Chapter 173 – Dinner

Aurora moves me to the head of the table as the rest scramble to sit near me. Myrrh, yet again, manages to sit next to me, my tea cup still controlled by her. But Seirian nudges Ardri down a spot. I guess Ardri wanted Myrrh's place and gave an opening to my right.

Kiz's small frame sneaks in next to Seirian, then Sharn and Lorelei to finish out the right side. Vicia and Zeldyara fill the final spots on my left. We all use the stupid napkins, though these girls don't have the tits to make them useless besides Lorelei.

"First is the soup. The meat is from some kills Lady Alzi made herself recently during her training to be a healer and vegetables from our own garden," Aurora sets my portion down while the two maids go down either side. "Please enjoy."

"Those your first kills?" Sharn asks, waiting for me to dig in.

"First monsters," I say, picking up the soup spoon. It would be interesting to see if they stop trying so hard if I had the wrong table etiquette, but with my owner watching, it's best to behave. Shimmer is likely right that I'm going to be forced to be around these women for the rest of my life.

"What was your first?" she asks as I take my first spoonful. It feels weird eating what I killed. I know hunters do it all the time, but I never imagined I would have to kill things. I just thought I would heal people.

"A client," I say. How far are these girls going to go? Is the Princess going to get mad at the Mistress for almost letting me die? I better get to watch the punishment.

"You couldn't kill a client," Zeldyara says. "Not even with the Mistress's permission. Maybe Princess Elora could do that, but not a brothel owner."

"It was a client," I say.

"They tried to kill you," Sharn says, or maybe asks? Hard to tell with her.

"Yes."

"Well done," Sharn says. I'm sure she means well with that, but I just give her a forced smile and continue eating. Hoping the smell of that day doesn't return. Either day. The scent of my blood is no better than the monsters.

"It is something all nobles go through, Lady Alzi," Ardri says. "I'm sure even Shyla had to kill a bit. No matter the class, killing always improves your levels."

I just raise an eyebrow at Aurora. I can't remember if she said something about Shyla killing monsters or not.

"She did, my Lady," Aurora says, refilling my cup of tea. Luckily, Ardri took the cup of wine with her despite not being able to lift it to my lips. A great excuse to not drink it. Am I going to finally take my teacup back from Myrrh?

"Have you healed things other than monsters?" Seirian asks. "I'm guessing the monsters you killed were first healed of some injury. But have you progressed to the normal races?"

"I've kind of healed the normal races before I ever healed the monsters," I say. "But I have healed some maids and removed the remnants of a curse from Inanos after the monsters."

"What kind of injuries and curses?" Vicia asks. Everyone is starting to jump in to ask the next question, their voices overlapping until one clears over the others.

"One maid had to have part of her arm regrown. The rest of the maids just had some cuts," I say. "But one did have some scars that I removed and healed over again. I'm not sure what the curse was, but the small amount left was absorbing mana that touched it."

"That is quite the jump from monsters. Straight to regrowing limbs and mana curses," Myrrh says, offering me another sip of my tea. "Your tits are for more than teasing, it seems. But why not tell us about your village and growing up. I'm sure your wives have talked a bit about their childhood. I guess you know how different us nobles grew up compared to you."

"I helped my Mommy out a bit in her restaurant. Cleaning and whatnot. She would go through phases where she thought it was wrong of her to let me help," I say. "Then I would stay home and mess around. The neighbors would check in and make sure I didn't hurt myself. Mommy was always working hard to provide for us. She would try her best to teach me what she did know. Mainly my numbers and some math. I struggled to make friends. Mommy said my wings and hair scared them or made them jealous."

"Just your mom? No others or even a dad?" Vicia rushes out to say.

"Yes, just Mommy and me," I say.

"Your Mother must be extremely beautiful to catch a man's eye while not married," Myrrh says with more tea. "Then, not marrying afterward, she must have had her eye set on someone."

"Yes, she is the most beautiful woman in the world, and she had a crush from her youth. They did marry recently after I got her pregnant," I say.

"So your Mother gets to have her second kid as a married woman," Ardri says. "Good for her and it's great of you to help her out like that. I'm sure she'll enjoy some help the second time around."

"Twins, Mommy is pregnant with twins."

"Lucky her," Kiz says, finally getting a word in. "I don't know if I could even handle twins."

"I've had twelve before. I think you could handle two," I say. She seems a bit taller than Mai so I doubt she would be too small for twins, especially with all the extra help nobles get while pregnant.

Aurora cuts in with the next dish with a little commentary: "Seems you all enjoyed the soup. The next is a beast Princess Elora and some wives of Alzi killed yesterday morning in an early morning hunt." Yet again, she serves me personally while the other two handle the rest. "Razorsnare with some fruit imported from the southern region. The chief is saying a white wine is a better pairing with this dish if you all would like to switch over."

They all asked for the white wine. I don't get why, but I also don't drink, so what is my opinion worth, I suppose? Everyone looked surprised that Sharn asked for the white wine, making me want her a bit. Could I spin three of them tonight? Ardri just seems like fun, and I need to punish Myrrh directly for taking control of my tea and now Sharn for being a bit of an outcast.

The others are interesting. Aurora said the men normally get to pick a few women to join the party, so I should be able to get the others back here. Maybe I can borrow Enna and have two ghouls at once next time.

Is it wrong to get the maid pregnant before the wife? She can blame the Princess for it.

"Your Mother must be a good cook to survive without a family and raise a kid," Vicia says. "I won't ask you to compare food from here to your childhood. It wouldn't be fair for either. I doubt much can ever come close to how it felt eating your mother's food, and she likely didn't have access to the same spices you have here. But what kinds of things would your mother cook?"

"Soup was a common and easy one to make. She would buy the bread and look to get a lot of different meats, it was kind of hard without a hunter, but she made it work. Even being an oddball due to jealousy, she was always busy in the shop. She made the best food," I say. "She's amazing."

"Sounds like she is Alzi," Myrrh says, giving me more of my damn tea. Why hasn't Aurora given me my tea back or given me a new cup?

Is the old woman jealous of the young maids and now these noble sluts?

Do I ask her? I can't do that silence thing, and I don't know if I'm allowed to ask for a small meeting. Asking her to do the silence thing would be a little strange if she can't do it while people are this close, but I really want to know now.

Old bitch getting jealous so easily. Sure, pregnancy fucks with you; I used to get really bad with Yuki. And doubt it gets better with age, but still, she could help her lady out a bit here.

Or I could just grab my stupid cup.

"Are you spending a lot of time learning right now? Obviously, you are being taught about healing and mana. Are they teaching you other things?" Vicia asks me before I get my cup.

"Yes, letters and reading. Etiquette was hammered into me, and they are trying to do a bit of history. But the rest is taking most of my time," I say.

"They let you outside occasionally, right?" Ardri says. "That seems like a lot for such a short time. What two weeks or so you've been married."

"They do let me outside a bit each day and the healing lessons are happening outside as well. But those I just started a few days ago," I say. Did she mean to sound like they are my owners or was that just by accident? Maybe she understands what they are doing. It's not like the collar is very well hidden right now. "They did get me flying again. Which was something I missed."

"Oh, harpies are pretty fliers, but a dragon with your wings must be a sight to see," Seirian tells me, just like everyone else. Real show for everyone. Maybe I can do that instead of healing for a little extra money. Set up a little carnival, and maybe as a side act, I can heal the people who pay for the show.

I can even have a third act where I get some of them pregnant, maybe the really sick ones, to use my 'healing' skill. That is really just another way for the Goddesses to force me to fuck people I don't want to. A full carnival all by myself.

At least I have a plan if I never see Mommy again, and I manage to get this collar off. Or if the Princess gets tired of me, I can ask to be sold to some traveling show instead!

Well, I'm sure these bitches would buy me before the Princess could find a traveling show. But it would still be worth pointing out. Maybe one of them is a management team for a bunch of shows or something. Do they even have that kind of thing? Yuki should know; she did that kind of thing before the brothel.

"My Lady, you are falling behind," Aurora whispers. "They will get worried if you start taking your time."

"Why? I have to pick one of them at least," I say. "They have nothing to worry about with me taking my time. If I pushed myself, I could have them all pregnant in an hour or two. I think I can handle getting two pregnant in a night, even if dinner lasts a bit long."

"I guess it would be rude to ask for proof of that first statement?" Zeldyara asks. A thought most of them likely had but were too worried to voice.

"Just ask the um. Aurora, what was that family at the party with the pregnant women? They can vouch for how fast I can get women pregnant," I say.

"Whitearrow family, I believe," Aurora says with a forced smile.

"Oh yes. The catkin is really nice," I say. Oh, I really need to remember her name. "Ko, I think. I had a little accident with her. The family took fertility potions without sharing that information with anyone. I'm sure more than just that family walked away with kids in their bellies. They likely have a list or can come up with one if you don't believe me."

"We believe you, Lady Alzi," Myrrh says. "Stories about that brothel and you spread far and wide. While we all want to know just how many of those stories are real, it is clear you are a fertile person." She gives me the last of the tea and then dares to sneak a bit of the steak up to my lips!
