Chapter 288: You’re quite the romantic.

--Thursday, July 9, 2172

“Those disgusting rats…”

After hearing Kai's entire story, Keiko couldn't help but murmur through clenched teeth, her expression twisted with murderous intent. Kai, who was sitting in a comfortable chair with Keiko on his lap, commented in a calm voice.

“Yeah… well, that's the story. Besides them, there are some Nomus and spiders in Alcatraz, not much else.”

“It must have been so hard for you, sweetheart… I wish I could have helped you sooner…” Hearing Kai's voice, Keiko turned to look at him and spoke in a sweet voice as she caressed his cheek. Kai replied with a calm smile, looking Keiko in the eyes.

“It wasn't that bad, don't worry.”

“…”

The beautiful mother bit her lower lip and soon buried her head in Kai's chest, then fell silent. After a short while, Keiko looked up and asked in a more serious voice.

“Do you think any suspicion remains about you? Anything that could link you to their disappearance?”

“Not really.” Kai shook his head and soon explained with a somewhat mocking smile.

“I didn't touch any of their belongings, and no one ever knew I was looking for them, so nothing points to me except that they were once suspects in my parents' case. A list that even included Nemuri at one point. Currently, their disappearances are semi-archived due to lack of evidence, and the heirs are fighting over their assets. There have even been a couple of deaths, so even the police suspect their disappearances have something to do with that.”

“I see… And those who attacked Ms. Yoshiko, did they really escape?” Keiko asked in a serious tone, looking directly into Kai's eyes. The blue-eyed young man returned her gaze and remained silent for several seconds before commenting seriously.

“Since I'm coming clean, I'll tell you everything. No, I captured them all, but not just them. I also have that Quirk-stealing bastard.”

Hearing Kai, Keiko couldn't help but open her eyes in disbelief and analyze his expression, looking for any hint that it was a joke. Seeing he was serious, Keiko asked as her mind began to connect different possibilities.

“He wasn't dead…? Did you trick All Might to take him and study him…?”

“No, and no.” Kai shook his head, and several holographic screens appeared in front of Keiko with recordings of what happened. He began to explain.

“I didn't trick anyone. I really wanted to finish him, but the guy is worse than a cockroach. Once I vaporized him on the mountain, he reappeared a few kilometers away. One of his Quirks allowed him to 'revive,' although it had several limitations I'm still studying. Anyway, what really took me all night was capturing that Quirk-stealer. The others I captured quickly.”

“What an absurd Quirk…”

Watching the images of how AFO revived, Keiko couldn't help but comment, somewhat stupefied. But at that moment, an idea couldn't help but appear in her mind, so she quickly turned to look at Kai and spoke in a thoughtful tone.

“You want to replicate that Quirk with your own and apply it to the Accomplices… That's why you're risking keeping someone so dangerous and unpredictable alive. The simple fact of being able to steal Quirks isn't enough for you to take that risk, since you can create abilities… but a trump card to cheat death for the family is…”

“You really are the one who understands me best…”

Kai commented with a huge smile, then initiated a passionate kiss with Keiko, who reciprocated, filled with happiness. It was the first time Kai had initiated a kiss like that on his own, as until now, she was always the one to initiate any intimacy. It was an unmistakable sign that Kai had accepted her as his partner and was opening his heart to her.

After the passionate kiss, Keiko separated from Kai with agitated breathing, then looked him in the eyes and whispered in a determined and loving voice.

“…Let me help you. Even though I specialize in technology, with the Accomplice ability and the [Vital Reactor], I can learn anything in record time.”

“Alright, let's work on it together.” Kai commented with a smile, then hugged Keiko and buried his head in her enormous breasts.

With a smile full of happiness, Keiko began to gently stroke Kai's hair, feeling a weight in her heart completely vanish. Until now, she was fully aware that she had practically forced Kai to start their relationship, something that weighed heavily on her conscience. But now she could finally feel completely at ease and happy; now her Kai would be hers in every possible sense.

“… What do you plan to do with those who attacked Ms. Yoshiko, sweetheart?”

After a while, Keiko gave her Kai a tender kiss on the head, then asked in a soft, sweet voice. Kai, still buried in Keiko's enormous breasts, replied in a voice that sounded relaxed and at peace. It was as if a heavy burden had disappeared from his shoulders.

“Extract information from them. This is the first time I have something somewhat solid against whoever is trying to attack me, although I also plan to 'catch' someone else.”

“Who?” Keiko asked, somewhat curious, without stopping her caresses of Kai's hair. He replied in a slightly cold voice.

“Tanaka Ryoichi, the older brother of Haruto Hado's current wife.”

“What does someone like him have to do with all this? Or did he do something to you?” Keiko asked with a dangerous glint shining in her eyes. Kai shook his head and explained.

“Nothing directly. That guy was actually the teacher in charge of the class Momo and I were in during our first year of middle school. At the time, he gave me a bad vibe because he looked at Momo a bit strangely, so I intimidated him a little, and he never dared to approach us again. But now, with everything that happened with that rat Haruto, I discovered something quite strange.

“The guy has sexual relations with the students at that school, all girls under 15, and he always records videos and takes pictures, both with consent and secretly. The thing is, he's been doing it for years and nowadays has a rather impressive 'collection.' Terabytes of intimate recordings of the daughters of influential people from all over the country.

“But that's not the strangest part. The strange thing is that shortly before the attack we suffered on the day with the sniper, Haruto had visited a somewhat suspicious bar that this guy frequents. I suspect there's something more to this guy. Although I haven't found anything conclusive, I found traces that he sends those videos he collects to others, but I haven't found much more.

“Besides, I 'coincidentally' found traces of that sniper during my trip to the Neogranadian Confederation. Pretty weird, right? Although I didn't try very hard to hide that trip, not many could have known about it, so I suspect this guy has something to do with the people who are after me. Although it's more of a hunch, since there's nothing conclusive so far. He's been keeping a very low profile; he even stopped approaching the students.”

“That bastard… He wanted to do something like that to my Momo…?” Keiko murmured, filled with murderous intent, but quickly shook her head and looked at Kai, then commented in a serious tone.

“But your conjecture makes a lot of sense, sweetheart. Those videos, at the right moment and in the right situation, are great ammunition in a negotiation. There's something shady going on with that guy. Therefore, I support you 100% in capturing him. Even if it turns out to be just a misunderstanding, we're doing society a favor by getting rid of him.”

“I knew you'd support me.” Kai raised his head and commented with a smile, then gave Keiko a soft kiss on the lips. She smiled charmingly and asked.

“When do you plan to do it?”

“Tomorrow. I already have all the information about his routine and everything. It's just that today Nemuri wanted to talk to me about the guys I captured; she wants to support me with all that.” Kai explained calmly, which caused Keiko to frown slightly and ask.

“Nemuri said that?”

“Yes, she supports me wholeheartedly and said she wanted to share my burdens.”

Kai replied with a 'dumb' smile, which made Keiko open her eyes in surprise. But after a few seconds, the beautiful black-haired mother shook her head in understanding. No matter how much of a professional hero Nemuri was, faced with love—and especially someone as perfect as her Kai, who would do anything for them—ideals were meaningless.

Still, Keiko made a mental note to pay special attention to the matter. After all, you can't teach an old dog new tricks, and it would be difficult for someone like Nemuri to completely accept the darker side of her Kai. If she was serious and willing to support and love him, Keiko would support her wholeheartedly. But if, because of her stupid ideals, she ended up hurting him, she'd have to deal with her.

“I see. So, are you going to bring her here?” After reaching a conclusion, Keiko asked with a warm smile. Kai nodded calmly.

“Yes, so far only I have known this place, and now you, so I want her to know it too.”

“I see… Well, since for now only I know it, let's wait a little longer before calling her.”

Keiko commented with a smile, then stood up and began to slowly remove the thin dress she was wearing, revealing that she was completely naked underneath. With not a stitch of clothing on her, Keiko sat cowgirl-style on Kai's lap and whispered in a lustful voice.

“First, let’s 'inaugurate' this place…”

“I suppose we can wait…”

Kai whispered back while extending his hands to squeeze Keiko's juicy buttocks and brought one of the beautiful nipples hanging in front of him to his mouth. This caused Keiko to let out a moan full of pleasure and cling tightly to her beloved's head, while her whole body prepared to receive him.

………

After a while, Nemuri entered the workshop after receiving a call from Kai. Once the door opened, Nemuri entered the workshop accompanied by the pair of cats who had grown bored of being outside. Inside, Nemuri found Kai and Keiko working in front of several computers, although Keiko was firmly seated on Kai's lap with a bright smile on her face, visibly 'satisfied.'

“I imagine you already know everything, Keiko.”

Upon entering, Nemuri commented in a calm voice while hugging Kai's neck from behind. The beautiful black-haired mother nodded calmly, then looked Nemuri in the eyes and commented in a serious tone.

“Yes, although your response surprised me a little.”

“Kai is the love of my life, and Alisa was my family. You won't find an ounce of pity from me for that trash. Heroes are human too.”

Nemuri commented in a calm voice, then gave Kai a tender kiss on the cheek. Keiko nodded and replied while staring intently at Nemuri, as if wanting to convey a wordless message.

“I see. I'm glad to hear that.”

“Well, getting to the important part, it's time for the interrogation.” Kai commented in a serious tone, which put solemn expressions on the faces of the two women. A bit nervous, Nemuri looked at Kai and asked.

“How will the interrogation be…?”

“It will be like a normal interrogation, except that if they don't cooperate, I'll use Mystical Palm to 'persuade' them, although it will all be internal. You'll barely hear them scream.” Kai commented calmly while secretly studying his two beautiful girlfriends.

In Keiko's case, she was quite calm while nodding in understanding, then got a little lost in her thoughts. But, in contrast, Nemuri seemed one part nervous and three parts determined, as if about to face a great mission—something Kai noted silently before commenting calmly.

“Now, you don't have to accompany me. That you support me is more than enough for me. You can leave the rest to me and then help me analyze what I manage to get out of those people.”

“No, Kai. I told you, I'm your woman, and I'll be by your side through good times and bad. You won't have to face that alone anymore; I'll be with you.” Nemuri commented in a firm tone, which brought a small smile to Keiko's face. She soon replied with a playful smile.

“Your declaration lacks commitment, several levels worse than mine.”

“Oh really? And how was yours?” Knowing Keiko was trying to lighten the mood, Nemuri turned to look at her and asked curiously. At that moment, a recording began to play in the workshop.

[My only intention is to make you understand that I am always on your side, in good times and bad, in beauty and ugliness, and in health and sickness. Forever and always, I will be your best ally and accomplice. …]

“How romantic, you practically made your vows…”

A little surprised, Nemuri commented in a playful voice. For her part, Keiko looked at Kai with reproach, sure that Sage had recorded it and played it on his orders. And although she didn't regret having said it, as they were her true feelings, saying it in intimacy was one thing; hearing it now and in front of Nemuri was undoubtedly embarrassing.

“It was intentional! Kai is the man of my life and my only love. I just wanted to express it sincerely.”

After making her discontent with Kai clear, Keiko lifted her chin, then spoke in a proud tone, trying to hide the slight blush on her cheeks. Nemuri replied with a playful smile on her beautiful face.

“Fufu, you're quite the romantic.”

“Only with my love.” Keiko replied defiantly, which led to a playful war of words that ended after a while. At that moment, Kai commented in a calm voice.

“Let's go.”
