"Shadow extraction? Necromancy Job? Even Telekinesis? The system now l can't decide whether to love you or to hate you."
Max now has conflicted emotions towards the system. He Hates it because he doesn't like other's forcing him to do things but love it cause any of this reward is the dream of countless people including him.
Just thinking about him standing in front of his dead opponent stylishly with a cold look rise his hand and say "Arise" enough to make him excited and happy even more than having sex.
"System I love you so much" That Shadow Extraction skill breaks all his defence, Although Max is angry at the system at first but who can still be angry after receiving the gift they always wanted, So now he decided to treat the system as "rude" gym trainer and become strong then retaliate later finding a good opportunity.
[H-Host it's not that special, I don't do much hehe.] System attitude changed 180⁰ From rude to shy in love. That sweet voice also trembles when the system says this to Max in the end there is even a shy laugh.
"Umm, *sigh* forget it. The system adds 100 points to Strength, Agility, Speed." Max wanted to ask the system why its personality is so volatile but he does not ask for that exact reason.
Max think a little and conclude that although the system gets emotions but it doesn't know how to use them it just acts as it feels like if angry then angry if happy then happy.
Between Max conversion with system car arrive at front of the restaurant.
This hotel is not that big or that luxurious but this is the closest good restaurant to Grace office.
Max looked at the sleeping beauty on his shoulder who sleeping so peacefully that disturbing her might be considered a sin.
Even if she is sleeping that peaceful her hands never let go of him like afraid of him leaving her. That makes his heart warm.
"*Hum* So this is how it feels to be loved? This kinda nice feeling."
Max become a little emotional cause in his both lifetime this is the first time he genuinely felt loved by someone not just for their own gains.
Max raised his other hand then moved in front of her face to pick a strand of hair that was on her face and put it back behind her ear.
Max doesn't take his hand back, He caresses her face with his slender fingers with a little smile on his face.
Because his this action Grace wake up. Her eyelids flutter a little before she slowly opens them . At first, she little confused but when she turned her head and looked at Max beside her.
The moment she sees him her eyes shine and she gives a heartfelt happy smile to Max.
"Did I wake you up?" When Max saw her smile he was stunned for a few moments then also smiled back at her and asked.
Grace also notice his moments and because of this smile on her face become even more widespread. She hugged his arm and rubbed her face on it like a cat.
"I take this as no then." Max run his free hand on her head smoothing her hair.
"Let's go to eat ok," Max said in a pampering voice. At this moment looking at her cute actions, he wants to spoil her.
"*Humm*" She just hummed lazily might be because she just woke up from sleep.
"Hehe" Max just chuckled shaking his head. When the driver opens the car door.
Max put his feet on the ground move arm that Grace holding around her waist and other hand hooked her legs then smoothly took her out of the car in a princess hug.
Grace also subconsciously let go of his hand and wrap her arms around his neck.
Normally it's hard to do this but Max already is 10× times stronger than a normal person. So for him, it's piece of cake.
Here Grace realizes what Max has done. Her face turns red visible to the naked eye. she buries her face in Max's arms.
Surprisingly people around them just watch them and go away without bothering them. It's not reasonable after all Max charm is there. But Max used geass so people not bothering him.
"M-Max put me down please everybody is watching." Grace only see that people watching them before she buries herself in Max's arms without seeing this scene, so she says it out of shyness. She has a thin face of course it's only when she is outside.
Looking at her like this made a resolve in Max's heart about what the system said stronger.
He lived his whole in darkness but now he knows what might feel like he doesn't want to go back to that darkness ever again.
He will do anything even if he has to become a villain he will be one.
After all, you can spend your whole life in darkness without a problem but the moment you know what light is like that darkness becomes unbearable even for a second.
In Max thinking he already come to the entrance of the restaurant. Max let Grace down from his hug cause she can't handle her shyness.
Max looked at her like this and couldn't connect her with Grace who deep throat it on the first try. They are the polar opposite of each other.
"Why are staring at me?" Grace couldn't take Max gaze anymore and asked.
"Nothing you look so beautiful." Max just pull out the standard scumbag line god knows where he learns that from.
"Liar" Grace just turned her face other side and pouted but a smile at the corner of her mouth indicates that she is happy.
Max laughed inside in his heart looking duplicity of a woman, She liked yet act as she hate it.
Max and Grace come to the reception and Max are just about to book a private room but he notices a duo of mother and son enter the restaurant and frozen.
"How come they are here?" Max thought in his mind.
(A/N : Max going to be the villain for men and hero for women. Also, I notice that the eating place called a restaurant and not a hotel(Where I am live they called hotels) So I changed to a restaurant.)
