Chapter 168

-POV Citrine-

Flying at my top speed, I watch as the trees blur beneath me in the dark. I’m nervous about the fancy sex party mom invited me too. She said everyone will be taken to separate rooms, so I won’t be able to look over at mom for support like with the bulls. It’s a real test of whether I can handle this kind of thing now or not. Of course I know if something bad happens here, I can just tell her with my body at the party in Opal’s Home, and she’ll come to my rescue. Not like I’m expecting any danger, it’s just a little comforting.

I kind of want to see mom’s bunny-girl body in action. I wonder if there are any exceptions for threesomes? Realizing I got a bit off course, I orient myself to my arrow for old Liberation and correct it. The full moon is pretty bright tonight, so it’s easy to make out the details of the forest below me. In those details, I spot a large problem and hear a chime.

Shit, there goes my plans to join a masked sex party. Looking down at the camp from above, I think I should be able to take out a group of orcs like this alone… I can’t see the monster’s titles from here though, so I won’t try. I accept the trackers for both quests, and since there isn’t a timer on the rescue quest, the women shouldn’t be in immediate danger. Well, relatively I guess. Women can die from a lot of things in breeder camps. I turn around and follow my tracker for mom’s tiny body as fast as my wings will take me.

This place should be close to old Liberation too, so I use my body at Opal’s Home to tell mom about the quests and camp I found. “I’ll get everyone at the other party ready to help sweetie, fly there instead. Amber and I are fighting off a large group of undead that the frogmen stumbled into.” Opal tells me, so I turn around yet again with my marked body and head towards old Liberation. I try to excuse my other body from the party in Opal’s Home, but mom grabs me and says “The women at the other party have a lot of history with Orc Camps sweetie. So stay here and enjoy the party with this body. If we end up needing help, you can fly people over with Pearl.” My large Wyvern sister looks excited at the prospect after hearing mom, but is told to stay like me. Well, I have another body that will be helping, so I feel a little bad for my younger monster sister. Her husband Marble coaxes her with more meat though, and she calms down.

I’m interested in how they manage sex, but at the same time I don’t really want to think about it. Yeah, better to distract myself with the coming fight with the orcs.

-POV End-

Opal’s Bunny body

I sigh because we were just about to get started, but Jessica told me to meet her other body at her office in Barrier. I walk up to my son’s wife, who’s talking to another masked woman with brown hair. “Hey, I have to go, do you want your mask back now?” I interrupt them by asking, and she sighs saying “That’s two of you that have to go. Well more men for the rest of us. Keep the mask, we do this twice a week, Monday and Friday.” I nod, planning on coming back with Citrine for the next one. I’ll have to ask one of my daughters what Monday and Friday are.

As I go to put my clothes back on, the brown haired woman follows me to the clothes bins. We had just undressed a few minutes ago, and were about to line up for the men to pick. I’ll keep my mask on until I get far enough away from the building. I’ll probably see if I can get a prettier mask for next time too. As I exit the building, the other woman exits as well, and we walk near each other for a while before she coughs and asks “Are you following me?” I answer “Nope, I’m going this way to meet with my daughter, I’m not a stalker.” I only know what a stalker is because Citrine and Cindy were telling stories at the party, and it’s a problem for some humans.

The woman stops and asks “Opal?” I turn to her and answer “Yup, but don’t tell anyone. I want to be able to try again, so I shouldn’t break any rules.” The brown haired elf woman laughs and then looks around before walking close to me. She then lifts her mask a bit. I’m surprised because the woman is Jessica, who promptly lowers her mask again and puts a finger to her lips. I know that means to be quiet, so I nod and smile. We then walk side-by-side to her office building, and once we get to her office we take off our masks.

I give her a big hug and say “Those masks work really well, I didn’t think it would be you.” She seems happy and responds “That’s great, I’ve been going since they started having them. It was shortly after I got a second body from your skill. It gives me a way to get pregnant without any of the fathers trying to use my position for profit.” I remember that she really liked having babies, but always had a hard time, being busy. Her ex husband wasn’t any help either, because he’s afraid of having kids. She finishes by asking “Today was going to be your first time right? Sorry for pulling you away like that, I figured you’d just be in the dungeon again.”

I tell her “Yeah, but that’s okay sweetie. You wanted to talk to me about the orcs we’re about to attack right?” She pulls back from the hug and sits in her big chair, answering “That’s right, I also need your help gathering a few people. Could you go get Pops, Sam, and Yula for me? Finding that orc camp confirms one of my suspicions and we’ll need to act on it soon.” I wonder what it could be, but I can find out after picking everyone else up. I know where they all live, since she’s had me collect them and others before.

A few minutes later, I’m knocking on Pop’s door, and I hear a familiar grumbling after a minute of waiting. He looks upset when the door opens, but he looks me up and down asking “Work then?” I nod and tell him to head to the office. He grumbles and closes the door, probably to go get dressed. With him informed, I head to the next house and knock on the door. Sam lives here. He’s a human that used to work for Canton, but turned out to be a nice guy who’s been really helpful.

His live-in maid opens the door and when I tell her Sam needs to head to the office, she thanks me. “He may be a bit late, but I’ll get him ready as fast as possible.” She says in a kind voice. I know she isn’t a slave or anything, but one of the man’s aunts who needed a place to stay and had been a maid before the system came. I wonder if Amber would want to do anything like that with her high tier servant class, but I can always ask her later. If I remember of course.

I move towards Yula’s house last. She’s one of Jessica’s daughters who she’s trying to train to do her job as Landowner so we can take and control more Land. Yula in turn teaches a few others who are planning on establishing trading camps between our different owned Land. She lives by herself pretty far from the office, so I always pick her up last. She’s a nice girl with golden hair and turquoise eyes. She reminds me a lot of Citrine, but without the wings or large breasts from potions.

When I knock on the door, I hear some banging sounds that don’t settle down as I wait a minute. I then hear a quiet “Help.” from somewhere in the house, and quickly push open the door and enter, breaking the locks she had placed. My extra weight lets me do a lot of things easier like this. Once I get inside, the banging sounds more like struggling, and I run towards it. I enter the room and what I see surprises me. Pops is in the room naked and fucking Yula who’s struggling against him. He has a hand on her throat, choking her, and looks angry. I know Yula doesn’t like sex with men, and Pops would never force someone like this.

I’m shocked in place, but remember I just saw Pops at his house, and there’s no way he got here before me, even with the stop at Sam’s. I rush forward and tackle him off of Yula, holding him in place with my higher strength stat. This definitely isn’t Pops, since his strength has always been higher than mine, and holding whoever this is, is too easy. He starts trying to flail himself free, but I yell “Yula, are you okay?!” I hear her coughing behind me, but answer “Yeah, hold the fucker for me while I get pants on.” Her voice is a bit harsh, probably from being choked. I look back at the fake Pops under me, and realize that this is probably one of those dopple things.

It lets out a weird hiss but then stops moving. I watch as it turns into a familiar looking ugly monster, this one also now dead. I didn’t hit it or anything though, and it didn’t cum this time, so why did it die? It’s title that said -Derrick, Warmaster of Barrier- before, now gone, so I know it’s dead. I turn to Yula who’s pulling up her pants with tears in her eyes, and quickly rush to give her a hug. “I’ll be alright grandma… I’m lucky it didn’t get me pregnant.” She says after wiping her tears on my shirt. I didn’t think the ones that disappeared from Ruby’s Rest would already be here and doing stuff. If they’ve been breeding mostly in secret, just how many are we going to have to deal with?

I rub her hair and assure her “I’m here now, nothing can hurt you while grandma is around.” I think I’m going to have to make a plan with Morgan for finding these things fast. It didn’t really feel urgent before. As I start thinking of how to start, I calm Yula down some more and tell her “Don’t say anything about the monster yet. We don’t know for sure who might be one, but your mom wanted to talk to us at her office.” If we take too long, they’ll grow concerned and we’d have to explain what took us so long. I really don’t like lying to my daughter, so it’s better that she doesn’t get suspicious and ask at all.

My granddaughter agrees that it’s better to be safe, and quickly washes her face in some water. We leave shortly after and rush a bit in getting to the office to make up lost time. When we enter the office, Yula gives her mother a hug. Sam isn’t here yet, so I don’t need to worry about being late. Jessica hugs her daughter back and says “I love you too baby. Take your seat though, you have to be professional in meetings.” Her daughter nods and sits next to hopefully the real Pops. I can tell she’s a bit more stiff than usual, but no one asks about it, so I’m relieved inside.

Sam shows up a few minutes later, and he looks a bit frustrated, but says “Sorry I took so long, I was at a… uh… party.” Jessica motions for him to sit and responds “That’s fine, this is an unscheduled meeting, so you’re allow some leeway.” I guess a lot of people go to parties for fun. My daughter then continues “Now to the topic. I just had confirmed our fears about some monster camps not showing up on the quest board.” Pops and Sam both get a serious faces, and Yula responds “So there could be older camps with stronger monsters hiding nearby?” clarifying the issue.

Jessica nods with a somber face. She then goes on explaining to the others about the orc camp that Citrine found. I didn’t think it was such a big issue, and was just a good way for my old friends to bond taking out a camp of the monsters that we all have history with. Now that it’s explained to me though, I realize there could be any number of high tier monsters near our Land and the quest board doesn’t give quests for them. If they’re breeders, they could have been growing an army while we thought we were relatively safe.

There is suddenly so much to deal with, but I have a basic plan for the dop things. “Morgan, can you talk to me in the room?” I ask my secret Shifter daughter at the party.
