Chapter 161 – Lunch with a Maid

It feels weird that I can go to a different garden to eat. This one even has a heated shelter to ward off the small chill in the air, though it doesn't have the small stream of water the bloody one has. I guess you have to make each garden a little different.

Another annoying thing is the stupid level I got from killing things. Twenty-three now and with a rather annoying skill.

Sexual Focus: It is easier for you and your sexual partners to use mana. Improves more while having sex. The longer your list of partners, the better it is for you.

I even got a stupid list of my sexual partners, and that .... Elora made it. Along with the rest of my wives, even if we haven't had sex. But Calli, Aurora, Shyla, and Lazy Annoris are also showing up. I was hoping to see Mommy's name or Yuki, but they don't count I guess.

Well, maybe one of them is the starred-out person. ******************** is too long to be just one of them, so maybe both are combined, and it will show when we meet up.

Disappointing, and now I have even more reason to be fucking the person I'm healing. I mean is that going to be part of the cost for me to heal them?

Come to me, and you'll get fucked by the best prostitute in the capital, possibly walk away pregnant, and get healed!

Damn, Goddess fucking me over again. Why couldn't it just be more mana like the levels before or a good skill?

"Is something wrong, my Lady?" Aurora asks while we wait for the chart to show up.

"My new skill," I say.

"It's a good thing to get a skill, my Lady. Why don't you tell it and we can see about it," Aurora says.

"It isn't a complicated skill. Just more sex," I say.

"That makes sense for your class," Aurora continues. "Why not talk it through."

"It is easier for you and your sexual partners to use mana. Improves more while having sex. The longer your list of partners, the better it is for you," I tell her.

"Who all is on this list?"

"Wives, my maids, and Calli," I say.

"Me? I've got a glass here one second my Lady. Let me test this out," Aurora says, a simple glass popping onto the table. Slowly, the glass fills up with water; stop right before it spills out over the table. "Yes, it is easier to use my mana. A lot easier. If I may ask, my Lady?"

"What?!" I snap.

"Can we do a little? My Lady, may we have sex tonight. Nothing long or rigorous, just enough for us both to test out your skill," Aurora asks. "I understand why you would not want to, but it is a good idea to know how much it helps you."

"I'll think about it," I say. Is she going to show off her chest even more tonight?

"Thank you, my Lady," Aurora says. "Now let me set the table. The food will be here shortly."

Aurora drinks the filled glass and puts it away before throwing a tablecloth over the small table. Silverware for two, along with the useless napkins. I'm not sure who would be joining me. Aurora said it would just be me and her.

Oh, I guess she will be eating at the same table. Does that mean she won't give me more rules to follow? There are probably rules about eating with your maid she's about to teach me.

"I have no new rules to teach you, my Lady," Aurora says. "I wish for you to relax, not fret over rules. You should follow the rules, but I have no new ones to add."

"How do you guess what I'm thinking. I don't like people being in my head," I say.

"I am not in your head, my Lady," Aurora says with a bow. "I would never invade your privacy like that unless absolutely necessary. I think I just know you better than you think I do, my Lady. Add in that I only try to guess what is on your mind when I am certain, and it will look like I know what you are thinking."

"You better not be in my head."

"I am not my Lady. Syro should be protecting your mind right now," Aurora says. "I heard someone tried to get into your mind at the party. It was the dryad correct? Is that why you gave her the extra children?"

"Yes," I say. I should've denied her kids instead. At least she knew I was mad about something.

"Just like me, I suppose," Aurora says with a chuckle. "I did ask you to use mana on me. Well, here we go. Let me pass out the food, and then we can eat. Is it ok for me to join you, my Lady? I should have asked that before."

"Yay, that is fine," I say. "I did agree to it earlier."

"Thank you, my Lady," Aurora says, helping the new maid pass out the standard lunch.

I put the stupid napkin in my lap and waited for the food to be set. I guess I also need to wait for Aurora to sit down.

"Thank you for waiting, my Lady," Aurora says, sitting across from me. I guess I don't need to wait for maids? "Now I have another request. May I call you Alzi while we are eating, my Lady? I know you said during sex, but I think this would feel better for both of us if we could be less formal."

"Sure," I say. It is cumbersome to have her constantly say 'my Lady' over and over, and I guess she wants us to keep talking. I should be the first one to eat, even if we are equal with names.

Aurora doesn't stop me from moving my fork and taking a bite out of the salad. So either using my first name has made her give up on the etiquette or I guessed correctly.

"You were saying before that you helped your Mother a lot, Alzi," Aurora starts. "What did you help her with?"

"She was a cook. She had a shop. I never really cooked much, but I would help her clean the shop and carry food from the market," I say. "The older customers would say I was cute when I was trying to help her."

"Yes, I think you would be very cute trying to clean," Aurora says. "Did your father live with you ever, or was he someone else's husband?"

"Never met him."

"You must have a description."

"Gold, handsome, and rude," I tell her. "She didn't talk about him till just before I got her pregnant."

"She said gold? Was he a dragonkin?"

"Yes, and yes," I say. I wait for Aurora to keep going, but she looks at me. Her eyes dart around my wings and tail. "Is there something wrong?"

"Alzi, I. I do not know what to say about this," Aurora finally says. "You may. I am sorry about this, Alzi, but I do not want to tell you something wrong."

"Spill it. I won't have you keep secrets, or you may wish to never join me in bed again," I threaten. Let's see how well the bitch handles being pregnant for the rest of her life.

"Gold scales are royalty for dragons. I think there was a meeting between the Queen and the dragons around the time you would have been born," Aurora spills. "I am not certain the King came with them to the meeting. But if he did, you may be a Princess yourself."

"Don't lie to me bitch."

"That is not a lie. Ask Princess Elora about the dragonkin. She will share the same information. Join your family for dinner and bring it up," Aurora defends. "I gain nothing by lying to you about this."

"I guess he fits the image of royalty."

"Your mother likely knew who he was. She would not trust him to just give her a child. She would expect him to treat her poorly. The village of Dragonkin you grew up in is a group of exiles. Royalty would not be kind to them and would most certainly not give one a child easily," Aurora says. "He may have gone farther than needed, but he needed to punish your mother, or she would have thought him to be a joke. Someone to make her look like a fool. That does not wipe away what he did, but it should explain it."

"Glad they all have excuses to be shits."

"Yuki?" Aurora dares to ask.

"She was kind to me. The only royal that seems to be kind."

"She could have freed you the second she found you," Aurora says. Another person saying this.

"I had an agreement. Princess Elora must have done something to keep the Mistress from honoring our agreement," I say.

"Maybe. I was not part of the negotiations, but I do not think Elora forced the Mistress to sell you. But I will leave it to Princess Elora to prove her innocence. My words can not persuade you, and they should not. The Princess is capable of showing her own love," Aurora says. "Sorry for bringing up that pain when I meant for this to be relaxing. It was wrong of me to continue the discussion like that."

"You haven't heard what he forced Mommy to do," I say. My hands shake as I recall all the things he made her do. She suffered without anyone to help her. Without a stupid fucking collar suppressing the memories. All for useless me.

"Correct, it sounds like he did much more than he needed to. I am sorry your mother had to do all that for a child. No one should have to be tortured just to have a child," Aurora says. "Your mother did an amazing job raising you, and I can not wait to meet her. She is a very strong woman."

"Yes, she is my best friend and love. Someone this 'loving' Princess stole from me. I was meant to help her with her next set of kids, not live in this fucking pretty prison!" I yell out.

"You will Alzi. You will get to raise your children with her," Aurora says, like all the others here.

"Hmph, then where is she? What date? When is the wedding?!" I say, slamming my silverware down and rocking the stupid table.

"Your wives are working on it. I believe Princess Elora has given you a promise to marry her, right?" Aurora says. I huff out in response but nod my head. "Then she will do it as your wife. Wives and husbands can not make promises like that without being held to them. If she does not work towards that goal, then the marriage will dissolve. You will marry your mother. I can promise that, Alzi. I will help you settle that promise if they go too long without fulfilling it."

"I want her now."

"I know, but right now, without Princess Elora, you would be pregnant with another bastard that you would have to give away. Not married to your mother," Aurora reminds me. "I can promise you that Princess Elora will let you marry your mother, and I seem to be running headfirst into the wrong discussions to relax you. I am sorry for that. I wish for you to be happy and I am not doing a good job of that. I will keep my mouth shut for the rest of lunch so you do not have to fight me over this, my Lady. I hope you can forgive me for angering you. I wish for you to be happy and strong. That is all."

"If I don't marry my mother at what should be the end of my slavery..."

"I am yours to do with as you please, my Lady," Aurora interrupts. "Take out your anger on me."

"I'll think about it."
