Emotions out of control

Hello everyone...

"My... eyelids... feel... like... lead."

But I can still hold on!!

... Well, it’s strange, honestly.

Oh, but you're probably wondering what's happening now? Or maybe if I've already calmed down...?

To which, first of all, allow me to say this: I apologize for my previous behavior!!

But don't worry because I’ve already made sure to take control again!

But you surely need some context, right? So, it's time to explain!

You see, to begin with, the feeling of "weird" is the persistent sensation of amplified emotions, a product of the uncontrolled Magical Girl transformation.

But that leaves the question: why did the transformation go out of control?

Well, dear reader, the answer is that... I have no idea!!

Damn it, I’m not the stupid bear fairy who tricked me into becoming a Magical Girl, so how am I supposed to know!

I mean, to start, the transformation is obviously different from the usual.

What's different about it?

Well, I'm glad you asked, dear reader, because I will gladly explain the differences one by one!

First, my silver hair before, upon transforming, only grew moderately, reaching shoulder length. It was a neat mane, with a cut that allowed for an androgynous air, being long enough to be "feminine," but not overly dramatic.

But now my silver hair extends impressively, reaching down to my back with a silky length and flow, giving off a majestic air!

And what’s the problem with that?

... Okay, actually not much. After all, there are men who can have long hair. I mean, in cultivation worlds with immortals, men usually have it long, so I can accept that!

But unfortunately, those weren't the only changes!!

Because then there's the outfit, which is probably the most affected!

Before, it was a black and white ruffle dress with a classic design, perhaps with the air of a maiden or maid, with the bicolor contrast providing a sense of innocence and duality.

But now the outfit has added embroidery and ribbons that shine like a rainbow!

Although it certainly has an exquisite and resplendent ornamental detail.

How do you know so much about fashion...?

... Look, dear readers... Frankly, I was the only physical man... In a house surrounded by women... So I literally had to learn!

Were you forced?

Well... Not really...

Then why did you learn all that?!

Very easy, dear reader... To dress Silver, Goldie, and the others adorably!!

QUESTION: SERIOUSLY?

ANSWER: AFFIRMATIVE.

What...? Don't look at me like that!!

You know what, let's just move on to the next thing! OK?!

Agreed!!

So, moving on to the next thing, it's the locket, which was previously a simple pendant focused on a central gem that shone with a fluctuating and constant light of colors like blue, red, green, or yellow.

But now the pendant has adopted the shape of a snake eating its own tail with the gem in the center turned off!

... Which frankly leaves me with more questions than answers... As always, that part is the most enigmatic aspect of the transformation...

Huh...?! What do you mean you want me to get straight to the point of what I look like?!

... Ugh... Haa... Fine, fine, you win... But since I frankly hate this part the most, I’m just going to give the detailed, extensive, and enthusiastic opinion of Echidna about my current appearance... I hate this...

Ahem—we start with a figure that is inherently slender and delicate, without developed curves, possessing instead the light grace of the transition between childhood and maturity! (Why the hell does Echidna know all this?)

This skeletal and infantile silhouette is accentuated by skin of an almost unreal pallor, suggesting lightness with fluid and ethereal movements as if she were about to float. (I hate this so much).

Framing the delicate face, the silver hair is one of the most dazzling characteristics; no longer stopping at the shoulders, it now extends like a liquid cascade toward the lower back, catching the light and dispersing it like moon-spun silk. (Echidna is scaring me).

The white eyes confer a spectral gaze, as if she were seeing the world through a veil or channeling an energy that has stripped her eyes of all humanity, radiating a faint internal light that, far from being warm, is cold and distant, suggesting a connection to planes beyond the earthly. (Echidna's gaze was scary).

And with a dress with embroidery and ribbons that radiate a rainbow shimmer. This glow is not merely reflective, but seems to feed on the ambient light itself, fluctuating and moving as if countless threads of magical silk have been woven into the fabric. Every ruffle, every fold, and every ribbon flashes with the colors of the prism, contrasting powerfully with the spectral pallor of the skin. (At this point, I felt I was in danger).

The focal point of the entire appearance is the locket that now adorns the chest. It has abandoned its simple form for the imposing and complex symbol... (Here I hit her again and again with the frying pan to snap her out of it).

Wait, why did you stop her?!

For my own good!!

Maybe you weren't there at that moment, but as Echidna was saying all that, I felt as if a bunch of snakes were wrapping themselves tighter and tighter around me while her gaze shifted from a calm one to a strangely intense one, bringing her face closer to mine!

Which... Was terrifying!!

So, going back to the topic and ignoring what happened at that moment, it’s time to explain how things got out of control.

You see, basically, I don't know whether to say that this new form was an evolution or something similar, because what happened at that moment was excessive!

Why do you say that...?

Oh, for nothing important... except for the fact that I transformed into a gigantic and chaotic empathic receiver!

It wasn't a wave, but an uncontrolled tidal wave of emotions that suddenly attacked me from everywhere.

Do you know what it’s like to feel the emotions of every sentient being for miles and miles around?!

I felt the fear of death, the joy of life, pain, love, and much more from everywhere without stopping!

The range expanded and magnified so fast that I frankly couldn't keep up with it, and I immediately wanted to detransform... But unfortunately... The transformation... Did not cease.

Yep... No matter how much I tried, I was incapable of returning to normal... I'm going to kill that bear fairy when I see her...

So, with that said, let's move on to a quick question!

What do you think was its immediate effect on the environment?

Well, in conclusion, to save time, the emotions I detected were taken, filtered, and then returned to their original sources with an intensity multiplied by ten!

What effect does that have on a person?

I honestly don't know, but to prevent the worst-case scenario, I had to keep it under control!

Result: I lost control a little bit.

So, that's why, after regaining my senses thanks to Echidna's slap, I did the only thing I could do to stay calm.

To stop the empathic disaster caused by the uncontrolled Sympathy Magic, I had to anesthetize myself with massive doses of tranquilizers and sedatives!

I then wrapped myself in a reinforced straitjacket to lie down on the bed, where I used Brownie in headphone form to play relaxing sounds to maintain calm.

Which worked!!

Although one question still remains...

"Can you let me go now... Echidna?"

<"No~">

... Echidna... Is she truly affected?
