Opening the box..

Hello everyone!

Previously, after a brief moment of madness due to emotional chaos, I was able to react, sedating myself to force myself to remain calm. However, unexpectedly, the emotional overload seemed to have affected Echidna as well!

Will our hero survive?

QUESTION: ARE YOU OKAY?

ANSWER: NO

But hey, with the introduction already done, I think it's time to give more context!

You see, as you may recall, I was suffering from a massive, non-stop discharge and feedback of emotions, but this wasn't just affecting me—in the long run, the others would be affected too!

So, to suppress the problem, I used the most logical and problematic strategy for myself, which required the use of massive quantities of elephant tranquilizer that I kept for emergencies.

Why did you have something like that?

... That is an excellent question, dear reader... But well... Er, I can only answer... FOR EMERGENCIES!!

But hey, back to the topic!

To understand what I did, we first have to understand the control, so it's time for the explanation!

You see, according to the bear fairy, the nature of the Magical Girl transformation is linked to something called Innocence, which is tied to the concepts of purity, love, and affective bonds, so in this case, things develop as follows!

1. Innocence as Primary Magic

The Requirement: The fairy seeks a person (any age or gender) who possesses great innocence linked to purity, love, or intense affective feelings.

The Conversion: After the contract, this innocence is converted into Primary Magic. It is the fuel, the base mana of a magical girl's system.

The Personalization: Primary Magic of innocence mixes with the user's personality and way of being, which results in the unique Characteristic Magic of each magical girl!

2. Contract Execution and Fairy Assignment

Once the fairy establishes eligibility, the pact is sealed, either through a complex ritual (a detailed oath) or a simple one (a touch or a verbal promise).

By the way, since they tricked me into accepting the conditions, I fall into the latter category... Ahem—but let's continue!

Fairy Fiduciary Assignment: The fairy is assigned to the recipient, after which the fairy’s function is to act as a supervisor, counselor, and, crucially, as an emergency magical regulator for their pupil's new power system!

Primary Magic Conversion: The candidate's Innocence is transformed and sealed as the system's functional Primary Magic. This energy is now accessible for the transformation.

OK... Are you understanding all of this...? Because if so, let's continue!

3. The Physical and Physiological Advantages of Transformation

The transformation is the physical manifestation of the contract, granting a series of superhuman and biological benefits in the process!

This means that bodily needs like eating, sleeping, or excreting become unnecessary, plus the use of air becomes unnecessary while one remains transformed!

In summary, it's thanks to this that I can use so many sedatives without much risk... Although, well... Ironically, it's because of this that so much was needed just to achieve a minimum effect... But you don't look a gift horse in the mouth!

Anyway, the next things would be the superhuman physical capabilities, a product of the magical energy flowing into the musculature and nervous system, allowing for strength, speed, and endurance beyond human limits, or flight which creates a localized anti-gravity field, powered by the flow of Primary Magic.

Indispensable things for a Magical Girl! (the bear fairy’s presumption)

To finish this explanation, the adapted weapon finally comes!

The weapon materializes as an extension of the user, reflecting their personality and abilities based on their talent.

This is why every magical girl can have a distinct weapon like staves, swords, bows, or others that possess a unique ability independent of their magical girl's magic—and in my case, my trusty Antonio (frying pan), which can extend and contract!

Huh...? Why are you looking at me like that?

What do you mean about hiding information?!

I would never do such a thing... Okay, yes, I would... But I beg you, let's skip the last part of the explanation, please!

.... It's not possible, is it?

You know, dear readers, sometimes I feel like you have something against me.

Haaaah... Fine.

4.The Appearance Clause (Essential Desire Manifestation)

The final form of the Magical Girl is a magical manifestation of the recipient's deepest subconscious desires, known as the Essential Desire Clause.

Subjective Manifestation: Upon transforming, the appearance reflects the recipient's desire at the moment of the contract.

If the desire was to be younger, they will acquire a youthful form of themselves.

If the desire was for a specific form (one that radiates more confidence, is taller, etc.), that form materializes upon transformation.

Lack of Conscious Control: Although born from a desire, this desire is so deep that the recipient has no conscious control over the exact result. The fairy interprets the desire's resonance, and the Primary Magic materializes it, resulting in an appearance that is the hero's true idealized "battle form."

But there's a catch!!

As you know, the transformation is a magical girl one, so even with everything specified, in the end, the transformation comes with a cute dress. (Mandatory).

It seems this was done to allow girls or other exceptions to transform and fight!

... But, as there is always a "but," for such a thing to work, one must have the intention, when transforming the first time, about their idealized form for it to function, and since I was tricked, transforming abruptly, I only got the damned cross-dressing!

Worse yet, out of bloody nowhere, my gender changed in another world, and I can't cancel the transformation!!

("We are currently experiencing technical difficulties. We deeply regret the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.")

Ahem, sorry about that, let's continue!

So, getting back to the point, right now, with everything explained, I think you'll notice that there is nothing here that explains why my magic is failing!

Right now, I can't stop receiving surrounding emotions and releasing the amplified emotions to the environment in a damned endless cycle!

Worse yet, to mitigate the effect, I had no choice but to suppress the release, thus breaking the (exhausting) cycle once and for all... Or so I thought.

But it turns out that by doing that, the effect on me was worse, because I can only receive and retain external emotions!

Do you know how difficult that is...?

I had to enter a physical lethargy to suppress the reaction!!

... But the saddest thing is that even with that, my mind seems to be much more active than normal, which is saying a lot!

Even stranger is that the pupil of my eyes looks like a fluorescent lamp!

... Although it doesn't actually look bad aesthetically speaking.

But putting that aside, unexpectedly, it turns out that Echidna was also affected by this situation! Which makes sense if I think about it carefully, since after all we are linked... Although I think it's too late to realize it... Yep, too late... Especially because she is strangling me!

Why?!

Well, dear reader, as you may recall, Echidna usually prefers her snake form over her human one purely for comfort; however, it turns out that snakes gently coil around a human's torso (or their arm/shoulder) in a way that is firmly encompassing but not constrictive, to communicate protection, territoriality, and bodily warmth.

The gesture is often done when the human is vulnerable or scared, offering a sense of unparalleled security.

But Echidna is obviously applying too much force to a level that seems excessive!

Honestly and ironically, if I weren't in my Magical Girl form, I would frankly already be dead just because of the level of force she is currently applying.

And I don't know how much more I can resist!!

In fact, I can't even speak to call for help because my mouth is blocked by Echidna!

At this point... Maybe there is only one solution to escape... But...

It really seems like a bad idea.

What do you mean?

Well, dear reader, there is something I can do that, in fact, can repress the emotional overload and, in turn, calm Echidna down from her current situation, and in fact, you already know the solution.

I... I must resonate with Echidna and... Release Melioris...

What's the problem with that?

You don't understand, dear reader!!

As it is, the resonance with Echidna in the base state already gives Melioris a lot of free time, who can already come out with a simple resonance with Echidna. But the problem is that right now, I am in the Magical Girl state!

Do you understand what that means...?

I have no idea how long the fusion will last in this case!

Besides... Maybe you don't know this, but... All the total resonances that create other personalities are usually... Well... To put it gently... Psychopaths!!

The last time she didn't seem so bad?

That's because I made a deal, and there were social rules in modern society that kept her calm!

But now we are in a fantasy world with swords and magic...

This is like giving her carte blanche (free rein)!!

(CRACK!)

... But I have no choice... Because I feel my bones starting to break!

I'm sorry, world... But I must let the "monster" out of its cell... Or in this case, its box...?

"Hmph, hmph!!" (Resonance)

(FLASH!!)

And just like that, with a flash of light, my consciousness shut down...
