38. First daily/weekly mission released

After leaving Yuria at her home, Max also returns to go back his.

"Should I erase it or not?" Max stood at the front door of his house, Max can smell the scent of Yuria's perfume which is lingering on his body, and with a woman's institution, it's impossible for them not to notice it, not to mention the sixth sense of a woman in love.

"Forget it, It will be troublesome if I have to erase  it every time." Max can wipe this scent off by manipulating mana around it but if he has to do it daily, it will be a lot of work and it's not like he is going to hide his woman from each other like other MCs. Max also thinks he can use this in his favor. So without further ado, he entered the house without erasing Yuria's scent.

"I am home." After Max changed his shoes and put on scandals, Then he walked straight towards a dining room.

"Hey, there you are, where were you? We are waiting for you to start. See I was the one who cooked breakfast today." Takaki is the first one to react and pull the chair for Max to seat on.

She looks a little tired but there was a heartfelt smile on her face and The charm of a mature woman radiating from her can instantly arouse primal instinct in man. Her face also becomes beautiful, If before she is not as good-looking as Hope now she is above in looks than her.

"Yeah sorry not informing mom, I was gone for walk. Can you serve it to me now I can't wait to taste the food you make"

Max is also surprised by her changes and also understands how powerful is this dual technique.

Ai who was standing side of a wall was surprised. She becomes annoyed seeing Takaki's actions because she sees how Max will react to her actions, He either ignores her or just walks off from the table without eating, She already cooked a different dish for Max but unexpectedly Max didn't get angry but even eager to eat with her.

'Is master have a fever?' Ai thought to herself but quickly denied it because he did act differently when he is sick but current Max didn't sick at all, So Ai got confused but she didn't dare to ask, She knows her place when and where to talk.

So Max, Takaki, and Kaguya seating in their respective seats. Ai was there to help them serve food. Max wanted to ask her to join them but he knew she will deny that request.

"Madam, I will leave now, If you need anything you can call me." After serving Ai is ready to leave to do other chores. This is the rule of the house, After serving as a servant will leave a room so people can talk privately and no information about it will leak outside. Ai asked Takaki because she holds the highest power between the 3 of them.

"Ok Ai, You don't have to do chores now, You go take a rest." Takaki was in a happy mood, So she let Ai rest she still like this girl very much might be more than her bio-daughter.

"Ok madam" Ai also does not act pretentious, She politely accepts this offer, Her body is still weak mentally not physically.

"So do you have a good night?" Takaki asked Max this question casually but she was quite nervous about it.

*Cough* *Cough*

Before Max says anything Kaguya chokes on her food, She is caught off guard by this question, This question does not sound strange to others but She who was present there know ls what this question represented.

"Are you okay?" Max quickly come to her and smoothed her back, He also use his medical knowledge to ease her pain.

"*Ahem* I am okay... thank you." Kaguya feels weird, After what Max did to her last night, she should be disgusted by the mere sight of him but she feels happy when she see him caring for her. She still hates what Max did to her but she didn't have any disgust towards Max. She kinda likes this gentle Max than a cold one.

"You should be careful while eating because of you Max has to leave his table." Takaki is angry, She became jealous that Kaguya make Max this worried. She didn't consider her as her daughter, So for her, she is just another woman trying to steal Max from her. She has yet to figure out who is "she" in Max's mouth, So she didn't want others popping up to make trouble.

"Ok...mom." Her illusion shattered, She was once again reminded of her place in the house. This is the reason she started to hate Max but as she got older she also understood Max was also a victim but she rather lives in the illusion that Max takes everything away from her than accept her biological mother doesn't want her.

This time however she didn't blame Max as always but hardened her heart and accept it. She even hesitated to call Takaki a mom but she still could bear not to call her mom.

"Mom, can you boil me some eggs?" Max didn't intervene. He knows decades of rift didn't go to fill in just a few words, So lighten the atmosphere he needs to send Takaki away from Kaguya for a minute.

"Ok, how you wanted hard boil or soft?" Takaki didn't hesitate and quickly walked towards the kitchen, She didn't want to let go of any opportunity to please Max.

"Anything will be fine." Max answerd her as she leaves the dining hall.

"Want my help with it?" Max didn't ask her she was okay or not? Because that would be a stupid question, A biological mother didn't care about her child's life and death will scar that child, So in this situation, it's better to give a helping hand than to comfort her, Because no amount of comfort will be enough fill void in her heart.

"How? I tried everything, She just refused to acknowledge me as her daughter *sniff*" Kaguya trying so hard not to break down in front of Max, She has a very strong personality, She is not good at asking for help from others but this time she is desperate.

If Takaki always is this way, she might not be this desperate but before she was sent abroad, There were super close, Takaki use to care for her like she now does for Max but everything changed when she got back. Takaki didn't even remember her name. Since then Kaguya determined that she will get her mother back. So she tried everything from buttering her up to self-harm but nothing make Takaki notice her.

"That my problem how I do it, But what can I get in return doing this for you?" Max maintains a high-cold personality, So Kaguya does not get too cocky because if she used her brian it will be a headache to deal with it.

"Wh-what do you want?" Kaguya's face blushed, She have an idea of what Max will ask for, After all, he did that to her. Yet she didn't mind as long as she get her old mother back it was well worth it and it will not seem bad to it with Max.

"What are you thinking? I need to do as I said for the time being." Max knocked lightly on her head, It's not he didn't want to take advantage of this but her help will be more profitable for him.

"Ouch, that's hurt, Why did you hit me?" She feels wronged, It's not her mind is dirty but his actions were that extreme, So they started quarreling like normal siblings, This might be the normal thing that happens in both of their lives in quite some time.

Kaguya's mood also lift, Even they were quarreling there was a bright smile on her face.

"Hum that what I thought." Max got distracted by system notification and stopped talking but for Kaguya, she thought Max give up.

"Forget about this, Do we have a deal?" Max didn't correct her, He let her celebrate little victory.

"Hum oka-"

"Stop first think carefully because once you agree you can't back down, You have to do anything I say and I will help you to get your relationship with your mother back, but if you break a deal consequences will not be light, Now I ask you again, do we have a deal?"

Max didn't like people going back from their words, So he warned Kaguya to tread carefully.

"I know, *Deep breath* *Exhale*, and I agree to it, as long as you help me with to recover my relationship with her, I will do as you say, no question ask."

Kaguya knows that it's safer to make deal with a devil than Max but in desperation, she has to do this, She didn't think Max lying to her because she saw with her own eyes how doting Takaki is for Max plus what she saw last night still fresh in her mind.

She who is blessed by having photographic memory remembers each word they said and act they did yesterday, Which constantly played in her mind last night, because of that she didn't even sleep the whole night. There are dark circles around her eyes but she hides them with pretty good makeup skills.

"So it's deal then." Max extended his hand for the handshake to close the deal.

"Yes, it's a deal." Kaguya shakes hands with Max to also close the deal.

"Okay, So now go seat below the dining table and wait for my instructions." After the deal is complete, Max gives his first command to Kaguya after all there is a mission to complete.

"???" Kaguya has a question mark on her face, She didn't know why Max suddenly make her do this weird thing.

"Don't you hear what I said?" Max's voice got cold once again remaining her who is she dealing with, So without any questions, she go below the table and wait for his instructions.

She dares not to follow through with the deal, She sees what happens to the people who break their deals with Max. Death will become a luxury for them.

"Max, I cook both ways, tell me which one you like?"

After Kaguya get down, Max also moved things on the table. When Takaki entered there was not a single thing on the table.

"Hey, why there is no foo- *Ayeahhh*" Takaki was in confusion then suddenly she lifted by Max and put it on the table. In a surprise, she didn't stop herself from yelling.

"I like those two ." Max seated on his seat and pointed towards the two enormous jingling things on Takaki.

"Max wait someone will walk in." Takaki realizes why Max put her on the table and becomes shy, But she is also afraid of someone seeing them like this, she didn't care a bit but if Max as an heir of a family doing this to his mother will leak out, It will disasters to his reputation and he might even lose the inheritance rights.

"No one will come "mom"." Max now controls all the hidden spies and bodyguards plus With geass and system detection not even fly can sneak in with him knowing about it.

"??????"

Below the table, Kaguya's mind is filled with full of question marks.
