Chapter 244 – Bloodlust
“Wait, is this bitch horny?” Asked Noah in surprise.
“Of course she is. What did you think she was? Angry?” Answered Ugy with a conceited voice. Noah could not see him but could imagine the smug face on the plush bastard's face.
“I am sorry, Master. I can’t help it.” Whispered Cassandra, thinking this question was addressed to her.
Noah opened his mouth to say something but closed it in bewilderment. What the hell was going on? This whole time he indeed assumed that she was angry, but apparently it was not so and that plush bastard knew it. So what was the deal with this immense killing intent pointed at him?
“Oh, yeah. She is even obediently replying to the word bitch. Don’t we have a good whore to ourselves? We truly trained her well.”
Noah ignored Ugy’s blabbering, thinking over the situation.
“So you say she isn’t angry. But what’s with the killing intent? Are you saying I mistook it for something else?” Asked Noah in his head.
“No, no, User. That is her killing intent without a doubt. After all, she truly desires to tear you apart from the bottom of her heart. She wants to shower in your blood.” Said Ugy cheerfully, as if this idea brought him a lot of pleasure, too.
“And that makes you happy because…?” Asked Noah in his head with a raised eyebrow.
“You are slow as always, User.” Said Ugy with a sigh. “So I’ll repeat her question for you once again. Who do you think she is, User?”
“She’s a vampire.” Answered Noah, raising his eyebrows questioningly.
“And what do vampires do?” Asked Ugy leading Noah on to answer.
“They suck their prey's blood.”
“What prey? Who do they prey on?”
“Humans.” Whispered Noah as traces of puzzle began to add up. “Humans like me.”
“Bingo.” Said Ugy with joy. “And why do they do it?”
“They steal the vitality of the living beings to sustain themselves." Said Noah.
“Booo. Wrong answer.” Said Ugy. “They do it to satiate their boundless hunger. To fulfill their addiction. To feel sexual pleasure. They can steal vitality from any living creature, be it pig or rat. It is enough to sustain themselves. But they don’t wish to simply exist; they want to live. They want to feel. And I already told you how these walking corpses with no sense of pleasure or pain can achieve the ability to feel.”
“Connecting with their prey when they suck their blood.” Said Noah. “That’s why they prey on humans. The spectrum of feelings they can feel from human prey is a lot more akin to what they truly desire. It makes them feel the most fulfilled. It brings them closer to the feeling of being alive.”
“Indeed.” Said Ugy in an approving voice.
“So you’re saying she doesn’t particularly want me dead; she desires to connect with me? To feel me?”
“Fuck you in the vampiric sense of the word. Sexual pleasure is equal to drinking blood to vampires. But you, User… you brought her the brightest feelings of her thousand-year-long undead life. Presented her with the feelings she never knew were possible for her to feel. You successfully made her reach a new level in her addiction. Just any drug will not be enough for her now, no matter how much she partakes of it. What she truly desires is only one drug that can give her the same satisfaction. She desires you.” Explained Ugy.
“Well… in her vampiric sense of it.” Added Ugy. “After all, her vampire nature is an essential part of her being. So a simple desire of a human woman is not applicable to her. What she feels is an unbound urge to hunt you, to pierce you with her fangs, break your skin, connect with you, make you feel pain, and suck your blood while feeling it all through this connection. Feel that warm liquid circulate within her, feel how vitality stolen from you fills her, sense how it becomes a part of herself. To feel you become one with her as she slowly drains you of all your life. That kind of desire has been given a term in our language. We call it bloodlust.”
“Bloodlust.” Muttered Noah, his eyes widening from realization. Cassandra wasn’t angry. She was lusting for him in the crooked, vampiric sense of the word. She wants him to repeat what he made her feel last time, but has no idea how he did it, so she desires it through the only way known to her.
“For vampires, lust is equal to wanting to feel alive, and their vampire constitution dictates to them the way to achieve it, just like any creature instinctively knows what to do when it’s ready to mate. For vampires, it is reflexive and instinctual. Just like normal human men can’t control their dick getting hard, vampires can’t help wanting their prey's blood when they are excited. In the vampire dictionary, lust is equal to wanting to drink blood from the object of their lust. At the same time, the more they are excited, the more they hunger for your blood and the fewer chances you have, as their prey, to live through this vampiric equivalent of mating."
"Vampires can’t help killing their most beloved ones. Not from hatred, but from a deep sense of love and sexual desire that brings lust. Lust for blood.” Said Ugy.
“So the strong killing intent that is almost enough to suffocate me, coming from her right now, is basically her being horny? I get that she got the taste of the best feeling in a millennia from me, but why does it keep growing as we speak? I barely did anything to make her more excited.” Asked Noah in his head.
“This is where the best part of this vampire constitution comes in.” Said Ugy with evil-like pleasure in his voice.
“It doesn’t have to be lust. You have to understand the term prey. It is something a hunter equally desires, admires, and hates. They lust for their loved ones' blood as I explained. But they also want to hunt down, kill and steal their enemies' vitality to become stronger.
"They also crave to partake in blood from the strongest of prey to become more powerful, so they admire prey that needs a lot of time and strength to be hunted down. Easy prey is weak prey. Not funny, not joyous, not fulfilling. Prey that gives them the hardest time is the best. In other words, anything that makes their dead heart race, so-to-say, is exciting their hunter's instincts. But it can equally be any of the feelings that make their heart race. Either hate, anger, love, or lust.
“So you’re saying all their feelings are mixed into one single desire, to suck blood?” Said Noah, looking in shock at the woman in front of him. “If hate, anger, hunger, love, joy, lust, or any other feeling makes them equally excited, it… it really makes them screwed in the head. How do they know what exactly they feel? Happiness or hatred?”
“That’s the point. They don’t. All their feelings come to one and only thing they feel at the end.
“Bloodlust.” Noah repeated the word in his head, trying to understand all that it meant. He never thought of the true meaning of this word. What kind of person would lust for your blood? An enemy that wants to kill you, that wants to bleed you. But apparently that’s not exactly what this word meant. The true meaning of this word, only a vampire could understand. Humans merely borrowed the word for their own use and used it wrong.
“Still, I was trying to lighten the mood, and yet she becomes more and more…horny?” Said Noah.
“Well, of course she does. As I said, the most difficult prey is the best. And you with your nonsense are very difficult to figure out. You basically string a steak in front of a dog's nose and then say the bitch would never have it.”
“I…” Said Noah, but went silent, feeling perplexed.
“How would you feel if someone edged you to the brink of ejaculation and then just walked out, leaving you hanging.” Said Ugy.
Just how Tessa and the girls just did with him. Thought Noah. He knew exactly how torturous that feeling could be.
“How would you feel if someone sucked your cock but ordered you not to get excited, punishing you if you got hard? That’s what you’ve basically been doing here when ordering her, a Vampire under the geas of Gorean slave oath, to calm down.” Said Ugy.
“She is bound by oath to achieve your command, but she has no power over her reflexes and can’t finish your order. She ought to feel anger or pleasure from being bound and ordered around by us. It doesn’t matter which. The result is the same. At the end, it excites her.”
“On top of that, she still feels addicted to you and lusts after you sexually. All that keeps her excited. Makes her keep on lusting. Bloodlusting. Then you give her a contradictory oath to calm down that she can’t achieve, so the Gorean slave contract punishes her. Excruciating pain gives her more anger and bloodlust, and then she receives more punishment. A vicious cycle. You are truly a master of torture, User. It was truly enjoyable to see you torture your bitch this way. I could not make it better. Ahahaha.” Laughed Ugy.
“Okay, okay, I got it. I used the normal logic that was not applicable to the vampire to resolve the situation, making it worse instead. So how did your command stop it?”
“As I said, you had her locked in an unresolvable cycle with your order. I gave her a new order, overwriting the previous, thus breaking her from the vicious cycle. You have to be careful when torturing your slave, User. She really might die from this. The Gorean oath is no joke. Gor was a civilization of vampires, and the slave program was made by vampires to rule over other vampires more than to rule humans. Humans can be hypnotized with their magic powers; the oath was made to hold under control those who they turned, and with it, became immune to vampires hypnotic powers. So it is no doubt made to withstand the power of the strongest among their species.”
Noah rubbed his chin, thinking it through.
“So if your command to “sit still” was enough to break her out of the cycle of pain, what was the reason to call her a bitch and whore?” Asked Noah.
“Well, you can’t just torture your slave without explaining why to her, right? She has to know the reason. Otherwise, she might have assumed you did it accidentally. I just made sure she understood that you knew exactly what you were doing when you made her feel that excruciating pain. Made her see just how cruel and vicious of a Master you can be.” Said Ugy.
“You son of a bitch!” Scowled Noah in his mind as he looked at Cassandra.
Great, now there was no way to explain to her he did not do it on purpose. She thought he was binding Tessa with a tamer's magic; now he had her in a trap no less powerful than a tamer’s skill and used against her with cruelty and mercilessness on their first encounter. Just what kind of picture might she have painted of him in her head?
Noah sighed from hopelessness.
“Speaking of that. How the hell did you speak to her?” Asked Noah.
“Oh, that? I thought it was kind of obvious. Didn’t you read your skill’s description well, User? Wasn’t it in the description of your skill “Reaching the Core”? Said Ugy with smugness in his voice. “We literally reached her monster core with our spirit energy and left a trace of our spirit on her core. This way, we formed a path right into her monster core. The place where her soul lies, so-to-say and we can connect with it any time. Through this connection, we can send feelings of pleasure and pain straight to her very being, overcoming the shortcomings of her senseless, undead body. I used this connection to send an order instead of the usual training routine." Said Ugy.
Back then, Noah was too busy to have the leisure of checking the skill’s “Reaching the core” description before it quickly morphed into a new skill “Dominance,” losing its previous description and being overwritten with a new one. The skill Dominance had nothing about it in its description. So it was no surprise that Noah did not know this crucial piece of information. And Ugy knew that, so he found a way to use it in one of his schemes.
Noah quickly tried to remember his first time meeting Cassandra and the way they dealt with her. At that time, there was a cryptic notification that she was added to the list of slaves to Dominate over, that he could not understand. But had he known the description for the original skill, he would have understood that his system was basically keeping an open connection to the very soul of Cassandra, just as Noah kept a connection to his medallions through the Dream Realm. Through that connection, they could…
“Hold on! What do you mean by sending an order instead of a training routine? What training routine?” Noah asked, full of suspicion.
“Didn’t you grasp the principle of your Dominating skill, User? Silly me. I thought you had a full grasp of it, so I did not feel it necessary to meddle with my explanations,” said Ugy with a nonchalant voice.
Noah clenched his jaw as the vein on his forehead began to pulsate. He clearly did not forget it. He hid that information on purpose, plotting something behind his back. And as he openly revealed it now, the plan he concocted a few months ago must have been achieved.
“You see, User. When a person is registered as your slave under dominance skill, you form a connection with that person, similar to your true mate’s bite with Theressa. But instead of being permanently open like your mate's bite connection, this one only activates whenever you use your skill Domination.”
“Hold on! Whenever I activate the skill, I use it on my slaves too?”
“Mhhmm,” voiced Ugy, stretching the sound to show how pleased he was with this revelation.
“That means… every time I used it in these months... Every time I fought and used the skill, every time I was in some sticky situation, and the skill came in handy. When I had sex with my mates or dryads and used the skill…
“Yep. You tortured your poor bitch with pains and pleasures, sending all kinds of nonessential signals, letting her feel alive and lusting for more at the most inappropriate times. Just how many times have you used the skill lately, User? I have lost count. I can only imagine her face when you made her come in the middle of some important meeting or in the ballroom full of guests. What a sight it must have been. Giving her pain and pleasure at any random time that she has no control of. To be humiliated and disgraced in front of everyone. No wonder she replies to the name bitch so casually. You trained her well without skimping. Truly a thoughtful Master you are, User, to train her so often even when you are not around.”
By the end of Ugy’s revelation, Noah was seething with fury. He was worried about the way he had portrayed himself in front of her at the moment, but this was the least of his concerns. Just what did he subject her to in the last few months?
Cassandra felt the burning fury in Noah. Knowing there was no one in the room except for her, this fury and anger seemed to be pointed at her, making her tremble from fear of other cruelties this vicious man, who had tortured and whispered cruelties and perversions to her for months, giving her random orders and dirty names, would subject her to.
For a moment she thought that there was some kind of mistake. That the men who whispered those dirty things to her were not the Noah in front of her, as he seemed clueless and lost when she revealed herself in front of him. But once she heard that voice ordering her to sit still and calling her the same dirty names he had called her multiple times in the past, all her doubts vanished. It was him. He was a cruel, vicious, double-faced, evil man who had been humiliating and torturing her for months. And from thinking about it, her excitement rose even greater, making her not only heave but also moan.
She never felt such strong lust in her entire life. Not only could this man make her feel the best thing she ever felt, but he could make her desire him as no one else ever had. What a cruel Master she now had. What a difficult prey he was. What a strong bloodlust he awakened in her.
