Chapter 65 – Nasty Clients in a Nasty Shop*
The next day before my duel dueling with Yugao I used my [Shadow Clone Technique] to check on the shady shop.
I disguised my shadow Clone with a [Transformation Jutsu] on top.
My appearance of choice? The second mizukage, Gengetsu Hozuki. A tall blonde man with combed-back blonde hair and a face that just screams minor villain with his small goatee and two small triangles for a mustache.
I’m not worried at all about being recognized. Not only has the man been dead for over 60 years, but the use of transformation and clones to visit shady shops is a known tactic for ninjas.
That's also the reason why I have little hope for this lead. Most likely someone just disguised as Kurenai to spread rumors damaging her reputation but it was worth checking.
The shop wasn't even that scandalous...It’s just a regular sex shop... I was expecting a brothel or at the very least a strip club.
There are laws against using the appearance of ninjas from Konoha and allied villages while stripping or soliciting, but I can understand how the business has become so huge.
Not only is life fleeting in this world, but any ninja with minor training can take on the appearance of the most beautiful woman or if you ask nicely, your childhood crush as she pleases you for money.
This makes brothels the most common workplace for retired female genin ninjas who don’t make much of an earning risking their life in missions below B rank.
This on the other hand made sex work a very competitive environment since after mastering a decent transformation jutsu the biggest difference between workers is their seduction and sex skills.
This is another reason why female ninjas, or kunoichi are in an extremely lower ratio compared to men.
Besides most girls not wanting to enlist in ninja academies and risk their lives in such a dangerous profession, many aren't allowed to enroll from the start due to their loving parents being unwilling to risk the life of their princess.
After Ninja Academy, many females also grow tired of all the blood and death and retire once they find someone willing to provide for them or find safer work, lured by the promise of safer profit in other industries or jobs such as bodyguarding.
At the top, most of the kunoichi that reach Jonin level belong to ninja clans and intend to take up leadership positions in the future.
Even if I look at just the main cast, Sakura, Hinata, Anko, Tsunade... all retire from ninja missions shortly after the war and choose to only maintain their skills and train the next generation or family.
But thinking back to this here sex shop.
It has everything I’d expect to find in one but in much greater variety and number.
There are hundreds of books and printed hanging scrolls, all sorts of sex toys such as dildos, bondage stuff, and even Chakra-powered rotors… Beneath the clone’s transformation, I left my Byakugan active and could spot inside hidden drawers several jutsu scrolls as well. This shop is not as simple as it looks if it contains ninja-only equipment and even jutsu scrolls.
I decided to at least make use of my time and peruse the goods.
I grabbed a copy of each work from the great Sannin Jiraiya and grabbed a couple of ball gags, rotors and blindfolds.
I don’t bother with the dildos seeing as there is only one larger than my size which is a horribly inconvenient horse-shaped monstrosity, larger than an arm.
I head to the attendant and as he counts my purchases I get to the real reason I was there.
I twirl my miniature mustache.
“If you don’t mind me asking, have you seen any women with black hair and red eyes shopping recently?”
“That will be an extra 2000 ryo.”
“Never mind then.”
“On second thought since sir is a valued first-time customer I’ll lower the information fee to 500 ryo.”
“Acceptable… I'll buy.”
“Two customers match that description, both are regular clients of this shop and one has asked for information on the other."Though they usually visit regularly every week, both have now been absent for over a month.”
Both???
What does this even mean?
“And may I know what they usually purchase?”
“That will be an extra 500.”
“... fine, but it better be worth it.”
“Both are frequent clients of the dildo section, preferring our larger sizes. Together they must have bought over 20 different models.”
…Not what I was expecting but what else was I expecting someone to do in a sex shop... they came to buy sex related stuff.
“Thank you very much, I assume you don’t know any personal information about them.”
“No, that’s all I can tell you about them. That will be 3796 ryo total”
I hand over the money. It was a significant dent in my modest savings but at least if I do well in the Chunin Exams the village will reward us handsomely for representing the village well and due to the time it takes us away from regular missions.
So what did I find out in the end…
Two women? Hopefully not a guy looking at dildos but you never know, visit the shop frequently and are interested in large dildos.
The weird part is how one knows and asked about the other…
Did Kurenai come to investigate the rumors?
If so why didn’t she disguise herself ?
Something doesn’t add up but the end conclusion I can take is that 2 women, one possibly being Kurenai and the other an impersonator have a fascination for unreasonable large-sized cocks the size not naturally available... except for me.
