Chapter 267: Are we dealing with a ghost…?

--Saturday, July 4, 2172

“I find it hard to believe that rat could do something like this. Besides, since the last time, I’ve had an ‘eye’ on him, and he hasn’t done anything particularly noteworthy…” Kai replied in a serious tone, prompting Keiko to comment with equal seriousness.

“I also highly doubt that useless guy could pull off something like this. Still, I’ll start keeping an eye on him too.”

“It’s for the best… but what are we going to do? Someone clearly wants to harm us, and we don’t have a single clue who it might be, nor do we have solid evidence to go to the authorities.” Yumiko spoke with a solemn voice. Kai shook his head and responded in a thoughtful tone.

“I’d say they’re more interested in me… After all, last time, the sniper shot at me, and this time, it was only my Will Keeper that got activated.”

“Wanting to hurt you is the same as wanting to hurt us, Kai. Never forget that.” Keiko quickly countered with a serious tone. Yumiko added with solemnity as she took Kai’s hands.

“To get to you, they’ll have to go through us first.”

“…I understand.” Kai replied softly, gazing into Yumiko’s clear, sincere eyes, while the pair of mothers nodded in satisfaction. Quickly, Keiko spoke with seriousness.

“But since it’s a fact that someone is targeting you, it’s best to take precautions. Maybe you should stop going to UA for a while and work from home.”

“I don’t think it’ll make much difference. I don’t go out much anyway, and the few times this has happened, it was in places far from UA and home. Whoever is after me is likely cautious of UA and the security systems we have installed at home. Besides, if I stop going out, they might get impatient and attack someone in the family to ‘draw me out,’ which is what really worries me.

“At the end of the day, there are very few people capable of harming me. Even All Might would find it hard to seriously injure me. The only ones who managed to hurt me were those spiders, and that was only thanks to their strange conditional webs, and I’ve already taken effective measures against something like that. So, what worries me most is your safety. Most of my methods against things like the webs haven’t been properly adapted to work with the Accomplices.”

“Still, you can’t let your guard down, Kai. Just as you didn’t expect the webs, there could be other things that might put you in a tight spot. In this world full of quirks, you can never be 100% sure of anything. Just look at the situation we’re in—someone tried to control you and vanished from your senses, yet you couldn’t find a single clue.” Keiko commented with a serious tone. Yumiko nodded and added firmly.

“Yes. I think it’s better if we postpone the beach trip we had planned and the trip to I-Island. Better safe than sorry.”

“Actually, I think we should do the exact opposite.” Kai said in a thoughtful tone, prompting both mothers to ask in unison.

““What do you have in mind?””

“So far, these incidents have happened in places I’ve never been to. In other words, places where I didn’t have time to prepare anything. So, my hypothesis is that they have a lot to hide and are cautious of any systems we might have set up. Or more precisely, something Keiko might have installed.” Kai explained calmly, causing Keiko’s eyes to light up slightly as she commented.

“Then it’s highly unlikely they’d show up on my private island, since I’ve installed a highly specialized and practically illegal security system there. The only point of attack would be the airport here in Japan. They wouldn’t dare attack the flight since it’s well known that my private airplane has security systems comparable, if not superior, to the prime minister’s.

“Meanwhile, the security systems on I-Island are so thorough and robust that, without the help of a very high-level authority, it would be nearly impossible to infiltrate. Therefore, it’s very unlikely something would happen during the trip. And if it does, they’d practically be exposing themselves as someone from I-Island or someone with deep connections there, and we can always escape with Accompany.”

“Exactly. And though I don’t have any solid leads, I’ve detected high-level attempts to search for information about me on the net, and I highly doubt there are many places besides I-Island with people capable of that.” Kai stated seriously, prompting Keiko to nod with a dangerous look in her eyes. Yumiko, on the other hand, spoke in a slightly disappointed tone.

“I see… it’s a good plan… But now our vacation will have a bitter taste if we’re constantly on guard for a possible attack… I wanted to fully relax on this trip and leave all the issues with the collection and everything else behind…”

“Yeah… Those bastards are really going to ruin our vacation…” Keiko added with a mix of disappointment and anger, at which point Kai spoke seriously.

“Actually, before the trip, I’m planning to take down the quirk-stealer with All Might, while the Pussycats and Nemuri handle capturing his entire organization. So, while I doubt it’s him, if we take him out, it’s very likely the other party will become cautious and things will calm down for a while.”

“Kai… do you have to do something so dangerous?”

Yumiko asked with visible concern, while Keiko tightened her embrace around his neck slightly. Kai reached out to caress Yumiko’s cheek and explained in a serious tone.

“It’s necessary. The quirk-stealer already attacked UA once. The guy has no limits or inhibitions and already has his sights on the students. Who knows what he might be planning? So, to keep Momo and Nejire safe, I need to take care of that threat as soon as possible.”

““…””

Keiko and Yumiko fell silent with incredibly conflicted expressions, at which point Kai spoke in a soft, warm voice.

“Don’t make those faces. I’ve studied the quirk-stealer thoroughly, and All Might nearly killed him once. Now that All Might has recovered much of his strength and with me on board, the guy has no escape.”

“Take care of yourself, Kai… If things get dangerous, run immediately.” After a few moments, Yumiko spoke with a reluctant and conflicted voice, while Keiko added in a similar tone.

“Though I know I can’t stop you, never forget that you have a family waiting for you at home and your Keiko, who can’t live without you… Don’t leave us alone…”

“Don’t worry. I’m taking every possible precaution, and I haven’t stopped improving my strength and equipment to the fullest. This time, they won’t catch me off guard, I promise you that.”

Hearing Kai’s words, Keiko hugged him tighter, and Yumiko embraced him around the waist, burying her face in his abdomen. Kai began to gently stroke the silky hair of the two mothers with tender, slow movements. At the same time, Kai started to reflect deeply on what had happened before communicating with his trusted assistant.

[Did you find anything, Sage?]

[Not exactly, Master. There’s no news regarding the family, but I found something strange while reviewing today’s security footage here at Ayanami Mode.] Sage replied seriously, sitting on Kai’s head, and created several holographic screens displaying security videos.

In the footage, some people could be seen seemingly talking to themselves for a few seconds, as if speaking to a ghost. Additionally, in one of the videos, a model could be seen casually waving her hand at empty space, as if shooing someone away. Sage made special annotations to note that the direction the model waved toward was indeed where the ‘voice’ had been.

[Are we dealing with a ghost…?] Kai couldn’t help but ask, somewhat puzzled, prompting Sage to reply with an unsure tone.

[I don’t know, Master. But I’ve reviewed the data of every person who ‘interacted’ with the ‘ghost,’ especially the model, and I found nothing noteworthy. They’ve all been working for the company for over two years, their backgrounds are clean, and they match the records. Everything is normal.]

[Still, send me the list and keep an eye on them. It’s possible we’re dealing with a particularly troublesome quirk. I’ll handle asking some questions in person to see what I can find out.]

[Understood, Master. I’ll send it to your phone.]

Sage responded seriously, prompting Kai to nod in satisfaction. But at that moment, he noticed Yumiko starting to move in a strange way before standing up with her face completely red. Kai looked down only to realize that his ‘dragon’ with a mind of its own had awakened while he was focused on something else.

“Sorry, it was involuntary…”

Kai quickly apologized, somewhat embarrassed, prompting Keiko to look up. Seeing the bulge rising in Kai’s pants, Keiko smirked mischievously, sliding her hands down his chest as she commented in a soft, sensual voice.

“You don’t have to apologize, Kai… It’s not your fault… It’s because of Yumiko’s huge, bouncy breasts… She should take responsibility, don’t you think, Yumiko?”

“Keiko, we’ve talked about this… Don’t make things awkward.” Kai said in a slightly uneasy voice while activating his aura to deal with his disobedient body, at which point Keiko commented with a ‘wicked’ smile, looking directly at the blushing Yumiko.

“Oh, but Yumiko isn’t uncomfortable at all, is she? What do you say, Yumiko? Are you uncomfortable that your body gave our Kai an erection?”

“…” Yumiko simply lowered her head in silence, blushing even more, at which point Kai, managing to calm himself slightly, called out in a firm tone.

“Keiko.”

“Alright, alright, I won’t say anything else.” Keiko replied after giving a slightly disappointed look to Yumiko, who lowered her head further and let out a voice so soft it was almost a whisper.

“…I’m not uncomfortable…”

“What did you say, Yumiko? We didn’t hear you well.”

Keiko pressed with a mischievous and sensual voice, prompting Yumiko to bite her lip. But soon, under Kai’s surprised gaze, the beautiful blue-haired mother announced in a loud, visibly embarrassed voice that hid deep emotion.

“I’m not uncomfortable! I’m flattered!!”

Hearing the announcement, Keiko’s smile widened visibly, and as she took Kai’s hands, she commented in a melodic, sensual voice, almost like a tempting succubus.

“Fufu, I see, I see. Then shouldn’t you give ‘thanks’ to Kai for his compliment~?”

“Thanks…?”

Yumiko asked almost rhetorically while taking a deep breath and tightly pressing her thighs together, her eyes locked on Kai’s fading erection. Seeing Yumiko’s expression consumed by desire, Keiko whispered in a soft, playful voice, targeting her retired colleague’s weakness directly.

“Yes, thanks. You know how to give them, don’t you~?”

With her face completely red, Yumiko slowly brought her hands to her ample breasts, prompting Kai to widen his eyes and comment urgently.

“You can’t be serious. That’s a line we mustn’t cross! I’m in a relationship with Momo and Nejire, and I don’t want to do anything that could hurt them!”

Kai’s words caused Yumiko’s hands to freeze just at the lapel of her blazer, which revealed her pronounced cleavage. Meanwhile, Keiko, not willing to let the opportunity slip, quickly brought her lips to Kai’s ear and whispered softly and sensually, loud enough for Yumiko to hear as well.

“You’re in a relationship with six women at the same time, all of whom are willing to share you and live happily and satisfied, and we allow and support it. Even though those six women are women our age, lifelong friends, and our daughters, the people we love most in this world.

“It’s been a long time since we crossed a line with no turning back, Kai. Accept it, we’re a family of degenerates. No normal person could accept our lifestyle, yet we’re intensely happy. So, do you think in this family of degenerates anyone would care if you slept with a mother and her daughter? It’d be a miracle if that didn’t excite them.

“Or haven’t you noticed all the hints Nejire gives you? Or is it that you don’t find us attractive? Don’t you want to enjoy our bodies, our passion? Don’t you want to taste the delicious taboo of an Oyakodon? The frenzy of having a massive orgy with all the women you love? Don’t you want to make yours, and only yours, the women who will only ever let themselves be touched by you in this lifetime~?”

Knowing Kai better than anyone, Keiko hit all the right buttons to paint a picture of pure depravity in his mind, and soon her efforts paid off. Kai’s fading bulge rose again with unstoppable force, several times larger than before, causing the beautiful black-haired woman to smile with lust and passion before looking into Yumiko’s hazy, lustful eyes.

Knowing the opportunity she’d been waiting for had arrived, Keiko decided not to let it slip for anything in the world. She whispered into Kai’s ear, letting out all the lustful, obsessive love she’d kept firmly hidden in her heart for so many years.

“You don’t have to worry about anything, Kai… I love Momo more than anyone, and I’d never do anything to hurt her… She’s of my blood, a pervert just like her mother, completely crazed for a man to the point she’d do anything for him… So just stay here and enjoy our care, our passion, our bodies… Don’t worry about anything else… I’ve already talked to Nemuri and the others, and they agreed… you’re not doing anything wrong…”
