Chapter 207 – Meeting the Kids

I freaked out, ok? I heard my kids and ran. Aurora needs me right now, right? It makes sense; she's hurt while my kids have skilled, smart, powerful, and rich nobles looking after them.

What if my kids don't like me? Fluvis and her wives are so strong and can read and write. What can I offer them? How to be a whore? What are the best sex positions?

No, it's better if I leave them to Fluvis and her family.

Aurora is a mess. Her eyes flutter around the room. Her limbs are all missing. Her hair is, I don't know, it looks like it was cut with an axe or something. Even without her limbs, she is shaking.

Then, there's the muttering about being sorry and failing. Over and over in her hoarse voice. Does she even know where she is? Is this something I can fix? Hopefully, it is just the pain confusing her.

"Aurora, I don't really like you that much. You've been nice, and I appreciate you doing your best to protect me. Really, you are just part of the family that kidnapped me, and I think you could do a better job finding Kelly. But Shimmer said Oriphusa was willing to heal you completely, so why are you still missing all your limbs?" I ask the pitiful woman.

"I failed," comes out. At least she has some recognition of reality.

"Everyone failed me. You, at least, were there trying to do something. What was the point of me risking myself to keep you alive if this is what you do with it?"

"To give you your children," Aurora says.

"Think I care? I have kids I care about in my Mother's womb and in Mai," I say. "I care about those kids. I'm not heartless, and I will be happy to help them grow up, but I don't need your womb. I have my own and others that actually love me."

This should be good practice for keeping track of my mana levels. I don't have the leather strip; the Princess has that, and she is crashing hard right now. But Geta, Shimmer, and Nesh can handle her for now. I'll get Aurora healed, and then I'll have no excuses left to avoid my children.

I don't know what Oriphusa was talking about with the whole 'not letting me heal her' thing. Aurora is gritting her teeth, and her leg is being rebuilt without a problem.

Should I try doing two limbs at once? Aurora kind of deserves it for making me heal her, but watching my mana and two streams is a bit much.

I need to practice everything, and I'm sitting down, so all I need to think about is the streams, and I can let my eyes, or whatever sinks into my breasts, watch my mana.

I send the stream to Aurora's womb to start; there's no need to risk the kids. Then, it starts up on one of her missing arms. Slowly, I repair my annoying maid.

If only I could see her squirm. But I need to focus. I'm still not good with this multi-stream thing. Watching my mana is becoming a lot easier. The Princess says that eventually, it just kind of floats overtop your vision, coloring everything with your mana. Unless you are getting kind of low, then everything looks normal... but you'll feel tired.

Lots of fun.

"My Lady," Aurora gasps. "You don't need to do this."

"I already have one lazy maid. I don't care for a second," I say. "Time for the other half."

Soon, I have a fully working maid. If she hadn't passed out from the pain. Tomorrow, I will have a fully working maid. Two, in fact. Cause Annoris is useless. Hardly a maid. A bitch that doesn't deserve my kids, or maybe she should be turned into just a womb for my kids.

Well, I should kiss Aurora to make sure everything is fine.

I rock out of my chair and give the old maid a kiss on the cheek with a bit of mana. Nothing shows up, so I lose my only way to stall.

"I was hoping you would stay awake and just take me to my kids, taking my choice away," I say. I really have the worst maids.

I'll just walk out and see what happens.

"My Lady," Shyla says. "Is my Mother ok?"

"Fell asleep but now has her limbs again," I say.

"Thank you. I know it was wrong for her to make you do that, my Lady," Shyla says. "Shall we go see a batch? Estrella is trying to find out which of the kids was the firstborn, and they all wish for them to know you."

"I guess," I say.

"Very well. This way, my Lady," Shyla says. Fluvis's house really is just a shrine to the sea. Paintings of boats everywhere and models where a painting just won't do or wouldn't fit.

Slowly, I start to hear the baby talk. Estrella has been the one handling the kids most of the time. Well, she handled them with the maids while Fluvis and Lottie were busy saving the Princess and me.

I try to freeze at the door, but Shyla pulls me into the room.

"This isn't a batch," I mumble. All twelve are here, crawling or messing with toys the maids, Estrella, Shimmer, and Lottie are holding. And now everyone is looking at me, babies included.

A few even start to cry out.

"Lady Alzi!" Estrella calls out. "I'm happy you are joining us. Your kids have been restless while you have been in the house. Come, come. They want their Mommy."

"Why would they want me?" I ask.

"My Lady, you're shaking. Please just pick one of them to hold," Shyla suggests.

"Alzi, sorry to be commanding, but lie down in the bed here. We will bring the kids to you so they can all have fun with their Mommy together," Estrella says.

"I..."

"Honey, please know that I do this out of love for you," Shimmer interrupts. "These kids want you. So, go to the bed and lie down. I know you wish to play with the kids. They will love you; trust me, Honey."

How sad is it that the collar has to force me to move, forcing my limbs to bring me forward? There has to be at least one kid who forgives me. I just need to find her.

"Alzi, we'll be setting your daughters free," Shimmer says.

"Ok," I say back. I think my entire body is shaking, and I know I can't make out any details with my eyes. Please, I just need one of them to forgive their useless Mother.

Slowly, the little babies get placed beside me. Over me and anywhere they can find a spot for the twelve little ones.

"They are too young to crawl but plenty old enough to show you their love," Estrella says, placing one on my chest. The little girl smiles! And she gives out a cute little laugh.

"Hey! Stinker, be careful with my horns," I say, feeling more of them tugging at my horns. They all grab the closest part of me and do that little giggle.

They like me. None of them are crying or trying to get away. They're snuggling with me! Thank you all for forgiving your pathetic Mother.

"Alzi, please ignore all the commands I have given you," Shimmer says, sneaking in a kiss between all the kids. "Sorry to make you watch them all at once, but you need a pick-me-up just as much as Elora. Aurora could've waited; a maid is worth less than any of these kids."

"I didn't think they would like me," I mumble. All I can really do is lie here; a number of my kids have locked my arms in place. The one on my chest is having fun with my new and improved breasts. Did I make them perverts already?

Feeding! I'll get to feed them and use all this stupid milk for something worthwhile. I won't think that's a blessing when I wake up in the middle of the night to do it, but for right now, it is.

"Anyone that doesn't like you isn't worth caring about," Shimmer says, moving one of the naughty daughters that managed to get under my dress. "Your kids are worth caring about, so of course they like you. Actually, I would say they love you. I think this is the longest we have gone without a single one of them crying for something, Honey. So, I think you will be stuck with them till they fall asleep. If Fluvis is anything to go by, they won't be happy about being separated from you."

"That's fine," I manage to say, new tears looking to replace my silly, hateful ones. For so long I've waited to meet my kids. You can't exactly take a newborn to a brothel, not that any of the nobles cared enough for me to ever meet my children. Only a few of them showed up pregnant to let me know they would be raising my children.

All I can do is let the kids mess around while I cry, their little horns poking me, a few hands slapping me as well. I can't see any of them, really; the two on my horns have decided they are for chewing, but I don't think they are able to flex their wings. The few that have them, at least.

A week is all I'll get with them. I'll have to focus on spending time with them since they didn't reject this slutty healer.

I can handle that title. Or Healing Mother. I should go with that one. I'm a mother now. These kids have accepted me, and I will give the Princess a chance with the kid in my womb. I will be a mother for that one as well. Even if I have to find a way to kill the entire world, I will raise her.

...

"It looks like they all finally wore themselves out," Estrella says. "Let us help you move again, Lady Alzi."

"You don't have to," I say.

"We can leave a few of them with you. How does that sound?" Estrella says, picking up the few kids holding my arms down. The maids come over and pick up a few more until all I have on me are the two sleeping on my chest.

"Is it ok to hug them?" I ask.

"Yes, dear. Just be careful; you are a lot stronger than you think," Shimmer says, staying a few inches from the bed. "I know they will all be happy if you would help feed them as well. I didn't want to give an answer about that either way. I think you would like to do that, but it is your choice."

"I will," I say, looking into the little kid's eyes. "I want to. My breasts are made to feed the little ones."

"They will be happy to hear it. I'll leave you be for now," Shimmer says, backing away.

Only four of the kids stayed in the room with me: the two on my chest and two others that were put in a crib. The rest were taken elsewhere like they told me they would be. They say it is easier to manage them this way. I hope they get them together sometimes so they'll know each other. It would be sad if they only recognize their little group as siblings when they get older.
