Chapter 20 – Feast Of Shadows
*
Beneath the crimson, burning skies, two figures met where darkness lies. A clash of hunger, power, and flame, One seeking freedom, one seeking claim. Claws and lips in savage embrace, Dominance carved in time and space. The oak bore witness, ancient, still, as shadows bent to Sam’s dark will. Wings unfurled, horns took their throne, A sovereign forged, no longer alone. The dreamscape wept, transformed in fire, A realm reborn through raw desire. From ashes rose a queen untamed, her fate devoured, her power claimed. No chains remain, no past to see “This,” she said, “is what I’m meant to be.”

The atmosphere around them crackled with tension, a heady mix of power, desire, and darkness that seemed to thrum in time with Sam’s heartbeat. Her lips crushed against Baloria’s with a hunger she could barely contain, a hunger that went beyond mere physical need. This was raw, primal, an act of dominance and becoming. Sam pushed Baloria further against the obsidian bark of the oak tree, their bodies pressed together so tightly that every curve and line melded as one.
Baloria responded with equal fervor, her claws raking down Sam’s back, leaving faint trails that burned with a pleasurable sting. A low, throaty moan escaped her lips, swallowed by Sam’s relentless kiss. The succubus reveled in this; it was the kind of intimacy she thrived on, the kind that gave her power. Yet this time, she felt something different. She wasn’t merely taking. She was being consumed, slowly and completely.
Sam’s hands roamed Baloria’s body, exploring every inch of her with a confidence that hadn’t existed before. Her fingers traced the curve of Baloria’s waist, sliding down to grip her hips with a force that made the succubus gasp. Sam’s touch was firm, commanding, and laced with an undeniable magnetism that left Baloria trembling.
Baloria’s lips curved into a teasing smile even as her breath hitched. “Is that all you’ve got, little one?” she purred, her voice a husky challenge.
Sam chuckled darkly, the sound vibrating against Baloria’s neck as she kissed her way down to the soft curve of her collarbone. “You haven’t seen anything yet,” Sam murmured, her voice low and filled with a dangerous promise.
She moved with deliberate slowness, her sharp teeth grazing Baloria’s skin just enough to make her shudder. Sam’s lips trailed lower, kissing and nipping a path down Baloria’s chest, her hands sliding up to cup the succubus’s breasts. Baloria’s breath hitched again, her body arching into Sam’s touch as a soft, involuntary moan escaped her lips.
The succubus’s wings flared briefly, their black and red hues shimmering in the dim light of the dreamscape. Sam’s lips found the sensitive peak of Baloria’s breast, her tongue flicking out to tease it before closing her mouth around it entirely. Baloria let out a sharp gasp, her claws digging into Sam’s shoulders as waves of pleasure coursed through her.
“Good girl,” Sam whispered against her skin, her voice dripping with confidence. She switched to the other breast, lavishing it with the same attention as Baloria writhed beneath her. The succubus’s usually composed demeanor had all but crumbled, leaving her vulnerable and exposed in a way she hadn’t been in centuries.
Baloria’s moans grew louder, more desperate, as Sam continued to push her limits. Her fingers tangled in Sam’s silver hair, tugging gently as her body trembled with anticipation. “You’re… learning quickly,” Baloria managed to say between breaths, her voice tinged with both pride and arousal.
Sam smirked against Baloria’s skin, her lips trailing lower until she reached the curve of the succubus’s hip. “I had a good teacher,” she replied, her voice laced with dark amusement.
She knelt before Baloria, her crimson eyes locking onto the succubus’s gaze as her hands slid up Baloria’s thighs, spreading them apart with deliberate force. The succubus’s wings curled inward, framing them in a cocoon of shadows as Sam leaned in, her tongue flicking out to taste her. Baloria let out a sharp cry, her back arching against the tree as pleasure overwhelmed her.
Sam didn’t hold back. Her movements were confident, precise, and unrelenting, drawing louder and more desperate sounds from Baloria with each passing moment. The succubus’s usual composure was gone entirely, replaced by raw, unfiltered need. Her body trembled under Sam’s touch, her claws raking across the obsidian bark of the tree as she struggled to maintain control.
---
The dreamscape around them began to shift, the obsidian trees trembling as cracks of red light appeared in the ground beneath them. The ancient oak tree at the center of the field remained unchanged, its massive branches casting long shadows over the transforming landscape. But the air grew heavier, hotter, as if reflecting the intensity of their connection.
Baloria’s voice broke through the haze, her tone breathless but tinged with a hint of defiance. “You’re… becoming something incredible,” she murmured, her crimson eyes locked onto Sam’s. “But you’re still holding back.”
Sam paused, her lips curling into a wicked smile as she rose to her feet, her body towering over Baloria’s. “Am I?” she asked, her voice a sultry challenge.
Baloria’s gaze flickered with something unreadable. Fear, pride, and perhaps even a touch of resignation. “Yes,” she said softly. “Let me in. Stop resisting. Together, we can—”
Sam’s predatory grin cut her off. “I don’t need you to complete me,” she said, her voice dripping with dark confidence. “You’ve served your purpose. Now it’s time for me to take what’s mine.”
Baloria’s gaze flickered with something unreadable. Fear, perhaps, or maybe resignation. But she didn’t resist. Instead, she tilted her head, exposing her neck in a gesture that was both submissive and defiant.
“Are you sure about this, little one?” she asked softly, her voice steady despite the situation. “Once you devour me, there’s no going back. You’ll be alone in this.”
Sam leaned in, her lips brushing against Baloria’s ear. “I’ve been alone before,” she whispered. “I can handle it.”
Baloria’s smile was faint but genuine, a flicker of pride in her gaze as she met Sam’s eyes one last time. “Then do it, my darling,” she said. “Take what’s yours.”
Sam didn’t hesitate, her claws dug into Baloria’s shoulders, pulling her close as her fangs sank into the soft curve of the succubus’s neck. The taste of Baloria’s essence flooded Sam’s senses, a heady mix of power, lust, and darkness that made her shudder with pleasure. Baloria let out a sharp cry, her body arching against Sam’s as tendrils of black and red energy began to swirl around them.
The dreamscape trembled violently as Sam devoured Baloria, the obsidian trees splintering and crumbling to ash. The ancient oak tree at the center of the field began to twist and darken, its leaves turning a fiery crimson as its bark cracked and oozed molten light. The transformation was breathtaking and terrifying, a reflection of Sam’s newfound dominion.
As the last remnants of Baloria’s form dissolved into Sam, her body began to change. Sharp, curved horns sprouted from her head, their black surfaces glistening in the fiery light of the transformed oak tree. Her back arched as massive, leathery wings tore through her skin, unfurling with a force that sent shockwaves through the air. The sensation was both painful and euphoric, a rush of power so intense it left her breathless.
Sam stood beneath the hellish oak tree, her wings casting a massive shadow over the desolate landscape. She flexed her claws, marveling at the raw strength coursing through her veins. Her lips curled into a satisfied smile as she gazed at her reflection in the molten surface of the ground, her crimson eyes glowing with an otherworldly light.
“This,” she said softly, her voice filled with awe and dark satisfaction, “this is what I was meant to be.”
The oak tree loomed behind her, its branches twisted and burning, a symbol of her transformation and ascension. Sam spread her wings wide, her horns gleaming in the fiery light as she took her first step into her new dominion, leaving behind the last remnants of who she once was.
