Dead world and…

<"But putting that aside, it seems we find ourselves in another world.">

"Wait... what did you just say?!"

Hello, everyone?! (Confusion.)

Upon previously waking up via some gentle (brutal!) slaps, I discovered I was in a forest in pajamas with Silver, Goldie, and Brownie, plus Echidna (obviously), having just received the shocking revelation from Echidna about my dangerous state while I slept!

And now you're probably asking yourselves, just like me, what happens next...?

"No, seriously! What do you mean we're in another world?!"

<"It is just as I said. It seems we were transported to another world or universe, if you prefer to refer to it that way.">

"....."

Okay... Fine... I'll be frank: I was absolutely not expecting something like this!

Couldn't you predict something like this would happen?

Of course, the answer to that question is a resounding NO, OF COURSE NOT!! I mean, sure, I've faced many situations (from fighting kaijus, dragons, escaping ghosts, dealing with tentacle-type things, avoiding brain washers, surviving curses, and even getting scammed—occasionally) throughout my entire life since I reincarnated into a world with a stupid predilection for depressing erotic-type events...

But I never expected an Isekai after already having reincarnated!

Or rather, who expects an "other world travel" type event in a world that is already R-rated!

Why not me?!

I mean, while I created contingency plans against every erotic situation I could think of (from tentacle games, brainwashing, possessions, unexpected betrayals, hostage taking, and attempted rape), I never thought of anything for accidentally traveling to another world while sleeping!

"What are we going to do?!"

<"Calm down.">

(slap!)

"OW!!"

<"Why are you so upset?">

Despite my panic, however, Echidna seemed as calm as ever, looking at my state of confusion with an expression of exasperation, as if this were no big deal. Which can only mean one thing!

"Don't tell me... you know how to get out of here?!"

<"Of course. Or rather, I'm surprised you haven't noticed it yet.">

"?"

<".... You really didn't notice?... Haaa... Do you forget that you have a spell that acts on space?">

"?!"

I remember!!

Thanks to Echidna's words, I did, in fact, remember having a magic for this type of situation!

Is there really one?!

Well, yes, dear reader! But before you come here to tell me that this is a huge Deus Ex Machina for the situation, I want to clarify that it's not!

You see, the spell is called "Emotional Resonance: Invocation," and I created it to summon the straw dolls in case they got lost!

QUESTION: Did you really create that magic for something like that?!

ANSWER: That's right!!

However, I will admit that creating this spell was quite difficult to do, but fortunately, by using the "links" of Sympathy Magic, I was able to create this spell to summon any being with whom I have formed a bond!

Thanks to that, I can summon allies no matter where I am!!

"Wait a minute... How is that going to help me get out of here?"

"Suck, suck."

<"I have a better question: For how long do you plan to let that undead suck your neck?">

"Until she's satisfied."

<"......">

"What...?"

<"Forget it, and the answer to your question is simple: you just need to do the invocation in reverse.">

"You mean...?"

<"That's right. Instead of transporting allies, you invoke yourself to their location.">

"?!"

How did I not think of that before?!

Damn it! If I had known I could do something like that, I could have moved faster and put all those ideas I had during my dark period into practice!

(slap!)

<"Concentrate, this is no time to lose yourself in your thoughts, and look in that direction.">

"What do you... mean...?"

It was only when I turned to where Echidna was pointing that I finally noticed where the burnt or smoky smell was coming from, similar to burnt wood or leaves, which I could faintly sense since I woke up....

"......."

What did I see?

Well... In short... everything can be summed up as... TOTAL DESTRUCTION!

How does the scene look?

Well, please, imagine this scene...

From the gloom of a dense and twisted forest, where the trees rise like charred skeletons and the earth is cracked and steaming, a desolate vision unfolds. The grove offers little shelter, its bare branches tearing at an orange sky thinned by smoke. In the distance, where skyscrapers and bustling avenues once stood, there is now only a vast, scorched wasteland.

The city has been reduced to an urban skeleton, with melted and twisted structures that stand as monuments to an unimaginable catastrophe. Buildings that were once towering have been cut in half, their exposed guts covered in soot. The roads have become ribbons of molten asphalt, marked by craters and glowing debris. Small fires still burn sporadically in the wreckage, sending up plumes of smoke that mingle with the general haze, creating a suffocating and apocalyptic atmosphere. The air hums with an eerie silence, only interrupted by the occasional cracking of cooling remains.

Yep, it's a landscape that truly evokes the post-apocalyptic and strangely mutated aesthetic of the Earth I'm on. Plus, considering that there are zombies thanks to this girl who keeps sucking on my neck, I have no doubt that civilization collapsed in this world!

"... Only one thing can cause this level of devastation."

The air, thick with the smell of ash and burnt metal, clung to my throat. From this vantage point in the charred forest, the sight of the dead city was overwhelming. It wasn't just the destruction; it was the complete and unnatural sterilization of the place. A natural disaster leaves scars, but this... this looked intentional, with ruthless precision.

"A nuclear bomb."

"Chomp, chomp."

I approached a fallen log, whispering, my voice sounding hoarse in the sepulchral silence. The log disintegrated on contact (even with the zombie still sucking), making me lament the situation.

I observed the pattern of the devastation. The center of the city was pulverized, fused. The outskirts, like this forest, were burned and twisted, but not vaporized. A meteorological phenomenon, however violent, wouldn't leave this kind of radiant signature. A massive fire disperses, it jumps. But this annihilation, this fusion pit in the urban center...

"....."

I looked up at the sky, where the reddish swirl had dissipated, leaving only a sickly patina of orange and gray.

"FOOLS!"

The bombs had struck in a chain, or perhaps a single, immense one had erased the heart of civilization.

"What have they done?!"

"Chomp, chomp."

I knelt beside a puddle of boiling mud that was slowly bubbling. It was too soon for life to mutate like this from radiation. What came after the fire was what truly sealed the planet's fate.

"They have destroyed everything!!"

<"Actually, you were the cause of that scene.">

"Huh...?"

<"When we arrived in this world, your massive energy quantities imploded upon merging with something of Unknown origin, but at the same time similar, creating a vortex of destruction.">

"......"

<"From which we were shot out, falling here.">

"....."

...

<"REACT!">

(SLAP!)

"?!"

BUT WHAT HAVE I DONE?!

"What do we do now?!"

(slap!)

<"Calm down and listen closely...">

"Gulp...."

<"Let's get out of here.">

".... Is that all?!"

<"That's right.">

"But if I really caused the explosion! Shouldn't I repair the damage?!"

<"I thought you'd say that; however, this world seemed to already be doomed before we even arrived.">

"?"

<"Since I arrived, I barely feel any vitality from this world. Furthermore, the corpse you have stuck to your neck was already wandering around originally; we simply fell right on top of it when we arrived.">

"......."

<"Besides, the explosion happened from a mix of your energy combined with one of unknown origin upon arrival, so that destruction wasn't only caused by us.">

".... But"

<"Or would you prefer to stay here for years restoring a hopeless world, leaving everyone else behind?">

"... Ugh"

.... Echidna is right. No matter everything I can do, even with help, restoring an entire planet is still something I'm not capable of.

"Haaa... Fine... I get it..."

(Poof!)

"Chump, chump."

"Well, it's time to say goodbye, little one."

So, in that way, I transformed, held the cute zombie, peeling her off my neck and giving her a little pat on the head before standing up and activating the spell.

"Alright everyone, time to go!"

("Let's go!")

("!!")

("Clink, clank!")

"{Emotional Resonance: Reverse Invocation!}"

And with those words, we were gone....

"Grawr.... M-mama...."

.... Without knowing the monster I had created.
