Chapter 54: The Stain on boobs (R-18)

The small dining room was bathed in the amber glow of the oil lamp, creating a sphere of intimacy that shut out the rest of the world. The air was thick with the savory aroma of braised pork, star anise, and the underlying, unspoken tension that had been building since Kai walked through the door.

Kai sat across from Ye Rou, his eyes dark and watchful over the rim of his bowl.

"This is delicious, Mom," Kai said, his voice low. He picked up a piece of the tender meat with his chopsticks, the dark sauce glistening in the light. "You really outdid yourself."

Ye Rou smiled, though she kept her eyes on her own bowl. She was eating mechanically, her heart still fluttering from the hug in the hallway. Every time she looked up, she met Kai’s gaze—intense, confident, and dangerously familiar. It reminded her too much of the dream-lover who had visited her last night.

"I'm glad you like it, Kai," she murmured, tucking a strand of loose hair behind her ear. "You need the energy. Fighting spirits... it must be draining."

"It makes a man hungry," Kai agreed. He chewed slowly, watching her lips move.

Ye Rou felt the weight of his stare physically. It felt like a touch. It made her skin prickle and her nipples tighten against the fabric of her loose house dress. She shifted in her chair, the wood creaking beneath her soft thighs.

She reached for a piece of pork. Her hand was trembling slightly—a nervous reaction to his presence.

She lifted the chopstick to her mouth.

Slip.

Her grip faltered. The succulent, sauce-drenched piece of pork slipped from the wood.

It didn't fall back into the bowl. It tumbled downward.

Splat.

It landed squarely on her chest.

The meat hit the exposed skin of her décolletage before sliding down into the deep, shadowed valley of her cleavage. It left a trail of dark, oily sauce across her pale skin and stained the rim of her dress before nesting right between her heavy breasts.

"Oh!" Ye Rou gasped, dropping her chopsticks. " clumsy... I..."

She flushed a deep crimson, looking down at the mess. The sauce was hot against her skin, but the embarrassment burned hotter. She reached for a napkin, her movements flustered and frantic.

"Don't move," Kai commanded.

His voice wasn't loud, but it stopped her instantly. It was the same tone he had used in the hallway—authoritative, dominant.

Ye Rou froze, her hand hovering halfway to her chest.

"You'll just smear it," Kai said smoothly. He stood up from his chair. The movement was fluid, predatory. He walked around the small table to her side. "Let me help."

"Kai, no, it's fine, I can—"

"Hush, Mom."

He was standing right next to her now. He loomed over her seated form, his shadow falling across her. He picked up the clean cloth napkin from the table.

Ye Rou looked up at him, her breath hitching in her throat. He was so close. She could feel the heat radiating from his body.

Kai leaned down.

He didn't hand her the napkin. He reached out.

"It went deep," Kai murmured, his eyes locked on the stain between her breasts.

He pressed the cloth against her skin.

Ye Rou sucked in a sharp breath as she felt his knuckles brush against the top of her breast. The cloth was rough, but his hand was hot.

Kai wiped the sauce from her collarbone first, moving slowly. Deliberately.

Then, he moved lower.

He pushed the napkin into her cleavage to retrieve the piece of meat. To do so, his hand had to invade the space between her breasts. The backs of his fingers pressed firmly against the soft, yielding flesh of her left breast, while his thumb grazed the right.

"Got it," Kai whispered, flicking the meat onto the table. "But the sauce... it's everywhere."

He didn't pull back. Instead, he pressed the cloth down again, rubbing the stain.

But he wasn't just rubbing the fabric. He was rubbing her.

He used the excuse of cleaning to mold his hand against the curve of her breast. He cupped the heavy underside, lifting the mass of flesh slightly as if to get a better angle.

"Kai..." Ye Rou whimpered, her hands gripping the edge of the chair until her knuckles turned white.

She should have pushed him away. She should have told him it was inappropriate. But the sensation paralyzed her. The warmth of his large hand seeping through the thin dress was intoxicating. It overlapped perfectly with the phantom touches from her dream.

"Hold still," Kai said, his voice thick. "I don't want to miss a spot."

He pressed his thumb into the soft meat of her breast, circling a spot of sauce near her nipple.

Rub. Press. Circle.

Through the fabric, he found the hard nub of her nipple. He brushed his thumb over it. Once. Twice.

Ye Rou’s head fell back against the chair. Her eyes fluttered shut. A jolt of electricity shot straight from her chest to her groin, which was already dampening in response.

"Is that... is that clean?" she breathed, her voice barely audible.

"Almost," Kai lied.

He discarded the napkin on the table. But he didn't remove his hand.

For a moment, he just held her breast. His palm fully cupped the soft mound, feeling the weight, feeling the frantic beating of her heart beneath the skin. He squeezed. Just a little. A test.

Ye Rou didn't pull away. She leaned into his hand, a subconscious surrender.

Kai smirked. The trap was sprung.

He slowly, agonizingly slowly, trailed his fingers up from her breast, over her collarbone, and to her neck. He wiped a final, imaginary drop of sauce from her throat with his thumb.

"All clean," Kai whispered, his face inches from hers.

He pulled back, the loss of contact leaving her skin cold and aching for more.

Ye Rou opened her eyes. They were hazy, unfocused, filled with a terrifying mix of guilt and desire.

Kai sat back down in his chair across from her. He picked up his chopsticks as if nothing had happened, as if he hadn't just fondled his stepmother at the dinner table.

"Eat up, Mom," Kai said, looking at her flushed face with dark amusement. "The food is getting cold."

Ye Rou stared at him, her chest heaving, her nipples throbbing against her dress. She picked up her chopsticks with trembling fingers, unable to look away from the hands that had just claimed her.

"Y-Yes..." she whispered. "Yes, Kai."
