Chapter 0081: Grandma’s Advice

“Grandma?”

“Chizuru! How are you?” Her grandma said in a cheerful voice.

“I’m doing good grandma. How’s your health?”

“Don’t you worry about me, honey! I still have some strength left in my old bones.” As if to prove her point, she flexed her bony arms.

“Hehe…” She cutely giggled at her grandma’s actions while bringing her hand to her mouth.

“How are you doing, Chizuru? How is your life going? I see that you came here alone today… Got into a fight with Kazuya?”

“W-What? No, not at all… He’s just like he usually is… The perfect guy… Fulfills all your wishes… Just a bit of a fickle fucker…” She mumbled the last part so her grandma wasn’t able to hear her.

“Hehe… Then what’s wrong?”

“Well… I do have something to talk about…”

…

“A movie?” She seemed really amused at the prospect of Chizuru making her own movie to star in.

“Fufu Hahaha.” She couldn’t help but laugh a little.

“Hey! Don’t laugh!” Chizuru couldn’t help but get slightly agitated.

“Fufu… Don’t worry honey. I’m just happy at the prospect of seeing you actually star in a real movie… To me, you’re still that little girl who clung to my clothes and told me that you’ll become a big star, just like me.” She had a fond smile on her face.

“You have my full support in your project. I think that it’s a fantastic idea. It was Kazuya’s idea, wasn’t it?”

“…Yeah.” Chizuru looked to the side.

”He knew that you wanted me to see you star in a movie and didn’t want to see you hurting… It was something like that, wasn’t it?”

“Kazuya wanted to write a story on your life… Of how you became an actress… How you went through the struggles in the industry… Everything… Are you okay with that?”

“Okay? I’m ecstatic… Even if it’s for a short while, I can show off for my granddaughter in front of her boyfriend.”

“Y-You don’t have to go that far…” Chizuru was concerned about her grandma’s health when she saw her being so active.

“Is that so… Anyways… I’m excited to see the outcome of Kazuya-kun’s plan. I should also thank him… for taking so much care of my granddaughter.”

“You don’t need to thank him… He cares about me, that’s the reason he’s going so far.”

“I know… But I still want to thank him for keeping his end of the promise…”

“What promise?” Chizuru was curious about what promise Kazuya made to her grandma.

“Don’t act all innocent. I know that you were eavesdropping when I was talking to Kazuya at that time when you first brought him to meet me.”

(A/N: Chapter 43)

“I-I don’t know what you’re talking about…” She blushed at being caught red-handed and looked to the side, hiding her face from her grandma.

“You don’t have to lie to me. I don’t mind you knowing about that conversation I had with him.”

“What did you think… When I came to you and told you that we were together?”

“I was very happy that you didn’t end up running away from your feelings for no reason. It also helped that he’d earnestly promised me that he would take care of you for me just the previous day. And I’m going to let you in on a little secret of mine and Sayuri’s.”

“You guys planned to have me and Kazuya move into the same apartment as neighbors?” Chizuru said with a flat expression on her face.

“Y-You knew?” Sayuri stiffened up and felt a little embarrassed at being caught by her granddaughter.

“Yeah… I had a bit of suspicion when I realized that both of our grandmas are friends but that suspicion was confirmed when you guys plotted to have me and Kazuya sleep in the same room during the time we went to the hot springs.” Chizuru felt proud of surprising her grandma who always seemed to have things under control.

“Can you blame me though? You’d never brought a boy home before… At some point, I was concerned that you aren’t even into boys.”

Chizuru was instantly embarrassed at her grandma’s words.

‘How’d she turn the tables so soon…’

“I was worried about whether you’d bring home a decent guy… So I decided to meddle a little and play matchmaker. My friend used to keep going on about how she loved her lovely grandson and I thought that he’d be good for you. I didn’t force you guys but maneuvered fate a little to work in both of your favor.”

‘Damn… leave it to old people to manipulate the fuck out of your life and not even realize that it’s wrong…’

“A decent guy, huh?” Chizuru’s eye twitched at the thought of Kazuya being decent.

‘More of an asshole playboy if I do say so myself… Not like I can do anything about it… He is the perfect boyfriend if you ignore that side chick…’

“You are an amazing person, my granddaughter… You are a very attractive woman… you dress well… you’re hard-working, dignified-“

“Why are you saying this?” Chizuru’s inner Tsundere couldn’t help but come out and get embarrassed at the genuine praise from her grandma.

“I’m telling you this because for all your good qualities you also have some flaws in you… and you need to rely on someone… Humans survive by relying on each other… I’m sure Kazuya isn’t perfect either… Although he seems like the personification of the perfect man and I can’t seem to read through him… I’m sure that there are some flaws which would need you to be there for him… In my opinion, you both are perfect for each other.”

“…” Chizuru was deep in thought about her words.

…

As Chizuru was talking to her grandma, Kazuya was in his neighbor’s apartment. The cute girl whom he didn’t even have the decency to ask for the name of.

“Damn it, I’m sorry Mini…” Kazuya was currently dealing with a crying girl who kept hitting his chest. She was Mini Yaemori.

“Y-You’re such a bully, master!” She kept hitting him with tears in her eyes.

“I honestly thought that you kept the keys with you…”

“Why would I do that?! I’m in my house, I’m not expecting anyone to tie me to the radiator and leave me there for hours. My wrists are still sore.” She rubbed her slightly red wrist with her other wrist which still had the handcuff hanging from it.

“You seemed like an experienced cosplayer. I thought you knew how to pick the lock. These sex handcuffs are literally the easiest thing to open without the key.” To make his point, Kazuya held her other arm and used a SIM pin to pick the lock of that cuff, unlocking her other wrist.

She gave him a deadpan look, “Why do you even know this?”

“I don’t need to talk to a complete stranger about my sex life.” Kazuya looked away.

“And it’s literally unlockable using just a pin without any technique. You insert it and prod around for a bit before hearing a click. That’s literally it. These are made to be easily unlocked.” He held up the cuffs to show them to her.

She was embarrassed at not knowing such crucial information.

“Well, I didn’t know. Okay? I just got them because they seemed cute. I’m not into getting tied up…” She pouted with tears still running down her eyes.

“I’d offer to teach, but I think that you’re a lesbian so let’s not go that route.”

“What makes you think that?” She isn’t embarrassed but is curious about Kazuya’s thoughts.

“I don’t know. You seem pretty apathetic to the close contact that you’re having with me, who’s practically a stranger. Especially while wearing that revealing cop cosplay outfit. I thought that either you aren’t into guys or you haven’t awakened your sexuality yet, which is very unlikely.”

“I’m offended by master judging me like this. And I think you’ll be happy to know that I’m straight as a stick. I’m into guys… It’s just that I don’t realize when I skip boundaries with someone and invade their personal space.”

“I see… So you’re basically an airhead.” Kazuya had a eureka moment.

“Stop putting these labels on me! You judgemental asshole.” She got angry again and attacked him.

Kazuya held both of her arms above her head and held her away from him so she doesn’t kick him.

“But it’s so much fun to bully you.” Kazuya chuckled at the comical girl in front of him.

“Damn it… I’m mad at master. Humph!” She decided to go another route and turned her head away angrily with a snort.

“Fine… I think you’re cute enough to be my submissive. I’ll accept you.” Kazuya reluctantly accepted Mini’s offer to start a dominant-submissive relationship.
