Chapter 198: The Problem of Leviticus
As if recounting a very deep Post Traumatic Stress, the emperor looked at me and Urduja with her eyes wide open, so wide they were that you can stick a bee each on the side of their sockets and the eyes won't take damage.
Well... how do I say this... can you imagine the feelings of a deer when a lion said "Let me eat you and all your family will not get murdered", yes, that kind of feeling is what Kasikis of Mayari is feeling right now, he will feel indignant, angry. He would even feel like his pride is being challenged, poked and shattered in front of him... but in the end, the deer is always meant to be a prey, except if he's a grass type pokemon, then water, ground and rock types will be his prey, instead of vice versa.
But indeed, he is not such a creature, the Emperor of Mayari is in the end, a normal hero, someone who gained the recognition of a stray god that then got murdered and/or assimilated by the two remaining old gods, Sinag and Siginarugan, unlike me, the blessed of the primordial creator of undeads or Urduja, the unchained prophet of the gentle ruler of the sun... compared to such a title, Kasikis of Mayari is nothing but a warship facing of against a submarine that can snipe him from literally the ocean floor, the gap is as ridiculous as it gets, thus in the end, he doesn't have a choice but to agree.
The agreement is as follow, the army of monsters provided by me and the army of Urduja's children will be at the front and rear respectively as the main invaders while the humans of Mayari will be at supporting the flanks and will also be stationed to stop the various supports being made by Apolaki to Valentine, of course they will have to have soldiers in the main battlefield too, well I'm not the ruler of this place, so I didn't use illusions to help him explain this arrangements to his people.
"Urduja said so." should be fine in this context, considering the sun she has just summoned a while earlier, it would be ridiculous if his other daughter, apparently the one that bears the strongest weapon familiar in all of Mayari, will object, or any of his elders in this regard.
Such a response was rehearsed a while earlier, the war between the 5 remaining powers of Genesis will certainly will erupt tonight as we doesn't have any aversion towards night time confrontation, what's more, the war will be started by the strongest army in the world, Valentine who had a military dubbed as the Army of the Kingdom of Heaven (due to their immortality, apparently), so we don't have time to play peace, obedience or oppression, that is Mayari's only choice.
After that, there is not that much room for cooperation so we decided to get out of their council hall for them to discuss how will they bullshit their soldiers into cooperating with us, however we didn't went back to Urduja this time, but instead is in the rooftop of the imperial castle, unable to be seen by the guards and assassins in the top nor the civilians below.
Urduja nodded at me, prompting me to start another part of my arrangement, I put my index finger up the in the air, and from my whole body, plumes of thick and dense darkness flowed towards the extended finger, they were like hot air in convection cells that seeks out a place with lower energy levels and will strive to fill them up with energy, the black magic energy that is flowing towards my index finger then shot up towards the sky of Mayari, and even then, the people in the empire wasn't able to notice someone was flicking around with their sky, well, like I said, illusions really works wonders. You see, I already made it so that the dark orb that's forming from this dense amount of mana will make itself invisible through illusions, thus even with the orb becoming bigger and bigger until it practically is as big as the whole empire it self, no one in the whole empire, better yet, no one in the whole planet can see this black dense orb.
_Well, except for the brother of Eris... but I'm pretty sure that he will not say it to his sister..._
As for Eris herself, seeing it... Well, someone over there will obscure her eyes according to [Perfect Simulation], so it will be fine, if not, then I would have already been smote by her.
"That should do it."
Urduja, who has been watching me all this while nodded as she said so, I don't feel particularly tired, but draining a million of my 10 million counts of mana in one go is very uncomfortable, do you know that feeling if you're blood is being sucked by a syringe in front of you, and you let them do it willingly? Yes, that's how it feels.
"Yes, this should be fine."
I replied, This is one of my preparations for my one one-on-one with Eris, alongside the one with Aerendil and The Fixer Roselle, so this should be fine.
Just when we were about to go back to Urduja, a flickering light suddenly appeared in the pocket of Urduja, the woman in question furrowed her brows and pulled out what can be said to look like an ear pods container, she then opened it and then put the communication crystal inside her ear, and with my acute hearing, I heard a panic voice that made me and Urduja freeze for a moment.
"The other half of the Leviticus Continent can't be accessed!"
It was the voice of Aoi, in it is a hint of her perpetual calmness and the gravity of this unexpected situation, yes what the fuck is that? How did that happen? Whether in my pre [Perfect Simulation] self, I was not able to predict a problem in the land of Leviticus and even now, my meeting with Paraluman and the unique skill [Genius] didn't make me see anything... this... has turned into a sucker punch in all of the powerful figures that's focusing on the time loop.
Urduja started to ask for details, and basically, it goes like this: Aoi has already successfully colonized the large amounts of group of islands facing Urduja's shores, one of the reasons is that they are disheartened and desperate for a new protector after their Emperor died in the hands of Urduja, also, the ones loyal to the empire were killed, though in an imperial dynasty with such a reckless emperor, such people are just a handful.
"Don't worry, I have someone here who's an expert at thinking what the problem."
What? I don't even know what the fuck is going on, after all, during Urduja and Mizukuni's fight, Mizukuni was able to escape all the war to the extreme northern part of Leviticus, that means this problem arose at least right after the said fight...
_Can I ask Paraluman about this somehow?_
I used [Perfect Simulation] with this question... yes, I can't... the future simulated is too heavy for me to see... it flashed faster than I can articulate.
_What in the world is happening?_
What is this? A sequel set up?
Also, if nothing is happening even until now, does that mean that the dictator of time itself doesn't know about this? If so... does that mean the gods don't know about it too? And if they don't know it... does that mean... It's not part of the time loop?
[Yes, it's not, I'm going to tell this to my mother.]
Suddenly, Siginarugan, with his rarely heard serious voice, said in my mind, well, who knows he can do that...
But that's not the time for that, I looked at Urduja.
"This might be a very serious problem. let's go."
After saying that, I immediately pulled her hand and then used the [Unquantifiable by Time] ability of the unique skill [Genius], we then traversed the whole distance from Genesis to Leviticus, in the other half of Leviticus indicated by Aoi, in it is Aoi herself and in front of her is a barrier that has blue boxes, thousands of them as it's structure, it's like a semi-digital representation of a firewall or something.
Aoi looked at us, all of her eyes open, emitting rainbow colored light.
"This barrier-like thing divided the middle of the continent, all of the things that have to flow like light, sound, or air can't be felt flowing from inside, as if that chunk of land has been cut off."
This report is directed to me, that's because Urduja will most probably use her nuclear bombs to pry the barrier open, which might lead to severe circumstances, even Urduja recognizes her lack of expertise in this field, well, I might as well try to fix this problem.
Just when I was about to use the 4th dimension to pry open the barrier preemptively and create initial conclusions, a voice rang out in my mind.
"Stop!"
It was loud, it was the god of the undead's serious voice, so it's kind of sonorous in my head. When he realized that I had already stopped moving, he continued.
"The seal is not something that should exist in any part of the time loop. Originally, Urduja is destined to face fierce resistance in the other half of the Leviticus continent, the part where the capital is present, but now, Urduja's roadblock has become that barrier."
I feel silent for a few seconds, my face morphing into a frown, causing worry and confusion in the face of these two representatives of humanity (though the other one is not a human), if the smartest person in the planet will frown into the unknown, that means no one can potentially know what the hell is going on here, but the thing is, someone, or something have devised and predicted my inorganic replication of the events of the time loop, the node in this point of the loop is for Urduja's army's advance in Leviticus be stopped temporarily by the rebel forces that organized their group incredibly well despite it being a short notice thing.
And this barrier appeared here as the roadblock instead of the rebels, the conditions for the node of the loop are met, Urduja will fail to advance, inorganically.
_Is there someone on my level inside the barrier? Or another reincarnator?_
I want to fix this problem immediately, mostly because of my pride, as this is the first time in a very long while that I was genuinely confused, however, my god and adoptive father spoke in my ear.
"Don't bother about this matter, just think that the person who made the barrier doesn't want to interfere with you, this matter might be dangerous as even Sinag and I can't see through it... You can broaden your horizons further after you become a goddess... if you successfully destroyed the loop, you can attempt the destruction of this barrier and find out who erected it."
...So another job for me in the future?
Hmm... if I succeeded and became a goddess, I would certainly not become the one that would destroy this barrier as the law of this world, with or without a system, is that is no god allowed to enter, ever...
_So it's a sequel setup... and it's not even a mini storyline..._
In any case, I looked at Aoi and Urduja and said.
"This matter might be something we should focus our attention on entirely, We should live as is for now and look at it after the war against Valentine."
As usual, I didn't say something about the time loop as that would be detrimental, I'm sure these two person, without a very strong illusion, will try to break their roles in it, and Aoi is immune to normal illusions, so I can't be careless. Urduja and Aoi then said thank you to me and bade farewell to meet up with their subordinates to talk about the matter, I also went back to my Queendom.
I still have to do some things, minor ones, before my destined one one-on-one.
[3rd Person POV]
In the space right outside the tesseract sealing the whole of Pentateuch, the subsidiary gods of the god of the undeads and god of the sun, in the divine realms of their respective lords, the projections of the square enlaced barrier is present, and in the absence of their lord, they started to scrutinize the barrier, sharing their insights and conjectures, listing them so that they can give them to their lord by the time they return, they even look excited, for as being who was not able to do anything, they found solving this puzzle that not even the smartest mortal they have seen can do so is exciting, though they can't do something about it because the figure in front of them is just a model from Sophia and they can't see the barrier completely, completely in a sense like how gods have innate comprehension of things, two steps higher than Sophia's ridiculous learning speed
The barrier is a wonder, not anything they have seen before, but before they can even start pondering, the lords of the subordinate gods spoke simultaneously in their minds.
"Don't observe, or attempt on breaking the barrier for it might cause some kind of bad chain reaction, leading for the Leviticus node of the time loop to not be fulfilled... for now, the state of Leviticus is acceptable... as long as it was not conquered to the brim, don't worry, mother is already talking with one of her siblings about the matter."
