Chapter 14: The Harem Squad
The Azure Wind Martial Academy was a sprawling complex of white stone and manicured gardens, but the atmosphere in the central plaza was anything but peaceful.
Kai stood in the center of the formation, ignoring the hundreds of eyes boring into his back. The news of his bet with the "Ice Queen" Li Hua had spread like wildfire. To the nobles, he was a walking corpse. To the commoners, he was a madman.
To Kai, they were all just background noise.
He checked his status. The [Dragon’s Vitality] buff was still active, giving his skin a faint, healthy luster and his posture an effortless dominance. He adjusted his academy robes, which felt tight across his chest and shoulders.
"Silence!"
An Elder with a long white beard floated down from the podium, his voice amplified by Qi.
"The time for the Group Allocation has arrived. You will be assigned to a four-person squad. You will live, train, and bleed with this squad for the next three years. Your mentor has been assigned."
The Elder waved his hand, and a massive scroll unfurled in the air, glowing with golden names.
Kai scanned the list, bored, until he found his name.
[Group 9]
Mentor: Instructor Han Rou
Member: Kai (Ye Family - Outer)
Member: Gu Ling (Gu Clan)
Member: Yun Xi (Commoner)
Member: Leng Yue (Leng Clan)
Kai raised an eyebrow. "Three female names?"
He looked around as the students began to shuffle toward their designated meeting spots. He walked toward the stone pillar marked '9'.
When he arrived, three distinct fragrances hit him before he even saw the faces.
Standing by the pillar were three young women who couldn't be more different, yet each was a stunning specimen of beauty.
The first, Gu Ling, was a firecracker. She had bright red hair tied in twin tails and wore a modified uniform with a skirt so short it barely covered her thighs. She stood with her hands on her hips, her expression one of pure annoyance. She was petite, but her legs were toned and smooth, wrapped in white thigh-high socks.
[Target: Gu Ling] [Archetype: The Bratty Noble] [Trait: Fire Temper]
The second, Leng Yue, leaned against the pillar, eyes closed. She had long, straight black hair and skin as pale as moonlight. She was tall, slender, and radiated an aura of "don't touch me." She held a long sword in her arms, her face a mask of icy indifference.
[Target: Leng Yue] [Archetype: The Ice Princess] [Trait: Sword Maniac]
The third, Yun Xi, was hiding slightly behind Leng Yue. She was a commoner like Kai, wearing the standard robes, but the robes were fighting a losing battle. She was short and timid, with big, round glasses and brown braids, but her chest was massive. Her breasts were easily F-cups, heavy and soft, straining against the fabric with every nervous breath she took. She clutched a book to her chest, which only emphasized her cleavage.
[Target: Yun Xi] [Archetype: The Shy Cow] [Trait: Hidden Lewdness]
"You have to be kidding me," Gu Ling snapped, glaring at Kai as he approached. "We get the pervert? The guy who challenged Instructor Li Hua? Great. Our group is doomed."
Kai smirked, stepping into the circle. "Nice to meet you too, Princess. Try not to fall in love with me too quickly."
"You—!" Gu Ling stomped her foot, her face flushing red.
Before the argument could escalate, a soft, trembling voice interrupted them.
"Umm... e-excuse me? Is this... is this Group 9?"
Kai turned.
Walking toward them was a woman who looked like she might faint at any moment. She wore the dark blue robes of an Instructor, but unlike Li Hua’s dominatrix vibe, this woman looked like a frightened rabbit.
She was young, perhaps only twenty-three or twenty-four. She had soft, wavy brown hair and large, watery eyes hidden behind thin-rimmed spectacles. Her face was beautiful in a gentle, scholarly way, but it was her demeanor that caught Kai’s attention. She was clutching a stack of papers to her chest so tightly her knuckles were white.
Her robe was loose, but as the wind blew, it pressed against her body, revealing a figure that was ripe, soft, and incredibly curvy. She had the body of a fertility goddess hidden under the robes of a librarian.
[Ding!]
[Target Identified: Instructor Han Rou] [Age: 24] [Status: Novice Teacher (Probation)] [Personality: Anxious / Clumsy / Submissive] [Measurements: 95 - 60 - 92 (Golden Ratio)]
"I... I am your mentor," Han Rou stammered, adjusting her glasses nervously. She refused to make eye contact, looking somewhere at their feet. "My name is... H-Han Rou. This is my first year teaching, so... please... let's do our best?"
She tried to bow politely, but in her nervousness, she dipped too low. The stack of papers in her arms spilled, scattering all over the cobblestones.
"Oh no!" Han Rou gasped, her face turning a bright, humiliated crimson. "I'm so sorry! I'm so clumsy!"
She immediately dropped to her knees to gather the papers.
Kai watched her.
As she crawled on the ground, bending over to pick up the scrolls, her robe hiked up in the back. The fabric pulled tight across her ass. It was round, plush, and jiggled softly with her frantic movements. From the front, as she reached forward, the loose neckline of her robe dipped.
Kai, standing above her, had a direct line of sight down her collar. He saw the creamy, pale swell of her breasts, pushing together as she moved her arms. She wasn't wearing a stiff undergarment like Li Hua; she was wearing something soft, allowing her breasts to sway heavily.
The female students just watched, Gu Ling rolling her eyes.
Kai stepped forward.
"Let me help you, Teacher," Kai said, his voice smooth and commanding.
He crouched down beside her. He didn't just pick up papers. He positioned himself right next to her, his shoulder brushing against hers.
Han Rou flinched at the contact, looking up at him with wide, teary eyes. "T-Thank you... student..."
"Kai," he corrected, picking up a scroll. He handed it to her, but he held onto it for a second too long, forcing her to tug it gently. His fingers grazed hers. Her skin was hot.
"You're shaking, Teacher Han," Kai whispered, leaning in so only she could hear. He used his Charisma to project an aura of calm dominance. "Don't worry. I'll take care of the group. And I'll take care of you."
Han Rou’s breath hitched. She looked at this student—this boy who exuded a dangerous, masculine heat—and felt a strange flutter in her stomach.
"O-Okay..." she squeaked.
Kai stood up, offering her a hand. She took it. Her hand was soft, boneless. He pulled her up, pulling her slightly too close, so she stumbled into his chest for a brief second before regaining her balance.
"Thank you, Kai," she whispered, her face burning.
Kai smiled, turning to look at his three female teammates. The fiery brat, the ice queen, and the shy milk-cow. And now, the trembling, submissive teacher.
Group 9, Kai thought, his tongue wetting his lips. This isn't a squad. It’s a buffet.
