Blissful(ly): Unaware

A/N: Honestly, in the Avatar lore, there are not many times you see a bender using a weapon. But it is stated that a weapon or a tool can often allow a bender to focus their bending and channel it more thoroughly. I may be wrong, but if you have other theories and why not every bender uses a weapon or tool, for instance— hammer-earthbending, staff/fan-airbending, and so on, then let me know.

"You look awfully focused." A sweet voice broke Nik out of his thoughts as he looked to his side, smiling at the two women who finally returned.

"You should have gone a bit farther," Nik's words caused the duo to purse their lips. Already aware of his heightened hearing, Suki made a note to try and change in the distance she felt reasonable to diminish the reach of his senses and Katara seemed to agree with the notion but in the end, it was merely shuffling of clothes.

"This is just getting ridiculous," Suki muttered while Nik agreed with a hum, "Yeah, it's strange..."

His senses, according to his physical stats, shouldn't be this dangerous but it seemed limited to his hearing only and he felt that this was affected by some other factor that should be controllable but he just had not found it yet.

But these matters were for some another time. Instead, Nik turned to admire Katara and Suki.

Katara still wore her hair in a braid with two loops forming from her bangs while her body was covered by white clothing. It wasn't a bikini for a swimwear, that Nik was sure of. Katara had white strips tied around her breasts and thighs only to be further covered by a piece of clothing that acted as a bikini skirt of a sort. Her choker still remained on her neck and her beautiful body was now exposed for the most parts to Nik's and Suki's gaze.

Suki, on the other hand, didn't have this much of a complicated attire. Instead, she wore a blue-ringed bikini and bluish shorts that ended by the upper regions of her thighs to be similarly covered by a light blue stripe of a skirt, and Suki this time let her short auburn hair down.

{A/N: this is the usual color scheme of Kyoshi island and since Suki never got caught in boiling rock, her clothing till the fire nation arc will resemble her origins.}

"Hmm?" Katara smiled, her brows arching up with a sly expression taking over, "Is there something wrong?"

'Wouldn't the white clothing turn see-through?' This was Nik's question, but he didn't voice and decided to let observation answer his doubts later than sooner. Instead, he hummed a bit loudly as if forming a reply.

"I guess... I feel lucky," Nik smiled, "Who wouldn't, actually?"

His words caused Katara to roll her eyes but still smiling, she stepped into the edges of the pond with a sharp squeak, "So refreshing!"

"Come on, we'll have some actual waterbending practice today" Katara turned to look at Nik.

"I thought we already were having it," Nik shrugged, stepping into the pool while he let out a snicker, "It really is refreshing. Suki get in here, too!"

"Why?" Suki narrowed her eyes.

"Because... you're already wearing something fitting for swimming?" Nik looked back with a confused expression but the smirk that soon formed on his lips revealed to Suki that he knew what she wanted to hear and he simply wouldn't. With a scoff, Suki entered the pond, too. Her expression visibly relaxed as the cold of the pond helped to clear her mind from the frustration of getting interrupted last night. In fact, what truly frustrated Suki was that 'it' didn't stop based on her closure but Katara's movement instead.

Suki soon submerged herself and leaned against the grassy edge of the pond to relax while Nik and Katara got cracking down on their practice. With this high of a source of water, the duo began to try a more skilled technique which simply meant letting go of control of water while the partner will pick up where it was left off.

At this moment, Katara and Nik moved similarly. Their arms stretched out and their torso waved in a circular manner as the considerable ball of water would move around them. In between, Katara would let go of the control and Nik would pick it up. The first few times didn't work out well but as they continued, both of them began to have a greater sense of timing they didn't just do it with a ball of water.

Katara moved on to create a small tide that reached Nik only for him to push it back. The back and forth of the tide was sensational to them, especially Nik, as he had never done waterbending in this manner and he realized how just creating a wall of sludge for such a long time was not only draining to his energy but also not well-versed with more effective waterbending.

But soon, Nik realized how wrong he was about the wardrobe malfunction he had expected to occur. Katara's clothes, though drenched, were layered enough to not have any of the usual effects.

"Hey, check this out," After training, as Katara decided to rest for a bit, Nik called out with the two war fans in his hands.

"You know, the problem of not being able to control small droplets well enough," Nik smiled, "I just thought that it worked better with the fan."

The first time he bent was also with a fan so Nik wasn't eager to remove a weapon's effect on bending.

Curiously stared on by Katara and Suki, Nik exhaled deeply and concentrated while unfolding his fans. With a single wave, the water on his body and shorts flew out, leaving him dried while it collected into a ball of water.

'Son of a gun, it worked?' Nik smiled then without waiting for Katara's and Suki's input and still having quite a bit of reserve for bending, he closed his fans while he recalled the sensation of how he had boiled the water seamlessly.

'It was... fluster? No, something more... just a pump of excitement?' Nik frowned. The waterbending scroll did not go over the temperature change of the water but Katara revealed that she could also change the temperature of the water more easily based on her emotions once she started practicing waterbending by herself.

*Ssssssss*

The ball of water bubbled, almost threatening to escape Nik's control. It was getting hotter and thus harder to contain but focusing on the ball, Nik gritted his teeth, keeping a check on the sensation he was going through and the water began to evaporate at a pace visible to the naked eye, no, more like it escaped in a hot gush of steam.

Finally, once the ball of water was gone, Nik sat down on the ground, huffing softly while still gazing at the spot and then glancing down at his fans.

"Say, Katara... did you ever try using an item? Like Aang and his staff... or a fan?"

"I... never did think about it..." Katara mumbled before shaking her head, "No, that's beside the point! Did you actually know a weapon would work?"

"I bent the first time with fans so had a hunch but it's not too different. I just felt... more focused with them, I guess."

Before Katara could add, she heard the sound of water splashing slightly as Suki pulled herself out. Drenched, she swept her hair back with not a strand over her face while her characteristical grin finally managed to reach her lips, "Then I suppose we have to train better regarding fans and even other weapons. Don't worry, I was waiting for the moment you will ask me to."

"I didn't," Nik narrowed his eyes.

"Shush now, if you speak, I'll just have to add a punishment. You know the rules, right?" Suki smiled. Her words confused Katara but what was even more confusing is the fact that Nik seemed to understand the intent behind Suki's words.

"I'm glad we're on the same page," Nik chuckled, standing up quick enough before suddenly waving his fans again and pulling water from Suki's body, causing her to shoot an annoyed glare. Seeing this, Nik dispersed the water into the pond while inquiring, "Oh, would you have wanted me to bring out a towel instead?"

Again, Katara tilted her head with a strange expression touching her face, "Or I could have done it myself? I think towels are a bit unnecessary."

'No... he meant that he would be the one doing the cleaning with the towel,' Suki rolled her eyes but still ended up imagining what it would feel like and blushed nonetheless. After all, Nik had already seen her naked and even now his gaze would sometimes cause her to recall how close he was to her body last night.

"Enough talking! And remember, not a squeak!"

'But I allowed squeaks...' Nik whined internally yet he began to train with Suki like usual. Aside from bending, Nik was also interested in the art of healing but no matter how much he tried, his knuckles only got wet after training instead of being healed so even if he could pull off some things, it did not excuse him from training on both the ends.

Seeing Nik and Suki now taking their daily routine, Katara began to hum a soft tune and closed her eyes to enjoy the cold water around her, causing her to reminisce about her time in the Southern Tribe after things had gotten calm.

Suki glanced at Katara and then back at Nik. He had memorized the foundational moves of the technique taught to the Kyoshi Warriors and after a round of exercising came the performance of these moves under Suki's scrutiny so that she can point out any obvious flaws before moving onto more advanced techniques with weapons that Nik was still learning and then finally, the spar.

"Hmm, here, keep your shoulders straight," Suki suddenly smirked and walked behind Nik, holding his shoulders and straightened his... already straight torso. However, her hands slowly traced down to his hands gently as she whispered, "Let's see how long can you go without a sound this time."

Clearly, she was out for retribution!

Taking on her challenge, Nik glanced at her and looked away silently, and then performed the next set of moves until Suki stopped him.

"Hmmm, this can turn out for the better," she hummed thoughtfully, her fingers trailing from his chest while her other hand pressed on his inner thigh dangerously close to his crotch. Her warm exhales on his exposed chest only made her smile slyly as she found the three spots slowly but surely hardening.

"Hmm, Nik, do you want to say something?" Suki looked up, her large eyes willed with witty charm as she clearly enjoyed putting Nik in such a position not knowing...

'Well, yeah, this is hot.' Nik merely returned a gentle smile, not paying any heed to the obvious reactions of his hardening nipples and cock within his shorts. But Suki did. Although she still kept a confident expression since the roles were reversed yet again, she couldn't help herself from glancing down. Drying his shorts was a mistake just for this moment but Nik didn't want to risk a cold in this kind of world where people could move elements to their will.

Seeing Nik still silent and completing the moves regardless of the raging hard-on that became more prominent as the fabric of his shorts would give more leeway, Suki felt a little gratified. Nik has always been a quick learner if not anything else.

However...

Soon, during the advanced moves where even Suki had to pay actual focus, Nik came to a stop.

"What happened?" Suki frowned but then came to a shocked silence.

Pitching a tent in his shorts to the point of tugging away a small portion of the waistband from Nik's waist was his erection that made it harder for him to move. As Suki looked away, she felt Nik's stare turn more intense but seeing him still play by her rules, she felt a little relieved and more active at the same time.

"Hmm, I suppose... we can skip this part of the training and move onto sparring," Suki mumbled thoughtfully but still snuck glances at Nik, trying to gauge his reaction. Seeing his eager nod and the sweet grin because of her suggestion, Suki found herself titillated.

Excited.

But...

She glanced at Katara once again.

Last night Katara proved to be a heavy sleeper, but what about now? She's merely not paying attention because of resting but that could change at any moment.

"I... have a special sparring session planned. Turn around... and walk towards that thicket!"

Suki exclaimed suddenly and as Nik moved in the appointed direction, Suki called out to Katara, "Hey, I'm going to train Nik for the awareness of surroundings a bit farther away. Will you be alright?"

Katara opened her eyes and lazily stretched her arms before looking back, "Hmm? Yeah, I will be fine. You two shouldn't stop your training— wait!" Katara's sudden stare caused Suki's heart to thump against her chest.

"What's up?" Suki questioned as she walked over to Katara only to see the dark-skinned sweetheart blush slightly, "Um... you should try to... press them a bit."

"Hmm?" Suki tilted her head in confusion only to see Katara dodging her gaze and then pointing towards a specific part of her body.

Looking down, Suki blushed slightly as she found her nipples poking through the fabric, causing her to hurriedly nod, "Thanks..."

"No problem," Katara finally grinned, "And don't let Nik have a chance to tease you... if she actually feels that he can just say whatever he wants then..."

Gazing at Katara's worried expression, Suki couldn't help but nod, however, sigh internally.

'I'm afraid... it's way past teasing... wait, was he aware how I looked at the moment?' Suki suddenly realized she had more than just hands in the cause of Nik's erection.
