Bonus: The Bear Fairy vs. The Unhinged House: The Final Stretch
[Personal Diary of the Bear Fairy — Recovered document with burn marks, golden dust, and splattered ink stains]
Day 4 (Or is it Day 9?) / Entry 23
Location: The staircase going down to go up
Status: Disoriented / Dizzy
Even the damn stairs are trying to drive me crazy! I’ve been climbing for what feels like hours trying to reach the upper floor, only to end up on a deeper level. The ceiling now has a tile floor, and the lamps are pointing upward.
To make matters worse, the air became so thick it felt like swimming through jelly. I had to lean against the wall so I wouldn't slide off into the sky... or down, I don't even know which is which anymore. The only thing keeping me sane is seeing the tiny straw paw prints in the dust. If those little dolls can walk around here, so can I.
Entry 26
Location: An auditorium with no audience
Status: Intrigued / Highly alert
I crossed a set of mahogany double doors and suddenly found myself in a large theater lit by a single red spotlight. There were no people on stage—just a pair of floating coats and hats pretending to argue bitterly. Their shadows on the wall didn't match their movements; they had elongated shapes with horns and tails that laughed without making a sound.
I tried to tip-toe around the seats, but the moment I stepped on a carpet, the floor creaked like thin glass. One of the coats snapped around toward me and began unfolding like a giant bat. I bolted down the dressing room hallway before it decided to check if my fur matched its look.
Entry 29
Location: A leather and chains room
Status: Horrified / Disgusted
I walked into what looked like a bedroom with walls lined in black leather, packed with whips, harnesses, and sadomasochistic devices hanging from the ceiling. But the decor wasn't the scary part.
There was a completely naked woman crawling on all fours... on the wall! She moved with unnatural spasms while emitting unintelligible shrieks. When I focused my magic on her, I realized the horrible truth: she wasn't a real person, but a hollow shell controlled from the inside by an entire hive of cockroaches swarming under her skin. I got out of there before that abomination noticed my presence.
Entry 32
Location: [REDACTED / CORRUPTED DATA]
Status: TRAUMATIZED
There is a door in the corridor with a colorful label and child-like icons that reads: "Susie's Playroom".
[PAGE CENSOR / MULTIPLE LINES BLOCKED WITH THICK BLACK INK]
...I refuse to write down what I saw in there. I spent only five minutes in that hellhole and almost lost my mind completely. Urgent mental note: bypass this hallway, seal that door if possible, and NEVER, under any circumstances, go anywhere near that place again.
Entry 34
Location: A hallway of fogged mirrors
Status: Confused / Nostalgic
I ran into the ghost girl again. She appeared floating through the hallway mist and patiently guided me around another gravity trap. There's something in her gaze... I don't know how to explain it, but for a moment, I felt a special chemistry between us—a deep connection in the middle of all this chaos.
But hold on! I need to focus. The Owl Fairy is the only one for me! Nobody is going to change that. Though... ugh, it pisses me off so much just thinking about her right now. Lately, she's been insufferably clingy and close with Lovely Blossom, that magical girl she recruited. She stays glued to her side all the time! I don't care if Lovely Blossom is literally the magical girl of love—I'm not losing in the war of love! The Owl Fairy will look my way again, no matter what it takes.
Entry 35
Location: The inverted garden pantry
Status: Relieved... and with a full belly
Finally some luck after so much horror! Just when I thought I was going to pass out from exhaustion, I stumbled upon a straw doll variant I had never seen before. It was a moss-green shade and wore a tiny flower on its head.
The little straw doll stood in front of a door emanating a frosty aura. It bowed to me and tapped the wood with its straw paw; the door swung wide open to reveal a floating pantry free of monsters. There were intact jars of strawberry jam and cookies that didn't try to bite me. I ate until I couldn't hold another bite. Before leaving, the moss doll sprouted tiny glowing leaves and left me a twig that seems to ward off the foul stench of tar.
Entry 36
Location: Hiding behind the big grandfather clock
Status: Reflective / Determined
The ghost girl appeared again shortly before I reached the main wing. She hovered silently beside me for a while, just keeping me company while I rested my paws. I felt that strange spark again... she's sweet, I can't deny it, and I'm world-level grateful for all the help she's given me in this madhouse. But my heart belongs to the Owl Fairy.
Lovely Blossom better not get cocky just because of her cheesy magical girl powers. I'm going to get out of this house, save Silver Fang, and show the Owl Fairy who the real backbone of this team is!
Entry 37
Location: Outside a door sealed with violet light locks
Status: Determined / Worried
I reached a stretch of the hallway where the house feels different. The atmosphere is no longer hostile, but strangely heavy and warm, as if reality itself were sleeping through the woodwork.
I heard steady breathing on the other side of a heavily reinforced door. There's no doubt: Silver Fang's aura is concentrated here, but the presence surrounding him is gigantic and suffocating, as though the entire house were a cocoon built around his illness. The straw dolls have gathered at the door, sitting in a row like quiet little guardians.
I can't open the door yet; the magical locks require more energy than I have left. I'm going to rest for a bit under the protection of the straw dolls, recharge my magic, and break through the barrier.
Hang in there, you idiot Mireya... I'm just one step away from beating you back to your senses if necessary.
