Chapter 295: There are a couple of things I want to investigate.

“And here we are, the place with the most shops, the newest and most advanced, the Kiyashi Shopping Mall!!”

In the middle of a bustling shopping mall, Mina announced with high energy, raising one of her hands in the air. Everyone around her, which was almost the entirety of Class 1-A except for Todoroki and Bakugo, along with a beautiful blue-haired girl with an innocent aura, smiled cheerfully. Nejire, who was intimately hugging Kai’s left arm, couldn’t help but ask with excitement while looking at Kai and Momo.

“This is so thrilling! How long has it been since we went shopping?!”

“A week at most.” Kai commented like a soldier preparing to disembark on a battlefield. Momo, who was clinging to Kai’s right arm, added with an amused giggle.

“That was just us; you didn’t come along.”

“Oh! Aren’t those the UA students?!”

At that moment, a young man passing by couldn’t help but comment with shining eyes. Immediately, many people turned to look, and another person shouted excitedly.

“Yes, it’s the UA studens, I saw them at the Sports Festival!”

““Demon King!!!””

As huge smiles appeared on the students’ faces upon being recognized, a collective female scream echoed through the area. Within seconds, Kai found himself surrounded by at least a dozen women of various ages, from middle school girls to mothers with children, all staring at him with gleaming eyes.

Seeing the commotion, Kai couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow and look around, triggering a few excited squeals and even some suppressed moans. Meanwhile, Nejire and Momo stood straighter, puffing out their chests while gripping Kai’s arms a bit tighter, asserting their claim. Though subtle smiles of pride couldn’t help but form on their faces.

“Demon King! Can I take a picture with you?!”

Quickly, a beautiful young woman who looked about 18 asked with a slight blush on her face, timidly holding her phone with both hands. Seeing all the women starting to pull out their phones and notebooks with eager eyes, Kai couldn’t help but frown and quickly activated his Conqueror’s Haki at low power.

“Oh!! It’s the king’s aura! It’s so imposing!”

But although some girls backed away a little, startled, one of them shouted with a hint of lust hidden in her excited voice and stepped even closer. To Kai’s surprise, the girl who shouted wasn’t the only one; in fact, most of the girls either stayed or moved closer. Even a mother with a small child only stepped back with a reluctant expression because her little one started crying.

As small excited screams echoed everywhere, Kai couldn’t help but glance at Momo and Nejire beside him with a helpless expression, silently telling them with his eyes. He was about to knock them all out and make a run for it. Amused, helpless, and a bit proud, Momo and Nejire tightened their grip on Kai’s arms and shook their heads.

“Alright, ladies! Step aside, step aside, don’t disrespect the king! I’m his agent! 8,000 yen for an autograph or 10,000 with a photo!”

At that moment, Mina’s energetic voice rang out from the side as she pushed through the crowd of women with a radiant smile, soon reaching Kai. With visible exasperation, Kai looked at Mina and asked in a sarcastic tone.

“Are you my pimp or something?”

“Agent, an agent! I am going to take care of the star; leave the hard work to me!” Mina replied with a huge grin, pointing at herself, which caused amused giggles from Momo and Nejire. Meanwhile, Kai rolled his eyes and muttered under his breath, glancing at his beautiful girlfriends.

“I’m out of here first.”

At the same time, messages arrived on Momo and Nejire’s phones, informing them they’d meet secretly further ahead. With cheerful smiles, Momo and Nejire nodded and let go of Kai, who quickly jumped over the group of women and disappeared into the crowd in an instant.

“Ah, the Demon King escaped…”

One of the younger girls commented with visible disappointment, triggering a collective sigh of frustration, at which point an older woman remarked with an envious smile while looking at Momo and Nejire.

“But the Demon King really is cold on the outside and hot on the inside… I wish he’d look at me and talk to me with such tenderness too…”

The surrounding women couldn’t help but nod as they watched Momo and Nejire, who puffed out their chests and started walking with Mina like elegant, proud swans. But at that moment, a girl no older than 15 approached Momo and asked with a smile that, while seemingly shy at first glance, clearly hid impure desires behind it.

“Iron Maiden Creati, what does it take to join the Demon King’s harem?”

Being addressed by that strange title, Momo couldn’t help but look the girl up and down before replying in a proud and elegant voice.

“I’m sorry, but Kai is my fiancé; we’ll be getting married after graduation, so I’d appreciate it if you refrained from such comments.”

Momo’s words caused a stir of whispers among the small crowd, which the girls took advantage of to slip away and blend into the masses. After getting far enough, Momo and the others regrouped with the rest of Class 1-A, at which point Momo gave a small bow and apologized.

“Sorry, everyone, we caused some trouble.”

“No need to apologize, though it’s pretty surprising how famous Saito-chan is.” Tsuyu, the frog girl, commented with a curious voice, placing a finger on her chin. Toru, the invisible girl, added excitedly.

“Though I’ve seen on social media that Saito has fan clubs and everything, I didn’t realize how famous he was until now.”

“Where’s Saito? Did he go home?” As the others nodded, Midoriya asked with a hint of concern. Nejire put a finger to her lips, gesturing for silence, and commented with a huge smile.

“No, but keep it a secret; he went to disguise himself. Fufu.”

“Alright, for now, let’s split up to get what we need and meet back later to grab something to eat here!”

Mina said with a big smile, to which everyone nodded. After splitting up, Mina followed Momo and Nejire, who walked toward a certain men’s clothing store, where they found a tall man leaning against a huge pillar, checking his phone. The man wore a cap, dark sunglasses, and a mask that made it hard to recognize him. But even though the clothes were different, Mina could easily tell it was Kai just from his height and physique.

“You’re a full-on celebrity now, Saito. You even have to go incognito!” Mina quickly approached Kai and teased in a playful tone. Kai rolled his eyes under his sunglasses and replied as he put away his phone.

“I haven’t forgotten your attempt to exploit me. Get ready.”

“Hehe.”

Mina couldn’t help but laugh nervously as Momo and Nejire also put on sunglasses and caps created by Momo. After teasing Mina a bit, the pair of beauties hugged Kai’s arms, and Nejire commented cheerfully.

“Then let’s go buy the most important thing, swimsuits!”

“Can I come along?” Mina asked while bowing her head in a slightly funny way, to which Momo nodded calmly.

“Let’s go.”

…

…

…

After a long day of shopping, Kai arrived home with dozens of shopping bags from Momo and Nejire, along with a modest bag of his own. Handing the bags to conjured Nen beasts that looked like Salem, Kai collapsed onto a couch, visibly exhausted. At that moment, Yumiko arrived with a lemonade and remarked with a smile.

“You worked hard.”

“Quite a bit… I thought it’d be my last day…” Kai sighed dramatically while taking the lemonade. Nejire puffed out her cheeks and quickly retorted in annoyance, stomping her foot.

“We only bought a few things; don’t be so dramatic, Kai-chan!”

“Yeah, after trying on half the mall…” Kai rolled his eyes and replied in a sarcastic tone, making Yumiko laugh. Momo, standing next to Nejire, quickly added in an annoyed tone.

“Now we won’t parade what we bought for you, Hmph!”

“Fufu, didn’t you show him while shopping?” Yumiko asked with an amused smile, to which Momo shook her head and explained.

“No, too many people recognized Kai at the mall, so we avoided showing off.”

“Oh yeah, Mom, Kai-chan is super famous! The moment we got there, a ton of girls ran up to him asking for pictures!” Nejire soon added proudly, quickly forgetting her annoyance. Yumiko, a bit surprised, turned to look at Kai, who nodded while letting out a sigh.

“Wow… To think it’d already be like this.”

“Well, my Kai is too exceptional; it’s understandable, but I made sure to let them know he’s a taken man.” Momo quickly replied, lifting her head like a swan, which made Yumiko laugh as she added.

“So jealous.”

Momo blushed slightly and quickly took Nejire’s hand before commenting in a serious tone.

“Let’s finish packing our bags, Nejire nee-chan, we’re traveling tonight, and I don’t want to leave anything behind!”

“Right, let’s go!”

Nejire quickly replied with a smile and ran with Momo to the second floor. Meanwhile, Yumiko watched them with a cheerful smile, at which point Kai asked curiously.

“By the way, where’s everyone else?”

“Nemuri went with the Pussycats to buy some things for the trip, and Keiko went to the office to sort out some stuff.” Yumiko replied casually, to which Kai nodded before glancing at the time on his watch and commenting in a thoughtful tone.

“It’s almost 4 PM… If I leave now, I should get there by 2 AM…”

“2 AM? Where are you going?” Yumiko asked, somewhat curious, to which Kai replied calmly after finishing his lemonade.

“To the Neogranadine Federation. There are a couple of things I want to investigate there.”

“So you won’t travel with us?” Yumiko quickly asked, visibly disappointed. Kai shook his head and replied with a smile.

“Of course I will; it’ll just be a matter of a few hours. I’ll be back in time for the flight. Actually, do you want to come? I’m not doing anything dangerous, and after a quick disguise, no one will recognize us.”

“Can I really come?” Yumiko asked with shining eyes but quickly turned to look at the stairs and, repressing her emotions, added in a low voice.

“Then I’ll call the girls so we can all go…”

“With more people, the energy cost will be much higher. If you don’t want to come, I’ll go alone. Momo and Nejire already know I’m going.”

Kai shook his head and explained in a calm voice. Yumiko quickly jumped, her expression flickering between panic and indecision, but after a few moments, she spoke in a soft, shy tone.

“Then I’ll go let them know I’m coming…”

“Alright, I’ll wait for you here.”

Kai replied as Salem and Tama jumped onto his shoulders to nuzzle his face. With flushed cheeks, Yumiko nodded and headed to the stairs, leaving Kai to pet the pair of spoiled cats.

…

Upon reaching the door of her daughter’s room, Yumiko couldn’t help but freeze just before knocking, unsure of what to do or say. Though she was dying to have a romantic date abroad with her beloved, she couldn’t help but feel guilty and unworthy at the same time. Kai was her daughter’s boyfriend, and she was already too old. What she had was more than enough for her, so much so that she was afraid to wish for more.

“Mom!”

But while Yumiko hesitated, the door to the room opened, revealing Nejire looking at her with a huge smile as she greeted her. Seeing her daughter, Yumiko couldn’t help but feel even worse and quickly spoke in a calm, affectionate voice that managed to hide her tumultuous feelings.

“Sweetie, Kai is going to South America and can take one more person. Don’t you want to go?”

“Fufu, we already knew he was going to travel; that’s why I prepared a proper 'armament'!” Nejire quickly replied with a huge smile and pulled her mother into the room.

Inside the room, Yumiko found Momo in a bathrobe with flushed cheeks, which made her raise an eyebrow in curiosity. But upon seeing the large amount of sexy lingerie on the bed, everything clicked in her mind, and a smile couldn’t help but form on her face.

Though the situation was slightly awkward, for some reason Yumiko felt incredibly nostalgic and happy, feeling that her girls were finally growing up. But as Yumiko got lost in her thoughts, Nejire’s cheerful voice echoed through the room.

“Mom, this is what I brought for you!”

Looking at her daughter, Yumiko saw her holding up erotic underwear with a beautiful smile—lingerie so revealing it was almost better to wear nothing at all—along with a black dress so tiny that Yumiko seriously doubted if she could even fit into that scrap of fabric. At that moment, Nejire added with a mischievous and lustful smile.

“With this, you’ll look so sexy that Kai won’t be able to keep his hands off you, hehe.”
