Chapter 165

-POV Jenny, Guard of Woodville-

The undead leader is relentless with his self-healing abilities and tower shield. I try to knock it aside so my friends can get a good shot at his head, but he shrugs off my blow again. -Jeff, the Zombie Paladin- is the title above his head. I’ll laugh later at the System’s strange humor, after we’ve turned back this horde. We had just established contact with our first friendly city, so we can’t let this OP zombie get into our walls. The messenger said they were led by elves, a real fantasy race…

“It’s ready!” My friend, and the city’s Landowner yells, so I use my short stun skill. The zombie freezes and Brad tackles the massive shield out of the things iron grip. There’s a bright flash of light as the monster starts moving again, but I watch a thin white line cuts the thing in half from left to right. I feel a searing pain at my elbow, but ignore it and charge the half zombie. When I go to bash it with my shield, I notice nothing happens and I ram it with my shoulder instead. Realizing I’ve somehow lost my shield arm, I quickly scramble to disentangle before I end up bitten.

Luckily I get some distance from the still struggling half corpse before getting infected, and I watch as skill after skill hits the now shield and legless enemy. I can see it’s still healing itself through the bombardment, so I rush forward again and swing my heavy mace at it’s head. I get off 9 swings before it’s skull finally caves, getting hit by a few friendly skills in the process. I hear the system ding, but turn to help with the nearest group of fodder zombies instead of checking it. With their leader gone, now is the best time to get rid of as many as possible before they scatter.

This successful defense will help show our worth to the city ruled by elves. With enough gifts and leverage, maybe we can convince them to help with our real problem, Slaver cities. Just thinking about our foul human enemies enrages me, and I snap a lich’s head off with a single swing of my mace. How can so many of our own kind act like monsters during such a crisis?

I let out more of my anger as I smash through the remaining horde with my friends and neighbors.

-POV Jeff-

…… Brains?

Ding!

Jeff, the Zombie Paladin Died

Sentience restored

Brains… wait, why brains and did that box just say I died?

Congratulations!

Due to your accomplishments while a monster, you have been selected.

If you choose to participate in Dungeon Duty, you will have the opportunity to regain life and your status as a Player.

Notice: Feedback from the Dungeon Duty system has been largely negative.

If you accept, you will be assigned a Rare Boss Room in a dungeon and given quests to earn points towards your eventual freedom.

If you decline, you will remain dead and lose out on this wonderful opportunity.

Accept? Y/N

That is a lot to take in all at once. First, I guess I got turned into a zombie and caused enough damage to be selected for this Dungeon Duty thing. I hope I didn’t kill anyone I cared about… Who am I kidding, Daria and Sara totally would have kicked my ass and I probably died being pulverized by Opal. My last moments as a Player are finally coming back to me, and of course I died because of sex. I sigh to myself, but don’t hear or feel anything. I guess being kind of dead doesn’t give my brain much input. I won’t even try to figure out how I can even think while dead, probably System magic stuff.

This is definitely my punishment for cheating on my girlfriends and tricking Snow into sex.

Well, what kind of punishment would it be if I didn’t accept? Besides, not existing at all is kind of scary. I accept, and hear another ding, a screen popping up in front of me.

Dungeon Duty Accepted

20th Floor Rare Boss Room open

Tier and Level adjusted

There’s a flash of light and I have a body again. I’m standing in a completely empty dungeon room. I know it’s a dungeon room because I’d recognize those stones anywhere. I feel a stinging in my head, and somehow just know that what I can say out loud is limited, and even my actions are shackled. If I had to guess, that would be the reason for the negative feedback, but I just started so I could be wrong. I decide to check my Status, to see what I’m dealing with here, but all I get is my name.

Name: Jeff, the Lustful Zombie Paladin

It didn’t have the Lustful part in the earlier message, so it’s probably new, and it always just had my first and last name before. Being a zombie is going to be a hassle, but lustful is pretty accurate I suppose. I sigh and actually hear and feel it this time, even if it is kind of creepy sounding. Well, do I just wait in an empty room forever for some Player to show up and kill me? I sniff and luckily don’t smell any rotting flesh.

Ding!

-POV End-

Opal’s body at old Liberation

It’s almost time for other people to show up, so I turn my head to address my wonderful wife. Her large breasts are in the way as I look up from her lap, but that’s fine and I tell her “Tina and Steph are almost here, so we should get dressed since they’re wearing clothes.” I know they’re close because I have one of my other bodies with them, and it would be rude to be naked if not everyone wants to be naked. She stops her beautiful humming and I feel her grab my boob before responding “Well, then it’s a good thing we already finished up. Which uniforms are we wearing, white or black and gold?”

I think wearing the uniforms we had when everyone was still together would be more fun, so I answer “Let’s do white, do we have any of the old bracelets with my stone?” Sitting up from her lap reluctantly, I walk over to the chest we keep extra clothes in. She says “I think I brought some with me last time, but you might have to dig a bit.” Citrine owns old Liberation, so I can’t just buy a new set here to get them for us. Her black and gold uniforms are really popular with all her kids though, so I won’t have her transfer it just for bracelets. What if another group comes by wanting to stock up again?

I find a few of my bracelets at the bottom of the chest, and toss one to my still naked wife. She catches it and asks “You flew past the lake with Citrine right? How much longer do you think our other bodies will have to walk to get there?” I find a white shirt with a much larger chest area and throw it her way as well before responding “I’m not sure sweetie, if we don’t stop at too many more streams or ponds, then maybe a day or two?” The march through the woods with everyone was novel at first, but it’s quickly gotten boring for everybody. I’m not surprised she keeps asking when we’ll get there.

I remember something I forgot to mention and add “Oh, and this body is pregnant now, so we’ll have more babies in a few hours.” Thinking about it, it probably happened when she stuck her fingers in me after masturbating earlier. It’s nice to have a skill that lets Amber get me pregnant like this sometimes. Luckily I’m bringing a few more bodies so this one being pregnant won’t cause an issue for the party. My wife gives me a strong hug, lifting me off the ground, so I wiggle in her arms happily. “That’s great news Opal. Let me know when you’re giving birth so I can be there for it. I don’t mind missing an hour or so of the party to be there.” She says.

I agree and tell her “I’ll keep this body here so you won’t have to go far wife.” It makes me feel warm inside that she wants to be there when I have our babies. It’s one of the big differences between my daughters and the monsters I have kids with. The monsters don’t ever ask to see their babies being born, even the nice ones like the hounds. My daughters are also usually more enthusiastic about it than the male players I have babies with. We all like having babies with the exception of Citrine, who only really likes when I have her babies. Maybe now that she’s wanting to go to sex parties with us, that will change too and she’ll enjoy having her own babies.

If she doesn’t, that’s fine too though. Whatever makes her the happiest. She’s on her way to our house at Opal’s Home with her unmarked body for the other party. Some people like her and Cindy felt left out for not being invited to the old Liberation party, so the party there will be going on at the same time. Amber wanted to go to both like I am, but Citrine said that wouldn’t be fair. I’m glad they all agreed that I’m special and can go to both. With so many things going on at once it almost feels like I don’t have enough bodies. I feel sorry for people who just have one at times like this.

The shorts are a little harder to figure out, since we’re all about the same size there. My daughters do take after me a lot in that regard, but my butt is still the best. I just don’t tell them that because it’s rude to point it out. Since the sizes are so close, it sometimes doesn’t matter who’s shorts we get, but we want to look our best for the party. We finally finish getting dressed and head to the gate to greet the people arriving.

Sapphire is actually the first to show up, since she got a ride from one of her monster hound sons. “I remember when we first found you getting mounted by a hound, who would have thought we’d see it the other way around.” Amber says to her blue haired sister in a teasing tone. Sapphire responds “It’s fun either way, you should try it some time. Mom’s milk gets rid of addictions right? I’m sure Max would love to have a shot at you sis.” I can tell she’s not being serious, which is good since Max is probably way too large for my poor wife. Cindy was really brave trying it that one time, but I wouldn’t suggest doing it for fun unless someone has a skill like Sapphire or me.

As they’re bantering, Jessica gets dropped off by one of Citrine and my angel sons. I tell him he’s invited to the other party, but he declines saying “It would be nice to chat with you and other mom again, but I promised my wife I’d be back in time for the orgy she planned.” It would be silly to feel left out, but I ask anyway “I have another body over in Barrier. Can you ask her if I could go too?” My bunny body doesn’t have a lot of sex, even though it can be pretty fun with it’s extra speed. I just usually have to stick around Jessica as she takes care of the Citadel. Since her body that I’m married to is here, I should be free tonight.

He tells me where it will be, but says I’ll have to ask his wife, since he might be a little late for it. I start heading that way with that body, and give Jessica a big hug with this one. “I’m glad you were able to make it in time sweetie, you’re actually one of the first to arrive. I thought you’d be late like Ruby and Tasha.” I’m glad almost everyone from our days in the orc pillories will be able to make it.

A while later, when everyone but Ruby and Tasha have shown up, we start making the cooking pits and bath by working together. It’s just like when we used to do it before, but everyone has gotten better. Tina is no longer restricted to just mud, and can do some pretty fun stuff with stones. She tells me “I have one skill that’s weird and doesn’t seem to do anything useful except wake up rocks. Since you’re pretty dense sometimes, it might work on you.” I know she’s teasing me for getting put to sleep by someone a tier below me, but Amber defends me saying “Opal is dense, but we all love her for it.”

There are a lot of nods, which makes me happy, so I do a little wiggle and everyone laughs. I know dense means heavy for my size, which is one of my best qualities. It’s nice to be recognized. Ruby and Tasha finally show up together, so it’s time to start cooking some pigs. We’re going to do the giant bath together after food since some people are messy eaters. I give Amber a pat on the head and she smiles at me. It’s a good thing I don’t have to say things I think out loud, I feel like I might have been scolded for being rude otherwise.
