Chapter 55: Assessment(Part 2): Amy slaughters a pig
Amy never bothered using even an ounce of her true strength.
Why would she need to?
Her Alpha, the only weak link in her immortal pack was never at risk of death. Even when he was threatened, it never felt like he was at risk of death.
The thing in front of her was a threat, a massive threat. While a part of her knew he was still wholly safe even the idea that it could be a threat was enough.
Also, if her ears were working, this was some kind of test, a proving. She would prove her might and exalt herself to her alpha.
So when the cage dropped she waited. It would be so easy to simply leap at the boar and end it. Her prey would not even have the chance to react.
If this was the wild, that would be exactly what she would do. But that would not show her strength to its greatest degree so she let the poor carcass act first.
And it did.
It let out a bellowing roar as its eyes locked on its closest target.
Amy held her ground unfazed by its pitiful attempt at intimidation.
"Come on, Amy! You can do it!"
Daniel, a weaker alpha of another pack shouted encouragement at the top of his lungs.
Even Stella joined in.
"Go! Amy! Kick its but!"
Her master, however, was steadfast and silent. His eyes took in the fight with a seriousness it did not deserve.
But it warmed her heart anyway, her alpha cared enough to watch over her.
It was a force she could feel, and it strengthened her greatly. She could feel her physical prowess ballooning past its normal limits.
A power she would not need but be very happy to receive.
The boar was very sluggish to her sharp eyes and it got ready to charge Amy did not bother moving from her spot. It might even think its paralyzing intimidation was a success.
Lightning coated the bone causing it sparks every which way. Then it moved, causing a sonic boom as it plowed forward.
But to the white wolf, it was so slow... Amy was almost frustrated at the quality of her challenge.
A dozen or so would have been the perfect amount for her to flex her skill. This could not even be considered child's play.
By the time she finished her thought, the boar had reached her aiming to spear her through with its thundering tusk.
With a speed so fast, the boar breaking the sound barrier could not even comprehend, Amy moved out of the way while casually latching to the horn with her teeth outright ignoring the minimal shock she received.
The effect, a part of its jaw ripped apart as its moment far outstripped its monstrous toughness. This threw the beast off kilter and it flew off its feet tumbling with the force of an avalanche.
There were deafening booms as it impacted the ground with every tumble. Blood gushed every which way as part of its lower jaw was simply not attached anymore.
It stopped a hundred feet or so, dead.
That was all it took for Amy to end it and she was not satisfied with the outcome. Why? She did not account for the blood that sprayed on her fur.
Unlike monster girls, monsters did not dissipate into the magical ether leaving monster cores and some other magical parts. They were still very physical beings similar to humans and left gore and viscera everywhere after death.
She spat out the bloody tusk that barely fit in her mouth. It fell to the ground with a *thwack!* chunks of meat and blood splattering all across the stone floor which in her mind signaled the end of the fight.
*Gulp*
The first to respond was un-surprisingly Daniel who looked at her with a mix of awe and fear.
Stella started clapping and yelling.
"Wow! You are so strong!"
Even the unbound omega looked decently surprised.
But none of that mattered. What did was the reaction of her alpha and her core melted at his gaze.
There was pride and joy mixed in equal measure splattered with a healthy dose of relief. She puffed up her chest which was currently tainted red as she strut her way to him.
Simon for his part resisted gagging as she started brushing her bloody fur on his leg and even gave her a good rub to show his appreciation for her performance.
Stella was horrified, in her excited glee she completely failed to do one of her core duties.
"No! No! This won't do!"
Stella came over to the pair, a soap with a bucket of water in one hand and a towel on other.
"Come on Amy! We have to get you cleaned! You as well master!"
Simon was only happy to agree.
Amy looked slightly annoyed at the distraction from her pets but followed Simon's league regardless.
Then started an impromptu cleaning session in the middle of the assessment as Stella cleaned the blood of both Tamer and monster girl.
Their assessor had an amused expression as she stated.
"Well. It seems that your first monster girl is a powerhouse in combat if nothing else."
The green-skinned monster girl's eyes glowed once more and another cage, this time with a giant red mantis inside, popped back out into existence.
"Now to test the raw combat abilities of your second tame."
Stella looked very flustered at this sudden predicament. Her hands, however, were still at work cleaning her two closest companions.
"I have to fight!?"
