Bonus: TORN PAGES FROM A STAR-PRINTED DIARY
[Bear Fairy's Personal Log — Recovered document with tar, candy juice, and wax stains]
Day 1 / Entry 01
Location: Entrance of Mireya's house
Status: Annoyed / In disbelief
Hello, dear diary!
I came looking for Silver Fang at his house because he hasn't responded in days. That missing idiot has me falling behind on our corrupt Magical Girl hunting duties! I only came to give him a piece of my mind, but as soon as I crossed the front door... CLACK. It shut on its own.
I tried to get out through the hallway window, and it leads into an endless corridor. Ridiculous. It's definitely some clumsy magical barrier. It doesn't scare me—I'm a professional! I'll find Mireya in his room, we'll sort this out, and then head out for dinner.
Day 1 (Or is it Day 3?) / Entry 04
Location: The... Candy Forest Room?
Status: Confused / Perplexed
Okay, this isn't funny anymore. I opened the door to what should have been the guest bathroom and ended up in a... candy forest?
At first sight, it looked like a Magical Girl paradise: licorice trees, powdered sugar ground, and syrup rivers. But the air smelled spicy and like rotten glucose. A beast made of solid candy with salty crystal teeth burst out of the gummy bushes. I had to run for my life before it gobbled me up. To make matters worse, when I ran through the next door to escape, gravity simply vanished. I spent ages floating through an inverted hallway trying not to throw up.
Time doesn't flow straight here. The hands on my watch spin backward and then jump three hours forward.
Entry 07
Location: A second-floor bathroom
Status: Terrified / Disgusted
Note: The page is stained with slimy residue and smells like harsh chemicals.
I barely made it out of this one. I heard running water and thought maybe Mireya was washing his face. I opened the door and the bathtub was filled with a thick, glowing liquid. I leaned in to check... and the damn water came alive! It was a living slime that leaped out of the tub trying to swallow me whole. I could feel it dissolving my fur as I fought to break free.
I had to freeze its core using what little magic I had left just to bolt out of there. You can't even trust the bathwater in this place.
Entry 11
Location: The Shadow Runway
Status: Exhausted / Trembling
I ended up in a long hallway illuminated by dressing room lights. I thought I was safe until I saw them: dozens of mannequins lined up on both sides.
The second I took a step, their necks snapped around with a dry crunch. They were moving on their own. Their porcelain shells were cracked, and black tar oozed from the fissures, dripping onto the floor as they chased me and shoved past each other. The clattering sound of their rigid plastic footsteps echoing on the wood is still ringing in my head. I ran so hard my paws ache.
Entry 15
Location: Hiding spot inside a wall cavity
Status: Somewhat relieved... but on edge
It hasn't been absolute horror, though. Last night (or whatever time it was), I ran into hooded figures walking in a single-file line through the darkness. They looked like cultists holding a silent procession down the main hallway. I hid and held my breath until they passed.
Luckily, a very sweet ghost girl floated over and silently gestured to me. She led me through a shortcut through the wall, saving my hide from being discovered by those creeps.
I've also found little moments of comfort: scattered around various corners, there are friendly little straw dolls. They're adorable! Most of them run and play around, taking the shapes of tiny straw animals. Watching them hop around brings back a bit of my sanity.
Entry 19
Location: A dismantled kitchen
Status: Starving, but safe
Today I ran into two peculiar variants of those straw dolls that totally surprised me:
First, I saw a small crimson straw doll. It had a heavy iron smell, like old metal. I watched it freeze and stare up at a full moon that randomly projected onto the ceiling, and suddenly... it transformed into a straw bat and flew away!
Shortly after, a wild monster furniture—a creepy sideboard with wooden teeth and snapping drawers—tried to ambush me. I barely managed to defeat the scavenger. As I lay on the floor catching my breath, another peculiar straw doll appeared, glowing in a gorgeous ultraviolet shade. It motioned to me and guided me to a corner where I found some untouched food. As soon as it finished helping me, the little doll simply turned invisible and vanished.
Entry 22
Location: A flight of stairs climbing into infinity
Status: Still searching for Mireya
I'm still here. My notebook is packed with notes, and I still have plenty of pages left to write. I know Mireya is somewhere in this labyrinthine house, sick and trapped in his own distorted reality.
I have to keep moving forward. Between the candy beasts, the tar-dripping mannequins, and the gravity shifts, at least I know I'm not completely alone as long as those straw dolls are roaming around.
I'm going to find that idiot Silver Fang... even if it takes me a thousand more pages to get out of here.
