me to so casually mess with your tits, my Lady."

"As long as you're gentle, I don't care if you play with me," I say. "It does feel nice. In private, obviously." She will be carrying children for me. Might as well open up a path to liking her a bit more. I think that would be a good separation between concubines and my wives. Concubines will shower me with love and affection, while I focus on showering my wives with my passion. "Yes, if you want, you can do things like this in private, or with my maids or eventual concubines around."

"Are my Mother and I on the list of eventual concubines?" Shyla asks, her hand going to my belly. "I didn't think I would be coming home from this war without a few children of yours in my belly, and Mother should be close to giving birth. I know we haven't been great maids, but Mother has done her best, and I promise to be better when you finally have your true title and station."

"I haven't made that list yet," I say. "If your Mother is willing to help my Mother learn to read and write, then maybe. And you still need to figure out what to do about the suits."

"As you wish, my Lady," Shyla says. "Now, we should get to the medical tent. We can use this time to heal some of the commoners."

During my next pregnancy, I'm going to make sure that I can just lounge around or something. At least I have Shyla to help me up and into my clothing before we have to brave the cold. Right now, I'm no longer giving out baths, just fucking the stupid nobles if I have to. I even get a chair to sit in. So, maybe this is better?

Inside the tent, I find the Princess yet again. This time, she doesn't wait and immediately pulls me into a hug, a few tears getting wiped onto my cheek.

"I'm sorry," the Princess says. "I didn't think you cared for our child much. I'll be safer now."

"Yet again, I saved you when it would be better for me to let you die," I whisper. I wonder if the Princess was smart enough to put up that sound barrier thing.

"I truly am sorry for that, my love," the Princess says. "I didn't think Azula De Vil would be around. We are going to be safer, I promise. Just- Thank you for saving me and the women. I didn't see how bad Inanos was, but- I- Just, thank you. I hate all of this. I care for you and my wives. I love you and Inanos and all of you, and I almost lost too much yesterday, and it was my fault, and you're cleaning it all up. Thank you."

"Are you here to give me a present, or just more words?" I ask.

"At war, what present can I give you?" Elora cries. "I don't dare bring your Mother out here for a wedding. I have Isda already planning it. Once you give birth, you'll have some time off, and you'll marry her then. I can't even help you get revenge until we get back home. I can't do anything right now."

"Give me a letter from my Mother, saying that she knows about the marriage agreement," I say. "Get me that."

"It'll be from Isda, dear," the Princess says. "Yuki is on a mission and can't help your Mother write it."

"I guess," I say. I don't truly trust the Princess, and Isda is strange. But I just need a single lie from them, and I can walk away easily.

"No, I'll set up a time for you to talk to your Mother directly. It won't be much time, but I'll do both—a letter and time."

"I'll be expecting it," I say. "Now, we both have things to handle right now."

"I love you, Alzi. I really do. I'm glad I've gotten to marry an amazing woman like you."

"I just wanted to marry my Mother."

"It is in the works. If there is anything I can do to ease the work you are doing here, let me know. I'm sorry for making you work while you are pregnant."

"Don't get hurt," I say.

"I'll do my best. Today should be calm after both sides failed yesterday. Goodbye, my love," the Princess says, finally letting me go, but not without a gentle kiss on my lips.

I will have to give the Princess credit for showing me more care than the Mistress did. But what a shit bar that is.

"Who should I get first?" I ask.

"This way, my Lady," Shyla says.
