Chapter 140

We finally finish clearing out the zombies from the Citadel, and the green flame at the top of the tower turns a bright red color. It’s super pretty, and I think it changed because Ruby got ownership of the place. So I walk up to her with my Eidolon body and ask “So what are you going to name it? You wanted to keep it right?” She nods and seems to think for a bit before declaring “It will be named Ruby’s Rod… for obvious reasons.” She blushes a bit, and Penny giggles. I guess it’s because it looks like a giant rod sticking up out of the ground.

“Penny, do you mind being in charge of my rod like we planned?” Ruby asks and her wife giggles again before answering “Of course honey, you can leave it in my gentle hands. On a more serious note, I get you every other day just like we all agreed. I don’t want to leave here and drag you back for some alone time.” Ruby blushes, but gives her wife a hug and tells her “Of course Pen Pen, Tasha would kick me out if I tried to stay more than a day.” I guess they made an arrangement for who gets Ruby each day. Having only one body must be hard.

My daughter then turns to me and asks “Mom, you’re still going to be staying with us in Ruby’s Rest tonight right?” I nod and say “Of course sweetie, I haven’t snuggled with you and Tasha in forever, so I’m looking forward to it.” She gets a big smile and we start getting everyone ready to leave, or find somewhere to stay in the Citadel. The women that I rescued have all gotten their limbs and eyesight back, which caused a lot of them to cry. Not being able to move or see anything is really scary, but luckily none of them seem to remember the horrible stuff that happened to them in the room. I still don’t know how to free them from my ownership, since no one we came with knew. I’ll have to ask Citrine about it once her and Amber are done with the lops.

I feel a little sad remembering that I still won’t see them for a long time, and ask Ruby with my little body. “Can I ride on your shoulders on the way back, I’m a bit heavy, but I miss getting carried around by Citrine.” Ruby is 6th tier so she shouldn’t have any problems at all carrying me, and it could be a fun distraction. She gets a bright expression and answers “Yes! I mean, of course mom. Leave it to me.” She then kneels down so I have an easier time climbing her, and I quickly sit on her shoulders. “Thanks sweetie, if it gets uncomfortable just let me know.” I tell her, and Ruby gives me a thumbs up.

Using that gesture has gotten pretty popular with the elves, and I think it was Cindy who started it. She’s always doing it to tell people they did a good job at something. I resist the urge to wiggle, since it might throw off my daughter’s balance as she’s standing up. I rub her head instead and turn to Sapphire, who’s trying to get my attention. “Good, you haven’t left yet mom. Crim wants to go with you two back to Ruby’s Rest.” I see my grandbaby walk slowly up to us. She must still be weak, getting used to her new limbs. I nod and pat Ruby’s head again saying “Go ahead and put me down sweetie, Crim should get a ride instead.”

Ruby turns and sees her daughter limping towards us and quickly puts me down. “Hey baby, are you doing okay? Just hop on Momma’s back and I’ll carry you home.” Neither of us think it would be better for me to have a shoulder ride, and I’m happy to give up my spot for the poor girl. Crim blushes, but hops onto her mom’s back anyway. It looks kind of funny since they look almost exactly alike. Crim was one of her daughters that used a few of the breast size potions, so I can easily tell them apart.

She looks over at me and says “Thanks for giving up your spot Gram. I owe you again.” I just shake my head and tell her “There’s no need for that silly. I’m your grandma, so it’s my job to spoil you.” For some reason saying that feels familiar, but I really can’t remember where I heard it before. Strange. I guess I haven’t had any of those feelings in a long time, and now it’s going to bug me all day. Sapphire asks “Can you also take Blue back to the pack? He’s been complaining about how bad it smells here.” I nod and agree, since my hound body can smell the same stuff, and it’s pretty annoying. “Hey Blue, do you mind giving my little body here a ride?” I ask him with my Eidolon body. He wags his tail and indicates that he agrees, but only if I pet him while I’m up there.

My normal body that isn’t married to Amber is the one I decide to have stay behind. It has the worst nose, and I want my Amber body to be in Opal’s Home until she finishes with the dungeon. That way I can make sure the dungeon stays safe, and can react more quickly if she needs me. I know it’s not very likely that anything will happen in the next few months, but I worry about my wife. Maybe I’m just… lonely? I still have Cindy and Sapphire to do stuff with, and I can visit Marble. It’s just not the same though. Maybe if Citrine was out it would be different, but I feel like I’m not as close with my other kids as with those two.

I think about it, and I still don’t believe I have romantic feelings for my angel daughter. What was it that Cindy called Sapphire? That’s right, Citrine is my best friend. I think that’s what it is at least. Cindy and Sapphire are really close with each other and always have this great feeling. That’s what I have with Citrine. Probably. It’s another thing that I’ll have to ask her about when she gets out.

As I’m riding towards Ruby’s Rest on the back of my fluffy hound ride, I get distracted from my thoughts when my red haired vampire daughter asks “Mom, do you mind if we put off having sex with your little body for another night. I still really want to, but Crim will need lots of snuggles tonight for being such a strong kid. That and I’m pretty happy that she ended up being alive.” I’m a bit confused and say “I wasn’t going to have sex with you using this body. I told you I couldn’t remember?” She gives me a weird look and says “I thought you meant you couldn’t because you’d get pregnant before the fight? Did you mean at all?” I nod and answer “Yeah, sorry I wasn’t more specific. I didn’t mean to tease you, but I promised Citrine I wouldn’t have sex with other people using this one.”

I see her slap her own face and respond “That’s okay mom, I should have realized with the way you worded it before. Is it just your little body? Can we have a sex date using your big one?” I nod and smile, saying “Yup, that would be fine sweetie, it’s only this one. You should probably get a bigger bed for my Lofty body though.” She laughs and I see Crim blushing really bright on her back. I hope she wasn’t too excited for sex with my Eidolon body, but she seems interested in my Lofty one now, so it should be fine. I do feel a little bad about not being clear and getting her hopes up.

I wouldn’t even have noticed something like that a year ago, so I smile to myself for getting so smart.

Opal’s body Old Liberation Dungeon

It’s been almost two weeks since we took out the zombie Citadel, and the attacks on our camps by zombies have gotten smaller. Well, not the ones on Barrier, but it’s really far away. I wonder if they would get better if we found the Citadels close to it? Jessica says it’s not a priority, since we still have people missing. They’re probably in human slaver camps, but the biggest ones moved somewhere after we took the city, and we haven’t found where yet. Normally I’d think they were just taken out by zombies, but there was a slave who escaped from them while traveling. They told us that the slavers were really well coordinated, and somehow got word that we took out Canton.

Oh well, the most we can do until we find where they went is deal with the smaller camps, and that’s what most of Barrier’s resources are being put towards. I got super bored of dungeons, and have switched over to doing quests from the board. I found out something amazing. Since each of the quests gives at least one level, I’m leveling much faster than I would in a dungeon. Well, this body is in a dungeon still, but that’s so I can keep and eye out for if Jett leaves the dungeon.

The quests seemed pretty useless when I was lower tier because I could just run a dungeon and get levels faster. Now that most of my classes are 6th tier, they need a huge amount of experience just for one or two levels. That’s why the quests are so good now. I just need to follow the quest arrow to a monster den, wipe it out, and get a level or two in all my classes. Since I’m the only one doing them from Old Liberation, I don’t have to worry about competing with the kids, like I would if I got them from Opal’s Home.

It’s a lot more interesting, and reminds me of my early days in the forest before I got brought to Liberation. Most of the dens that pop up are zombie ones, but they still give levels, so I can’t complain. Using the quest board over the past week with 2 of my bodies, I’ve managed to get my Tank class ready to tier up. My Hellbitch class won’t be far behind either, and if I keep up this pace… I’ll be ready for 7th tier in the other two within another week. The quests really do feel like the easy way now, and I should have thought of it sooner.

The dungeons still aren’t useless since they give lots of items, but I usually give mine to my kids anyway. I would be using more bodies for the quests, but when I do that, there are long stretches of time where there aren’t any monster den quests available. They need time to respawn, which is a bit lame for leveling, but is probably a good thing for camps not getting attacked by tons of monsters. If I didn’t have Old Liberation all to myself, I might only be able to grab one or two a week. I remember we consolidated a lot of our camps into just a few since zombies were attacking, but I’m tempted to send bodies to some of them just for more quest boards.

That’s probably not a good idea though, since I can’t make more statues to defend them while I’m away. Okay, my Lofty body just finished off the normal 30th floor boss with Cindy and Sapphire back in Opal’s Home, so I should go ahead and tier up my tank class.

Ding!

Options for your Tier 6 Class.

*Epic and Rare options available*

-Myriad Aegis-(Epic)Str/Vit/End/Dex +64, Int/Wis+32 Free Points +160

You use your many bodies to protect what’s important to you. You get this option for having many bodies, choosing to take large amounts of damage meant for others, and rescuing many people.

-Dungeon Protector-(Rare)Str/Vit/End +64, Dex/Wis +32 Free Points +160

You have continued on the path of the Dungeon Aegis. This is a continuation of your current class.

-Milk Martyr-(Rare)End/Wis/Int +64, Str/Dex+32 Free Points +160

You help those in need using your body and it’s bounty. You get this option for healing others with your milk, and blocking damage meant for others using your own body.

The two rare choices are probably both really good from what their descriptions say, but one more Epic class is too hard to pass up. It helps that it talks about my bodies, so I’m hoping it will do something that will make my Special class even better. Maybe there will be a way to make even more of me, and cheaper. It probably won’t though. Maybe. I select it, hear the same chime as always, and check the screen, along with the new skill for the class.

(Tier 5) Dungeon Aegis Level 50 is now

(Tier 6) Myriad Aegis Icon Level 1

Dungeon Aegis stats per level removed.

Myriad Aegis level 1 skill unlocked

(New)Defense Line of One: (Passive)

Decrease damage taken for each of your bodies in the same combat.

That sounds really good. If I had all of my bodies in the same fight, would I be able to ignore damage from a 7th tier? I’m not sure how much of a difference each body makes, so I guess it could be completely useless… It’s probably really good though. I do a little wiggle, and start fighting with my other bodies again. With this one I open the chest to find

(Cumslave Elixir)Feed to an ally to give them the Cumslave Special class.

Well that’s useless. I might have thought about keeping it if I wasn’t super smart now, but it has slave in the title. So there’s no way I’d give it to someone I consider an ally. Special classes are important after all. I toss it over my shoulder and put the monster orbs from this run into the chest. When I get outside I see a surprising sight. Citrine is laying at the foot of the stairs, still passed out of course, but I don’t see Jett or Amber around. I quickly put down the chest and go to pick up my angel daughter. Yeah, she still seems fine, and is even pretty clean. I carry her up the stairs, but still don’t see a sign of my wife or son.

He must have dropped Citrine off outside for some reason and then gone back into the dungeon with Amber. Maybe something in the dungeon was affecting her, and he was worried keeping her there would cause problems? I place her on the bed we use to snuggle sometimes and ask Sapphire with my Lofty body to come here and check her. I don’t know why he wouldn’t stick around to tell me what’s wrong. I can’t help but worry about it, but she at least seems fine, so I’m probably being silly. Why can’t months be shorter… I want to snuggle my wife. I’ll probably be cuddling with Citrine’s passed out body a lot.
