Bonus: The Bear Fairy and Room of the Unknown
[Personal Diary of the Bear Fairy — Pages with scorched edges, spattered with stardust and smeared ink]
Day [Uncountable / Time has completely fractured] / Entry 38
Location: In front of the sealed door
Status: Shocked / Irritated
I’ve lost count of how many weeks or months I’ve been trapped here! Keeping track of days is completely useless in this temporal labyrinth. I had spent an eternity trying to tear down this barrier, discovering it wasn't just a simple door, but a living membrane formed by such an absurd amount of condensed cursed energy that it had gained physical mass. That's why there were no monsters in this sector: the only entities capable of withstanding that radiation were the straw dolls.
Then the unexpected happened.
It wasn't me who broke the membrane. Out of nowhere, the barrier itself began to creak and crack violently under its own internal pressure. A wild torrent of unbridled energies erupted all at once, and from that broken aura, strange bubbles of images and memories began to float:
First appeared the scene of when I managed to scam Mireya into signing the magical girl contract without his consent. Pfft... what a nuisance, the house projecting my old business deals as if it wanted to scold me (though, of course, zero guilt on my part; a deal's a deal and he simply fell for it).
Then came completely alien and disturbing visions that I didn't fully comprehend: the grotesque image of a chimeric, monstrous creature with an arm turned into pure chaotic energy, a deformed thing that suddenly turned its head to lock eyes directly with me, freezing the blood in my veins.
And in an equally bizarre flash, the fleeting image of an unknown girl with long platinum-pink hair flickered by, completely unconscious and spinning in a violent whirlpool of power while a city burned to ashes in the distance. I have no idea what any of that meant; it was just incomprehensible visual chaos.
The room exploded with a deafening roar. The straw dolls guarding the entrance tried to resist the shockwave, but they were violently repelled, crashing unconscious onto the floor. No one saw me enter.
Day [Unknown] / Entry 39
Location: The master bedroom
Status: Total panic / Bewildered
The atmosphere of the house changed abruptly, growing dense, heavy, and oppressive. I felt immense, hungry presences dragging themselves through the hallways, drawn by the blast. Without thinking, I took advantage of the fact that the main door of the room had been blown open by the explosion and leaped inside, slamming it shut behind me.
The air in here glows with residual energy floating like stardust, smelling of ozone and fever.
I ran straight to the bed, hoping to find Mireya... but the room is empty. There is no trace of him. He vanished.
Outside, in the darkness of the hallways, something is dragging itself closer to this door. The straw dolls outside are unconscious, there's no one to blame, and I am completely alone in a room where the owner is no longer around.
Day [Uncountable] / Entry 40 🫥
Location: Hiding under a piece of furniture in Mireya's empty room
Status: Paralyzed with fear
Good thing I came in here and slammed the door shut. Time kept ticking away in this void, and what came next proved I was entirely right to be terrified.
The room began to be invaded. Everything entered—creatures that defied all logic and power scaling:
SUSIE! The exact same cursed name from the "Susie's Playroom" that I swore never to think of again. At that very second, my brain connected the dots to pure, unadulterated terror, and I decided I wouldn't step out of my hiding place even if I was begged. And good thing I stayed put, because more and more horrible things kept arriving one after another, until finally the nightmare crowd dispersed and they trickled out one by one.
Day [Uncountable] / Entry 41
Location: The floor of Mireya's room
Status: Sore / Paranoid
Once the immediate danger calmed down and everything went quiet, I peeked out with caution. The outside had turned into an absolute, desolate hell; dimensional stability seemed to have completely fallen apart, turning the corridors into an uncontrollable soul-grinder.
Thinking about survival, I deduced that the safest bet was to hunker down right here. I was so exhausted I wanted to lie down on the bed for a moment to catch my breath.
Worst idea ever! The moment my weight touched the mattress, the damn bed violently came to life, stood up, and beat the absolute crap out of me, thrashing me against the walls and floor before collapsing back down meekly to pretend it was just a harmless piece of furniture again. I barely lived to tell the tale!
Day [Uncountable] / Entry 42
Location: Next to the nightstand
Status: Maximum alert / Inspecting with terror
After that incident with the killer mattress, I learned my lesson: in this room, you can't even trust the cushions. I started paying much closer attention to every little detail of this place stuffed with bizarre objects.
Curiously, the walls are plastered with motivational messages written everywhere, repeated endlessly without stopping: "You can do it", "Stay positive", "Everything is going to be fine". I don't know if it's a macabre joke from the house or a reminder that I'm losing my mind, but I decided to stop staring straight ahead and focus on what was closest to me.
I checked the nightstand, and what a collection of compact horrors:
1. First, I saw a cursed porcelain doll trapped inside a glass dome that followed me with its eyes wherever I moved. Obviously, I wasn't going to touch that thing for the life of me.
2. Right next to it was an open box with three pairs of rings emanating a strange, piercing spiritual energy. Better bypass that entirely.
3. And immediately next to the rings rested a clearly demonic book that exuded a tremendous dark energy capable of making anyone dizzy just by looking at its spine.
I decided to look away from that cursed nightstand and continue exploring on tiptoes, cowering and hoping this outside storm would pass as quickly as possible before something else decided to attack me.
Day [Uncountable] / Entry 43
Location: Next to the back dresser
Status: Exhausted / Looking for a distraction
I kept searching the room to avoid crossing paths with the nightstand or the mattress again. Opening one of the bottom drawers, I found something completely out of place among all the weird junk: a full set of exercise gear, packed with dumbbells, small weights, and resistance bands.
At first, I hesitated over whether it was worth exploring more of the room or actually trying out the equipment. However, the moment I looked up and saw a red liquid similar to blood beginning to well up and weep from the walls, the decision made itself.
To keep from losing my mind and completely distract myself from what was happening on the walls and outside, I decided to start doing exercise sets with the weights!
This is the only way to release the built-up tension and keep my mind occupied while I wait for the situation to calm down...
P.S. "I want to cry."
