Chapter 71- That’s mean!
It was more than twenty-four hours ever since Kei entered the human domain and came to meet Kaori. Currently, it was yet again a starry night outside, as Kei stood on the extended balcony of his apartment flat, with his bare upper body full of exposure.
Soon he felt a pair of soft hands enveloping him from his back before a warming sensation pressed on him, bringing a natural smile to his lips. He held her hand before turning around steadily and bringing the girl in his arms.
“It looks good on you.”
After their love-making session, there was no intact clothing remaining for Kaori to wear since as soon as Kei got heated up, he attack Kaori fiercely and only slowed down when he saw tears in her eyes.
He mostly dealt with experienced women so having both of his lovers being virgins made him quite dumbstruck about how he should be handling them. But in the end, he came up with a soft approach and went rather gently with Kaori despite the prediction that she might be on the much rougher side when it came to s*x.
He really has to stop judging his women by their behavior…
“Thank you. Although it’s not something I am accustomed to wearing, I might surprise you next time if you like it.”
Kaori has spent her life majorly in her uniform or formal clothing. There was no reason for her to dress well or look pretty in the past, but now she realized how her appearance was disappointing and what changes she have to make in order to please Kei.
Wearing a one-piece lingerie that reached up to her upper thighs, Kaori naturally could feel Kei’s gaze lingering on her more than ever which made her delighted and relieved at the same time that she still got her charms of a woman.
“Then I will be looking forward to my next visit.”
Kaori felt his arms locking her in a close hug as his manly scent wafted actively making her shy and eager simultaneously. But soon her drunkenness faded as she leaned her face and rested herself on him, before asking in a slightly low gloomy tone.
“…are you leaving now?”
Kei hated himself to be happy to hear her disappointment, but this signified how much Kaori needed him just like Kei, who also wanted to spend each moment of his life with his two lovers. Of course, he didn’t want to make her or Karen sad but he can’t settle down right now.
Caressing her back, he sighed deeply before replying in a soft tone.
“If I am going to inject my essence into Earth then I have to do some preparation and arrange protection so this realm doesn’t face any unfavorable circumstances during its most vulnerable phase. It will take time but maybe at the end of this year, I might begin the evolution. It’s just I hope the earthen organization can prepare them until that time.”
Kaori heard each of his words and even though she wanted she couldn’t even comprehend how many heavy burdens he carries. Compared to him Kaori was just fooling around these years after she was renowned with the title of General and got settled as the strongest vanguard of Japan.
Kaori always thought that she has hundreds of roles to play and keep things in order so everything can remain peaceful however now she understood how small her perception was, but not anymore. Thanks to Kei she now knows where she stands and how much she requires to grow to even become a meat shield for Kei when he would need support.
“Don’t worry, Kei. You are offering the biggest help humanity can ever ask for. The rest would be done, so do what is needed and please be safe out there.”
Her hazelnut eyes looked extremely delicate and alluring in this dim light under the starry sky as Kei found himself being drowned in them and losing connection with reality. For him, only Kaori could be seen at this moment and he absolutely loved what he saw.
Leaning slightly he pecked on her lips gently, which took her off-guard but other than showing a mild blush, Kaori didn’t say anything and even tip-toed to return the kiss with another sweet peck.
Both of them stared at each other in comfortable silence under the beautiful night sky as the gentle breeze brushed passed them every now and then. The silence was shortly outlived as Kei suddenly recalled something and asked in a slightly louder tone compared to before.
“Ah..that reminds me. How is Ryuuta? I have received a heck ton of messages and calls for him ever since I walked in coverage.”
Kei took out his phone and saw that there were fifty-plus messages and around two dozen calls from Ryuuta and some from his connections spread over the globe. He had two specific cells for both of his identities which he have tampered with with the help of one of the most brilliant minds on earth so that no one can track him. However, even if someone takes a hold of his identity, Kei really didn’t care much.
“I have told him that you currently are with your aunt and uncle in Hokkaido. If he pesters then I will have a talk with him.”
“Nah it’s okay.”
Kaori raised her brows as she walked along with Kei toward the railing as she continued to look at Kei who had his eyes drawn to the city illuminated in the clear view. In his gaze, there seemed a peculiar warmth and his following words told the reason for such a look.
“Ryuuta is my first and genuine friend. I don’t want him to think anything different of me so let me handle him and continue this friendship as long as possible.”
Kaori had no idea that Ryuuta held such importance in Kei’s heart which made her elated, at the same time slightly jealous as well. She knows how Kei has been with her brother ever since childhood but before she thought that it was because Kei was not good with socializing which was why he had limited his friend list.
But being such an entity that has lived for so long and had practically people dying to have any kind of relationship with him, but still had so less connection signified how much Kei treasured his friendship with Ryuuta.
Smiling, she also rested her arms on the railing as she spoke in a slightly sarcastic tone.
“What about the school, Kei-kun? Despite being so old, you still haven’t graduated~”
“Hey! That’s mean…”
