A Mother’s Love

After they had enjoyed their fill of getting pampered, be it exotic cuisines or amazing massages, the group had to face a short army of fire nation not too far away. Of course, they knew better to escape than force their way through.

Nik's abilities could be deduced to a certain extent. He had always made inanimate objects disappear until now in front of the enemy so there wasn't a hint of any armored vehicles or the likes. They had lost too many resources against Nik!

Losing their tail, the group continued to move towards Omashu without many issues. Mai's silent treatment only really affected Suki but otherwise, nothing of note happened between them. Soon, they came to purchase five Ostrich Horses. These beautiful beasts had greater durability and their only requirement was enough water and very little food.

With that, their journey became a whole lot simpler and more efficient. Nothing could compare to Appa but the group was making quite the journey to Omashu. Given their speed, it wouldn't take longer than a week to cross the region while if they would have been walking that distance, it would have taken a little over two weeks.

Even their return to Omashu was purely... well, observational. Suki, for one, wanted to see if the children had gotten better or not and Katara wanted to question Bumi more about the various prisons he may know of.

Mai... well, she felt complicated. She had successfully resisted the enticement but then... after a brief period of satisfaction, she felt all the more bored knowing the enjoyment she could have gained by NOT resisting the devil's call. But whenever she thought of her mother, it was hard not to resist these welling desires.

She hadn't felt such a way... well, since she was a kid and had a crush. Of course, she was above childish crushes but that made it harder for her.

Yue didn't have any opinion. She would travel with Nik, or be with him in his personal space. He was quite literally her new home and she had simply nothing to complain about. She never had many aspirations and even if the new abilities and desire for having basic strength were ignited due to circumstances, Yue would rather want to see his personal space... turned into something more. Something she could live in with civilization. The idea had been shared with Nik and while she was worried that he may reject it, Nik happened to be intrigued by the idea.

He always felt something pressing in the back of his mind... something he wanted to share but also, not at the same time. Yue's idea gave him hope about something and he wanted it seen through.

Finally, Nik was just hoping to meet Michi... maybe discuss a few things and get a few more of her artistic scrolls for dry days.

He was but a simple man and the traditional form of sending nudes truly enticed him.

With that, their return to Omashu was uneventful...

Zhao may have been a persistent bastard but with him gone, most of the bounty posters of the group had lost meaning. The Late Admiral could have predicted their journey due to their constant run-throughs but others under the Phoenix King couldn't and surely, Aang and his group weren't silent. The sudden successful rebellion of Water Tribe and Omashu, not to mention disastrous losses during the end of the war where Nik went on a devouring spree had even impacted a power as mighty as the tyrant of the entire world.

There had even been news of an uprising from civilian Earthbenders.

The newly formed Freedom Fighters, the leader of which— Jet had become the notorious underling of the Blue Devil Tyrants near the base of all power, Ba Sing Se.

The shift in strength was being measured and Nik's group simply didn't attract as much attention as they'd expected with them constantly avoiding the major towns much to Mai's chagrin. While Sokka and others had relented to her demands, Mai was quite honestly in a more passive position when opposed to Nik.

Making her feel strangely helpless... and... quiveringly tame.

"Hahaha *Khnnk* Welcome! You terrible kids really put that wide-eyed Phoenix to a shame!" Bumi's rock arms spread open as he wore a jade green imperial robe with a jeweled hat as his quirky laugh did surprise Yue despite all the descriptions. While the Princess of the Water Tribe stares at Bumi wondrously, the tile on which Nik stood slid and he fell into Bumi's tough grasp, experiencing one hell of a hug.

"Especially, you! *Khnnk* *Khnnk*," he snorted, "You've rocked both the worlds, eh? Where were you when I was young? Aang, I, and you would have raised hell!"

Granted that even now, the three of them were at a distinctly different age, Nik smiled wryly and didn't refute Bumi, "We could have." But always humbled by the quirky king with how he had overcome his disabilities, Nik added, "But you should know that I could only rock both the world due to special circumstances."

Both of them knew full well what both the worlds meant and Bumi broke into a fit of giggles, "True, true! Hehe, *khnnk*" His brawny, earthen hand patting Nik's back as he visibly shuddered and whispered, "Been waiting for all of you to return. I won't keep you longer. Oh, and don't bother asking me about teaching you Earthbending and more recently, Lavabending. It's quite easy, eh?"

Snorting, the king added as if capable of seeing through Nik completely, "Just like I said Aang. Find someone who listens to Earth... keke, I'm just an ancient imitation!"

With that, Bumi was on his way...

He just slipped into the ground leaving others shocked. His retainers rushed within the palace once again with annoyance clear on their faces and Nik looked back at his group with a stunned expression.

"Did that just really happen?... I thought we'd get to stay in the palace."

"You shall," Michi, who hadn't said or moved from her position finally spoke. Aside from the guards at the entrance, it was only just them here right now but despite all the knowing glances that were exchanged, Michi managed an elegant smile as she greeted Nik and others, "It's been a long time since I've seen you all. Nik, I hope the Avatar is doing fine... Katara, Suki, you two look well. And you are?"

She glanced at Yue who promptly greeted in return with a short bow, "Yue, ma'am... um, I met their group in the Northern Water Tribe. They helped me greatly and I decided to move alongside them."

Nik truly wanted to cut the pretentious greeting short by planting a lasting kiss on Michi. What stopped him was a smile that still wasn't a smile that was directed at Mai as Michi questioned, "Mai, honey. You must be tired... but where is Tom-Tom?"

Their expression stiffened before Mai contemplated for a second and replied without a shift in expression, "I tried my hardest... he snuck away with Avatar... there are two more individuals with them, both of them proficient warriors and Tom is... well, he can fight me."

There wasn't too deep of a falsitude in her words but it still made Michi... incensed beyond belief!

She was excited to meet all of them.

ALL of them!

Tom-Tom's disappearance only earned him more severe spankings that would be dealt the moment this fierce mother lays her eyes on him.

Right then and there.

Recollecting herself, Michi drawled, "Right... then come this way."

Her expression wasn't visibly different but her body language had turned for the worse.

What should have been an exciting reunion turned terrible in mere moments.

---

Michi hadn't gone to Nik the first chance she got. Even if she didn't know about his boosted endurance and capabilities, she still regarded him as weary from the travel and wanted others to freshen up. Their rooms weren't all that away from Michi's residence. After all, she too was a guest in the royal palace.

However, once enough time had passed, she turned to knock on Mai's door instead. Something, her daughter responded to promptly and opened up with an expression that said she was expecting Michi to appear in front of her.

With a visibly bland expression and tone, something Michi was used to at this point but which still ached her heart, Mai spoke quietly, "Please... come in, Mom."

The more informal term, however, reduced that aching to the bare minimum as Michi managed a smile and walked into Mai's room.

The decoration isn't something that one might expect of a noblewoman's residence but then again, Mai wasn't interested in more external displays of luxury, for instance, terribly expensive scrolls of poetry.

The Mother-Daughter pair sat beside one another in complete silence until Michi eventually cleared her throat and began, "Mai... I want you to know that I don't blame you for Tom-Tom's sneaking away. Truly, once I get my hand on that boy..." she didn't complete her sentence but the ominous tone supplied enough. Instead, she surprisingly reached out to hold her daughter's hand. As Mai stiffened up, Michi whispered, "I know... I have done you wrong, Mai.

I want to blame your father for the strict discipline you had to go through but... I let it happen. I... what I allowed you to go through right in front of my eyes is a sin. A sin I will be terribly punished for in the afterlife..." Michi bit her lips as Mai kept her silence.

"I'm not asking for an apology. I couldn't hope for one, that much I have contemplated while you were away... but Mai, I... ehm, Rena told me that you... knew...

If you wish for it, I will not continue such things anymore," Michi whispered with resolve. Another reason why she didn't want her heart to melt by embracing Nik. She was excited by the possibility of romance... but what she deeply desired was a reconnection with her daughter.

Mai's breathing did go a bit uneven. Just one word... and it would end. She sensed her mother's resolve and knew she would indeed end things with Nik. But Mai wanted to ask and tell something first...

"Mom... I let Tom go..."

Mai looked up and locked gazes with the quivering woman, "I couldn't stop him the way I was barred constantly. I apologize. If you wish to discipline me, I won't mind." Her gaze, by the end of it, turned dull once again. A lifeless gaze that Mai had carried all her life.

"I would never hope to do so," Michi cupped her daughter's face and pulled her close, touching their forehead together, "And... it isn't your fault. I asked you to keep him safe... but don't I already know that this world will never be safe? We were in a castle, and still weren't safe... from your father."

Mai's body trembled as she continued, "You... were still with him when Nik met you... do you think what happened was wrong?"

Surprised, Michi chose to satiate all of Mai's questions on the matter regardless. Both of them were already women and Michi needed Mai more than the young one needed Michi.

So, without a hint of pain in her eyes, Michi began when Mai interrupted, "Please, don't lie..."

Pausing for a bit, Michi looked away from Mai and hung her head low. She let go of Mai's face and clenched her hands over her lap, whispering, "It... didn't feel wrong. It still doesn't. It shouldn't... that's what I feel, honey..."

"But he has—"

"Multiple partners, I know," Michi nodded with a hint of... well, Mai couldn't sense what Michi's gaze hid. The closest she could come to was hope. "But, he made me feel important. Young. Even outside the palace, the way he looked at me, Mai...

I know you weren't happy with Kai. Just as I wasn't happy with Ukano. Sometimes, just feeling the slightest bit important is what it takes to fall into this... sensational and chaotic abyss.

If I feel unwanted because of his other partners, we would leave one another's side but that is a risk in every relationship.

And you know," smiling softly, Michi looked back into Mai's gaze, "He made it clear and I agreed. There isn't a hint of... helplessness in me now that you're here. Now that he's here."

Mai gulped.

"So... he can sleep with absolutely anyone and you wouldn't..."

"I wouldn't," Michi shook her head, "But if you mind it. Just say the word. To me, you are more important, Mai."

"I..." Mai's throat and lips felt dry. She didn't know how to process these emotions. She just... didn't know what to do.

So, she blurted, "I had a mark of fertility, made a deal with the devilish spirit, and egged Nik on to breed me..."

Concisely.

Michi's own golden eyes bulged wide while Mai's stare turned more and more dumbfounded as to what she had just admitted.

Both of them looked into each other's eyes in silence. Seconds felt like an eternity. Both of their breaths turned shallower as Michi subconsciously held Mai's hands, "Could you explain it to me?"

But with how she was holding her daughter's hands, it felt more like an order than a request.

---

Nik napped peacefully until two knocks woke him up. He had been wanting to meet Michi after their return but truly, he didn't want to bother her at a terrible time and this just delayed him until he fell asleep. So, when he sensed a familiar presence on the door, he pulled the door open to find Michi waiting for him on the other side.

Not even giving him a chance to properly greet her with a pleasant smile, Michi rose to action by stepping forward and pressing her lips on his, her hands instantly pressed against his built chest and she noted the differences at that very moment. The eagerness in her heart soared. There was something strange about Michi, he noted, too.

But pushing such thoughts aside, Nik reached out for the door and close it only for her to gasp hotly into his ear, pushing her entire weight on him, "Keep it open... I want others to hear that you're with me."

Something was up. If Nik wasn't sure then, he was sure now.

There was an odd, extremely light scent to her but a familiar one regardless.

The scent of the Flower of Fertility...

After a moment's thought, Nik relented. There weren't many things that could destroy his mood so he leaned on his bed and the next second, allowed Michi to disrobe him as he did her. And soon enough, when he heard familiar pants not too far from the entrance, he only felt amused.

Admiring Michi's body as she beheld his in her gaze, Nik couldn't help but smile when he saw the familiar womb-shaped red totem over the flat of Michi's crotch. She wore nothing under her robes and dripped on him readily. Her patience thinned with every second as her gaze fully devoured Nik's delicious snack bar waiting for her with throbbing eagerness.

"Well?" Nik waggled his brows, revealing how much he had changed as he bent the juices of the mature mother's entrance with thought and sent a jolt of pleasure throughout Michi's body. What he didn't expect, however, was for Michi to suddenly fall over his chest with a shuddering gasp and orgasm out of nowhere. He knew it for a fact that... what he did couldn't be considered highly stimulative so that only made him feel that foul play was at work here.

"Nik~! Take me... hurry!" The mother begged, her expression desperate as her nails dug into his chest, hard enough to make him wince in pain as she drew blood.

Her tongue lolled in front of him while her lips parted with the desire for him to seal it. His warm, heated embrace made all her desires only increase several folds and her eyes revealed the amount of sheer lust coursing through her body.

"What did she do to you?" Nik questioned instead. His hands grabbed her butt and squeezed them harder and his voice was loud enough for their spectator to hear.

Between her gasps, Michi flushed till her tasteful breasts, "She... wanted me to go... nnngh~ through the same... to make me realize why... she wants you..."

With a wicked grin that literally put Michi in between a rock and a hard place, Nik chose to let go of her butt cheek and guide the tip of his cock against her entrance. Just when she thought Nik would provide her sweet relief, his cock glistened by her dripping pussy only rubbed against her entrance enticingly, "Then call her," Nik blew against Michi's lips, "If she wants you to experience it, make her enter the room and lock it herself.

There are no spirits this time around, honey. It's just you, me, and her."

She shuddered, her mewls turning desperate as Nik didn't even let her sit on top of him, effectively taking him balls deep as she moaned, "Mai— please, forgive me... I just want to get plowed! Honey!" She gasped, "Come inside darling," she directed to Mai then begged Nik, fervently kissing him and hotly whispering, "Cum deep inside of me~!"
