Chapter 0079: The Promise

Kazuya knew that Chizuru was probably back home by now so he directly went to her place. It was already 10 PM by the time he got back.

He was pretty cheery after the amazing date that he’d had.

When he opened the door, Kazuya’s heart broke at the sight in front of him.

Chizuru was kneeling on the floor, hugging a picture frame while bawling her eyes out.

“Waaa… You-You… lied to me… grandpa~” He heard her say between her sobs and realized that the photo was probably her grandpa’s.

She was too distracted to have even noticed her door open.

He slowly made his way to her with light steps and wrapped his arms around her weak-looking frame.

She looked at him with a vulnerable expression and Kazuya didn’t say anything.

“Uuuww…” She hugged Kazuya and cried into his shoulder while he rubbed her back.

After a while, she seemed to slightly calm down and mumbled.

“Dreams don’t come true… He lied to me.” He didn’t understand the point of her words but comforted her nonetheless.

They both sat on the floor while hugging as she calmed herself down.

“You remember how I told you about my grandpa’s death?” She wanted to get some weight off of her heart.

“Mhm. It happened when you were in high school.”

“My grandpa was stupid. He was such a stupid guy… He loved to tell me that dreams come true… As long as you try hard enough, your dreams would come true… He promised me that I would become a star and that he would be there to see me… Liar! He told me that the hundredfold worship is the purest form of praying… That god will definitely listen to someone who wished for something during the hundredfold worship…”

Kazuya waited for her to continue.

“Then, when he had his accident… Believing his words, I did the hundredfold worship at the shrine. To the top and back down… I went a hundred times… I begged god to save him, again and again… I begged until I couldn’t even feel my legs… But in the end… He was such a liar!” She punched Kazuya’s chest with her weakness-filled arms. She didn’t have any strength right now.

Right now, she was just a weak little girl who was grieving.

“You know… You know what his last words to me were? He-He said, ‘Your wish… Your dream… Will come true for sure…’ Those were his last words to me.” Saying those words, she started bawling her eyes out again. This time there was anger behind her sadness.

She punched Kazuya’s chest weakly again and again as he kept lightly rubbing her back while feeling a lump in his throat.

At some point, she seemed to have lost all strength and weakly leaned on Kazuya, her head resting on his shoulder. Kazuya could feel her steady breaths in the crook of his neck.

“Haah…” Kazuya sighed and picked her up in his arms before putting her on the bed.

Then he went to her kitchen and decided to cook something to cheer her up, knowing that she was probably waiting for him to eat dinner.

It took him a while and quite a bit of effort. He then went to wake up the puffy-eyed Chizuru.

“Babe…” He lightly shook her.

“Mhm?” She didn’t open her eyes.

“Come on, I made dinner. Let’s eat first before going to sleep.”

She opened her eyes with a depressed look and looked to the side.

“Feed me… will you?”

“Anything for my crybaby girlfriend.” He ran his fingers through her hair and left.

“I’m not a crybaby… mostly.” She mumbled.

Kazuya brought the dinner for the both of them and fed her as they talked.

“I failed my audition…” She had a sad look on her face.

“I had a dream of showing my grandpa my first movie… After him, I thought that I could at least show it to my grandma… And now…”

“I don’t know what to do Kazuya…” She held her head in her hands.

That was when Kazuya said the words which would change Chizuru’s course of acting completely.

“I could help you make your movie.” Kazuya casually said and put a bite of the food into his mouth.

She was just looking at him with wide eyes and an incredulous expression.

“And how are you going to do that mister movie expert?” She asked sardonically.

“Hey, I’m trying to help you, you know?”

“Huh…” She took a deep breath, “I’m sorry, as you can see, I’m not in the best mental state right now. I didn’t mean to lash out.”

Kazuya bopped her nose with two of his fingers, “All right, don’t feel so guilty. If you really want to make a movie, then I can help out. Hell, I’ll make you the best movie of the year.”

“That seems like a big ambition…” She didn’t believe him.

“So is creating a tech company in this day and age while believing that it’ll compete with behemoths like Apple and Microsoft.”

“You’re just another stupid boy with your stupid dreams…” She mumbled sourly and looked to the side. She couldn’t help but say that after what happened with her grandpa who kept telling her that dreams come true.

So far, her one little dream of showing her grandparents her first movie has done nothing but fail consistently.

Kazuya didn’t take her words to heart since she was hurting and he knew that she fully supported him with everything.

“C-Can you give me some time to think about it? Let’s talk about it tomorrow…”

Kazuya agreed and they both got into bed together.

Chizuru didn’t sleep that night. She spent the whole night thinking about what she could do to not seem so dependent on Kazuya.

As she was lying in his arms, lightly breathing on his bare chest, she had a realization about herself.

‘…I can’t help but depend on him for everything. It’s always him… He’s always there to get me back up.’

Realizing that, she felt a profound sense of freedom. She realized that she could lean on him no matter how much her life falls apart.

She didn’t know if her thoughts were healthy or not but she finally felt like she had a pillar of support in her life, one that she could lean on for anything.

She finally stopped feeling like a small stray boat that was trying to keep itself afloat amidst a hurricane that was life.

That boat had finally found land.

“I love you Kazuya…” She mumbled as she closed her eyes and tightly held on to him.

…

That next morning Kazuya woke up with Chizuru’s arms wrapped around his torso as she had her face practically buried in his chest.

He didn’t plan to wake her up since it was Sunday and he knew that she’d been pretty stressed these days.

That was when Kazuya noticed something on his system.

{ <Quests>

[Completed Quests:

]

‘Hm?’ Kazuya just now noticed that he’d missed a mission which by the looks of it was Sumi’s mission. He also had a mission that was probably completed last night.

‘I should really check the system more.’

[Special Quest: Claim her heart (Completed)

Rewards: Lovers’ Seal]

‘Oh yeah… Special quests don’t have any description or objective…’

‘I thought that this reward would’ve been for kissing Sumi… This quest was probably Chizuru. Guess she didn’t sleep last night and was thinking quite a few things through… Whatever she decided, this is the result...’

Next Kazuya checked the Sumi quest that he’d gotten.

[Side Quest: Shy Roseate (!)

You’ve met a cute pink-headed klutz. She’s too pure for this world. Will you corrupt her or protect her?

Objective: Get Sumi Sakurasawa to agree to be your girlfriend

Rewards: ???]

‘Well… This is a first. The rewards seem to be hidden. Whatever.’

Kazuya didn’t care for the Sumi quest for now since he was more interested in putting the seal on Chizuru.

[Do you want to apply the Lovers’ Seal on the recipient: Chizuru Ichinose?]

Kazuya agreed and at that instant, he felt a profound sort of connection with Chizuru. Similar to what he had with Mami through the [Sense] ability of her Chastity Seal.

‘Did she get a tattoo too?’ Kazuya was curious but decided to wait before exploring the features of the seal. He was sure that it wasn’t going to be that much different from the Chastity Seal so he wasn’t that curious.

He went through her stats.

[ Seal Type: Lovers’ Seal

Name: Chizuru ‘Mizuhara’ Ichinose

Status: Girlfriend

Loyalty: 95/100

Love: 80/100

Lust: 75/100

Seal Abilities: Sense…]

’Shit… She really is depressed. I’d thought that she hit a lot behind her mask but this is serious… She hasn’t even let me see her pain.’

Seeing her depressed status, Kazuya realized why she acted normally so much. It was to hide her pain and sorrow.

‘I guess her peaceful status is the reason behind the quest’s completion. She has probably completely accepted our relationship after the talk last night…’

‘The [In Love] stat isn’t the first one. But that’s fine too, I guess…’

Kazuya didn’t wake her up, noticing that she was also tired. He let her sleep while enjoying his embrace. Kazuya also went back to sleep.

Then Kazuya stirred awake after that, he didn’t feel Chizuru in his arms but instead felt some warmth enveloping his morning wood.

‘I love you.’ He couldn’t help but think that.

He was still slightly groggy from oversleeping so he let her do her thing. When he finally erupted, he felt her suck up all his sperm before drinking it.

“Morning Kazuya!” She came out from under the blanket and lay down on his chest again.

“Good morning babe. You’re the best.” He caressed her head.

“I know that I am. Umu.”

“I guess I should repay you for this then.” Kazuya turned both of them around and had her on her back before spreading her legs, revealing her moist pussy.

‘There’s the tattoo…’ Kazuya saw that it was a similar intricate heart design to Mami’s seal with one key difference. There was no chain or keyhole around the heart. It just had the letter K inscribed on it.

He willed it to disappear before Chizuru noticed it and started eating her out.

“Ohh~ Kazuya.” She couldn’t help but moan his name and run her fingers through his silky hair, pushing his head deeper.

About half an hour later they went to take a shower.

Kazuya had noticed a stark difference in Chizuru’s attitude today and realized that whatever it was, it took quite a bit of weight off of her heart and he was happy that she was expressing herself more freely with him.

“I thought about it last night…” She was looking down while tilting her head to the side as the water cascaded down her figure.

Kazuya pulled her closed and rubbed her back with his lathered hands, “Tell me.”

“P-Please… Please help me make a movie… J-Just let her watch it…” She leaned on Kazuya, putting her hands over his wet arms as she buried her face into the nook of his neck.

“Anything for my girl…” Kazuya hugged her weak frame as the water slid down both of them.

“I’ll make you the best movie that you can think of.”
